Post: ‘My Roman Salute w/ Tila’

If it is publicly acceptable to wear communist regalia such as a Che t-shirt and to use marxist terminology and arguments, then why shouldn’t it be equally acceptable to snap a Roman salute? Communists slaughtered far more people than Nazis and yet communism remains cool with many of the West’s intellectuals, particularly Jews.

A young man, Hugh, with a Jewish father, non-Jewish mother posts:

nintchdbpict0002842442461

[Author wears glasses on the left. ]

Personally I do not have any problems with this gesture, as I think it is an inspirational expression of loyalty to, and pride in, our heritage. I understand not all members of the movement would agree, and for that reason I would not willingly put out an image of myself doing it while associated with the movement.

That evening I saw that Tila Tequila had posted this image to her Twitter page. I was at first worried it would come back on both myself and the movement, but as a half-jew posing with an Asian I figured it would be viewed for what it was, a joke. But as the next day wore on, and I saw the image gaining traction, I became more and more fearful of the image’s attention overshadowing the real content and purpose of the conference.

After Richard Spencer’s rousing and excellent speech on Saturday night, several attendees threw up Roman salutes themselves. I personally did not, as I was already quite upset with myself for my part in the photo from the previous night. I do not condemn them, as I imagine they felt the same way I did raising the salute with Tila. Whether or not it was a poor choice is a very subjective matter as we have purposefully grown the Alt-Right as a very big tent, filled with a spectacular diversity of opinions, ranging from those of Andrew Anglin, to the now highly critical Mike Cernovich.

This nebulous and inclusive nature has made us both extremely effective, and extremely vulnerable to problems like infighting. The last thing I would ever want is to see us begin to splinter in the face of such a trivial disagreement, and to be at the center of it personally would drive me to utter despair.

Despite being the product of the selfish act of miscegenation myself, I identify as European. The preservation of our race, our culture, and our way of life is more dear to me than any other part of my life. I lived first-hand through the violence caused by diversity. I was brought to the Alt-Right before it had a singular name, beyond disparate publications like American Renaissance or Occidental Dissent. This is why I do not mind risking my personal future by having my face and identity out in the open. However seeing the movement damaged in such a way, and losing the ability to work toward it’s furtherance is a fate I simply cannot abide.

None of the personal fallout since NPI has bothered me on any deep level, even my own Jewish father seeing my face on MSNBC giving the Roman salute caused me little concern. It was not until Ramzpaul called me a false-flagger that I was truly vexed. I cannot begin to process someone I respect so deeply thinking this of me. I understand though, it is easier to write it off as such than to address the underlying issues that led to this course of events, especially considering my parentage.

Myself and the other attendee in this video Paul posted were trying to play identity politics back at the Antifa members by using their own victim hierarchy against them. As someone personally to the right of many others on the JQ, from personal experiences around Jews, I understand this reaction completely. Still, I openly defended our ideals and promoted our non-violent methods in another video, and have written extensively on behalf of the movement. The other attendee has done the same, and never threw up a Roman salute, neither with Tila Tequila, nor in the conference following Spencer’s speech.

Is Richard Spencer A Good Face For The Alt-Right?

Comments at Alternative Right:

* Spencer was ‘larping’.

He gave a very good speech, and he trolled the media at the end with ‘Hail Victory’.

Media say Alt Right is ‘neo-nazi’, so he played the part. But ‘Hail’ salutes have a long pedigree in European history. It’s not only a nazi thing.

There is much more to him, and the speech speaks for itself. It was not a mindless neo-nazi speech.

Another thing. Spencer isn’t about diplomacy. He will never be in the power structure.

He wants to play a vanguard role, and that is always dangerous and edgy because you have to look beyond what is permissible.

Also, Spencer knows the value of notoriety. If he’d just made the speech, it would have been ignored. But because of his salute, he got the attention, and more people will be aware of NPI and the speech he gave.

