* Denmark demonstrates that socialism in the form of a strong welfare state actually works pretty well for a well educated homogeneous population. A Danish professor said a few years ago something to the effect of “we all contribute our share because we are all in the same boat. Immigrants are perceived as a disruptive element who create a threat to the Danish welfare state.”

Denmark’s success is an inconvenient fact both for liberals and libertarians.

The problem for Europe is that Denmark’s success is not easily replicable in other European countries because they are not as ethnically and culturally homogeneous as Europeans seem to think. Germany for example has always been riven by squabbles between the different “tribes”. The economic and military sucess of the Wilhelmine Reich, and then the shared suffering in WWI created an illusion of national unity that Hitler was able to play off, but that has quickly dissipated back into the traditional pattern of everyone being jealous of Bavarians, mistrusting Swabians, despising Saxons and laughing at Saarlanders.

The problem in France and the UK is that both societies are so class driven. The elites feel very little, if any, ethnic solidarity with the working and rural classes, and never have. Like the US, it is easy for political parties to use immigrants as wedges against other native groups you don’t like. The countries with the best chance of replicating the Danish model are places like the Czech Republic or Slovenia.

* Democracy works well only in the city-state. As the city-state grows toward empire, it ruins its ability to have meaningful democracy.

As for the country bumpkins despised and taken advantage of by the urban Elites – Yep. Now think of the antithesis: ancient Athens. Even the time of Socrates, as Athenian democracy was degenerating thanks to imperialism, Athenians still regularly maintained their ties to their agricultural/pastoral roots. Athenian democracy became meaningless as wealthy Athenians lost their ties to the land and thus their respect for those who live and work on the land every day.

* Key social disincentives of socialism:

-Creates complacency in the populace and absolute trust in the state to provide. That discourages spiritual growth and looking to the traditional base of Western spirituality, Christianity for comfort and strength. If Daddy state will always provide for everything, why fuss about few foreigners or that silly thing called the church? Socialism means you never have to grow up in certain ways.

-Socialism makes the traditional Christian work of missionaries (how Christians helped foreigners without mussing up the nest) and providing for the poor merely hobby work. It has little to no meaning in socialized countries, further undermining traditional Christianity

-Women, instead of looking to husbands as providers, look to the state. It is no coincidence that once women gain suffrage that socialism appears. It does appear in places without women’s suffrage, but if socialism didn’t exist before and women get the vote, as sure as the sun rises in the East, it will appear within a few decades.

-What stable, married couples do form find child rearing expensive and pointless. If the state will provide for you in your old age, why not live it up now? Child rearing also becomes “a hobby”. It’s one that people will pressure you not to do a lot of because they’re looking at their tax bill and they don’t want you to be “extravagant” in using the social system. Kids end up s bills not to just their parents, but everyone, rather than the asset we saw them as for most of time.

-The wrong kind of foreigners are attracted to moths like a flame to your generous social system, built primarily for insecure white women fretting about their mid to old age. In some ways, they are less fussy than the women who wanted the system in the first place. Whatever you give them they’ll be okay with living because it’s easier than work, but they will be resentful for it. Remarkably, the white women themselves find the standard of living too low on welfare system..it’s just there for their nightmare scenarios they’ve got running in their heads.

Remember When AIDS Was Going To Destroy Africa?

* Blessedly, Africa is a very large continent, as a glance at a globe will confirm.

By the way, remember all the talk about AIDS, and how AIDS would decimate the African population? Was that just a tool to pry dollars from the West, or did people actually believe that AIDS was that much of an epidemic?

AIDS was also supposed to decimate India and utterly destroy Thailand. None of that happened either. I tend nowadays to believe absolutely nothing that comes from the medical establishment. They have been wrong about nearly everything over the past 50 years.

* This is of course a major problem for Africa and for African people.

It should not HAVE to be a problem for the responsible parts of the world that manage to control their population. But it likely will become our problem given the problems created by a do gooder Christian ethic and the brain dead behavior patterns of the typical white liberal.

The only legitimate state interest that the West should have regarding Africa is to insure that Africans stay in Africa. It is what many black people claim they want anyway–to be free of the racism of whitey.

It is long past time that we treat African people like people–let them control their own destiny.

