ZipFizz Energy Drink®

I replied that I was interested. They then asked me:

Thanks for your response. It is very easy and simple, no application fees required, Here’s

the basic premise of the “paid to drive” concept: ZipFizz Energy Drink® seeks people,

regular citizens, professional drivers to go about their normal routine as they usually

do, only with a big advert for “ZipFizz Energy Drink®” plastered on your car. The ads are

typically vinyl decals, also known as “auto wraps,”that almost seem to be painted on the

vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car’s exterior surface.

Don’t Have a Car?
If you don’t have a car, you can also participate if you have a bike.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy?
Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colourful eye-catching and

attract lots of attention. Plus, it’s a form of advertising with a captive

audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic can’t avoid seeing the wrapped car

alongside them. This program will last for 3 months and the minimum you can participate is

a month.

What is the Contract Duration?
Once the wrap has been installed, minimum term is 2 weeks and maximum is 12 weeks.

Would the wrap/decal damage the paint of my car?
The decal doesn’t damage the paint of car and will be removed by our representative once

the contract expires or at anytime you want to unsubscribe. We will be responsible for installation and removal of the wrap.

Does it cover the whole car?
No, the decal is only installed in the car trunk and doors.

You will be compensated with $300.00 per week which is essentially a “rental”payment for

letting our company use the space and no fee is required from you. ZipFizz Energy Drink® shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car. You will receive an upfront payment of $300.00 in form of check via courier service for accepting to carry this advert on your car.

It is very easy and simple no application fees required. Get back with the following

details if you are interested in this offer.

State:
Zip code:
Do you have a driver’s license?
Phone Number(s) mobile and home :

We shall be contacting you as soon as we receive this information.

Best Regards,

I sent in that info like a chump and then Googled the matter and found this.

A few minutes after I replied with my phone number, I saw there was a voicemail message for me on my Blackberry Z10. I hit the voicemail button and got a message that my phone function no longer worked. I upgraded its software last night. The upgrade failed multiple times but seemed to take at the end. After an hour with customer service, we’ve wiped my phone and it has yet to boot up two hours later.

POSTSCRIPT. I got the phone fixed a day later.

Next email:

Hello Luke,

This is to inform you that adequate arrangements have been made for your car to be wrapped. Payment($2500.00) to cover the cost of wrap has been processed and approved. You would receive the payment anytime next week so i urge you to keep “peeled” eyes on your mail.

You are to black out your account number on the deposit slip before it’s sent over to us. Payment for subsequent weeks will be sent out and will be delivered subsequently.

The decal company have graphic artists nationwide who also have garages where the wrap can be done but you can choose to have it done at your residence as it is not totally mandatory to take it to the garage within your proximity.. A graphic artist will be assigned in your State to get the wrap done. The remaining funds should be paid to the decal company, so on receiving it, they would send down the wrap installer/brander along with the wrap to get the wrap done.

As soon as the cash is out you are to deduct $300.00 which is your upfront payment and forward the balance to the graphic artist head office that will be wrapping the decal on your vehicle via Money Gram Transfer and they will be responsible for removing the decal when the program is completed. Please visit www.moneygram.com to check agent location close to you and make transfer through them. Does America Have A National Interest In Israel?

Do you think the US has a national interest in Israel in proportion to our aid and involvement with Israel? If not, why do you think the USA is so involved in Israel? Do you think it is the Israel lobby and we should discuss this sort of thing publicly? I am a convert to Judaism and Israel to me is as important as God and Torah. I am greatly concerned with Israel’s well-being (as I am with America’s, sometimes I am more concerned about one than the other, it varies, just as my relations with friends and family varies). I’m just wondering why Israel should be so important to Americans who are not Jewish?

A fellow convert tells me:

I don’t really think it’s a scam. I think the goyim concerned with Israel are for the most part evangelicals who, in a sense, believe they’re scamming us since they’re concern is motivated by end days scenarios. Don’t you think? Now, the question of the US’s political involvement is an interesting one. I think, though, that it’s due not really to Jewish lobbying but to evangelical influence combined with Jewish lobbying.

I don’t think Americans who aren’t Jewish or religiously Christian care about Israel. I really don’t. Or, if they did care, they are caring less and less these days.

I just remember my upbringing–we were evangelicals who were obsessed with Israel and even Jews to a certain degree. I remember when I was seven years old or something like that–the news was on and I heard one of my parents say something about how the day America does not stand with Israel is the day we will be destroyed. And I’ve heard these sentiments in Christian communities. It’s weird, but, we’ll take it, right?