Trump and Bannon need to distance themselves from Spencer, but we need people like Spencer to say what cannot be said.

And if media are okay with self-professed communists like Cornel West and Van Jones making regular appearances on TV, then they have no moral credibility in bitching about ‘extremism’ on the Right.

Comments at Steve Sailer:

* 1) You don’t know what’s good for Trump. Maybe Spencer helps by pushing the Overton window, or by showing people how a “real Nazi” looks like, or whatever. I would’ve thought the alt right memes often hurt Trump, but maybe they didn’t.

2) You need to criticize Trump to keep him in the line. Bannon is totally delusional in that he thinks Trump should reach out to blacks and then he’ll get 40% of the black vote. That’s outright idiotic. Also, Trump has already thanked his black and Hispanic and minority supporters. Who didn’t vote for him in high numbers. He’s yet to thank his white supporters who were the vast majority of his supporters.

Trump is probably well to the left of Steve, and he’s not really trying to implement the Sailer Strategy.

So he needs to be watched, and especially now that he’s won, we shouldn’t be attacking people to the right of him for using whatever publicity lifeline the media is giving them. It’s not going to hurt Trump’s election chances over 200 weeks from now.

In Hungary, Orbán was helped by Jobbik in a similar situation. Jobbik grew out of nowhere, in large part due to similar media tactics – the leftists kept talking about how Orbán “enabled the far right” or how “there was now a far right danger”, and of course Jobbik played into leftists’ hands by creating a clown “paramilitary” organization complete with a black uniform and initially maybe forty “soldiers”. But in the end Orbán simply positioned himself as a centrist between the fringe extremist left-liberals and the fringe extreme right Jobbik.

Trump can now point his fingers at Spencer as a real white nationalist, and paint himself as a centrist. Until Spencer, Bannon was the most far right person imaginable (and in the White House, to boot), but now it’s Spencer, which makes Bannon a moderate or even center-right.

Besides, if there’s a movement to the right of Bannon, it keeps Trump on his toes, because whatever he’s saying, he might think this Spencer might have some effect, and he might need the votes of those who might listen to him. Jobbik probably helped focus Orbán’s thoughts a bit on some important questions.

* While I agree that Trump shouldn’t play the press’s “will you denounce him?” game (they want him to denounce everyone to the right of Bernie Sanders), no good can come of Spencer. Guys who march around saying Heil and giving stiff arm salutes are never going to be a mainstream force in American politics – they are just going to be punching bags for the left who will do their best to tar Trump with his nonsense. Bannon has it right – what we need are American nationalists, not white nationalists.

As for your other points, please give the man a chance. He hasn’t even taken office yet and everything he has said and done so far and every appointment he has made are a million times better than what Hillary and Obama had to offer.

Blacks are not permanently wedded to the Democrat Party. They’ve been strongly bonded since Johnson won them over with the Civil Rights Act and food stamps, etc. but the same forces that have pried blue collar whites away from the Democrats could do the same for blacks. Kanye West has been praising Trump. Some significant % of blacks could begin to see that the globalists have been tossing them the snouts and trotters and eating high off the hog themselves.

* here’s a good summary of the take of T A Frank, a liberal journalist at Vanity Fair, on the rise of Trump, and its connection to the immigration issue.

It demonstrates among other things how it is possible to support one partisan side while seeing the merits in the arguments of the other side. This is truly a lost art among the vast horde of contemporary journalists; indeed, worse yet, it is an art they now actively despise.

One of the most discouraging things about this election, both before and now after, is how completely journalists have turned themselves over to unchecked partisan hackery. If a journalist has no basic interest in the truth, there will be no useful facts or worthwhile insights to be gleaned in their works. I now find myself virtually never reading The NY Times or the New Yorker when the subject is remotely connected to politics. Their product really does make you dumber than before.

* For years now I’ve noticed the constant caricaturing of segments of the white population in movies and television. The hatred just never stops.