* Sub-Saharan Africa’s population is going to explode. The Democrat Party is the party of Black America. The looming African population explosion will unfold with dark horrors straight out of a Joseph Conrad book.

The Democrat Party is the party of Muslims and mass immigration. The Democrat Party is a clear and present threat to the safety and security of the United States. The Democrat Party is a threat to the national security of the United States.

White Core Americans(WCA) must fight to take control of the Republican Party. White Core American Patriots must dislodge the globalizer ruling class of the Republican Party. President Trump had the guts and brains to appeal to White Core Americans and Whites Without College Degrees(WWCDs).

Africa’s population explosion will destroy the Democrat Party in the United States.

Please tell me again why a woman such as Hillary Clinton, who professes to love Black Americans so much, does everything she can to remove herself from any and all contact with Black Americans in her personal life. Didn’t Hillary Clinton move to the mostly White town of Chappaqua, New York?

The hypocrisy of leading Democrats regarding Black America is only covered up because the corporate media keeps silent on the matter. Patriots in the Republican Party must take control of the corporate media megaphone in the United States.

* No offense, Steve, but this is only the “World’s Most Important Graph” to suicidially idiotic Western countries that don’t control their own borders and have lost their ability to think tribally. This graph is a curiousity to the Japanese, Koreans, Chinese and any other people who understand the concept and utility of a fence.

What Africans choose to do in their own countries should be of no concern of mine. It’s why we have separate countries.

Europe and the United States deserve their fate if they allow in millions of low-IQ, short time horizon, wholly incompatible Africans. A better example of Survival of Fittest you likely will never see. It’s not Survival of the Smartest or Survival of the Most Cultured or Survival of the Nicest. It’s fucking Survival of Fittest, survival of those best suited for that particular environment.

Right now, Africans are the most suited for this environment. Ironically, it’s an environment created by whites, but that’s irrelevant for the time being. Whites created the environment that caused them to decline and Africans to succeed. Darwin must be laughing somewhere – in between his tears.

* The Gates Foundation and other private charitable groups have been promoting family planning in Africa for years. The problem is that the African people just don’t seem to care for it. Most of them have never been fond of concepts like monogamy or anything else that would limit their own pleasure. The inability to convince Africans to change their personal behavior is the reason why there has been such limited success in reducing the rates HIV infection in Africa.

* Sub Saharan Africa is almost eight times as big as India in land area, and India now supports 1.3 billion people.

To be sure I don’t think there’s any place in SSA that matches the agricultural productivity of the Ganges valley but still, I think 4 billion should be within Africa’s capacity to support, assuming trade and technological links remain with the outside world, and global warming remains moderate.

* Some of the richest men in the world (Gates, Buffett, Turner, Bloomberg, and of course Soros) are big fans of population control to the point of obsession. Highbrow novelist Jonathan Franzen and lowbrow thriller writer Dan Brown both followed up their big successes of the last decade with novels in which the importance of population control was a key point. I don’t know where Steve gets this idea that the issue has been forgotten or buried. The globalist elite (that people at this site usually despise) loves population control.

Natives In The Military

* Anyone who’s served in the Army and Marines has met dozens of Natives. Modern Native culture is *INCREDIBLY* “little c” conservative. It’s almost amazing, it feels like you’re talking to a character reenactor “playing a 1950s guy”. They join the armed forces in vastly disproportionate numbers, they are genteel and polite to an almost fault, they still hold on to lofty American values almost everyone else abandoned. Every one, to a man, I met did an amazing job of simultaneously holding two identities, Tribal and American, without cognitive dissonance or (((loyalty problems))). And all of them, uniformly, believed that The White Man’s Science could co-exist with Native ways where possible but that deference should be afforded to White Man’s Science when they conflicted.

* From what I have read, the upper tier Indians left the reservations and rapidly dispersed into the larger population. I have one modern anecdote to support this. Back in the 1980s I had a co-worker who was born on a Mohawk reservation in New York. She was smart and socially aware enough to observe that all the girls got raped after puberty. So when she hit puberty she ran away from home and made her way to a social services office and got in foster care. She married a white guy and has a good life.

NYT: ‘Australia Grapples With Campus Assaults, and Reprisals Against Victims’

New York Times: “A January report by the advocacy group End Rape on Campus Australia found that universities had frequently failed to support victims of sexual assault and harassment.”