Jim* says: “Michael Oren is a brilliant man, who understands the United States well, and served Israel well as Ambassador here. However, he is building a case to justify the relationship; any objectivity is a pretense. The Pollard case is a good example. The Israelis had no problem stealing the most important classified information and then trading it to the Soviets when it served Israel’s interest. Or you can see how the Israelis are suspected of selling a Lavi prototype to China with advanced American avionics. Oren doesn’t mention these incidents.”

Jeff* says: “What politician’s fear most is losing elections. What put that fear into American politicians more than anything was the defeat of Republican Illinois Senator Charles Percy in 1984. At the time, it was reported that Michael Goland, donated huge sums to Paul Simon to help him defeat Percy. Other Congressman, including Illinois representative, Paul Findley (later the author of a book, “They dare to speak out,” about how the Israel Lobby would target opponents of Israel) and San Mateo Congressman Paul “Pete” McCloskey were tarred as anti-semites because of their criticism of Israeli policies. Cynthia McKinney of Georgia, although a nut, was singled out by AIPAC because of her positions on Israel. Basically any politician who speaks out against Israeli policy, or shows sympathy (other than lip service) to Palestinians draws the wrath of AIPAC, Saban, Adelson, or any number of wealthy Jews who either individually or through their PACS will try to defeat them. Since for most politicians, opposing Israel is not something their constituents care one way or another about, even if on principle they oppose either specific Israeli policies, or U.S. government policies toward Israel they would rather stay in office and not make this the defining issue that might cost them their seats.”

Wow, what an inspiring story! Who says one man can’t make a difference? Sometimes the ends do justify the means. Jews are smart people, no SDA would be this canny.

“He is probably the most influential contributor that no one has heard of. His impact is felt to this day. I don’t doubt that AIPAC used his tactics to their advantage in subsequent races.”

Jack* says:

I actually don’t see how U.S. relationship with Israel serves America’s interests at all, and don’t see how it has since the Cold War ended. And now that the US will soon exceed Saudi Arabia in oil production, one more of the old arguments for the relationship (Israel is America’s “battleship” in the Middle East, protecting our oil supply) is DOA. I have a strong attachment to Israel and would probably not want to live on in a world in which Israel’s existence had been ended militarily, but that doesn’t help me gin up any objective reason why non-Jewish Americans are obligated to give a damn.

A lot of them do, though. I don’t know if you’ve had a lot of experience with American evangelical Christian zeal for Israel, but it’s intense, widespread, and as a phenomenon can’t be explained by Jewish influence in the press, academia or other American institutions. It’s genuinely a Christian thing, even if Jews had wanted to make it happen they couldn’t have conceived of it. So I’d say that at this point the relationship between US and Israel is function of both Jewish influence and Evangelical Christian influence on American political life. Not exactly a scam on the goyim, but also not an expression of any general American interest.

A Torah Reason For Taking Alexander Technique Lessons

I use Grammarly’s online grammar check because it is hard to respect yourself if you use bad grammar. And others will think you are an idiot. When I get an email from a stranger that is filled with spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors, I’m much less likely to respond to it than when I get a correctly formatted letter.

Rabbi Zelig Pliskin writes in Gateway to Happiness (I keep this book in my car and read a sentence or two several times a day): “A young student walking with his shoulders stopped passed in front of his house. [Rabbi Chayim Mordechai Katz] called the student over and admonished him to walk straight. The Rosh Hayeshiva stressed that a person’s posture reveals his self-concept, and someone studying Torah should demonstrate his appreciation of the great value of what he is engaged in.”

This book is filled with such wisdom. The point above is excellent. It takes strength to be good. You can’t be blown around by the winds of popularity. You have to stand for something. For a Jew who observes the Torah, he’s going to have to make dozens of actions each day that run contrary to contemporary trends. He’s going to have to thank God before drinking a glass of water and eating an apple and upon awakening and going to bed. His every deed, ideally, should be governed by God’s immutable moral law.

How you carry yourself reflects how you think about yourself. You can’t be all stiff and slumped and deformed and at the same time think highly of yourself. People who are awkward in their bodies tend to be awkward in their thinking and in their interactions with others. People who are smooth in their bodies tend to be smooth in their thinking and in their interactions with others. People who glide through life with great poise tend to be equally poised in their thinking and in their interactions with others.