* Spencer is extraordinarily brilliant and, at 38, is at the perfect age to ride the rising wave of pro-white identity politics. He will be 46 in 2024, the perfect age to run for president (assuming the republic survives that long and that he doesn’t try to run against Trump or whomever in 2020). I can honestly see him being our next president. Or whatever we call our leader in the post-republic era.

* It’s hard for people to wrap their heads around how immigration has closed off a lot of geographic opportunities for Americans who want to make something of themselves even if their relatives aren’t going anywhere in life.

* This is a travesty. I don’t know why Richard Spencer is getting all this attention all of the sudden when there is no connection between him and Trump, other than he and his friends like to root for trump on twitter. He likes to say he is the brains behind trump: absolutely not. It’s clear “Adios America” provided the intellectual impetus behind the Trump campaign, making immigration Trump’s signature issue for proving how corrupt/incompetent elites are. I don’t see any profiles of Ann, especially since her ideas are (somewhat) in the overton window. I’ve seen like 10 profiles of Spencer so far, and he’s getting all these interviews. And it’s clear who Coulter is inspired by. I don’t see a lot of reflection or intellectual examination of the Trump phenonmenon in the MSM: it’s just “look there’s a racist”! …

* Terms like ‘white supremacist’ and ‘white nationalist’ miss the point.

It’s really about White Differencist.

All races are different and superior and inferior in different ways.

When it comes to skin cancer under the sun, blacks are superior and whites inferior.

When it comes to digesting milk, whites are superior to blacks and Asians.

When it comes to running and fighting, blacks are superior to whites.

When it comes to scientific reasoning, whites are superior to blacks.

So, it’s all about Racial Differencism.

* Progs bitch about White Privilege, but the real problem all over the world is Globalist Privilege.

It’s a new way of exclusion and privilege that favors the elites of all groups at expense of masses of all groups.

Globalist Privilege is neo-aristocratism of the rich, smart, and/or well-connected.

* At a nfl game in Mexico city, Mexican fans chanted anti gay slurs and shined a green laser at the Houston Texans qb during the game to distract him. I guess this is the sort of vibrant diversity that the open borders SJW types want for America.

* White identity politics did not end with Trump’s election, although it certainly did facilitate it. If “we” need American nationalists and not white nationalists, then logically “we” also don’t need Zionists right? (This is an argument I’d prefer not to make btw.)

I would expect Trump to disavow anyone making saying Seig Heil etc but it should be tied to specific individuals and group. The alt-right is a very broad brush. And I would argue that in the scheme of things, alt-right < WN < WS in terms of repugnance. And WN is not particularly repugnant. What is repugnant about the 14 words?

National Politico Editor RESIGNS After Publishing Home Addresses Of Alt-Right Icon Richard Spencer, Advocating For ‘Baseball Bats’

Michael Hirsh tweets: “I think it’s good that neo-Nazi Richard Spencer is moving to Washington. It’s important that we know where he lives.”

Daily Caller:

National editor at Politico Michael Hirsh resigned after publishing the home addresses of alt-right figurehead Richard Spencer Tuesday morning and advocating for serious violence.

Politico confirmed his resignation following requests for comment from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Stop whining about Richard B. Spencer, Nazi, and exercise your rights as decent Americans,” Hirsh wrote in a public Facebook post. “Here are his two addresses.”

hirshredacted

“These posts were clearly outside the bounds of acceptable discourse, and POLITICO editors regard them as a serious lapse of newsroom standards,” Politico Editor-In-Chief John Harris and Editor Carrie Budoff Brown told TheDCNF. “They crossed a line in ways that the publication will not defend, and editors are taking steps to ensure that such a lapse does not occur again.”

While Hirsh’s initial post could have been charitably interpreted to imply advocacy of a non-violent protest outside of Spencer’s home or other similar non-violent actions, a subsequent question and answer clarified Hirsh’s intentions.

