Is Iran Mankind’s Enemy?

Dennis Prager writes: Iran today is America’s greatest enemy, Israel’s greatest enemy, the Jewish people’s greatest enemy and the greatest enemy of moral civilization.
There is, apparently, no evil that the Iranian Islamic regime will not engage in to further its ends.
It is one of the only countries in the world that supports North Korea, the most monstrous regime (in terms of how it mistreats its own citizens). North Korea is effectively the world’s largest prison, run by a sick and diabolic cult for whom the starvation of its own citizens is as little concern as it was to Mao Zedong, who inflicted death by starvation on upward of 60 million Chinese, selling the food they produced to the Soviets for industrial and military goods.
Most of the world has ostracized North Korea, but not Iran, which has signed military agreements with the North Korean regime. It is one of the ways (we do not know all of them) by which Iran can circumvent any agreements it signs with the West in order to avoid sanctions.
As the Christian Science Monitor reported on Sept. 20, 2012:
“North Korea and Iran appear to be increasing their dealings in nuclear technology and missiles with each other under a breakthrough agreement reached between the two nations in Tehran three weeks ago. ‘It’s likely the tempo of shipments of technology to Iran has increased,’ says Bruce Bechtol, a former United States intelligence official and author of two books and other studies on North Korea’s military buildup. ‘We have seen a large number of North Korean scientists visiting Iran.’
“At the heart of this catchall listing, in the view of analysts here, lies a commitment for North Korea to step up shipments of missiles and other arms to Iran, along with technology.
“North Korean scientists were providing the technology and Iran the cash for building the nuclear reactor in Syria that Israeli planes bombed in September 2007.
“ ‘North Korea is the seller, not the buyer,’ he [Bechtol] says, and in that role ‘continues to assist Iran in its highly enriched uranium program by providing scientists, centrifuge technology, and even raw materials.’ North Korea, he notes, is rich in raw uranium and other natural resources.”

As reported by the Jerusalem Post this week:
“A senior German defense figure said in a report this week that Iran may be significantly further ahead in its nuclear weapons program than public intelligence assessments have so far suggested. Hans Ruhle, who directed the planning department of the German Defense Ministry from 1982 to 1988, argued that Iran may have been involved in the detonation of an experimental uranium nuclear bomb in North Korea in 2010.”
Iran’s intimate relations with North Korea reveal two things about Iran. One is that it is hell bent on producing nuclear weapons. The other is that it has no compunctions about supporting a sociopathic dictatorship that enslaves all its people and tortures and kills many of them. In other words, Iran is led by vile men who seek nuclear weapons above all else.
That President Barack Obama and the Europeans think they can negotiate a deal with Iran that would halt that country’s movement toward nuclear weapons is breathtaking in its naivete and self-deceit.

Dennis Prager Loses Hope For Peace With The Palestinians

Dennis Prager writes: …Palestinian men reflected two characteristics of the Arab world and parts of the larger Muslim world: one is the lack of acknowledgement that Muslims are committing atrocities; the other is the prevalence of conspiratorial theories to explain many major events. Not only is Islamic State an Israeli and American operation, so was Sept. 11. Likewise, AIDS in Egypt is popularly blamed on Israeli prostitutes. And almost all Egyptians, including the Egyptian government, deny despite overwhelming evidence from the cockpit voice recorder that the Egyptian co-pilot deliberately crashed Egypt Air Flight 990 into the ocean in 1999. Egyptians blame it on Boeing.
My respondents live in the conspiratorial fantasy world that exists in much of the Arab world. Peace simply cannot be made with people who deny reality. Just as World War II was rendered inevitable because of the fantasy world that Germans lived in after their defeat in World War I.
To the question of whether peace is possible, all three said it is — provided Jews, Christians and Palestinians live together . . . under Muslim rule. One of them described such a society; it was exactly as outlined in the Quran and medieval Muslim theology. Muslims and Christians would be allowed have their own communities and pay the jizya. He actually used the word jizya, which refers to the tax that the Quran demands dhimmi (Jews and Christians) pay.
As is written in the Quran (9.29): “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture — [fight] until they give the jizya willingly while they are humbled.”
Another one of the men spoke eloquently about all people getting along irrespective of religious identity, and no one imposing their specific religious practices on anyone else. And then he added that, after all, “You are a Muslim; everyone who submits to God is a Muslim.”
When added to everything else the three Palestinians told me, and to what the chief spokesman for the Palestinian Authority told me three years ago in Ramallah — that there is no such thing as the Jewish people, only the Jewish religion — it is close to impossible to imagine Palestinians accepting a Jewish state.