Why should universities support those who make claims to being victims? Why is that the university’s mandate? I thought the university’s mandate was fostering scholarship.

About 15 years ago, an acquaintance of mine, the journalist David Hoffman, moved to Europe to fight sex trafficking and to get laid. He ended up in jail for six months and came back to the States and committed suicide.

New York Times: “But many students question the universities’ commitment. They say that it is still common for complaints to linger without a university response; for men accused of, say, rating women’s bodies on social media to receive little punishment; and for there to be little coordination at a national level.”

Why should there be punishment for men rating women’s bodies on social media?

NYT: “The activists say their demands are reasonable: a university hotline that offers help from a trained trauma professional, required sexual consent training and a clear and transparent system for adjudicating complaints.”

I think these activists need to read F. Roger Devlin’s book Sexual Utopia in Power.

NYT: “In the most recent scandal, a student at St. Paul’s, an elite residential college, posted a screed on Facebook comparing sex with large women to “harpooning a whale” and offering advice on how to “get rid of some chick” after “rooting” her.”

Why is that a scandal?

The New York Times does not include one skeptical perspective about these activists. The article concludes:

Then the personal photos that decorated her dorm door started disappearing, one a day.
“What hurt so much was the fact that people I lived with, whom I had come to think of as my family, would purposely try to make me feel like scum,” she said. “They were trying, albeit in a pretty pathetic and cowardly way, to run me out of my home.”
Finally, when there was only one picture left, Ms. Landis-Hanley took it down herself.
As she wrote on Facebook, “I was taken to hospital that night for being suicidal.”

It sounds like many of these sheilas are bonkers.

SAN FRANCISCO — The artist John Criscitello of Seattle first became angry a few years ago about the changes in his beloved neighborhood, Capitol Hill, historically the city’s enclave for gay men and lesbians. The area had become decidedly more straight and, in his view, infuriatingly obnoxious.
“On Friday and Saturday nights, it’s like Mardi Gras,” Mr. Criscitello said. He called the area “a puke-and-leave drinking destination” for the city’s young heterosexuals, who seemingly have little regard for, and some hostility toward, the gay people who have lived there since the 1960s.

LAT: ‘Lyft Shuttle: Another Silicon Valley effort to shelter the well-off from those pesky poor people’

It sounds to me like a service to help non-blacks get away from blacks.

For people who ride public transport, all the low-lifes, transients, parolees and welfare users on board make the experience miserable, and a disproportionate number of these low-performers are black. Non-blacks will not use public transport with large numbers of lower class blacks, if they have a choice. Non-blacks don’t like to live around lower class blacks and do all they can to avoid black neighborhoods and large numbers of blacks in almost any context.

Given the astronomical black crime rate, this might be a rational choice, even if many individual blacks are wonderful.

Los Angeles Times:

According to Pew Research Center data, “Americans who are lower-income, black or Hispanic, immigrants or under 50 are especially likely to use public transportation on a regular basis.” Meanwhile ride-hailing apps, reports Pew, are especially popular among college grads with incomes above $75,000 a year. You don’t need a route map to see where this is going.
Lyft, for its part, has carefully avoided the word “bus.” But whatever we call it, Lyft Shuttle is just another way that wealthier Americans are paying for reliable and convenient services rather than demanding improvements to existing public goods.
Services like Lyft are also giving customers the ability to live insulated from those who have less money. That’s a time-honored tradition. To take just a few examples:
The Los Angeles Country Club: A park without poor people. Do you love to socialize outdoors but shudder at the thought of a less-than-pristine restroom situation, a raucous barbecue nearby, or a germy drinking fountain? Try this innovative, membership-based solution.
Carbon Beach: A beach without poor people. Ok, so technically it’s a public beach, but with confusing signage and a hostile attitude toward strangers who happen to venture onto the sand, it’s effectively private. Sunbathe without ever having to worry about bumping into a weird old stoner dude or a picnicking family again!
Postmates: Meals on Wheels without poor people. Sure, you are physically and financially able to go to the grocery store, but your time is valuable. Just get dinner delivered, plate it at home, and it’s almost like you’ve got a private chef. You’ll never have to cross paths with someone using food stamps again! If you’re a real DIY type, try a meal-kit service like Blue Apron for a similar effect.
Private jets: Air travel without poor people. Sick of sneezing seatmates and crammed overhead bins? Hate the looks that fellow travelers give you as they file back to economy class, where they’ve paid $60 for an additional four inches of legroom? There’s a better way!

