Cooper: World’s silent acquiescence of Palestinian Jew-hatred is helping to destroy any chance for peace

Rabbi Abraham Cooper writes:

At a graduation ceremony of a kindergarten, sponsored by a women’s charity organization in the West Bank town of Anabta, preschoolers wearing uniforms and carrying toy guns performed a song routine. A picture of PLO founder, Yasser Arafat is visible on stage.
Here is an excerpt of one of the songs these little kids performed:
“On the mountains, behind the hills, within the valleys – you will be defeated, you will be defeated. Whether you come by land, by sea, or by air – you will be crushed, you will be crushed. If you stretch your hand, it will be chopped off. If you just look with your eye, it will be gouged out. The defeated army will be too terrified to come back. We come for you before, and woe betide you if we come back again. You come to this land alive, but you will leave it as body part. On the mountains, behind the hills, within the valleys – you will be defeated, you will be defeated. Whether you come by land, by sea, or by air – you will be crushed, you will be crushed.”
…It is past due for Presidents Obama, Hollande, Prime Minister Cameron, and Chancellor Merkel to tell the Palestinians: If you actually want your own state, then prove- to your Israeli neighbors in word and deed– that Palestinians are finally ready to tell their young that a state means embracing peace, not preparing for the next war.

Wow. That song that Palestinian preschoolers sang curdles my blood. It’s just pure hate. Jews would never say anything like that.

I mean, sure, we do pray three times a day in the Amidah: “And for slanderers let there be no hope; and may all Your enemies be cut down speedily. May you speedily uproot, smash, cast, down, and humble the wanton sinners — speedily in our days. Blessed are you, HaShem, Who breaks enemies and humbles wanton sinners.”

Little Jewish kids recite those words.

What exactly is the difference between what Jews pray three times and what these Palestinian kids sang?

At the end of the morning prayers (Shacharit), Jews say the Six Remembrances, including:

“You shall remember what Amalek did to you on the way, when you went out of Egypt, how he happened upon you on the way and cut off all the stragglers at your rear, when you were faint and weary, and did not fear G‑d. [Therefore,] it will be, when the L‑rd your G-d grants you respite from all your enemies around [you] in the land which the L‑rd, your G‑d, gives to you as an inheritance to possess, that you shall obliterate the remembrance of Amalek from beneath the heavens. You shall not forget!”

So if the Palestinians repeated this prayer but substituted “Jews” and “Israel” for “Amalek”, would that be hate speech? How does this prayer sound now? “You shall remember what the Jews did to you on the way, when you went out of Egypt, how he happened upon you on the way and cut off all the stragglers at your rear, when you were faint and weary, and did not fear G‑d. [Therefore,] it will be, when the L‑rd your G-d grants you respite from all your enemies around [you] in the land which the L‑rd, your G‑d, gives to you as an inheritance to possess, that you shall obliterate the remembrance of Israel from beneath the heavens. You shall not forget!”

“Amalek” is a flexible moral category that Jews sometimes use as a shorthand for their enemies.

Wikipedia notes: “In the religious teaching of Meir Kahane (1932 – 1990), Amalek is a mythical enemy of Israel, embodied in different actual enemies throughout Jewish history. Since God and the Jewish people, according to Kahane, are ontologically related, the contemporary enemies of Israel are allegedly threatening existence of God himself. In the contemporary meaning, “Amalek” refers to the hostile Gentiles who are to be revenged for the near annihilation of Jews and their God, or calls for the analogous actions in future. Metaphysics of Kahane, borrowed from the earlier Jewish authors (Judah Halevy, Abraham Isaac Kook), provided justification for the radical movement known as Kahanism, presently banned in Israel.”

How about when Jews chant “Death to the Arabs“? Is that hate speech?

I have no problem with Jews chanting “Death to the Arabs” and I have no problem with Arabs and Muslims chanting “Death to the Jews.” Any healthy strongly identifying Arab or Muslim is going to have negative feelings about Jews, in part because they have a Jewish state on land that Arabs and Muslims believe belongs to them. Any healthy strongly identifying Jew is going to have some negative feelings about Gentiles, particularly Arabs and Muslims. A strongly identifying Jap is likely to have some negative feelings towards Koreans and Chinese and strongly identifying Koreans are likely to dislike Japan and strongly identifying Chinese are likely to dislike Japan.

An Orthodox Jewish friend the other day told me, “You know Aussies. They hate everyone who isn’t Aussie.” Well, that’s largely how it goes for all strongly identifying in-groups. They tend to have negative feelings about outsiders in proportion to how strongly they identify with their own in-group.