Do You Tire Of Fighting?

* I know lawyers who get tired of fighting all the time at work and want to get into mediation instead. I see the law profession, like all professions, profoundly shaping personalities. People who fight all day at work as lawyers do often fight over little things during their off-hours as well and I feel like I’m a defendant in a law court when I deal with them. I’m curious how your profession has shaped your personality. For instance, by choosing the profession of writer, I spend a lot more time thinking about my feelings, memories and motivations than I would have if I had become an economics professor as I earlier intended.

* My mind is a steel trap when it comes to what people owe me, but it is a sieve when it comes to what I owe others.

* Wife to her husband (a friend of mine): “You don’t have any friends.”
Husband: “I have lots of friends.”
Wife: “They’re all men.”
Husband: “If I had a female friend, I’d be ****ing her.”

* I saw a friend from childhood Friday who told me to wait until the second date before I said, “Politicial opinions for 99% of women are just fashion statements.” He thought it was a demeaning statement about women. I thought it just meant that our brains are different. Men are more prone to abstract thought and are better at things like spatial thinking and parallel parking. Women are better at reality, raising kids, adapting…

* “Each individual adopts a set of values which, if truly absolute in the world–so ordained by some almighty force–would make not that individual but his group . . . the best of all possible groups, the best of all inner circles.” (Tom Wolfe) I grew up the son of a theologian and was taught that theology was the greatest thing in life. I became a marathoner and learned that running was the greatest thing in life. I moved on to journalism and learned that scoops were the greatest thing in life. I moved on to girls and learned that girls were the greatest thing in life. I converted to Judaism and learned that God’s law was the greatest thing in life. “Act so that if the maxim became a universal law for all rational beings, your group must be seen as best.”

* “The BA is the work of the devil. We have made this meaningless degree the badge of first-class citizenship.” (Charles Murray)

* A devastating book (The Commission: WHAT WE DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT 9/11) that opened my mind and angered me about President Bush’s incompetence. Richard Clarke was on the side of the angels and I didn’t see it at the time because I was such a partisan Republican. Then George W. Bush destroyed the Republican party and I had to rethink some things.

* As people become more religious, they tend to get more boring (if the religion focuses outside of this world). There’s this “Christian glaze” that many born agains get.

* A friend was telling me about going to a Jewish singles event hosted by a female Reform rabbi about 30 years ago in Malibu and Ron Jeremy shows up with some floozy (Traci Lords?) and word gets around and the rabbi tells him he has to leave. And Ron holds out this big cake he bought at Canters Deli and says, “But I brought a cake!” And the rabbi makes him leave.

I was on a date at Jerry’s Deli around 1 am Sunday morning in July of 2000 with the love of my life and as we’re walking out, I hear a voice yelling my name. It’s Ron Jeremy. My date waits to be introduced but I don’t introduce her so she goes to the bathroom and we meet up later outside and she asks why I didn’t introduce her and I said, ‘He’s kinda sleazy.” It was own shame over my life that I wanted to escape by blaming Ron.

I last saw Ron in 2011 at a premiere at Warner Brothers. He played Hava Nagila on his harmonica for me.

My Magical Movie Dream

I just had this magical dream, it was like a movie. Along with friends and family, I travel to a remote snowy mountain in Canada where we have a cabin. As soon as we get there, I plug in my laptop and online. We have high speed internet access. I’m checking out my buddy Rick’s Facebook update with video of the humble cabin where he’s staying with his family. It’s Christmas. And by focusing on his update, I am transported to his cabin, which is poor and on the nasty side of the mountain. After chatting with Rick and his family, celebrating the joy of Christmas, I trudge back to civilization and run into my sister and rest up in her warm car. She offers me a ride back to our cabin but I say I’ll walk.

Then I get out to walk 10 miles back to our cabin. I meet a nice girl on the way. We talk. We make love in the snow. She gives me a ride back to my cabin. All my friends and family are there. We’re negotiating the rights with a studio representative to the movie being simultaneously filmed of this weekend and we get the deal. And then the final song, a swelling soundtrack, breaks out, it is to the tune of “Love Hurts” but the lyrics say, “Love shines”, and my new girlfriend and I walk out of the cabin, I have my network deal, and we get into her car and we drive home off the mountain as the credits roll and then I wake up an unholy mess but with deep joy in my soul.