Still Keen On President Obama?

Dennis Prager writes: 1. President Obama refuses to identify the greatest world evil since Nazism and communism. We all know it is a variation on Islam, whether it is called “radical Islam,” “Islamism,” “Muslim extremism” or “jihadis.” But the president, his administration, and the State Department all refuse to use any of those terms. Instead, the only term permitted is “violent extremism.”
This past week, President Obama convened an international summit in Washington, D.C., which he called “Countering Violent Extremism.” Not once in his description of the event did he use any word related to Islam. Not “Muslim,” or “Islamic,” or “jihadist” or “Islamist,” or “radical Islamist” or anything else identifying the fact that virtually all the “violent extremism” in the world to today is carried out by Muslims.
2. President Obama removed American troops from Iraq, enabling Islamic State to conquer about one-third of Iraq, and a similarly large portion of Syria. The president and his defenders blame then-president of Iraq, Nouri al-Maliki, for excluding Iraq’s Sunnis from power sharing and blame former President George W. Bush for invading Iraq in the first place. But whatever one thinks of Maliki or of the original decision to invade, the reason Islamic State took over much of Iraq was Obama’s insistence on abandoning Iraq.
3. On Feb. 10, President Obama described the murderers of Jews in the Parisian kosher grocery as “a bunch of violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shoot a bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.” For some reason, in that interview, he couldn’t mention that they were Jews, murdered because they were Jews.
4. President Obama was asked by the left-wing Internet site Vox, “Do you think the media sometimes overstates the level of alarm people should have about terrorism and this kind of chaos, as opposed to a longer-term problem of climate change and epidemic disease?”
The president’s response: “Absolutely.”
5. Many tens of thousands of people have been killed by radical Muslims; Boko Haram now controls an area in West Africa the size of Belgium; Islamist butchers compete with one another over who can engage in the greater atrocity, European terror is becoming routine; Al-Shabaab calls on American Muslims to murder people in the Mall of America; vast numbers of girls are kidnapped and sold as sex slaves; and the president of the United States thinks the press overstates the threat of Islamist terror while understating the threat of climate change.
6. In that interview, President Obama entertained the possibility that in Iran, “according to their Supreme Leader, it would be contrary to their faith to obtain a nuclear weapon.”
How deep does the president’s naiveté about evil go?