LAT: ‘An LAPD officer needs a bone marrow transplant. His ethnicity limits his chances of getting one’

Matthew Medina’s doctors diagnosed him with a rare blood disease a few months ago and told him he would probably die without a bone marrow transplant.
With that prognosis came another: The 40-year-old Los Angeles police officer had a less than 50% chance of finding a donor because he is not white.
Most successful matches for bone marrow transplants involve a donor and patient of the same ethnicity. But the majority of the 25 million registered donors nationwide are white, and Medina is Filipino. So far, no match has been found.
“You’re basically looking for a genetic twin,” said Athena Mari Asklipiadis, who runs Mixed Marrow, an L.A.-based organization that is trying to increase diversity in the bone marrow donor registry. “It’s not like we have more of a chance we would get a disease, or that we’re harder to match, it’s just that there’s not representation in the national registry.”
It’s a familiar problem for any nonwhite person who has needed a bone marrow transplant.
A white American of European descent has a 75% chance of finding a perfect match in the national donor registry, compared with a 40% chance for Filipinos. Few Filipinos in the U.S. have signed up as potential donors, and there is no registry in the Philippines.

I wonder why Filipinos are not signing up to donate blood marrow? I wonder why whites donate in large numbers?

The affective politics of keeping it real

Today, there is no longer any mass audience to speak to through dominant channels, overwhelming majorities do not trust mass media, and even the cognitively fragmented semi-mass audiences that remain will only listen to what they already think. Not to mention the masses probably have less power today than anytime in the twentieth century, so why bother even trying to speak to the masses? As a young academic, if I play by the rules for the next 10 years so that I might be respected by influential academics or gain access to regularly speaking on BBC or something like that, I would have sacrificed all of my creative energy for quite nearly nothing. As far as I can tell, today, the idea of biding your time as a young and respectable intellectual, to one day earn a platform of political significance, appears finally and fully obsolete. In one sense, this is already obvious to the millions who long ago stopped following mainstream media and long ago lost all respect for academic credentials; but in another sense, an overwhelming number of human beings continue to think, speak, and behave as if we are still operating in this old world, as if there is some reason to not say everything one feels like saying, as if there is some social or political or economic reward that will come toward the end of a respectable career of professional self-restraint. It’s easy for autodidacts and natural outsiders to say, “Duh, we told you so,” but this in no way comprehends or solves the really striking and politically significant puzzle that an extraordinary degree of human power remains voluntarily repressed for rewards and punishments that no longer exist.
Just as the self-restrained professional intellectual is shaped by the rewards of a media environment long dead, so too are they shaped by punishments which are little more than paranoid fears. Many academics and professionals believe that for the sake of their careers they must exercise the utmost discretion in what they put online, and they confidently tell young people to exercise the same discretion for the sake of their own futures. But the reality is almost the exact opposite. First of all, with some important exceptions of course, nobody gives a shit about what you put on the internet. Nobody with any power over you has the time to follow, and the few that do won’t care enough about you to follow or dig very much. In my now slightly above-average history of recklessly posting to the internet, before and after getting a competitive professional job, the worst that has ever happened is that nobody cares (and that’s most of the time). But the best that has happened, here and there, is that a lot of people care and appreciate it and new friends are made and all kinds of new paths appear, individually and collectively.
The self-restraining, strategic professional intellectual is not only operating on incorrect beliefs but beliefs which are almost exactly inverse to the truth: today, playing by rules of respectability is perhaps the straightest path to unemployment and impotent resentment, while simply cultivating the capacity to say or do something real (by definition prohibited by respectability), is a necessary (and sometimes even sufficient) condition for being genuinely valued by anyone, anywhere. Obviously if you have certain dimensions of poor character (i.e. you’re a racist or something) then reckless posting to the internet will likely, and perhaps rightly, lead to many negative consequences. But if you’re a basically decent person who just wants to push a little harder on what you really think, what you really feel, your experiences or your interests, or even just fuck around, the conventional wisdom still drastically overestimates the punishments and underestimates the rewards of doing so.
If these comments feel to you outdated because you think all of this already happened years ago with the initial rise of the internet, I would say you underestimate the quantity of human beings (and the qualitative intensities they could produce), who have yet to fully update their beliefs and behaviors around these matters. In some sense, the United States only just now, in 2016, elected its first President of the internet age. The fact that millions of people are genuinely perplexed and horrified by what is happening in this regard, is an index of how little the internet’s rewiring of power circuits has actually been integrated in the perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors of most people.

