Tribes Tend To Have A Different Relationship To Nation States II

When Osama Bin Laden was killed, who did you see on the streets celebrating? Goyim. You didn’t see many Jews nor blacks nor asians nor latinos.

America has historically been a white country, with whites comprising 80-90% of the population. Whites led the fight against the British to found the United States, whites wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and until Barak Obama, all of America’s leading politicians have been white.

When you go to a ballgame and see who sings the Star Spangled Banner with the most fervor, when you look around to see who has tears in their eyes when they look at the American flag, it is usually goyim (whites).

Tribes can demonstrate more loyalty to the nation state than goyim when tribes feel like they need to prove themselves. I believe Jews disproportionately died for Germany in World War I because they were so eager to prove they were good Germans. In general, however, tribes do not have the same relationship to the nation state as goyim. From what I see in America, Jews, blacks, Chinese, latinos etc think primarily about the welfare of their own group before that of the nation. They ask not, what can I do for America but what can America do for my group. For instance, is America’s support for Israel primarily about what is good for America or about what is good for Israel? I think the latter.

If you were to visit Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, you won’t find many blacks and latinos and asians. If you visit Gettysburg and see all the displays and presentations about slavery, you won’t find many blacks and latinos and asians. The people who tend to express the most visceral love of the United States and of its history tend to be white and they tend to vote Republican. The people with more resentments against America tend to vote Democratic.

Remember when Michelle Obama said that the Democratic party nominating her husband for president was the first time she had been proud of her country? I think that was a representative sentiment among blacks. From what I have seen and read, blacks have as much disgust with America as love. Black organizations seem to talk much more about what American can do for blacks than what blacks owe America.

Among latinos, I don’t usually notice much patriotic American fervor. They tend to feel more strongly about their home countries such as Mexico.

Of all the tribes in America, I think Jews are the most pro-America, and for much of their history in this country, their fervor for the country has approached and even exceeded the goyim. Since the 1960s, America has become more tribalistic, and members of tribes have felt increasingly comfortable asserting their tribal identity and displaying less concern for America as a nation.

Does it upset me that tribes don’t have the same loyalty, in general, for America that WASPs do? No. I don’t expect them to. I take it for granted. Not all peoples have the same cognitive ability on average and reverence for your nation and an interest in its history requires the ability for abstract thought and an IQ north of 100. Not all peoples organize themselves the same way and not all peoples evolved under the same circumstances. Whites and asians, for example, evolved in cold northern latitudes, and that required them to cooperate and plan together and to live up to their word or they would have all died out in the harsh climate while for those groups that evolved in more temperate climes, food was easier to obtain and conscientiousness was not as important for survival. So I don’t expect people who evolved out of areas close to the equator to have the same traits as those who evolved in the far north.

Most Ashkenazi Jews worked in white collar professions for the past millenia. No other race in the world is like this. Therefore, I expect Ashkenazi Jews to have evolved different traits and abilities than other groups, including Sephardic Jews.

I don’t think immigrants assimilate except in the most superficial of ways. For important life results such as longevity, law-abidingness, family stability, academic and vocational outcomes, Swedes, Mexicans, Africans, and the Japanese in America behave more similarly to their brethren back home than to other Americans. The problem with America’s schools, for example, is primarily bad students, not bad teachers (and I mean “bad” only in the sense not suited to first world achievement).

The first sentence of the U.S. Declaration of Independence says that “All men are created equal.” This is not true for abilities. It is only true that everyone is equal before the law (and in the eyes of God according to some opinions).

If a WASP nation such as the United States or Australia or England wanted to be strong, it would let its tribal citizens realize that they were guests whose residency depended on their good behavior (and rhetoric) promoting the interests of their nation. Or perhaps Chaim Amalek is right that “If God had wanted the goyim to have their own nations, he would have given the brains to defend them.”

“Damn, just think what America would be like if White people had defended their interests as forcefully as the Zionists have been defending theirs. This country would be 90% white. But to be white is to be a pussy, so no such luck.”

The Robert DeNiro movie about the CIA, The Good Shepherd, was often revealing about traditional American attitudes on these matters. The Bill Sullivan character said: “I’ll be looking for patriotic, honorable, bright young men from the right backgrounds to manage the various departments. In other words, no Jews or Negroes, and very few Catholics, and that’s only because I’m a Catholic.”