“Completely agree we should mobilize against his hateful ideas, but what does knowing his home addresses do?” asked Doug Widmann, Harvard Law graduate and senior vice president at the at The D. E. Shaw Group. “Send a letter? Confront him in person? Seems like counter-speech is the main thing we can do. You can call it “whining” but I’m not sure that’s fair or constructive. Side note: Apparently the GSA-owned Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in DC felt obligated to host his organization’s event because it can’t discriminate against speech under the First Amendment, so there’s that problem, too.”

Hirsh responded in an unhinged manner: “I wasn’t thinking of a fucking letter, Doug. He lives part of the time next door to me in Arlington. Our grandfathers brought baseball bats to Bund meetings. Want to join me?”

Perhaps knowing it wasn’t such a good idea to advocate openly for serious violence against Spencer in a public format, Hirsh deleted the post, but not before TheDCNF grabbed a screenshot.

According to Wikipedia: “Michael Hirsh is the national editor for Politico. He is the former foreign editor and chief diplomatic correspondent for Newsweek. He was a member of JournoList. He is a lecturer and has appeared numerous times as a commentator on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, National Public Radio, and is a frequent guest of The Young Turks, a streaming internet political talk show. In addition to Newsweek, he has also written for Foreign Affairs, Harper’s, and Washington Monthly. Hirsh was co-winner of the Overseas Press Club award for best magazine reporting from abroad in 2001 for “prescience in identifying the al Qaeda threat half a year before the September 11 attacks” and for Newsweek’s coverage of the war on terror, which also won a National Magazine Award. He lives in Washington, D.C.”

When you put an interracial gay couple in every episode of Black Mirror, I feel like my sons won’t be able to find their way in life.

How could the Nazis take down Weimer without being so nazi-like? Perhaps mutual dialogue with sharing of feelings facilitated by a Freudian analyst?

We need Hamilton, the musical: but with all Jews.

With their pro gay propaganda, were they really surprised the Volk turned on them?

So… how could the Nazis have effectively warded off the decadence… less violently, less nazi-like?

How can we make the critique of Weimar without becoming worse than Weimar?

How do we win the war against Hollywood & the lugenpresse without becoming Nazis?

Perhaps if Hitler and the Nazis practiced the Alexander Technique, they would have felt less need for committing genocide.

It’s a shame that Hitler wasn’t in touch with his feelings.

I think Al Anon might have been the perfect program for Nazis seeking recovery.

How could the Nazis and Weimer have pursued a win-win solution? How can the Alt Right and Hollywood win win? Let’s all be winners.

The Good Jews

Here’s a discussion at The Right Stuff:

* List of “Good” Jews:
I keep a list of Paleoconservative leaning Jews: Paul Gottfried, Murray Rothbard, Lawrence Auster, Mencius Moldbug/Curtis Yarvin, Theodore Dalrymple/Anthony Daniels, Robert Weissberg, Ron Unz, David Cole, Luke Ford, David Gordon, Samuel Goldman, David Friedman, Walter Block, Bryan Caplan, Roy Cohn, Michael H. Hart, Daniel Lapin, Judah P Benjamin, Andrew Breitbart, Ben Shapiro (before Trump), Ilana Mercer, The Truth Will Live. Dr. Alfred Lilienthal, Tony Judt, John Meerscheimer, Gerald Kaufman, James Howard Kunstler, Carl Bernstein, Miko Peled, William D. Rubinstein (University of Wales-Aberystwyth), Seymour Hersch, Brother Nathanael Kapner, Dennis Prager, Alan Sabrosky, Philip Weiss/Adam Horowitz, Norman Finkelstein, Henry Makow, Max Blumenthal, Matt Drudge, Aaron Russo, Daniel Elsberg, Paul Eisen, Israel Shamir, Edwin Rubenstein, Jeff Blankfort, Professor Oren Ben-Dor, Michael Lerner (Tikkun), Philip Weiss, Lloyd Cohen (law professor who filed a federal civil rights complaint alleging racial discrimination in admission), Bernard Lazare, Gilad Atzmon, Sever Plocker, Kenneth Roth (Human Rights Watch), Jay Hyatt (Jewamongyou blog), Joseph Burg (Ginzburg), Victor Ostrovsky, Mark Levin (maybe on occasion); Byron Roth, Richard Herrnstein, Arthur Jensen, and Hans Eysenck are Jews that I hold in very high regard. (They are all famous racial hereditarians who wrote about IQ and the like.)