From Ferguson to Netanyahu

Dennis Prager writes: Remember the “Hands up, don’t shoot” narrative that dominated American media and all of the protests against a white officer’s shooting of Michael Brown, a Black teenager in Ferguson, Mo.?
It was all a lie.
Never happened.
Yet, media personalities, NFL players, and even congressional representatives employed the arms-up gesture and recited the mantra “Hands up, don’t shoot” for the television cameras. And even after the Justice Department released a report thoroughly refuting both the lie and Brown’s victim status, President Barack Obama has made multiple references to Ferguson in his speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Selma march — as if there were all sorts of moral parallels.
That lie ruined a city’s economy, not to mention the livelihood and life of an innocent policeman. And, of course, it gave those Black Americans resentful toward America another reason to express anger at white America.
But that hysteria is small scale compared to the hysteria fomented against Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s voters for his having won an election he was supposed to lose.
This hysteria — whipped up by the (Jewish as much as non-Jewish) left and especially by the president of the United States — has allowed this president to weaken the bonds between America and Israel more than at any time in the 66 years of Israel’s existence.
The vitriol directed against Netanyahu and Israel is allegedly based on two comments Netanyahu made in Israel shortly before the election.
One was about a Palestinian state:
“The right-wing rule is in danger. The Arab voters are coming in great numbers to the polling stations. The left-wing nonprofit organizations are bringing them in buses. Go out to the polling stations, bring your friends and family, and vote Mahal [Likud] in order to close the gap between us and the Labor Party.”
The president of the United States and most if not all of America’s and Israel’s left repeatedly describe this as “racist” and
anti-democratic.
That is a lie.
There is nothing racist or anti-democratic about the comment.
If “racist” actually means something — other than being useful as a left-wing epithet with which to regularly describe right-wingers (in America as well as Israel) — there is not a hint of racism in the comment. How exactly are Arab Israelis depicted negatively in this comment? Do not Democrats in America regularly inveigh against “old white males”?
Nor is there a hint of disenfranchising Arab Israelis. The message to Netanyahu’s followers was simply an appeal to get to the polls because his political opponents appeared to be ensuring that as many Arab voters as possible got to the polls where they were expected to vote against him and his party.
Yet, not only is the accusation false, the comment on which it is based is almost universally mistranslated. Almost all citations of the phrase use the term “in droves” or, less frequently, “hordes of.” Both terms are far more derogatory than what Netanyahu actually said — “in great numbers” (kamuyot adirot). But because “great numbers” of Arab voters sounds considerably less disrespectful, the Western press prefers “in droves” and “hordes.” That’s how they can charge Netanyahu with “racism” never implied in the original Hebrew — by manipulating his words in translation.
On the day of the Israeli election, March 17, The New York Times correctly translated Netanyahu: “Right-wing rule is in danger. Arab voters are streaming in huge quantities to the polling stations.” But it has since joined the other mainstream media in using the inaccurate and loaded translation, “in droves.”

* Social media is a powerful tool.
One reason the Left is winning is the Right doesn’t fight out of fear.

On Facebook all my lefty friends and family use their real names as they spew SJW crap and call everybody racist, sexist, homophobic scum. They don’t seem the slightest bit worried about their jobs being threatened.

My righty friends and family mostly keep quiet on Facebook. Terrified of saying the wrong thing.

But abandoning the battlefield guarantees victory for the other side. 90% of success is showing up. The Left shows up in the daily Facebook/Twitter wars.

* He knew that the information people would concentrate on is the fact that the has three children to support. The apology was a means to convey that information to the public. And it worked.

I, and every other adult male I know, make sexual (and sometimes sexist) jokes all the time. Especially during boring conferences. I also have three children. I am not a developer, but when I read the article I thought “It could have been me.”

Adria Richards is a nasty woman who eavesdrops on other people’s private conversations, then goes public about what she heard, even publishing pictures, to do MAXIMUM HARM to others. She had no second thoughts about ruining the life of a guy she didn’t even know. Who would want to work with such a person? I wouldn’t. Because she’s dangerous.

I guess that most female developers understood the message: “If you want to work with men, don’t be dangerous for them.”

* I see this kind of short sightedness mostly on the left because they are so convinced that they are totally right and that they will alway be in power because history is on their side or something.

You saw that in Richards who felt confident lashing out but was totally blindsided and amazed when the blowback came.

You see that in the Senate where Reid changed centuries old rules regarding the filibuster in order to achieve short term advantage, with no concern about what that would mean for Democrats in the distant future once they were again in the minority (which turned out to be a whole two years later).

It does not seem to occur to them that establishing the principle that it is OK to cause people who hold opinions or sing songs or tell jokes that you find disagreeable to lose their jobs, be expelled from college, etc. might someday come back to bite them.

Everything that they believe in is right, so how could you ever be punished for holding a correct opinion? And why should people of good conscience be made to feel unsafe in their school or workplace by having to tolerate those whose views are just plain wrong?

It never occurs to them that they could end up being on the other side of this equation as the ones considered “wrong”, because clearly (in their heads) they are and always will be right. If their views weren’t correct, they wouldn’t have them in the first place.

* The Greek-English idea was that argument should be a sport. They did pretty well for themselves out of it.