WP: ‘Video shows woman demanding ‘white doctor’ for her son in waiting-room rant’

As the woman stormed through the Canadian medical facility, she was adamant: She wanted a white doctor to treat her son — not a brown one and not one with an accent.
“So you’re telling me that my kid has chest pains, he’s going to have to sit here until 4 o’clock?” she told an employee at the walk-in clinic in Mississauga, Ontario. “Can I see a doctor please that’s white, that doesn’t have brown teeth, that speaks English?”
The employee responded that the facility couldn’t suddenly summon a Caucasian pediatrician.
But the angry mother was steadfast.
“You’re telling me there’s not one white doctor in this entire building?” she continued. “Well, what’s the closest that you have to speaking English?
“Being white in this country, I should just shoot myself. My kid is part not-white, so can we get somebody to see him that at least speaks English?”
The Sunday afternoon incident was captured on video by a man — himself an immigrant, according to HuffPost Canada — waiting to see a doctor at Rapid Access to Medical Specialists in Southern Ontario, near Toronto…
A sociology professor from Ryerson University in Toronto said “everyday racism” is “beginning to resurface” in Canada.

I too feel more comfortable with people like myself, people who are white and speak English and don’t have brown teeth. Given that seven out of eight black doctors have benefited from affirmative action, not wanting a black doctor is a rational choice if you know nothing else about the doctor. Obviously, I would prefer a great black doctor to an average white doctor.

Would you go to a doctor who you knew was admitted to medical school based on lower standards simply because of his ethnicity? It's an important question, because the left is clamoring for even more of it:
Too few women and minorities are entering certain medical specialties in the U.S., researchers say.
Diversifying the physician workforce may be key to addressing health disparities and inequities, Dr. Curtiland Deville of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, who worked on the study, said in an email.
I'm confused already. Is he saying we need more black doctors to treat black patients? Why can't minorities go to doctors of any race?
"Minority physicians continue to provide the majority of care for underserved and non-English speaking populations,” Dr. Deville added.
Non-English-speaking populations? This is America. The language of our citizenry is English. Why should we be concerned about the welfare of foreign populations?
Yet "in no specialties . . . were the percentages of black or Hispanic trainees comparable with the representation of these groups in the US population," he and his colleagues wrote in JAMA Internal Medicine.
It must be racism. It always is. I would add medicine to the fields of professional basketball and jazz instruction for investigations of racism.
Using publicly reported data, the researchers determined that of the 16,835 medical school graduates in 2012, 48 percent were women and 15 percent were minority groups (including 7 percent Hispanic and 7 percent black).
In 2012, women accounted for 82 percent of trainees in obstetrics and gynecology and for 75 percent of pediatrics trainees. Women also accounted for more than half of all trainees in dermatology, family medicine, pathology, and psychiatry – but for only 14 percent of trainees in orthopedics.
So there is sexism at work as well! It looks as though there is a conspiracy to keep men out of OB-GYN. Or is it a choice? Is gynecology simply one of the jobs men won't do?
Among black trainees, family medicine and obstetrics and gynecology were top picks, while otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) was least favorite. Among Hispanic trainees, top picks were psychiatry, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics, while ophthalmology was least favorite.
This is very important to know.
What's needed to increase diversity in medical specialties? “First is the need to increase the available pipeline of diverse medical students,” Dr. Deville said.
Guess what: there is no "pipeline." Blacks are not tar sands in Alberta. This is code for "lower standards for affirmative action." This brings me back to my question: would you go to a doctor who you knew was admitted to medical school using lower standards?
My guess is that most people wouldn't. But by lowering standards, all minorities get tarred with the same brush. That's why affirmative action is such a pejorative negative action for minorities.
Instead of trying to get more black otolaryngologists, why not simply figure out if there is a doctor shortage and recruit more doctors generally of that kind, without spending so much time worrying if too many white doctors are treating too many black patients or vice versa?