Later, Joseph Palmi said: “Let me ask you something… we Italians, we got our families, and we got the church; the Irish, they have the homeland, Jews their tradition; even the niggers, they got their music. What about you people, Mr. Wilson, what do you have?”
Edward Wilson: “The United States of America. The rest of you are just visiting.”

The Making Of The Sex & Love Addict

This lecture by recovering addict and therapist Jessica Levith speaks to me:

“Let’s say someone wouldn’t call me. My body would tighten up. I would sweat and I would end up on the ground crying. I would make myself throw up. Anything to release the tension. At the same time, I’m thinking in my brain, ‘I’m going to die. This person has to call me.’

“Then I would think, ‘Why are you so messed up? Why can’t you fix this?’

“Modern attachment theory…says that in your first year of life, your central nervous system is only partially developed and it is the job of your caretaker to help you develop that nervous system. The caretaker has to arouse the child and to calm the child and if that doesn’t happen, your central nervous system gets out of whack and as you develop as a child, it looks like a child who becomes isolated because no one wants to play with them, and in adolescence, it becomes the child thinking, ‘What is wrong with me?’, and starting to find outside people to fix them.

“I look at the brain from the trauma theory perspective — that our brain is three separate brains, one on top of the other. The bottom brain is our reptilian brain. This controls our unconscious functioning, our breathing, our heart rate, sleeping, fight or flight response… The limbic system, or middle brain, is the epic center of emotionality and it consolidates our long-term emotional brain. It controls our experiences of reward and pleasure. It is the center of pre-verbal memory. Our top brain, the cortex, is our human brain. It is where we make our decisions and solve problems.”

“Going back to me on the floor in withdrawal. I realized that I was in survival mode, I was in the brain stem.”

“In the limbic system, you’ve got the amygdala and the hippocampus.”

“The amygdala watches out for danger 24/7 and it is fully formed from birth. When it senses danger, it shoots a message to the central nervous system, get into the gear, and it also sends a message to the hippocampus which goes to the central nervous system, our rational thinking. If a child suffers from abuse long enough, or serious enough, the hippocampus goes offline during trauma and eventually it will atrophy and when you hear danger, you will only go to the central nervous system and you won’t go to the rational brain and those tranches get dug.”

“The hippocampus is where memory gets consolidated so if there is damage done to the hippocampus, you are going to end up with a fragmented memory. Your memory won’t process in a linear way. You will get a smell here or a taste there. That’s what happens when people get PTSD (flashbacks).”

“If you have a fragmented memory as a child, in addition to your central nervous system thrown out of whack, and you are feeling broken, you are going to have a fragmented sense of self because you are developing yourself but you don’t know who you are because everything is fragmented. It’s not just explicit memory that is being consolidated, it is all of your senses… You are out of whack… You are going to start seeking outside people to fix it.”

“I was 30 years old and I was on the floor because I did not get a phone call. This was historical. This was not about this person not calling me. This was in my body.”

“What is attachment dysregulation? A person’s maladaptive attempt(s) of seeking psychological and physiological homeostasis from another person in order to fill an earlier, “biological synchronicity” void created by the primary caregiver(s).”

Luke: Growing up, very few people, if any, wanted to play with me. I’m 48 and that hasn’t changed much. Ergo, since about age eight, I’ve sought rescue. I’ve sought out heroes and objects and passions to fix me.

The Road To Bountiful

I overheard a Jew talking about his trip: “I wasn’t impressed with Boise. There’s no diversity. No blacks, no latinos. Everyone’s really nice. There’s no crime and little trash and dysfunction.”

Jews tend to feel more comfortable in cities with lots of races rather than in cities where everyone is white (though Jews will usually choose to live in parts of the city that have few blacks and latinos and Jews will usually lead white flight).

When the goyim are 99.4% pure (such as Nazi Germany), they are more challenging than when they are only 50% pure and more insecure in their racial, religious and national loyalties.

Can Alexander Technique Cure Depression?

David Gorman (a veteran Alexander Technique teacher who developed LearningMethods.com, writes:

Of course, all of us who have had many experiences of change through the Alexander Technique know that a change in your manner of use does affect your mental and emotional state and your thinking. But the operative word is “affect”. A change to better use “may” affect your outlook, at least for a while, but if the underlying way of seeing the world and seeing yourself has not changed then no amount of Alexander “experiences” are going to free you from what it feels like to see the world and yourself the way you do.