When some USC student government leaders voiced support for creating a cultural house for black students, Ama Amoafo-Yeboah thought that she and other undergraduates were closer to having a space where they could hang out and hold events.
But before a vote was held, word spread that the house could be located on the Row, USC’s two-block stretch of fraternities and sororities near 28th and Figueroa streets. Social media lit up.
“Why would they open a prison on the Row?” one user asked on Yik Yak, a popular social media app that allows anonymous comments from users within a 1.5-mile radius.

* How would you like an African American heritage house on your block? As opposed to a Jewish/Chinese/Korean/Latino/Islamic heritage house?

Friend: “Saw a bunch a black people turning a historic house into a mosque the other day though.”

Susan: How would you like an Aussie moving in to your neighbourhood and setting up a humpy?

* After congratulating the Mexican for the second time today on Cesar Chavez day, I told him that I considered him white and he gave me a strange look because he evidently considered himself Mexican and not white, even though he looks white and he sounds white and acts white. I thought I was giving him a compliment but I don’t want to commit cultural genocide.

What’s The ACLU Up To These Days?

* The ACLU opposes censorship of library books, but supports making libraries unbearable to visit by representing horrible-smelling homeless people who want to hang out all day in the library.

In my experience, librarians are really nice people. I trust them to not wantonly kick people out who are not causing any harm or disruption. But the ACLU is OK with turning them into de facto homeless shelters / bum-computer-porn-masterbation safe places.

* People generally get the interest rates they deserve.

* Rip-off loans is where banker scumbaggery and IQ denialism profitably intersect.

Good paternalistic liberals like Senator Warren just want to ban payday loans, which often feature 7,000% interest rates.

The banks, however, insist the solution is “financial education.” Rather than cap interest rates, let’s protect the IQ<85 set by forcing schools to try to teach them concepts like present value, compound interest, and amortization.* No they give good rates because they know Blacks and Hispanics aren’t good loan prospects, many lie out their ass, are flakey and often abuse the merchandise or just drive it down to Mexico where it disappears and the driver vanishes.Or they let it get stolen and stripped to the frame, The frame ends up at a auto salvage auction where it’s sold for pennies on the dollar to the same people who stole and stripped it. Since they have all the parts, they put it back together and sell it for a nice profit and it’s legal as can be. I used to see it all the time at the auctions. No one dared bid on the frames except the thieves.Now some dealers make serious bank dealing with deadbeats. We got this one dealer where I live who specializes into selling and scamming deadbeat Mexicans and Blacks and it’s made him rich. First off he does his own financing(which looks good but isn’t), two he installs a tracker in each vehicle so he knows where they are at all times. When a buyer has trouble making payments, he calls them in saying the car is due for a free preventative maintenance check, the driver shows up, he escorts him/her into a office, while a employee repossessed the car. When the buyer walks out the car is gone. Then the car is cleaned up and put back on the lot for sale.* When I was still in high school I would sub in for my older sister who taught remedial math at the local community college. (It was a small town in the 90′s, things like that happened.) The students were working adults who wanted to better themselves going to school at night, and it was just heartbreaking to see them unable to do long division and multiplication of 3 digit numbers when they really tried hard to do so.These are the people the payday loan scumbags target. The ones who have a steady paycheck than can steal away so easily by having them sign forms they don’t understand. Another prime target for high-interest loans are fresh military recruits, often 18-year-olds from rural areas who have never had a bank account, and are seduced by retired officers who sign up as the salesmen for payday loan places and sleazy auto lenders.* I am not libertarian, but I find that laws seldom prevent stupid people from doing stupid things.It seems to me that, when looking at out-of-wedlock birth rates and such historically, there was a time when even the “IQ<85 set" didn't engage in as reckless behaviors as they do now. The answer seems to be social-cultural constraint of negative (short-sighted) behaviors, rather than arbitrarily capping numbers (which, once established as a precedent, can always be set lower still).When the "IQ<85 set" had intact families and fathers at home, they seemed to have learned through oral tradition if not school home economics classes that obtaining usurious loans was not a good idea.* Back when I first started buying cars, with no down payment, no credit rating, and desperate because I was married with small children, I ended up paying a 40% markup from the list price over the course of a loan. She still lives in an apartment, not much savings, living check to check. I explained all she needed to know. The what, how, and why of it, over and over and over. She was too stupid to hear a thing. So this “educate them” business isn’t all some make it out to be.If you’re too stupid, you will sit and nod your head while something is explained to you, and you will still do the stupid thing.* I bought a pretty nice used car last year and paid precisely what I considered its reasonable value. Afterward, I was bragging to a buddy who’s an ad man about my hard negotiation tactics and he said, “We’re the sort of customers that dealerships hate, because we actually know what the car’s worth”– “we” meaning white guys. He explained that black guys pay a good deal more than it’s worth “and not because of racism, but because they want to brag about how much they paid.”