Rabbi: ‘Pedophile Are People Too’

Pacific Jewish Center rabbi Eliyahu Fink argues in this Facebook thread that pedophiles should be allowed to daven in a shul so long as they are watched.

Here are a selection of Rabbi Fink’s posts in this heated discussion: “Why can’t he go to shul until he is locked up?”

“Don’t give him any honors or anything. And keep an eye on him at all times.”

“He doesn’t rape people on the bima. Seriously.”

“You can put a tail on him.”

“I’ve never been to a shul where it’s impossible to keep an eye on someone.”

“The message I send is that if he wants to pray he is entitled. If you go near a child I’ll cut your yatzmach off.”

“It’s a great teaching opportunity. That is a horrible man. Stay away from him.”

“He’s a known entity. He comes in, you watch him.”

“It’s in our control to make sure nothing happens.”

“Just because there are some people who are not serious about sex abuse doesn’t mean we all need to turn into vigilantes.”

“I monitor everyone the entire Shabbos morning.”

“If a person we have a concern about makes a move we have plenty of people watching.”

Mark Horowitz: “Rabbi fink, the notion of keeping an eye on someone in shul is ridiculous. Abuse does not happen during davening. The prob is that children seen a man in shul who looks frum, children start to trust that person. Then one day while walking home from school they see this guy on the street, they recognize him from shul.”

Eliyahu Fink: “Turner showed up at my father’s shul in Monsey. 200 people daven there. He had 400 eyes on him. We were quite safe.”

“Mark Horowitz: I told my son (he was 7 at the time) stay away from that man because he is a terrible person.”

“Pedophiles are people too.”

“Cherem is only as strong as the people enforcing. It’s a voluntary construct.”

“To my modify and clarify my position:

“If it’s possible that the person in question has abused other people in the shul previously, I think that he should not be allowed in under any circumstance.

“If it’s impossible that the person abused anyone in the shul and there are no children, let him pray.

“If there are children and he can be monitored, let him pray and monitor his every move.

“If he cannot be monitored and there are children he should not be allowed in the shul at all.”

“I know more about abuse than anyone should ever have to know.”

“Few things bother me more than the people who think that everyone who has the same data is required to reach the same conclusions.”

The Wolf Of Wall Street

I never remember encountering the attitude that it is fine to screw the wider world so long as you take care of your own until I converted to Judaism. That transition opened up my eyes to tribal thinking where the only thing that matters is taking care of your tribe.

Most Jews I’ve met do care about America, but a significant minority (something like 5% in my experience) do not. They only care about their group.

Never once growing up as a Seventh-Day Adventist did I encounter the idea that it is fine to cheat outsiders but I have repeatedly run into that attitude among a tiny number of Jews.

Jews seem to be at the forefront of the good and the bad things in the world.

Rob Eshman writes:

But, just between us, let’s talk about Belfort-the-Jew — let’s go there. In the movie, you never really understand how someone so gifted can be so morally unmoored. But in his memoir, upon which the movie is based, whenever Belfort refers to his Jewish roots, the diagnosis becomes more apparent.

He is a kid from Long Island. His dad, Max, grew up “in the old Jewish Bronx, in the smoldering economic ashes of the Great Depression.” Belfort didn’t grow up poor by any means, he just wasn’t rich enough. The hole in him wasn’t from poverty, but from desire for acceptance. The “blue-blooded WASPs,” Belfort writes, “viewed me as a young Jewish circus attraction.”

Belfort had a chip on his shoulder the size of a polo pony, and so did everyone he recruited. They were, he writes, “the most savage young Jews anywhere on Long Island: the towns of Jericho and Syosset. It was from out of the very marrow of these two upper-middle-class Jewish ghettos that the bulk of my first hundred Strattonites had come….”

It’s not complicated, really. Poor little Jordan wanted to show those WASPs whose country clubs he couldn’t join that he was smarter, richer, better. What he failed to understand is that just about every Jew, every minority, shares the same impulses. But only a select few decide the only way to help themselves is to hurt others.

Belfort, like Bernie Madoff, is an extreme example. These are guys who feel they have nothing, they are nothing, so they will do anything to acquire everything. They cross a pretty clear line and just keep going.

Aron* emails:

I can’t believe that Eshman who is a smart guy actually believes what he wrote.

Belfort is not old. He was born in 1962 so he is now 51 years old. He is not someone who grew up experiencing snobby wasps rejecting him socially. He grew up in a very Jewish town, in a Jewish area of Jewish Long Island. Are we to believe that a suburban Jewish boy in between 1977 and 1980 (when he was between 15 and 18 years old), was subjected to the sort of discrimination that led to this behavior?