I don’t think Jews or Palestinians are wicked for having enemies. Every strong in-group identity carries with it increased suspicion of outsiders. As a Jew grows in his Judaism, he typically develops more negative feelings about outsiders, just as when a Muslim grows in his Islam, he also typically develops more negative feelings about outsiders, just as when Aryans grow in their Aryan identity, they typically develop more negative feelings about outsiders.

Every group has enemies. Every group has a victimology. Every victimology has a nationalism. Every nationalism contains the capacity for genocide.

Jenna Jameson’s Surprising Turn Towards Judaism

From Page Six:

The conversion is a surprise considering how outspoken Jameson has been in the past about her Catholic faith.
“I’m very religious,” she told Larry King in 2013. “I think that we’ve come a long way religiously. I don’t think that you have to take the Bible literally … And I love being able to teach my children what it means to just believe and have the strength of faith … I’ve always been extremely Catholic. My father was Catholic, and he brought me up that way.”
As for Jameson’s fiancé, the Daily Beast reports the Israel-born diamond dealer was charged with insurance fraud after falsely reporting the theft of a 4.21-carat diamond from his jewelry store in 2010. He reportedly fled to Israel and attempted to sell the diamond he claimed was stolen and in 2011, pled guilty and was sentenced to three years of probation, 5 days in jail and 90 days of home confinement. He also had to return the diamond to the insurance company and pay $99,000 in restitution.

Orthodox Jews And America’s Culture Wars

Elliot Resnick writes: Jews in pre-war Europe tended to fear fundamentalist Christianity. They knew that Christian fervor often led to expulsions, blood libels, and forced conversions. Indeed, when Russia’s Queen Elizabeth barred all Jews from her realm in 1742, she declared quite explicitly, “From the enemies of Christ I seek no gain.”

The fact that Eastern-European Jews remained apprehensive of fundamentalist Christianity when they immigrated to the United States in the 19th and 20th centuries is therefore no wonder. And yet, over the past 50 years, some Jews have started to view religious Christians in a new light. Rather than fearing them as enemies intent on “converting the Jews,” many now see them as Israel’s only true friends in an increasingly hostile world.

But Israel is not the only issue that has drawn Jews closer to conservative Christians in recent decades. The culture wars have played a significant role as well. As traditional morality declined in the second half of the 20th century, some Jewish leaders began seeing amoral secularism – not fundamentalist Christianity – as the greatest threat facing American Jewry. And with that shift came a new appreciation for the “religious right” and the potential benefits in joining forces with it.

An early example of such cooperation occurred in 1962 when Rabbi Gershon Neumann of Manhattan’s Congregation Zichron Moshe founded a group called Morality in Media together with Father Morton A. Hill and Rev. Robert Wiltenburg to protest the sale of pornography to New York City schoolchildren. A year later Neumann and Hill proclaimed a hunger strike to highlight the issue – a story that made it to the front page of The New York Times and forced Mayor Robert Wagner to act.

In 1964, two other rabbis – including Chaim Lipschutz, at the time an editor at The Jewish Press – joined Neumann and six Christian clergy in attacking the U.S. Supreme Court for striking down obscenity bans on Henry Miller’s Tropic of Cancer and a French film, “The Lovers.” The court “virtually promulgated degeneracy as the standard way of American life,” declared the clergymen.

Two years later, in 1966, the group again made its voice heard, this time praising the Supreme Court for ruling against the publishers of a pornographic magazine and books on sadism while criticizing it for reversing an 18th-century ruling declaring the novel Fanny Hill obscene. Four rabbis joined nine Christian clergymen on this matter. Among the four were Neumann and Abraham B. Hecht, president of the Rabbinical Alliance of America.

What motivated Neumann and his colleagues to cooperate with Christian clergy? A desire to keep American culture wholesome. As Senator John O. Pastore said at a Morality in Media dinner in 1972, “Unquestionably, the books [our children] read, and the television and movies they see during their tender formative years, significantly shape their personality. Of all the media none is more pervasive and effective for good or evil than television.”

Thus, Media in Morality aimed, as one reporter put it, “to combat by legal means TV shows, movies, magazines and books that incite the nation’s youth (and their elders) to violence, perversion, promiscuity, drug experimentation, hatred, and tastelessness.”

A contemporary Jewish figure who has worked with conservative Christian groups in fighting America’s culture wars is Rabbi Yehuda Levin. A media-savvy activist, Levin founded a group called Jews for Morality in the 1980s and has served as a spokesman for the Orthodox rabbinical organizations Agudas HaRabbonim and Igud HaRabbonim on social issues.