The best you might get is a temporary change each time as you ride the feeling of the changed coordination you get in lessons. But as soon as your old way of experiencing the world and understanding the world creep back in, you’ll be right back in the same reactions and responses…

Normally, of course, Alexander teachers do not attempt to find out how their pupils are thinking about themselves and their lives and their relationships, etc. (except maybe for how pupils are thinking about thoir necks). That is “psychological” stuff and is left to therapists, etc.

Yet, without finding out the ideas people have about themselves and life, how can you understand why they feel the way they do? Or even why they are in the sort of physical coordinations (that we call “use”) they are in?

I think many times we have it backwards. We think that if we change the use we will change the thoughts and feelings (it’s all one unity, isn’t it? and it doesn’t matter which way you “get in”)…

But if you were feeling a bit down one day, you’d probably have a use that was ‘down’ and heavy. If you then found out that you’d won the lottery your use would immediately change to one of up and joy and delight. What we call our “use” is our response to the situations we are in and how we interpret them. As our interpretations become habitual so too do these responses.

It does not work the other way. If you could go for a lesson and became freed up and out of your heaviness. You’d probably feel lighter, and you might feel more joy and even delight, but you would not automatically win the lottery. In fact, you’d probably do what most students do, you walk out of the lesson feeling pretty good until you got back into your life which you still see the same way and therefore will still respond to with the same “use”. The only change is that now you’d probably be trying to keep or get back that wonderful light and “up” feeling to help you cope.

There are a small percentage of AT pupils who are able to take insights from their changed use in the lessons and see themselves and the world differently, but as Walter Carrington said one day as i was discussing this sport of thing with him, it is way less than 5% of people. And my own teaching experiences totally concur.

However, it is also my experience that once we can help the pupil uncover the way they see things (their “reality” — at least what they think reality is like) and help expose the misunderstandings and misattributions they are suffering under, then they no longer believe that things are that way. As it stops seeming “real” to them, they stop reacting that way. And as they start having a reliable appreciation (accurate interpretation) of the way things are, they start to experience things the way most of us do.

In other words, it is not a case of poor use or unreliable sensory appreciation. It is a case of Unreliable Reality Appreciation.

Rabbi Talks About Losing His Job For Surfing For Porn At Work

The rabbi said he acted out for 25 years until he found Sexaholics Anonymous.

Alan: “I’m from New York… The internet saved my life because it got me fired. I was a rabbi. At the time, it seemed like a really good idea for a rabbi in my field to go on the company computer and surf porn. My hierarchy didn’t think the same way I did. They said you can’t come back next week. I said, wow, the gig is up. Twenty five years of acting out is up. I couldn’t even save my morning prayers. The rabbi who caught me said I should continue in my rabbinic work. Nobody will hear about this from my mouth. That happened. I lost a six figure job but I didn’t lose a day of work… I was looking through the phone book to act out and I saw Sexaholics Anonymous and I thought, wow, this would be a great place to act out, and I called the line.”

“The internet is a gift of God. I am able to connect with people worldwide.”

“I had a problem with Peeping Tomism and I had a problem with looking into windows. I couldn’t look at phone books for a long time. I’d look up escorts. For a long time, I couldn’t have internet in my house.”

WP: ‘Ferguson’s Riots Can Happen Anywhere’

Uh no, they would be unlikely to happen in white and oriental areas.

Washington Post: “SWAT teams and angry protesters clashed in a small St. Louis suburb for a third day Tuesday, following the death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. The eruption of protests and violence has been a long time coming. While I certainly do not condone rioting, examining the conditions surrounding Brown’s death — and the deaths of several other unarmed black men killed by law enforcement recently — makes clear that community reactions like those in Ferguson, Mo., are bound to happen. America has continued to isolate poor black people in economically depressed neighborhoods under increasingly oppressive police tactics that breed distrust and hostility.”

Showing Off Your Award

This Jewish kid I know wants to bring in some dorky instrument to his school’s show and tell day. His dad orders him to bring in this prestigious award he earned and the dad then asks me what I think. “I would never have brought in an award, too boasty,” I said. “But then, I wasn’t raised Jewish. Jews have an easier time receiving honors and compliments (see Donald Sterling for example). WASPs would rather die.”