The reality is that Belfort is a sociopathic personality coming of age in an America where the main measure of success is financial achievement. The normal restrictions against the sociopathic urges, a strong moral background (usually grounded in religion), a strong ethical background (sometimes based on a fear of violation of law), or an enlightened self interest that acting in this way is ultimately corrupting to society and destructive to the investors, are easily forgotten in the “boiler room” culture where sociopathic behavior is not only condoned but desired.

Call of the Shofar Materials

Here are some warning signs about Large Group Awareness Training such as Call of the Shofar:

Often people who have been on these courses are told not to say what goes on there because this will spoil the experience for others who might want to do them in the future. Rubbish! This is a means of not revealing what happens on these courses. If it was known, I would suggest that many people would choose not to do them.
Another thing I have seen is that people who have been on such courses are also very vague about them when questioned. This is a Red Flag. Beware! Some people I have spoken to have had problems remembering what happened on these courses.

Danger Signs In Large Group Awareness Training

Often people who have been on these courses are told not to say what goes on there because this will spoil the experience for others who might want to do them in the future. Rubbish! This is a means of not revealing what happens on these courses. If it was known, I would suggest that many people would choose not to do them.
Another thing I have seen is that people who have been on such courses are also very vague about them when questioned. This is a Red Flag. Beware! Some people I have spoken to have had problems remembering what happened on these courses. A number of factors play into this such as confusion, lack of sleep, lack of food, and in some cases (which occur far too often) dissociation. Dissociation happens to people when they are put under extreme stress – this is how the body protects itself from that extreme stress.
The following warnings signs were posted by Chris Mathe, a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology. He has worked as a trainer, facilitator, consultant, executive coach, and senior-level manager for over twenty years. I believe the six points he makes are very useful:
1. Radical change in personality or behavior.
Change is normal with any religious, philosophical, political, or social “conversion,” but the key here is the word “radical.”
Has the person gone from being a quiet introvert to being an outgoing extrovert? Has he or she suddenly begun talking about new ideas or using new words or expressions such as the drift, enlightenment, getting it, holistic, human potential, resonance, transformation, transpersonal, transcendental, life force, etc.
2. Severe depression or anxiety.
These symptoms can be indicators of post traumatic stress disorder, sometimes experienced by participants in New Age seminars.
These disorders can be triggered by negative episodes undergone during sessions of guided imagery or past-life regression often included as part of such seminars.
Both depression and anxiety are often accompanied by an inability to concentrate, chronic distraction, and inappropriate emotional response.
3. Confusion about reality, values, or knowledge.
Since Large Group Awareness Training and Human Potential Seminars are designed to “transform” the way one views and relates to the world, as well as to the tasks at hand, the transformational process can result in a disjuncture between the individual and everything else that makes it difficult to determine what is real, valuable, or true.

The Case For Israel: Democracy’s Outpost

I’m watching on Netflix this 2009 documentary, based on Alan Dershowitz’s 2003 book, The Case for Israel.

I haven’t read Dershowitz’s book, but I know that much of it is “plagiarized from From Time Immemorial, a book by Joan Peters.”

The first 49 minutes of the documentary make sense to me but then it turns when Alex Safian, associate director of CAMERA says: “Not only is Israel singled out for this labeling, for this tarring of it as a terrible human rights oppressor, as the worst human rights oppressor in the world, when you look at what goes on in Arab countries, in Syria for instance, in Saudi Arabia, even worse in Sudan and Darfur, true genocides going on, the idea of singling out Israel is truly surreal.”

The average Syrian IQ is 83, the same as the average Papua New Guinean. Is anyone surprised when Papua New Guineans eat people? No. The world yawns because it has no expectations for Papua New Guineans. Given the average IQ of Syrians, why should the world expect anything from them beyond savagery and incompetence?

The average Saudi IQ is 84. Why would the world expect anything from them beyond savagery and incompetence?

The average IQ in the Sudan is 71. Why would the world expect anything from Sudan beyond savagery and incompetence?

The average Mexican IQ is 87. It’s per capita GNP is around $8,000. Mexico, like Sri Lanka and the Sudan, gets little attention in the news because people have low expectations for Mexicans.

