10 Reasons You Might Need A New Bra

From AOL:

Strapless BraBuying a new bra is a task many women put off. Whether it’s the expense, the feeling that it’s self-indulgence, or just not having the time to try one on to find a proper fit, bra shopping is not always at the top of everyone’s list. Still, there are times when new bras are simply a must-and it’s not just when your bras get so disreputable-looking that your husband makes fun of you. Knowing when to get a new one is the key to helping you keep bras that fit and are comfortable. These tips should help you find the right bra for your size and shape.

  1. You haven’t purchased a bra in the past six months. Is the expense keeping you in bras that are wearing out? Sure, you can spend $50 or even $100 on a bra pretty easily, but there are plenty of cute bras available for under $30. If you’d spend it on a manicure or a couple of movie tickets, you should be able to spend it onConvertible Bra a bra.

  2. You have a special occasion coming up. If you’re a bridesmaid in a wedding, or you’re going to a formal dance, you may need a strapless or convertible bra .

  3. You’re pregnant . No, you don’t need a nursing or maternity bra yet-but your breasts are going to grow a surprising amount over the next nine months. Chances are you’ll need to size up twice during your pregnancy. And even if you were an "A" cup to begin with, you’re going to need an underwire for support now. Be kind to your breasts during pregnancy and nursing-good bras can minimize post-baby sagging. Bali , Playtex , and Calvin Klein offer some comfortable choices for this time in your life.

  4. You’ve been wearing an ill-fitting bra. If your bra is puckered, oddly stretched, the back strap is riding up, or you have that magical bra line visible over your chest-you need a different bra. Be honest with yourself-as much as you’d like to be a C, are you really a B? Or, conversely, is a D cup just too small? Your bra should be supportive without being constricting, and should not gape away from your skin at any point when you are standing up straight. Check out full-figured or plus-size bras for a good fit, or get seamless bras if you wear t-shirts often. And stop worrying about size! Comfort in a bra is where it’s at.

  5. You’ve washed your bras repeatedly in the washing machine. Bras should be hand-washed. If you do not have the time, then at least use a lingerie bag for them as it will protect the straps and hooks from getting caught while washing or drying. Bras washed in the machine and without protection need to be replaced far more often.

You Touch Me And I’m Weak

I’m a kid out of school.

A fire out of control.

Just another fool.

This is my home.

I don’t want to leave.

I belong here.

A place for me.

I’ve wandered too long. This is my home, my family.

Pardon me if I should stare and tremble like a child.

I’m just what you make me.

Pardon me for quoting Anne Murray.

It’s been a long walkabout.

I’m a little weak, a feather in the wind.

But I’ve come home. I really want to do this. It’s divine truth. It’s my life. Sure, I fumble and fall, run into the wall, can’t get out of my own way…

Emma Turns 19 Friday

She’s posted this new picture:

She’s made her first blog post on MySpace:

May 16th 1989 when I was born and given life. After eighteen years here, I am all grown up and a matured into a young lady. Throughout these 18 years of life, I have learnt so much and have endured many good and bad times. Although i’m looking forward towards my birthday, I feel sad and disappointed with myself over certain matters. I feel my character is developing. Things are getting better as I learn to master my domain and learn what purpose my life holds.

As we grow older, we have more responsibilities and more expectations set upon us. On my 16th birthday, that seemed daunting because I was no longer a child, and not sure I was an adult. But now, I am excited to find out what life has to offer. I am looking forward to enjoying everything and every experience, travelling, and seeing the world. As I age, I’ll slowly learn. And it’s the journey that’s worth while. 19 years of living seems like eternity. I’m still growing and I’m loving every moment of it.

Well, 18, it was an interesting year.  One that made me grow up a lot and one that helped me figure some things out. 18 was something else! There were good times and bad. Scars and bruises and great surprises. So here’s my New Year’s resolution (because this is a new year for me): I’m going to try and make 19 a heck of a lot better than 18. No regrets this year!

