The Meir Kin Divorce Case

Joe emails: Luke, here is another letter from a different Bais Din (Jewish law court) condemning the RCC and the new Seiruv as fraudulent and meritless. Rabbi Gestetner has condemmed Herschel Schachter from New York, Avrohom Union and Nochum Sauer as Bbeing great sinners who have “lost their share in the world to come” for their ruthless and corruptive behaviors against the innocent Meir Kin who has abided by Halocho (Jewish law).

Here’s a translation:

RABBINICAL COURT SHAAR HAMISHPOT MONSEY, NY (845)425-9708

“PUBLIC EXCOMMUNICATION OF HERETICS FOR FALSE SLANDER”

This Bais Din has already publicized on the 24th day of Nissan 5767 the corruptive behavior of R. Avrohom Union, and R. Nochum Sauer against Mr Meir Kin in regards to issuing a false Seiruv, and against Halocho, despite Mr Kin’s response to their summons. Mr kin had responded his willingness to attend to a Bais Din and has in the interim already arranged a Get for his wife. Despite all of this, these individuals have falsely claimed that he is “chaining” his wife, when in reality she’s chaining herself by her repeated refusal to come to the Bais Din where the Get is waiting for her. This Bais Din has already in the past cited many Halachic sources that confirm that their Seiruv against Mr Kin is completely without merit. ( please see letter # 1025 in our registry).

It is now apparent that these rabbis are “pouring salt to the wound” by releasing yet again another false and corruptive Seiruv on the 11th day of Taamuz against Mr Kin. This time they have added R. Herschel Schachter from Ny to their scheme who is known as a “harem keeper” and who practices “reverse discrimination” at the expense and detriment of the man. Herschel Schachter’s corruptive and “Reform” logic enables and empowers women to violate the procedures set forth in the Torah. He permits women to arbitrate their Divorces in the Civil Courts and not Bais Din, and assures them that a Get will be waiting for them regardless of the tactics they employ. However in reality, a Get that is procured thru forceful means is invalid and the woman has not received a valid GET.

The “Steipler Gaon” warns us about Rabbis who “defends women regardless of the facts, as having a “connection to promiscuity”.

THEREFORE IN THE NAME OF THE TORAH, WE PROCLAIM THAT HERSCHEL SCHACHTER (NY), AVROHOM MICHOEL UNION (LOS ANGELES), NOCHUM SAUER(LOS ANGELES) ARE SLANDERERS AND DEFAMERS, WHICH ACCORDING TO HALOCHO IS LIKENED TO “MURDER” AND THEREFORE HAVE LOST THEIR SHARE IN THE WORLD TO COME. (REFERENCE HEBREW VERSION FOR HALACHIC CITATIONS).

THEY ARE ALSO IN A STATE OF EXCOMMUNICATION IN THIS WORLD FOR 3 REASONS. (REFERENCE HEBREW VERSION FOR HALACHIC CITATIONS).

WE EMPHATICALLY DECLARE THAT MR MEIR KIN IS COMPLIANT UNDER HALOCHO. THE SEIRUV ISSUED AGAINST HIM IS INVALID AND LIKENED TO A WORTHLESS BROKEN POT.

WE TURN TO WHOEVER MIGHT HAVE INFLUENCE UPON THESE PARTIES, TO BRING THEM TO TESHUVA. THEY SHOULD BE CONVINCED TO STOP SUPPORTING

THOSE THAT ARBITRATE MATTERS IN THE CIVIL COURTS AND CAUSING BASTARDS TO BE BORN TO “NON-DIVORCED WOMEN”. AS THE GEMORO IN SHABBOS 139a STATES “THAT IF YOU SEE TRAGEDY IN THIS WORLD, GO AND EXAMINE THE STATUS OF JEWISH JUDGES, BECAUSE PUNISHMENT AND STRIFE ATTACKS US DUE TO CORRUPTIVE JUDGES IN ISRAEL”. WHOEVER CAN CONVINCE THESE RABBIS TO REPENT WILL MERIT MUCH BLESSING.

Avraham Shmuel Yehuda Gestetner

Chief dayan (judge)

Andrea Thompson Commentaries

Steam Chip emails: I just emerged from my cave a few weeks ago and discovered who Andrea Thompson is. Consider anything I write from here on in this particular context — it is NEW news to me. Next week I’ll look in on presidential election and see how Al made out against George W.

In response to the Andrea Thompson commentaries: As the somewhat observant Jew, I imagine it falls upon you to uphold some aspect of God’s righteousness. However, this is tricky without appearing too insulting, self righteous or condescending. I understand full well your remorse and apology in your 2nd commentary about Andrea. We need to live long lives so we can atone for our earlier sins.

