Alexander Technique and Intolerance

Blog: No, I’m not talking here about prejudice. One of the mixed blessings of studying the Alexander Technique is that you lose your tolerance for moods and behaviors that don’t serve you. Yesterday a student of mine reported that she was full of ease after doing the Constructive Rest practice, when her husband called her over to review some photos on his laptop. As soon as she’d spent a minute craning over his shoulder to see the screen, her shoulder hurt worse than ever. I explained that once we open up stuck places, going back to the old patterns of tension becomes intolerable. Muscles that have finally come even the least little bit free from old tensions are loathe to return — and will let you know! A once-comfortable sofa becomes a nighmare of collapse. Curling up with a book is muddying and unpleasant. Pressurizing (stressing) oneself becomes abhorrent. We can no longer abide our old ways of being, of thinking, of responding.

Of course, we always retain the right to engage in those old habits of thought and deed. But no longer can we claim ignorance of the effects, or our complicity. All the ways we’ve rationalized or ignored our mistreatment of ourselves, in fact our prejudices against life, just don’t hold water.

It may not seem fun to lose the illusion of those old comforts… Freedom is not for the faint of heart.

Men Are Repulsed By Fat Women, Women Are Repulsed By Weak Men

An attractive young woman messages me: “Luke? Help! How strange it is sometimes to experience much more positivity and attention from others after simply losing nearly 20 pounds. I am receiving some calls from guys who were dismissive of me before, more catcalls, and today a random dude in a restaurant sent over a drink and offered to pay my bill. I am not bragging, but am mentioning this to share how hurtful and upsetting it feels at times. People can be so superficial. More or less I’m the same girl I feel, but now am slimmer and a touch more healthy. It feels unfair.

It’s a struggle. I trying to solve this. I know you will have something of an off kilter answer. I am interested.”

That’s how the world works. Just as when a guy makes a million bucks, he becomes more attractive to women.
Embrace reality. Swallow the red pill.

Guess The Candidate

guassthecandidate

From the Chateau:

* Here are my guesses:

Group 1: Kasich or Cruz

They look pretty conventional, middle America, nice White lady vibe from the women, and cuck vibe from the men.

Group 2: Trump

Men aren’t smiling, have that shitlord look to the eyes. UNCUCKED. The women look like they enjoy the company of men.

Group 3: Cucksich or Cruz (leaning Cruz)

Sunglasses, military, flag shirt, guitar. The men are good ol’ boys. The women look friendly but also a little mentally unstable. Possible religious nuts?

Group 4: Sanders

Men: Baseball hats, beards/goatees, and that Quentin Tarantino-ish faggotry about the face. Women: exotics, cat ladies, and art and crafts hippies.

Group 5: TheCunt

The men are all weird-looking omegas, and one of them is doing something stupidly ironic in his profile pic (sipping on an iced coffee). The women look like manjawed lawyercunts and sluts. Two of them are wearing “problem glasses”.

You can find the answers here., along with PA’s 5/5 winning picks and reasoning behind each one. I’ll give myself 4.5/5. The sexually de-polarized manjaws and omega males were the easiest; those are Hillary folk!

PS PHYSIOGNOMY IS REAL

COMMENTS:

* Kasich people have a wholesome but naive look

Trump men have strong eyes

Cruz: “conservative” looking black guy; women have a clean but bossy hen look

Sanders males have that gay daddy-baiting look; all are White

* Mrs. B.J. Clinton’s male voters look very weak, like they prefer women but would happily bend over and go full powerbottom for Bathhouse Barry if he ordered it. Three of Bern’s supporters, the middle three, would sodomize little boys were it not illegal, and the one on the left would videotape it and pleasure himself later.

* How Trump teases an attention whore. Female reporter is back-hamstering to explain what happened when she interviewed Trump. She grilled him about being a negative racist, he went through the usual motions of swatting away each silly question, then as they were concluding he nuked her with a compliment. Of course this is supposed to be a somewhat meta accounting of a press conference rather than a direct report of the issues, but notice how the chick becomes “WowJustWow” and protests too much about how he affected her:

“As the meeting ended and we were walking out of the room, I thanked Trump for taking my question. He turned to me and said, “I really hope I answered your question,” and added casually with a smile, “Beautiful.” I was stunned. I didn’t say thank you [too busy preening], and I don’t think I smiled [grinning from ear to ear]. He then walked out to meet with my Post colleagues briefly before heading to the elevator. I stayed in the conference room for a few minutes as it sunk in that the potential GOP nominee for president thought it was okay to comment on my appearance. Did he just say that?
Planning out how to question Trump in a way that was illuminating was like planning for asymmetrical warfare against an opponent who doesn’t follow the same rules as you do. Who doesn’t believe in rules. Who thinks that rules won’t help make America great again. In Trump’s world, commenting on a woman’s appearance in a professional setting is fair game…”

* I do this all the time and of course they think I’m creepy. The power of success. You can tell how hard she’s trying to sound neutral yet subtly judgemental about it: but can’t resist crowing about it very publicly, and admiring his disregard of the rules of “acceptable discourse”.