Michael Richards says the N-word in a nite-club act – any potential friends or defenders run and hide – is crucified on national news – and must go on a teary-eyed apology tour.

This guy is a half-black ( symbolizing a stand-in for Barack Obama, psychologically for progressives ) – South African ( favored nation status ) and ready to join the Holy Grail for progressives – Daily Show.

* Distasteful, and not very good jokes aside, do we really need yet another foreign (Canadians don’t count) comedian getting a major hosting job where the can lecture the USA on everything that is wrong with us while ignoring how screwed up the rest of the world is. This is three in the last year by my count, 2 Brits and now a South African. It’s not like there is a lack of American comedians who hate America.

* I think the reason this is so disturbing (to me, YMMV), is that all the Daily Show correspondents so far have been like Caesar’s wife and beyond reproach in how they conduct themselves. Even if you disagree with their politics, or find them unfunny,
From Colbert to Carrell to Wiltmore to even Jason Jones (the most bro-y, frat boy like of them all), I don’t get the sense that they are terrible people, or that they go after low hanging fruit when it comes to comedy. Even when they skirt the line, I trust their intent.

With this Noah person, I dont feel the same way. Maybe I’m mistaken and these tweets and what have you are taken out of context. But he’s on probation as far as I’m concerned.

Steve Sailer: When the Mafia Got as Organized as the ADL

Steve Sailer writes: The Simon Wiesenthal Center and L.A.’s Museum of Tolerance were co-founded by the late subprime mortgage robber baron Roland Arnall, who got extra rich talking Latino immigrants into taking on high interest mortgages they couldn’t afford. I give Angelo Mozilo of Countrywide and Kerry Killinger of Washington Mutual a lot of grief, but they were really quality businessmen who were slowly seduced over to the dark side by their greed, their ambition, and modern America’s diversity mindset. In contrast, Arnall, as far as I can tell, was a pirate, the worst of the worst in making subprime mortgages into a national catastrophe.

So you can see the dilemma. Much of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s money originated in Roland Arnall tricking immigrant peons into ruinous loans (Arnall’s Ameriquest got fined $250,000,000 by state attorneys general, even while Congress was approving his nomination as ambassador), so immigration is good because it brings in Fresh Meat; but immigration into Europe is getting Jews murdered, so immigration is bad for the Jews.

This is hardly an insoluble dilemma, but it is disquieting to ethnocentric Jewish liberals in the media, few of whom had thought analytically about immigration before 2015. With their “huddled masses” schmaltz they’d largely succeeded in demonizing skepticism about immigration, shifting the Overton Window so far that sensible thinking about immigration security seems like Hitlerism to today’s youth of color.

But maybe media moguls have gone a little too far in hate-mongering against immigration restrictionists? Perhaps it would be more prudent to hedge their bets, to diversify their portfolios so that if it turns out that immigration needs to be restricted, they’ll have somebody to deal with.

You can see the problem in France after the anti-Semitic massacres in January, where ethnocentric liberal Jewish journalists, like Jeffrey Goldberg in the Atlantic article cited by Weinstein, have had to make Strange New Respect pilgrimages to Marine Le Pen because the National Front is the only party that has dared to have practical policy proposals.