Some additional information: While doing some artwork, as is my custom, I had a DVD running to keep me company as I worked. Suddenly, I heard a very distinct and astoundingly marvelous Voice. Instantly taken, and was compelled to cue back and forth through the DVD until I located her name.

Running a Google search, I found all kinds of stuff about Andrea, including your website.

Her upbringing, so as many of the websites say, was in a strict Catholic household. Perhaps she abandoned her religion or maybe it was an understanding she had with God; the decision to shuck clothes lasciviously for the various pictures and films. Andrea certainly seemed comfortable being filmed in only her skin while others were getting a grope. Unrepentant, she declared to critics and the curious, in so many words, her work was that of a creative artist.

As an artist myself I certainly can empathize with the sentiment. However, some acts of

Last week came the news that OU head of shechita Dokter Rabbiner Seth Mandel is overseeing shochtim who eat treif or are not otherwise shomrei Torah umitzvos.

I asked a rov to look into this. A rather grouchy OU official beat up on the poor rov for doing his duty. The OU official is demanding the rov “apologize” for getting one minor detail wrong while the OU is being secretive and downplaying the huge scandal that this is. (While the OU official assails the rov for “character assassination” of Seth Mandel, a NJ paper reported on Wed. that the OU official’s son was indicted by a grand jury for witness tampering on behalf of Kolko. Trying to protect the integrity of kashrus is an avlah but harassing a child sex abuse victim and his family is not?)

Seth Mandel, YCT shochet Andy Kastner, shochet Naftali Hanau, Conservative shochet Shalom Kantor & Hanau’s Lubavitcher shechita rebbe Yehuda Benchemhoun have been hanging out together & shechting at Hazon conferences since at least 2007. Kantor has been shechting with both Kastner and Hanau.

Has Seth Mandel ever shechted with Kantor?

The owner of OU certified KOL Foods says here that she uses Kantor as a shochet.

http://www.zevsfund.org/news/20071221JewishStar-page1&3.pdf

Here is Seth Mandel in 2007 at a Hazon event at Adamah / Isabella Friedman Center in CT where Hanau was an official at the time. I wonder if the OU is aware that he told the crowd, while speaking as an OU official, that all commercial shechita is “inhumane”. The Eco / Vegan people on hand were shocked by the admission.

The OU official farentfered to the rov that they all met bederech mikreh in 2009 and that an impromptu decision was made that Seth Mandel would act only as the bodek sakinim.

http://jcarrot.org/transforming-kosher-meat-in-america-from-the-food-conference

To imply that Seth Mandel merely picked the shochtim by chance goes against what he himself preaches on this video clip about the background research required before approving any shochet. Unless that is Seth Mandel KNEW the shochtim are not religious according to orthodox halachic standards and simply doesn’t care.

I am dan lekaf zechus however that Seth Mandel didn’t mean to touch Mrs. Kimmelman-Block’s hand when he passes the microphone.

(Two other items of note in this video is Seth Mandel’s statement that he found safety violations every time he stepped foot in Rubashkin’s plant and Conservative Rabbi Morris Allen’s claim that he conspired with Lubavitcher Rabbi Zeilengold to flood the Minnesota market with Rubashkin’s non-glatt meat)

Sunday Night Torah Talk With Tikkun Torah Columnist Dr. Mark Kirschbaum

Read Dr. Kirschbaum’s work here.

Certain people used the work of a 19th Century Hasidic rebbe to hit on girls. We discuss using God to pick up chicks.

Dr. Kirschbaum’s essay Biblical epic and personal narrative, as inspired by the Torah portions of Matot and Masei.

Moses Ordering the Slaughter of the Midianites (1650 painting by Claes Corneliszoon Moeyaert)

SpaceMan: Then I can call your false zombie god what he is.
SpaceMan: Wouldn’t u rather go in a chat with your fellow zombie worshippers? Why mess with us?
Chicago: don’t you want to be educated about all?
SpaceMan: Isnt 2,000 years of pogroms, inquisitions, and holocausts enough?
SpaceMan: I know your religion and so does everyone else.
SpaceMan: Your religion is really not all that complex. It’s for idiots.
Chicago: you’ve been alive for 2000 years? dude you need to let it go already
SpaceMan: I know your religion. Quite well.
SpaceMan: I know your religion.

SpaceMan: So, you worship a jewish zombie then.

Dennis Prager: ‘Holiness Protects Ethics’

In his 2004 lecture on Deuteronomy 14, Dennis Prager says: “There’s a tacit agreement in Jewish life between the observant and the non-observant — we both agree that the laws have no meaning.”