* Epic fail does not begin to describe the situation.

“Beautiful” is a common way someone superior would conclude the conversation with an inferior as an favourable assessment of a situation
(“How are you guys doing?” “We poured the concrete.” “Beautiful”)
(“How are you doing” “I’m feeling much better” “Beautiful”)

Has nothing to do (prima facie that is) with the skank’s appearance.

These ((people)) are so ignorant it boggles the mind.

MORE COMMENTS:

* “PS PHYSIOGNOMY IS REAL” ——— Isn’t it depressing? It’s what I started calling “Biological Calvinism” a while back. And I was wondering whether ugly chicks appear ugly to us because a gazillion generations of Darwinian Nihilism have imbued in us [or, more specifically, in our hindbrains] the ability to sense serious character flaws merely by glancing at a person’s face.

* I used to believe that – that the “nurture” takes its toll on the “nature”. But Biological Calvinism says that you have to consider whether it’s actually the “nurture” [the environment] being created by the “nature”. So that ugly people aren’t ugly because they’ve spent their entire lives frowning and frumping and being miserable – we seem them as ugly because that’s how our hindbrains try to convey to us the message of “Danger Will Robinson!”

28yo Woman: I have as much sex as I like – and it’s great – but I want something more

Pamela Stephenson Connolly replies to an email:

I am a 28-year-old single woman. I work in a professional job and play quite hard at weekends. However, one thing missing in my life is a partner. I think about sex most hours of the day, and watch a lot of porn. I can pick up men very quickly, the sex is usually quite intense and I enjoy taking control. But, at heart, I want commitment and a partner. Please help.

When the lack of a committed partner becomes more important than your current sexual style, you will probably prioritise this quite naturally. Most likely, this process has begun already, and will intensify over the next couple of years. We all go through a series of developmental stages as our lives unfold, and with each stage comes a new challenge; yours appears to be changing from the “single” fun of one’s 20s, to the notion of stability and the desire to create a couple with the potential for longevity.

This is all normal, although it is worth remembering that not everyone progresses through the same developmental stages in the same order. What you have been achieving through experimentation is a wealth of learning about who you are sexually – what excites you, and the nature of your erotic triggers. Knowing about these will help you to chose longer-term partners who truly satisfy your erotic creativity. In fact, acquiring sexual self-knowledge in this way is a smart insurance policy.

Comments at the Chateau:

* “I can pick up men very quickly, the sex is usually quite intense and I ENJOY TAKING CONTROL.”

I don’t hear this discussed enough in the manosphere. When women are riding the cock carousal, they seek out guys who they can control, who they can dispose of easily, who’s disapproval is meaningless and/or unlikely, and who there is little risk of her “falling for”. These are usually greater betas/lesser alphas.

When she says she’s seeking “something more”, what she means is that she wants to be be dominated and fall head over heels for a guy who can control her. However, now she’s slutted and slurped herself into a corner: a solid guy who could properly dominate her doesn’t want her used, untrustworthy vag for anything more than a scratching post for his cock, no matter how quickly she changes her slut tune and tries to present as a “good girl”. The “something more” she seeks is already behind her. She’s stuck with lower SMV guys forever. You go grrrl!

* What the poor stoopid Shiksa really wants – but what the Eskimo Femin@zi Industrial Complex can never but never but never allow her to realize that she wants – is the infinite pain of childbirth followed by the infinite ecstasy of holding that newborn child in her arms…

How Competent Is Hillary Clinton?

Comments:

* This is criminal insanity. America’s (and Europe’s) foreign policy should consist of three words: leave well alone. Intervention in the Muslim world has been a disaster. Of course, saying it was a disaster implies that the consequences weren’t foreseen, and that was by no means the case. Talk of “rooting out terrorists” in foreign countries is nonsense. Muslims are 22 per cent of the world’s population. By the tenets of their religion, they are by definition hostile to us. The only way to protect ourselves is to keep them out of our countries. A “good” Muslim country, from our point of view, is one that’s reasonably stable and not in danger erupting into anarchy and spewing its young male population on us.