* If everyone has their own “list”. Then we will end up with millions of “honoraries”. It’s a risky game to play.

If Jews are not white, then Jews have no right to talk on behalf of white people

Friend: I just got a call from my mom and she was watching the news and they were showing people doing the straight armed salute and she was all freaked out

Then there was an Orthodox Jew there, an Israeli, at NPI. He was interviewed on Red Ice.
Then there was Alex Goldstein from the Stark Truth and his sister and they are half.

And then this guy hugh who was in that photo that was floating around and he is half
This is his blog: https://colonycollapse.wordpress.com

Alex Von Goldstein is hilarious. He was doing all these impressions of everyone and they were so spot on.

Luke: I’ve never been so happy in my life

Friend: About what? Trump winning? The problem is they still control all the institutions.

I’m just worried people will get turned off by the Nazi references at NPI.

Luke: Only Germans can be Nazis, anyone can be national socialist, but only Germans can be nazis. At shul, “But that’s like the nazis” is usually the first argument against anything I propose to give goyim the same ethno-nationalism that Jews enjoy.

Friend: I do think if most people on the right who voted for trump heard what Spencer or Taylor said they would likely agree. Right? I mean I agreed with everything Taylor said the first time I heard him speak.

Luke: Objectively, there are no good guys or bad guys in the universe. Nazis are not superior or inferior to Jews unless you have faith in some transcendent source of morality such as God and Torah. The world is composed of different forms of life competing for survival. Faith is subjective. It’s wonderful but often prevents an objective view of the world.

Friend: Is fairness objectively good though? Because we all know who plays fair, even if we know it’s not necessarily a great evolutionary strategy Do you think that the media is giving Richard Spencer all this attention because he’s more ridiculous than Taylor? Like his approach? I’ve been thinking about it all night. I just get nervous when my mother, a race realist who voted for trump calls me freaking out about neo Nazis. Can you imagine what a more typical Jewish reaction to that would be?

Luke: It’s generational. We can’t worry about what old people think. Young people are more transgressive, they get the Nazi humor. Richard Spencer and Jared Taylor work for the same cause. They are white advocates. Richard does more newsworthy things. He’s younger. He’s not ridiculous. He’s a mighty warrior for his people. Richard and Jared are like Theodore Herzl. They’re promoting white zionism.

Friend: My friend said she got teary eyed when she watched Richard Spencer’s speech. So I guess what is endearing and heartwarming to one person is the Holocaust to someone else. It’s another Shoah! So why are so many whites opposed to their own interests then?

Luke: Just like birds in nature tricked to raise others. They’ve been cuckolded to think that they don’t have group interests.

Trump Today

A friend says: There are three things of particular note today.

The first is that Hawaii’s representative, Democrat Tulsi Gabbard (one of the prettiest members of Congress) met with Trump today at Trump’s invitation. She did not refuse the invitation. She wrote about it in what appears to be a press release, but may be her own words today.

She said she went for the purpose of urging Trump not to listen to the neo cons but to keep the U.S. out of Syria. This is tremendously important as she is a respected Democrat (who is also a major in the Hawaii National Guard who served in Iraq). Her being willingness to meet with Trump because she and he have common ground regarding U.S. foreign interventions, is, as they say, cause for cautious optimism. This will encourage other like minded Democrats to do the same and be a warning to neo cons that if they try to seize the initiative in the Trump administration, they can be marginalized, because Trump will have the backing of sufficient Democrats to offset the neo cons.