Anyway, Harvey’s demand that Jews “are gonna have to get as organized as the mafia” reminds me of the year when the mafia got as organized as the Anti-Defamation League.

* It seems to me that the preferred Jewish strategy is to double down on Holocaust Indoctrination. Make sure that Blacks and Mestizos and Arab Muslims know that Christian Whites are fair game, but Jews are off-limits.

* Mr. Sailer, the trouble with mass psychology is that it cannot be calibrated perfectly (or even well). Mass feelings tend to gyrate wildly, overshooting to one end and then to the other.

I don’t think people really appreciate what has been happening in the Democrat Party. It’s been completely taken over by radicals who think the Weathermen had the right idea, juts poor execution. The rest of the political is just starting to catch on, but they are still lost as to what to do about it.

History says the Jews are always too late catching on to avert disaster. The recent concern by American Jews about what’s happening in The Cult suggests maybe it is too late to pull out of this dive.

* Translation: if Arabs and muslims were as easy to guilt-trip and shame into submission as whites and as apathetic as latinos I wouldn’t be saying all this – but dammit, they’re not.

* That Jews talk about the need to “get as organized as the mafia”, this presupposes 1) Jews are disorganized in protecting their interests, and 2) the Italian mafia provides a good example of organized, collective ethnic defense. Of course, on both counts, either Weinstein knows he’s being ridiculous (the inside joke and irony much be witnessed first hand, I suppose) or Weinstein believes that movies are real and reality is not. Which of course makes Steve’s history of Joe Colombo’s organizing in 1970 all the more delicious. God, it must be wonderful to always be controlling the bullhorn.

Hoover was right all along. Whether the “mafia” existed wasn’t, has never been the issue. The issue was/is whether the “mafia” was worthy of the attention of national law enforcement. And of course it wasn’t. It simply diverted massive resources and focus of the FBI from the internal threat posed by communist elements at all levels of government and the civil rights movement to chasing around 4th and 8th grade educated Southern Italians and Sicilians. I mean, when you really study the FBI’s efforts against the “mafia” you realize what a complete waste of time it was. Nothing the FBI did could not have been addressed by local law enforcement. Same now of course with all the of anti-terrorism mumbo-jumbo while trillions were/are stolen by Wall Street. It’s funny how the left has benefited quite a bit by diverting the FBI’s attention to hyper-threats of its own fevered imagination.

But the poor Italians have always been put forward to play the role of ultimate criminals and threats to society. It’s our national folklore, an established fact in our national psyche. Such a joke. Wiki says Weinstein’s dad was a diamond-cutter, which suggests a more working class background for the Weinsteins, which suggests that if you dug more deeply I’m pretty sure you’d find just a few generations back not a few of Weinstein’s ancestors involved in a lot of crime, organized and otherwise. For the real organized crime of this country you need go no further than the early Jews of the 20s – 50s in the ghettos of the Northeast. Even now all of those “Russian” criminals and scam artists–it’s just too ridiculous.

* Ross Macdonald for example wrote a lot of thrillers about organized crime – and even if the thugs are often obvious Italians, the masterminds behind are obvious non-Italians with some unidentifiable European background. I suppose that he knew what he meant but didn’t want to be more precise.

* Maybe a number of wealthy American Jews visited Morocco, and dreamed that the USA could be like Morocco in the future. Morocco is a great place for French Jews. Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Bernard-Henri Lévy have luxurious villas, named ‘ria’ in Moroccan Arabic, where they take their vacations. They live like nabobs there, surrounded by submissive Moroccan servants.

The king of Morocco is very chummy with French leaders: when Nicolas Sarkozy lost the presidency, the king offered him a large ria. Jacques Chirac also used to vacation in Morocco.

Morocco is also one of the favorite destination of wealthy French pedophiles.

* Along with Harvey’s numerous and admirable pro-Jewish films, there seems to be another theme that he’s fixated on. Below are a few other movies in his production portfolio:

1995 – “Priest,” A drama of debauched Catholic priests fighting homosexual urges and various crises’ of faith

1998 – “The Butcher Boy,” with a cursing Sinead O’Connor as the Virgin Mary.