Levin first got involved in the culture wars in 1978 after seeing a letter from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein urging Jews to “fill the chambers of New York City Hall all the days of the hearing regarding homosexual legislation…to publicly demonstrate that God’s people loath abomination.”

Shortly thereafter, Levin was invited to join a delegation to outgoing New Hampshire Governor Meldrim Thomson to discuss the formation of a national pro-morality organization. Only 24 at the time, Levin was reluctant to go, but Rabbi Avigdor Miller encouraged him, reportedly covering half his travel costs to New Hampshire…

Perhaps the most prominent Orthodox rabbi to have cooperated with conservative Christian groups in promoting traditional morality in America is Rabbi Daniel Lapin, founder of Toward Tradition. The organization first made first waves in August 1994 when it placed an ad in The New York Times blasting the Anti-Defamation League for its alarmist report on conservative Christian groups. Headlined, “Should Jews Fear the ‘Christian Right’?” the ad declared that Judaism is not “coextensive with liberalism” and that “separation of church and state is not the same thing as the elimination of religious values and concepts from political discourse.”

More important, though, was Toward Tradition’s next ad, which appeared prominently on The New York Times’s op-ed page after the midterm elections that thrust Newt Gingrich and like-minded conservatives into power. Wishing “Mazel Tov” to Gingrich, Toward Tradition declared that “Judaism is a conservative and traditional religion” and opined that “many of America’s problems have been aggravated by the secularist rejection of the religious and cultural traditions that built and sustained American civilization.”

Among the signatories to the ad were Rabbi Abraham B. Hecht, Rabbi Avigdor Miller, Rabbi Mayer Schiller, and conservative movie critic Michael Medved.

In the wake of this ad, Lapin soon found himself addressing a Christian Coalition conference in 1995 and offering an invocation at the Republican National Convention in 1996.

The seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe likewise feared a United States sans God and advocated a constitutional amendment permitting non-denominational prayers in public schools after the Supreme Court deemed school prayer unconstitutional in 1963. “Children have to be ‘trained’ from their earliest youth to be constantly aware of ‘the Eye that seeth and the Ear that heareth,’ ” he wrote. “We cannot leave it to the law-enforcing agencies to be the keepers of the ethics and morals of our young generation.”

* * * * *

Despite the logic in fighting for a more moral America, few Jewish leaders nowadays – with the prominent exception of Rabbi Meir Soloveitchik – have emulated the examples of Rabbis Neumann, Levin, and Lapin. It’s true that Agudath Israel and the Orthodox Union have on occasion protested the moral degeneration of society. Agudah’s David Zwiebel, for example, testified against gay marriage before Congress in 1996. Nonetheless, these groups have not made fighting the culture wars a priority and, more often than not, only lobby legislators when the law in question affects Orthodox Jews directly.

Is Jenna Jameson Sincere About Wanting To Convert To Judaism?

Rabbi Rabbs writes:
I believe she’s sincere, and she wants to have a kosher conversion. She’s into the whole Jewy thing, and even shops for kosher Shabbos meals right here in my area at Glatt Mart.
The more she learns about Judaism, the more she’ll realize that she is not a match for her secular Israeli fiance. She would prefer marrying someone like herself who takes Torah and mitzvahs seriously.
I can’t help but think of who might be perfect for her. Who in the frum community shares her background in the porn industry? Who during his weekly Torah Talks broadcasts openly bragged about banging porn stars?
The answer is my former partner in crime, Luke Ford. Levi, what say you?
That’s my 2 cents. Unless of course she doesn’t want kids, in which case, I think we all know who might be a fit for her.

What Is The Role Of The Jews In Pushing MultiCulturalism & Open Borders?

Jayman writes: Well, as accessing parallel universes is currently beyond our technology, we can’t quite make that claim, now can we?

But the next best thing would be to look a Western society that doesn’t have Jews and compare the results.

Here’s the Jewish population as a fraction of the total population in various countries across the world.

And for comparison, Muslim fraction of the population across Europe (here and here).

First thing you notice is that no European country has a big a fraction of Jews as does the U.S. The next thing you notice is that many of these countries as gung-ho about immigration from Muslim lands. In some of these countries (like Norway), Jews are virtually absent.

Is P.C., pro-open borders sentiment in these countries due to Jewish influence, too?

if Jewish influence is supposedly responsible for leftism, why are does it work in only some parts of the world? Why are those parts Northwestern European and offshoots? Even in the States, why do we see the message resonate in some parts and not others? It seems purported Jewish ideas found fertile soil in some places and not others. And if that’s the case, it’s not really solving the problem is it? It’s just sending it some place else.