Bring it on, 19, let’s have some fun……

Emma dreamed about Jesus last night: "He was on the other side of a fence talking to me. I couldn’t make out what he was saying. I was waiting on him to speak again, then he screamed in my right ear in a very high pitched voice, I woke up right away. Can’t get that scream out of my head."

The Burka Lady Of Beit Shemesh

The guy circled is the son-in-law of the Burka lady of Beit Shemesh.

From the Jerusalem Post March 27, 2008:

A fringe sect of Jewish women with a Taliban-like dress code will be overcome by a major spiritual crisis after the arrest of the group’s leader on charges of child abuse, haredi sources in Beit Shemesh predicted Wednesday.

According to haredi media and a well-informed source in Beit Shemesh, the 54-year-old mother of 12 who is suspected of serious child abuse and failing to report multiple cases of incest among her children, is none other than the head of a sect of women who adhere to a dress code more stringent than that of the most extreme Muslim sects and a rigorous health food diet.

"We always knew those women were crazy," said Shmuel Poppenheim, a spokesman for the Eda Haredit – one of the most zealously religious groups in Israeli Orthodoxy – who lives in Beit Shemesh. "Now we have been vindicated, and those women will have to stop their insane behavior."

Another Beit Shemesh resident and haredi journalist, who preferred to remain anonymous, predicted that the arrest of their leader would send the sect spiraling into a "major spiritual tailspin that would lead to its demise."

"I do not envy those women," said the source. "They are going to be facing some major soul-searching."

None of the sect’s members, who reportedly number as many as 50 in Beit Shemesh and are also scattered around Safed and Jerusalem, could be reached by The Jerusalem Post for comment. They do not speak with men, even by telephone.

On Tuesday, police announced that they had arrested a woman last month whose name could not be divulged. Police suspicions were aroused after neighbors complained they had heard a child crying for help and objects being broken in the home, a police investigator told a Jerusalem court at a remand hearing on Tuesday.

The Beit Shemesh resident is also suspected of failing to report multiple cases of incest among her children. She was remanded for six days by the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

He was on the roadtrip of a lifetime, chugging across the US at the wheel of an exquisite vintage Torino with a young, blonde, beautiful … workmate

Dave Gorman writes for the Times of London:

The hotel receptionist stared at me with what seemed undue suspicion. “So … you want a room?” he asked, his tone of voice suggesting that he found the idea faintly absurd. “Yes,” I said, my eyes flitting about the tiny lobby to check that it was indeed a hotel reception. I’d hate to think I was requesting a room from some kind of avant-garde LA butchers. Reassured that my environment was radiating nothing but hotel-ness, I ploughed on.

“But not just one room. My colleague would like a room for the night also. We’d like a room each. Between us, we’d like two rooms.” I paused. “Please.” “Two rooms?” “Uh huh.” “And there are just two of you?” “That’s right.” “And when you’re in the rooms, the two of you are planning to … ?” He left the question mark there, just floating in the space between us.

I waited a short while, hoping he would add another word or two. He didn’t. My jet-lagged brain struggled to work out what he wanted to know. What did he think we might be planning to do? “Um … sleep. In them. I guess,” I guessed.

“So you’re not going to … ?” Again the question was left unfinished. Not going to … what? The list of things we were not going to do was long. Infinite, even. It always is. I mean, the list of things I’m doing right now is pretty short: I’m writing, I’m thinking, I’m compiling a list of the things I’m doing right now and … and, well, that’s about it. On the other hand, the list of things I’m not doing is huge. I’m not swimming the Channel, I’m not clipping my toenails, I’m not clipping your toenails and, well, you get the idea.

I looked this most cryptic of hoteliers in the eye in the hope that his true meaning would be revealed. He didn’t meet my gaze for long.

Instead his eyes darted away from mine, taking a giveaway glance just over my shoulder. Instinctively, I turned to see what it was that had caught his attention and at last I understood his suspicion.

Through the glass door, the hotel receptionist had found himself staring straight into the lens of a large video camera. Holding the camera was Stef, an attractive, thirtysomething blonde. The ring in her nose was glinting with each blink of the hotel’s neon sign.