The documentary tries to make the case that if you hold Israel to a different standard, you’re being irrational, but the average IQ of Israelis is 95, with Arabs around 80 and Jews around 110. Jews are extraordinarily accomplished, influential and affluent people, in Israel and around the world, so being fascinated by them is normal and being bored by backward people such as Israel’s neighbors and enemies is also normal.

In matters of art and culture and science, the contributions, such as they are, of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan get no world attention while the contributions of Israelis get great attention. Why? Because Israel makes enormous contributions while these backward countries contribute little to nothing. So an obsession with Israel and a lack of interest in its neighbors and enemies is overwhelmingly rational and not necessarily the result of anti-Jewish bias. On the contrary, it is a compliment to the Jews that the world cares so much about the Jewish state to constantly criticize it.

Gerald Steinberg, Israeli academic, says in the documentary: “Let’s look at the period of the Lebanon War [of 2006]. I don’t think Human Rights Watch did anything for two months except condemn Israel. There were no reports on Sri Lanka even though there were as many people killed in Sri Lankan bombings and attacks as in the Lebanon War. How do they pick their agendas? It can only be explained on the basis of emotion, political obsession, not on the basis of human rights.”

The average Sri Lankan IQ is 79. The world rationally has little interest in and few expectations for people with such low IQs. A score of 79 is just above the retarded level. The world is not terribly interested in the mentally retarded when compared with their interest in high achievers such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, etc. These natural inclinations are not some emotional irrationality nor anti-Jewish animus.

I don’t believe the people saying these stupid things in the documentary are stupid people. I believe they know that what they are saying is stupid but that they are acting deliberately obtuse because they believe that ignoring IQ is in the group interest of Jews because if the goyim realized we were, on average, much smarter than them, they would kill us.

Don* emails: “One thing that is always forgotten about Hitler is that he did not believe Jews were intellectually inferior. (Nazi principles held that Jews were morally degenerate and physically inferior.) He thought that on a fair playing field, they would dominate the professions, business and intellectual positions. His Nuremberg laws and initial anti-semitic actions, were designed to hobble the Jews, force them from these positions and wealth so that Aryans could then occupy them without fear of Jewish competition.”

Dennis Ross: “It is interesting that Israel is always the one being singled out.”

Why is that interesting? Jews are high-achievers with a way of life superior to all alternatives (see the statistics cited on the Jewish way of life in the book Why The Jews?) and with a modicum of freedom, they tend to outstrip other people in most of the important areas of life (income, accomplishment, education, charity, family life). And that’s been true for thousands of years. In essence, the Jews are the master race (using Steve Sailer’s exposition of race as partially inbred extended family, in the case of the Jews, it is a family anyone with self-discipline and a good IQ can join).

To wax poetic for a minute, and to channel my friend Chaim Amalek, “God chose the Jews to be the Master Race of mankind. However, He soon realized that this had cruel consequences for the less intelligent goyim of creation, so to protect them from the depredations of the Jews while still providing free will to one and all, he gave the Jews the Torah (both written and oral) by which they might be fenced in. Rest assured that those Jews who today live on the Torah Corral (like myself) are no threat to the gentle gentiles of the world. It is the secular liberal Jew, with his notions of Marxism, tolerance of the sodomite and the transgendered, creator both of socialism and feminism, who is the mortal enemy of the gentile world. I say this in the hope that when you goyim awake from your deep moral stupor (an increasingly unlikely event) and begin dealing with the Jew problem in your midst, you will leave me alone. I hope this clears everything up.”

How has humanity generally dealt with minorities who’ve excelled majorities? They’ve persecuted and killed them. Israel is not an exception to this pattern.

Fifty nine minutes in is the part of the documentary that jolts me. Alan Dershowitz says: “When you make criticisms that partake of Jewish stereotyping and talking about Jews controlling the media, and Jews controlling politics, and Jews being selfish, that begins to go over some lines.”

So if you make criticisms that “partake of Jewish stereotypes” you are going over some lines? How about if I say that Jews tend to complain more than non-Jews, particularly more than WASPs. Did I cross the line to unacceptable speech? If I point out that Jews such as Michael Milken, Ivan Boesky, and Roland Arnall pioneered and perfected many of the risky financial instruments that have driven our economy over the past 30 years, is that crossing a line? If I say that Jews, because they have a religion and culture centered around law tend to be better than average at lawyering and politics and exercising influence and dealing with laws and working the system, is that crossing a line?