“It is a pain in my life because I so believe in Judaism and in the Torah that Judaism has become in certain areas so irrational.”

“The priests are in charge of the temple. They are the priests of Israel. You can’t qualify for it. You have to be born into it. It’s a terrific thing or otherwise there would be bribery and who knows what. There’s no politics. You can’t run for priest.”

Jacob Milgrom: “As God has restricted his choice of the nations to Israel, so must Israel restrict its choice of edible animals to the few sanctioned by God.”

Dennis: “Democracy is good for running a nation, but God does not run the world by democracy.”

“Jews do not survive the dropping of kashrut. They have not. They will not. It is the most ubiquitous act we engage in… If you start eating like everyone else, you’ll become like everyone else.”

“Holiness protects ethics. The ethical laws will be violated if the cushion of the holy ceases to function.”

In a lecture on Deuteronomy 13, Dennis Prager says: “You can tap into the miraculous (such as the Egyptian magicians) and it doesn’t mean that you are on God’s side.”

Do Christians and Jews worship the same God as Muslim terrorists?

“It may be the same God, but it is irrelevant. An American communist and an American Klu Klux Klanner and an American fascist all have the same president. So what?”

“Nine eleven changed Jewish life… The things that I can say in lectures to Jews now that do not elicit hoots and boos and derision is unbelievable. I could not talk about Jewish choseness before 9/11. Nowhere do Jewish audiences now find this bizarre. Real evil has confronted them. The centrality of Jew hatred in the world has made it evident that there may be some truth that Jews walk a different path. Any Jew with any Jewish identity is now prepared to hear this without laughing or bouncing the lecture fee. I am stunned. I speak more now in Jewish life than ever before. Sixty two Jewish communities last year and I don’t take all the ones I’m invited to. I can’t obviously.

“I say this almost all the time and it’s unbelievable to me. I’m pinching myself. They’re not yelling at me? They are giving this a standing ovation in Dallas? The largest group of Jews ever to convene in Texas I spoke to last year and I spoke about [Jewish choseness]. There is no other way to understand Israel and the centrality of Jews in the world and the hatred? I believe America is hated because it is the one society in history to affirm Jewish choseness. It is the one Judeo-Christian society in history… You latch on to the Jews, and you get the blessings and the hatred of a lot of people.”

Question: Why did 9/11 have this affect on Jews and not the Holocaust?

Dennis: “The Holocaust was so overwhelming that the only effect it had on Jews was to depress them. The evil was too great.”

“It’s not just 9/11. It’s the eruption of Jew-hatred and Israel-hatred and America-hatred so that all of it wrapped together is shaking people up. Not only can I say to Jews certain things that I couldn’t say before, but to non-Jews. I couldn’t talk about America being chosen before 9/11. I would’ve been dismissed as a kook and set off to some weird radio station.”

In early 2004, Dennis took his 11-year old son Aaron to Israel. “I wanted him to see Israel and it had some of the effect.”

“It is a very powerful thing for an identifying Jew to go into a world that is Jewish. You never have that experience [outside of Israel].

“Let’s take Hebrew. When he was watching Dragon Ball Z in Hebrew, I had a big smile on my face. He didn’t understand the dubbed language. For him to know that Hebrew is alive. It’s not just the language he’s learning for his bar mitzvah was a powerful experience. Wow, they even do cartoons. Not just Isaiah.

“One time he said, Dad, do you realize that five of the letters between one and ten begin with the letter shin? He was starting to think about the Hebrew language as he had never done before except under semi-coercion.

“He learned for the first time that there are people who want to kill Jews. It wasn’t abstract.

“We were taken, because of the nature of my work, to see the last bus blown up by the Palestinian terrorists in which eight people were murdered and many maimed. He didn’t have a supercilious attitude. He saw holes in the seats where human beings were maimed and killed.

“He told me at times that he was nervous when we drove by a bus. I’m happy for that. Life isn’t just Dragon Ball Z cartoons. He’s old enough now.

“He slept perfectly well at night. He didn’t have nightmares.

“He even worried about eating in any restaurant. He was happy when we went to restaurants where there weren’t a lot of people because he understood that they want to blow up a lot of people. I told him about choseness and that this is the price we pay but look at how everybody goes around normally.

“He saw the fence being built. He asked a tremendous number of questions.

“This was my 15th trip to Israel. It has always been a religious battery-charger for me. I am the battery-charger for a lot of people. People tune in to me and I charge them up as Americans, Christians, Jews, but I’ve got to get my batteries charged too.”

“My son [David] went there at the height of the terror and it changed his life. He said, ‘Dad, before I went, pretty much the biggest issue in my life was would the Lakers win another championship. And now the biggest issues in my life have to do with God, good and evil.’