The second is floating (actually more than floating) Kris Kobach’s name as director of Homeland Security. He met with Trump today and brought with him plans to reintroduce the sort of screening for potential terrorists that was imposed in 2002. Kobach is very smart and is a hardliner on immigration issues. This has to be encouraging news (unless it turns out to not be the case) for those who think that the nations security require greater vigilance toward Muslims, especially Muslims who come here as immigrants or visitors, those who want our immigration laws enforced for reasons ranging from wanting to uphold the rule of law to those who don’t like the cultural changes made when large number of immigrants come here.

The third is Trump’s off the record meeting with members of the press. The anchors and heads of the Networks and other top executives were at the meeting. It was supposed to be off the record but word has leaked that Trump called the meeting to dress them down and call them liars. This is interesting for two reasons. Yesterday Trump met with Ari Emanual (Rahm’s brother ) who is Trump’s agent for the Apprentice and its spin offs. Since Emanual is quite the power broker in Hollywood which was mostly strongly and vocally opposed to Trump, some may have mistakenly thought this was an overture to get back into Hollywood’s better graces. It looks to me that Trump has taken the position that the main stream press is dying and that he can go over the heads of the press through social media and outlets like Breitbart. Perhaps Steve Bannon advised Trump on this approach. The press doesn’t like being made irrelevant, although in this case they deserve and one can hardly blame Trump as viewing the press collectively (a few sympathetic persons, notwithstanding) as the enemy.

The press may try to take a tough collective line against Trump, but he holds all the cards. If they don’t cooperate with him he can ignore, and that will cost them beaucoup bucks since television (both Cable and Network) news operations bring in much more revenue than they cost to produce. Frankly, without a mea culpa from the press, not that they missed the Trump phenomenon, but admitting they actually advocated unfairly against him and did not fairly cover his substantive policy proposals and in doing so abdicated their responsibilities, along with a commitment to more fairly report the news without favoring one political party or one political position over another, Trump may refuse to have anything to do with them, feeding them news releases and holding interviews only with his favorites. If anyone one on his staff leaks to the press, Trump should fire them immediately. Eventually the press will have to come around. However, if they knuckle under to Trump, even if this is by doing relatively objective reporting, they lose their reputation with Democrats and liberals.

The issue with the Press will be a fun one to watch shake out.

What Trump Protesters Should Consider

Jack* wrote this ten days ago:

Much of what Donald Trump proposed as a candidate should be embraced by the protesters. Trump is not a conventional republican. He campaigned on maintaining and strengthening the social safety net programs of social security and medicare. Although he did run against the Affordable Care Act, he promised to maintain the popular provisions of preventing Insurance Companies from denying coverage to persons with pre existing conditions an also to allow
parents to insure their children up through age 26. He ran on a program of reducing tensions with Russia and supporting them in their efforts on behalf of Assad to defeat Syrian rebels which include components of Sunni/Wahabi fundamentalists including Isis. He has proposed a one trillion dollar stimulus program. And at various times has said he would raise taxes on the Investment Bankers that are at the apex of a financialized economy, while promoting a manufacturing economy that employs workers and produces goods.

He has promised to renegotiate trade deals so they are more favorable to workers in the United States. He wants to enforce existing immigration laws and enact policies that will evaluate immigrants in terms of which ones provide the greatest benefit to the United States as a whole. When Bernie Sanders was interviewed by Ezra Klein, Sanders pointed out that refusal to enforce immigration laws is bad for workers and was supported by the Koch Brothers.

All of these proposals should appeal to the protesters as they are more progressive and liberal than policies espoused by Hillary Clinton (except that Hillary Clinton wanted to grant those who had entered the country illegally, an opportunity to remain.)

To enact constitutional amendments 3/4 of the state legislatures have to support it. Right now the Republicans control all but 17 and of those 17, in four of them the Republicans already control at least one house of the legislature. If they win control of those four and one more they will be in a position to approve new constitutional amendments, amendments that surely progressives dislike.