Aish.com Hacked Again

Much of Friday, Aish.com hung up a notice that it was undergoing routine maintenance.

Today they told the truth:

Aish.com has been maliciously attacked by a group from China. Our servers are undergoing extensive anti-hacking, filtering and monitoring upgrades. When the security upgrades are in place, the website will be made live in a limited mode: activities like sending prayers to the Wall will not be immediately available. We hope, God willing, to be live again on Tuesday, May 13th. In the meantime, you can visit AishAudio.com, AishCafe.com or watch our latest movie below: Israel Then & Now

Daily Yid A Pawn In Battle Between Rival Satmar Factions?

Yoylish writes:

It’s a long story, Luke:

First Leah Kleim caught a Satmar News web site admin, called the "DailyYid" who was accused of being a Child Molester who abused his children and his wife and others.

Satmar which has 2 rival groups got on his case because DailyYid was of one faction, the Zaloinim and was against the Aronim.

The Aronim Satmar started revealing his identity and caused the DailyYid.com to be forced to close down.

These foolish Satmars were dancing in the streets and announced on their rival site DailyYidden.blogspot.com "Mission Accomplished" that they closed down DailyYid the abuser.

Further more they said that they are "so nice" that they will close down their own site which displayed all the dirt on DailyYid Satmar.

However these darn fools conveniently forgot "forgot" that they have failed to get the child molester arrested!!!!???

Another Whistle Blower, captured all the negative against the DailyYid and preserved the stupidity of Satmar where they are not even ashamed of themselves to call it "Mission Accomplished: while the Abuser is free to abuse more Satmar children and all they have "accomplished" is to close down a blog.

What fools!

Before they deleted all their foolishness, it was all preserved at the following new blog.

http://vosisneis.blogspot.com/

Leah Kleim says: "Daily Yid is too new of a blog to matter or have impact, just recently he started getting 1,000 hits a day, when he first contacted me he was lucky to see 250 in a week, I don’t think Satmar or anyone for that matter was on his case about anything."

Book Review: The Producers: Profiles in Frustration

Here’s a recent blog post:

SEATTLE, Washington – In case you’ve wondered what it is that a television or movie producer does – you can read The Producers and still not be quite sure what they do.

Author Luke Ford has been around the block. A few of us would read his porn gossip website when we were in grad school in the late 1990s. This type of profession was unusual for a convert to Orthodox Judaism, and he wrestled with this for years (a struggle chronicled in his XXX-Communicated: A Rebel Without a Shul) and appears to have finally thrown the porn reporting over the rail.

The book contains interviews with 68 different producers. If you’re interested in movie scuttlebutt at all, the material is interesting. Luke doesn’t talk a lot in the interviews, and when he does it’s often to ask questions about values and Judaism. Luke’s the kind of guy that throws all his stuff onto his website, so you can read most of the interviews…on his website. Some good example interviews are Peter Hyams (I never seem to like his movies) and Christopher Mankiewicz (for his repeated bashing of producer Arnold Kopelson).

I also did throw a dozen or so movies into the Netflix queue while reading the book, including The Man From Elysian Fields, Trees Lounge, and Sordid Lives.

One amazing thing about Ford’s writing is his incredibly bad spelling. For a guy obsessed with Hollywood, he inexplicably misspells names like Lee Strasberg and Hal Wallis. He must call Sidney Lumet "Sydney Lumet" a dozen times. At least his mistakes aren’t confined to names – Luke, there’s no such thing as "du-op" music. Luke, "He’s the worst human being whoever lived" is not a valid sentence. I’ll forgive Luke for writing that Don Phillips "grew up in Ventner, New Jersey, a heavily Jewish town" – the name’s wrong but it was a heavily Jewish town in the 1940s.

Ford claims he was laid up with "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" for six years, perhaps those were the years when spelling is learned.

I spent $3,000 getting my book proofed. I was robbed!