Dad: “You think Robin Williams got what he deserved, so good for you. Somebody sent his daughter pictures of his dead body.”

I burst out laughing.

How To Riot & Rob With Good Use

Notice the beautiful use, the freedom in his limbs, the legs releasing away from the hips… If he could just release a little more tension in his neck and direct his head forward and up.

Note the free neck, he does not use unnecessary tension in his arms and shoulders when running and carrying. Notice how his head leads the movement and his feet fall under him.

Is White Racism The Biggest Problem Blacks Face?

From Human Events:

In New York from January to June 2008, 83 percent of all gun assailants were black, according to witnesses and victims, though blacks were only 24 percent of the population. Blacks and Hispanics together accounted for 98 percent of all gun assailants. Forty-nine of every 50 muggings and murders in the Big Apple were the work of black or Hispanic criminals…

Fernando Mateo, head of the New York taxicab union, urges his drivers to profile blacks and Hispanics for their own safety: “The God’s honest truth is that 99 percent of the people that are robbing, stealing, killing these drivers are blacks and Hispanics.”

…After researching the FBI numbers for “Suicide of a Superpower,” this writer concluded: “An analysis of ‘single offender victimization figures’ from the FBI for 2007 finds blacks committed 433,934 crimes against whites, eight times the 55,685 whites committed against blacks. Interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white — with 14,000 assaults on white women by African Americans in 2007. Not one case of a white sexual assault on a black female was found in the FBI study.”

Though blacks are outnumbered 5-to-1 in the population by whites, they commit eight times as many crimes against whites as the reverse. By those 2007 numbers, a black male was 40 times as likely to assault a white person as the reverse.

If interracial crime is the ugliest manifestation of racism, what does this tell us about where racism really resides — in America?

And if the FBI stats for 2007 represent an average year since the Tawana Brawley rape-hoax of 1987, over one-third of a million white women have been sexually assaulted by black males since 1987 — with no visible protest from the civil rights leadership.

Today, 73 percent of all black kids are born out of wedlock. Growing up, these kids drop out, use drugs, are unemployed, commit crimes and are incarcerated at many times the rate of Asians and whites — or Hispanics, who are taking the jobs that used to go to young black Americans.

NYT: After Shooting, a Twitter Hashtag Questions Portrayal of Blacks

What if the stereotype that blacks are more criminally violent than other races is true? What if it is true around the world?

Nowhere in this story does it mention that every country in the world in which they have a large presence, blacks have a higher crime rate than all other races. In the United States, blacks are more likely to commit murder than whites by a rate of 10-1.

NYT: “Like hundreds of young African-Americans, he placed his pictures under the hashtag #IfTheyGunnedMeDown, protesting Mr. Brown’s killing by a police officer and the way young black men are depicted in the news media. He said Mr. Brown’s identity was distorted and filtered through negative stereotypes, and that the same would have been done to him with the bandanna image if he found himself the victim of a similar tragedy. The first picture was taken after a jazz concert at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Tex., where Mr. Atkins, a senior, studies music. The other was taken during a recording for a rap video he made with friends for a school math project.”

TheAtlantic: “The shooting of the unarmed 18-year-old by police on Saturday is part of a long history of violence toward African Americans in the Midwestern city.”

“There is no large city in America more burdened by racial tension and mutual suspicion than St. Louis.”

There is no place in the world filled with different races that isn’t filled with tension.

Steve Sailer writes:

There’s little demand for stories about cops shooting white teens. It’s a big country and bad stuff happens every day…

For anybody who wishes to be accepted as a respectable participant in the Public Square, there are numerous Bizarro Universe conventions that must be observed:

– The New York Times is not part of “the news media.”

– “The news media” is out to cover up white criminal violence against blacks.

– “The news media” is out to stigmatize blacks.

– The problem of young black males is not that they commit homicide at a rate 27 times greater than the rest of the population (according to an Obama Administration study), but that there is a “stereotype” (obviously fallacious) that they tend to be more dangerous.

– White billionaires like Jimmy Iovine who have gotten rich off encouraging black youths to uphold a thuggish image should be celebrated.