Protesters should realize they are playing with fire. It is fine to march and denounce Trump although by calling him an extremist, it reveals that they are partisans and not principled. Any acts that disrupt the everyday lives of people, such as blocking highways, breaking windows, harassing persons not supportive of the rallies, only turns off the very persons they are trying to reach and persuade, and even worse it risks pushing Trump into the arms of traditional Republicans. The last thing the protesters should want is for Trump to make common cause with Paul Ryan to impose Ryan’s budget, or with the Neo Conservative war mongers to continue America’s foreign interventions in support of our “Empire.” It also appears the protests are counterproductive as Trump’s approval ratings have risen from 37 to 46 percent since the election and his unfavorability ratings have dropped from 61 to 46 percent. 65% of Democrats and most of the protesters say they want the Democratic minority to act toward Trump as the Republican minority acted toward Obama, as a monolithic bloc aimed at thwarting anything Obama wanted to do. As it was Congress passed the affordable care act without any Republican votes and barely squeezed out approval of a stimulus package, that instead of creating jobs by repairing infrastructure, was doled out to states that used the funds to
close budget holes and to pay employees in the public sector; sort of disguised bribery to to keep them voting for the guy who allowed them to collect bonuses and not have to accept pay cuts. But in his first two years when he had a Democratic House and Senate, Obama didn’t offer programs that fit within the Republicans’ ideology or its politics.

Some of Trump’s proposals do. In fact, some of his proposals likely, will face Republican opposition and cannot be passed without Democratic support. If Democrats think this will help their chances in the 2018 midterms, then perhaps they should stick with a plan of obstruction, even if it would be more in keeping with their principles to support them. But Democrats are defending 25 Senate seats in 2018, many of them in states where Trump handily defeated Clinton. Do the protesters want to lose those as well?

Both Schumer and Sanders have indicated that they will work with Trump on proposals that they favor. This puts them as realists, but also at odds with the Democrats as a whole. It also undermines the Trump equals Hitler argument as neither of them would try to help a Hitler pass any legislation.

Further, the Republicans have not changed the senate rules to do away with the filibuster (which requires 60 votes for cloture) and which allows the minority party if it has at least 41 votes to exert some leverage on legislation. However, the senate under the Democrats did vote to bar the filibuster for lower court and other office appointment confirmations. If the Democrats take an obstructionist tack in the Senate, the Republicans may eliminate it entirely.

The unintended consequences for the protesters will almost surely make a President Trump govern more conservatively than he would otherwise. The protests may push the Republican majority in the Senate past 60 so that they wouldn’t even have to bar the filibuster to enact conservative legislation or confirm conservative appointees and it may result in tipping enough state legislatures Republican so that some conservative ideas become enshrined in the
Constitution.

Ben Shapiro Vs The Alt-Right

Ben Shapiro says: “They want to destroy the Republican Party from within and take it over. They want the constitutional right destroyed. They actually hate the constitutional right more than they hate the left. They don’t actually hate the left. They think the left is wrong about racism but they don’t object to big government that takes care of people; rather, they think you should have special privileges if you’re of European descent. They want what they call “Christendom” protected from foreign bodies.”

Vox Day replies:

He’s also lying. Four times in six sentences.

We don’t want the constitutional right destroyed. We want them to come to their senses, stop relying on the magic words “muh Constitution”, and start defending the posterity that the Constitution was written to defend.
We don’t actually hate the constitutional right. We think they are misguided, outdated, and naive, but we don’t hate them. We expect them to join us one day.
We hate the Left. We know they will never join us and we look forward to relegating them to the ash heap of history. Therefore, we hate them more than the constitutional right, whom we don’t hate.
We do actually hate the Left.
And while many of us would prefer small government, we recognize that if we do not stop and reverse the invasion, the small government vs large government debate will be rendered moot, because all of the invading foreign bodies prefer large government.