FROM OCCAM’S RAZOR:

First, the radicals who have drastically changed Western society over the past 150 years or so have not been Puritans but in fact Ashkenazis:

Marx – undermine traditional European regimes

Freud – legitimizes sexual degeneracy

Franz Boas – popularizes the “race doesn’t exist” meme

Ashley Montagu – also popularizes “race doesn’t exist” meme and makes racism the greatest sin of the West

Adorno and Horkheimer – Cultural Marxism, delegitimize white people

White Woman Poses As Black To Lead NAACP Chapter

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* A brave trans-racial pioneer; taking arrows today so those who follow will have a clear path.

Her journey is no less courageous than the one TransBruce has embarked upon. Both are bravely following their passions.

* John Derbyshire writes: “Black privilege has now advanced so far that nonblacks are striving to ‘pass’ as black in order to get a piece of that tasty privilege pie.”

I Wonder How Much Black Blood I Have Inside Of Me?

Near zero?

Not so sure. I feel more and more shiftless in recent years.

I jes’ want to sit by the dock of the bay all day long

Never did marry. No fancy lifestyle.

And I just ate myself a mess of watermellon.

cant spell none either

I drank some “Dr. Pepper” out of a bottle hidden inside a paper bag the other day. Out on the street.

And I love the white ladies.

Add it all up and . . .

‘Surrender’ In 12-Step Reminds Me Of ‘Inhibition’ In Alexander Technique

From the book How to Get Out of Debt, Stay Out of Debt, and Live Prosperously*: Based on the Proven Principles and Techniques of Debtors Anonymous:

It is simply letting go of an old way of doing things in order to embrace a new one. When you admit that you have a debting problem, when you surrender to that, you become willing to let go of your old perceptions and behaviors, which resulted in deprivation, pressure, and unhappiness, and in their place embrace new ones, which bring about freedom, ease and thriving.

From the Alexander Technique perspective:

Inhibition comes from the Latin for restraint and in Alexander Technique terms, has nothing to do with repression.

In physiology, this term refers to the restraining of an organic process, or the prevention of its initiation by neurological or physiological means (Penguin Dictionary of Psychology)

In the Alexander Technique, the term refers to a learned process, in which a person chooses to stop or inhibit a habitual reaction to a stimulus. This allows the individual a moment’s pause, in which to choose whether or not to respond to the stimulus and if so, how to perform an action in response.

As Alexander stated:

‘all those who wish to change something in themselves must learn… to inhibit their immediate reaction to any stimulus to gain a desired end’ and in order to stop falling back ‘upon the familiar sensory experiences of their old habitual use in order to gain it, they must continue this inhibition whilst they employ the new direction of their use’.

F M Alexander ~ The Use of the Self p. 115

He also put it more simply when he said to a pupil who he was teaching:

‘Like a good fellow, stop the things that are wrong first’.

F Matthias Alexander ~ Aphorisms p.47

In other words we learn to

Stop ~ Think and Direct ~ Then Move

Steve Sailer: Nobel Scientist Says Women Take Things Personally; Women Take It Personally

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* A travesty for sure but, to be precise, ubiquitous reports of losing his job are BS. He only resigned from a honorary post – the one that does not require any job done and pays nothing. He probably won’t be Watsoned from his real job at London Research Institute (Cancer Research UK).

* If Isaac Newton had been a woman, she’d have said “Why did that apple have to land on MY head?”

And if she’d lived in 2015 she’d have gone on Twitter to denounce gravity as an oppressive social construct.

* Yeah, it’s pretty much that in the name of being leftist, the world is regressing back to being as self-centered and anti-science as possible.

Almost 2500 years after Socrates’ birth, we’re giving up on the idea that you can argue without taking it personally.

* H.L. Mencken — ‘Misogynist: A man who hates women as much as women hate one another.’

* “knighted in 2006″

benighted in 2015

* If he had publicly declared that 1+1=3, people would chalk it up to dementia or exhaustion and move on. Hundreds of people would not be making fun of him on Twitter. We react when we hear truths that we don’t want to hear.

* There are Scientific studies that show that men’s mental ability is decreased in coed situations, but women’s is not.

This helps explain why creative groups of men, one way or another, try to exclude women. And why women think it’s a good idea to have coed research and business groups.

Segregated by gender education is also a good idea, not only for blacks as has been suggested in New York City.

Another Amazing First For Our First Lady

New York Times reports:

Michelle Obama has been on the cover of many magazines, including Vogue and Time. To go along with her latest appearance, she has also had a bigger role behind the scenes.

In a first for a first lady, Mrs. Obama is guest-editing the July/August issue of More, a lifestyle magazine for women ages 30 to 65.

This has to rank up there with getting a good citizenship award at a school named for Martin Luther King.