Historian Jonathan Sarna says in the documentary: “I taught in my class the accusations of Henry Ford against the Jews in the 1920s. Henry Ford wrote a series of books, first published as articles, called ‘The International Jew.’ And what is striking about those volumes is that there is nothing which he doesn’t blame on Jews. Contemporary music, which he hated, he blames on Jews. The problems of cities, he blames on Jews. Hollywood? He blames on Jews. Troubles on the American farm, he blames on Jews. Now, in each case, he was able to find, if you look far enough, he found one Jew here and one Jew there to make it look persuasive, but of course historians studying the material today understand that Henry Ford’s International Jew tells you much more about Henry Ford than it tells you about Jews.”

I have not read the works of Henry Ford, but I suspect Jewish influence on contemporary music and Hollywood is far more than “one Jew here and one Jew there”.

As Steve Sailer, a Roman Catholic, wrote:

To quantify the statement that “Jews are a small group, but influential in their areas of concentration,” in 2009, the Atlantic Monthly came up with a list of the top 50 opinion pundits: half are of Jewish background.

Over 1/3rd of the 2009 Forbes 400 are of Jewish background, according to the Jewish Telegraph Agency’s reporter who covers Jewish philanthropy.

Joel Stein of the LA Times found in 2007 that people of Jewish background hold a large majority of the most powerful positions in Hollywood.

This is not to say that influential Jews are at all united in what they favor. On the other hand, it is more or less true that Jews hold something of a veto over what topics are considered appropriate for discussion in the press, Jewish influence itself being the most obvious example of a topic that is off the table in polite society.

If you like or dislike the modern world, it seems to me you would have rational basis to inquire into the Jews for their disproportionate role in creating the modern world. If you are interested in the development of psychiatry, nuclear weapons, Marxism, communism, socialism, the labor movement, the peace and animal rights movement, the white slave trade, feminism, the mass media, pornography, pop music, gangster rap, mass illegal immigration, etc, you’d probably like to see the influence of Jews discussed as openly and rationally as we talk about Christians and Mexicans and Saudis.

Professor Sarna responds to my email inquiry:

If you read Ford’s INTERNATIONAL JEW you will get some sense of his method. My brief remarks were an inadequate summary of the brilliant article by Leo Ribuffo “Henry Ford and International Jew,” American Jewish History 69 (June 1980), 437-477. So far as I know, Ribuffo was not Jewish.

It is, of course, true that Jews have been disproportionately influential in some areas of culture and industry and disproportionately disengaged from others. Why this is so, and the implications of this fact, are certainly legitimate avenues for research. Some of this research has in fact been done (see David Hollinger’s work, for example). I cannot encourage you to believe that Henry Ford’s articles in The International Jew (articles that he did not actually write) were models of such dispassionate and objective scholarship.

A leading Orthodox rabbi tells me: “The question of Jewish influence is fair as is the discussion, however anti-semites will always hear an ‘Elders of Zion’ type of conspiracy, as if all these Jews are working together.”

Israeli ambassador Dan Gillerman says 66 minutes into the documentary: “Iran is the biggest, most vivid real threat to world peace and security.”

If so, how come Iran only has the world’s 31st biggest military budget? How come they’ve had a nuclear program since the 1950s and have yet to build a bomb? How threatening can Iran be when it has an average IQ four points below Mexicans? Muslims are simply too incompetent to be a significant threat to the world. They can only be a nuisance unless we allow large number of them to immigrate into our countries.

Dan Gillerman: “We’ve paid a great price for thinking world leaders [such as Hitler] were crazy and disregarding what they were saying. Had we listened more carefully in the 30s, maybe we could’ve avoided the Holocaust?”

Germany had the world’s second biggest economy prior to WWII. Iran’s economy is the world’s 32nd biggest. Germany had a frightening reputation for waging total war. Iran has a record of gross incompetence in waging war. German average IQ is 102. Iran’s is 84. These are significant differences.

Dan Gillerman: “This man [ Mahmoud Ahmadinejad] denies the Holocaust while diligently preparing the next one.”

Iran is too incompetent to carry out a Holocaust.

Dan Gillerman: “We cannot live with a nuclear Iran.”

Iran has had a nuclear program since the 1950s.

Israel’s Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu: “When you have a crazy ideology bent on world conquest, that fire will soon spread to other peoples and other countries and ultimately to the entire world.”

As Steve Sailer points out, “Muslims, for all their obnoxiousness, are simply too incompetent to be an existential threat to America.”