“That’s pretty good for eight months abroad. That’s what Israel would do when you’re studying Torah in Jerusalem and you hear the blasts three times in a year, you hear people blown up. You take life seriously. There are epic battles going on with Israel as the fulcrum.”

In his 22nd lecture on Deuteronomy, Dennis says: “The trick in life is to learn from the normal. There’s not that much to learn from the abnormal.”

Dennis says he now reads the instruction manual to everything he buys because he finds it very helpful. He looks at the Torah as an instruction manual for life.

Animal Sacrifice Was A Good Thing

In a lecture on Deuteronomy 12 delivered in 2004, Dennis Prager says: “I was in my twenties on an airplane. I was sitting next to a woman who had a vegetarian meal. I asked her if she was a vegetarian. I asked why. She said, we humans have no right to kill animals to eat them. After all, who are we humans to think we are more valuable than animals?

“That shook me to the core. That’s when I came up with the question I thought was rhetorical. I said, You don’t really mean that. If a dog and a human were drowning, which would you save first?

“And she thought.

“I’ll never forget the silence. I said, I’m sorry, did you hear my question?

“She said, I’m thinking.

“When she said, I’m thinking, I concluded at that moment, either I’m sitting next to a nutty woman, which I did not believe, or she reflects what is happening in our secular age.”

Dennis Prager says: “I see animal sacrifice as a good thing. It teaches you that animal life can’t be wasted. It must be honored. That’s why you can’t eat the blood. It represents the being of the animal. The Torah is saying, you can have the carcass, I get the life. The blood is the soul.”

“The Nazis were very pro-animal. The most developed animal rights movement in the Western world prior to modern contemporary Europe and US was Nazi Germany. Nazi Germany banned vivisection. They banned experiments on animals, but they fostered experiments on humans.”

“The Nazis were the strongest anti-smoking culture prior to our own. This Princeton professor has interesting cartoons from the Nazi press, including of animals going ‘Heil Hitler’ in gratitude to the Nazis for their anti-vivisection policy.”

Jeff emails: The fact that the Nazis supported or didn’t support some general idea does not mean anything. The Nazis produced the first low priced car, does that mean that Jews have to buy expensive cars? The Nazis were correct in banning smoking as a health issue, does that mean that all Jews should smoke? That’s such a half witted argument. Does Mr. Prager never wear brown colored shirts? Besides, that’s a myth, the Nazis had SS candidates raise dogs and then kill them to make themselves cruel.

Anyway, it evades the point. Rav Kook, who was not a Nazi as far as I can tell, and Rav Tzadok HaCohen of Lublin, probably also not one to suspect of Nazi leanings, both were vegetarians, and both argued that the whole purpose of the kosher laws was to make meat difficult to eat, and that in perfected time after the arrival of the moshiach, all of mankind would be vegetarian, just as it was in Eden before Adam’s sin. In theory in Torah Judaism meat was only allowed after the flood, and according to the Torah text, only in the context of a sacrifice.

Frankly, I find R. KookÂ’s chazon hatzimchonut to be very compelling, more compelling than anything Prager wrote, certainly more likely to endure, and as a child of survivors I don’t like Mr. Prager to accuse me of being a Nazi as a result.

The Left Make The News

On his radio show today, Dennis Prager says: “The left make the news. The left believe the news. Then the left legislates on the news… That’s everything you need to know about everything you read [in the MSM].”

Don’t Let Yourself Go

I enjoy beauty and when I have to look at a fat slob, it bums me out.

So ladies, shape up!

Guys, shape up!

We can’t take others for granted. We owe them our best.

On his radio show today, Dennis Prager relays a story about hanging out at Juniors deli in Westwood. He saw a sign advertising Playboy’s Miss May. So Dennis wanders over to meet her. There are three women sitting at the table. There are big posters featuring Miss May.

Dennis stares at the women and then asks a bloke, “Which one is Miss May?”

When actresses and models don’t have make-up on, most of the time they look ordinary.

“It is a woman’s obligation to her husband, just as men have obligations to their wives, to keep yourself as attractive as you can.”

“It is one of the ways you say to your husband, I love you and I don’t take you for granted. If you let yourself go, it’s a statement to most men that I take you for granted.”

“I will point out to my wife a woman in an ad or even in a restaurant who I think is attractive, or one of the waitresses, and my wife will be stunned because she’s so normal looking.

“A man’s freedom to say this to his wife is a blessing. The definition of friend is someone you can say everything to. If a man has to bottle that up…”

“My wife will say, you find those legs attractive? But look at the thighs.”