1999 – “Dogma,” a comedy with gags about a descendant of Mary and Joseph working in an abortion clinic. Featuring Alanis Morisette as god.

2002 – “40 Days and 40 Nights,” a comedy revolving around the gag of Catholics giving up sex for Lent.

2002 – “The Magdalene Sisters,” a story of illegitimate children left in the clutches of evil Catholic nuns

2003, “Bad Santa” – opened for the for the Christmas season with Santa as a chain-smoking, foul-mouthed, suicidal, sexual predator.

2006, “Black Christmas” a horror with a bleak take on the holiday season

2013 – “Philomena,” another out-of-wedlock pregnancy story with nuns and the Catholic Church as villians.

That’s a lot of Christian focused films for one Jewish man to finance. And he’s still relatively young. If he loses some weight and looks out for his health…we might get even more of this wonderful output from Harvey!

Maybe It ‘s not the Jews who need to get organized ‘like the mafia’. It’s the non-Jews who need to get more alert and organized.

* I think Jews, or at least the HochJuden, see White Christians, especially males, as their most dangerous adversary. Anything diluting their homogeneity is therefore good. The discomfiture of some low-level Jews deriving from – for example – mass Muslim immigration is therefore deemed an acceptable price in the context of the overall strategic objective.

For example Barbara Lerner Specter is working hard than ever to swamp Sweden with Third World detritus while simultaneously bemoaning the treatment of that country’s Jews by the Religion Of Peace.

* Does Israel really need a Holocaust museum? Isn’t the whole country a Holocaust museum?

I’ve never been to a Museum of Tolerance, but I assume they’re the disappointing type of museum largely filled with blown-up photos, audio and video presentations, and a large gift shop full of books. There’s only so many Holocaust relics to go around, and now that there has to be a Museum of Tolerance in every major city they must be in short supply.

There’s an industry manufacturing authentic-looking Nazi uniforms and accoutrements for those who are into that. Is it possible someone will start manufacturing authentic-looking yellow stars and concentration-camp prisoner uniforms to market to the burgeoning Museum of Tolerance industry? Could be a good niche for someone to exploit. (It’s probably actually being done right now and I just haven’t read about it.)

* Yeah, a Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem does seem bizarre. Not because the Israelis are intolerant, particularly. They are just race loyal.

What is bizarre is that they permit the museum to open knowing that its function is to break down the dominant group (Jews, in this case) and empower minorities.

The only thing stranger would be to require special Nakba education in Israeli schools the way American schools require special Holocaust education.

* My son, in middle school, has been going over the Holocaust in great detail for almost 6 weeks now. They just finished Boy in the Striped Pajamas and completed accompanying worksheets. They’re watching the Devils Arithmetic and already read Anne Franks Diary. Apparently the teacher has emphasized to these 13 and 14 year olds that this focus in necessary so that “something like this never happens again”. No mention of Stalin or Pol Pot or Rwanda, etc. I don’t remember spending that much time on any part of history in my schooling, even the Revolutionary War period.

* Ridley’s all about the aesthetics. A Japanese -inflected, neo-noir future LA? Uber cool.

A Mexican-inflected, neo-noir future LA? Total crapfest.

One of the reasons why no one likes Elysium is because a Mexican LA is just too disgusting to contemplate.

* Don’t worry. Given that it’s being built on top of an historic Muslim cemetery, it’s pretty clear that the museum’s focus will be on testing tolerance rather than promoting it. The fact that it’s going to be a huge, post-modern, stainless steel, cathedral-like structure; built in one of the most historic and sacred cities in the world –is further evidence for this.

The museum’s promoters argue that the cemetery was abandoned and that there’s no legitimate conflict. But even if that’s true, the idea of building a post-modern temple to tolerance in the wake of sustained, acrimonious litigation and minimal compromise, seems to contradict the very principles which such an institution is supposed to stand for and promote.

The “Center for Human Dignity” as the project is now called, appears to share an important theme with Netanyahu’s “peace process.” That theme is submission.