* A partial list of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s more dramatic failures:

(1) Failed DC bar exam;

(2) Expelled from Watergate investigation staff for lying and other unethical behavior;

(3) A series of financial scandals as Arkansas’s first “lady”;

(4) Whitewater coverup;

(5) In charge of crafting Clinton health insurance bill, failed in a disastrous way that put off the possibilities of another Democrat bill for twenty years;

(6) Partnered with Bill in admitting Poland to NATO, starting a new round of unnecessary hostilities with Russia. [George Kennon describes this as one of the greatest diplomatic blunders of the 20th century.];

(7) Was losing NY senate election until Bill stepped in;

(8) Lost a “sure thing” presidential presidential nomination to the relatively unknown Obama;

(9) Within two weeks of becoming Secretary of State committed an epic diplomatic faux pas that caused Whitehall to publicly and officially repudiate the century long “special relation” between the UK and the USA;

(10) A bit later her incredibly stupid “reset button” gimmick publicly embarrassed Russian officials and widened the rift the Clintons had so assiduously created;

(11) Fomenting and aiding and abewtting the so-called “Arab Spring” which has permanently destabilized much of North Africa;

(12) Fomenting the overthrow of Qadafi in Libya which has turned that country into a failed anarchic mess and a haven for Islamo-fascist terrorists and helped spread terrorist movements like Boko Haram into much of central Africa;

(13) Failed utterly to protect US diplomats in Benghazi and lied through her teeth about the causes of that disaster and the role she played in it;

(14) While Secretary she violated an oath she took after being trained in how to handle classified materials, violated directly several section of the USC regarding the handling of such materials, and as a result exposed many US humint and elint intelligence sources [people may have died as a result] Hillary’s apologists claim that she was unaware but anyone who will be handling materials like these is thoroughly briefed beforehand and signs oaths to obey the briefings. Only someone totally unsuited for any public office would fail to behave appropriately;

(15) While Secretary her office and underlings negotiated deals with individuals and groups from which Clinton or her “foundation” had received emoluments, giving at least the appearance of pay-to-play and once again violating provisions of the USC.

(16) And her marriage to Bill would probably be judged a failure by most normal people who value marriage as something other than a mutual support pact between two sociopaths.

* Libya was actually the beginning of my red-pill journey. As a 19-year-old supporter of the Iraq war who learned his lesson, I honestly couldn’t believe it (literally) when NRO and other (((neocon))) types started calling for a no-fly zone and even further action. The results are as sad and terrible as they were predicable. In any sane country this would be grounds for immediate, shameful resignation by the SoD and SoS. Unfortunately we live in the terminal end of a decadent, dying democracy. Fail up.

Just another nail in our coffin.

* I think Trump will start in on her vast experience right from the beginning:

Her Marxist-Leninist senior thesis at Wellesley.

Bag lady for unreported Democratic Party cash in Arkansas.

Master commodities speculator who turned $1,000 into $100,000 in a single cattle trade.

Union busting strategist for Walmart as a Rose Law firm consultant.

Legal architect of the Whitewater land deal.

* My blood was boiling when I read the original article a month back. She was talking about Libya like it was a high school project that went bad. Never mind that a few thousand people are dead, at least she got to use Caesar’s “Veni, Vidi, Vici” line.

* If we and Muslims are to coexist on the same planet, one of us must fear the other a great deal.

And I prefer being the hammer to being the nail.

That said, intervening in their affairs internally or attempting to improve, correct, educate, or change them is neither desirable nor necessary. Leave them alone unless and until they do something to us that necessitates a response, then make it more than they bargained for.

* In addition to the items ably complied here by Jus’ Sayin’, there is

5.5) Aided and abetted Bill in his sexual abuse and harassment of women, all while loudly pretending with a straight face to be a woman’s champion.

7.1) Her figure as a politician came almost entirely without winning any actual elections. Her only election wins were as the US Senator from NY (where she doesn’t really live anyway), the first election of which she only won only by a few percentage points after her initial marquee opponent (Guliani) dropped out due to marital problems and cancer and the Repubs had to scramble to put a placeholder no-name opponent into the race. The second she won more easily (albeit again against a no-name opponent), but Senatorial re-election rates are approximately the same as for re-election to the Soviet politburo.

13.1) The Benghazi failure/betrayal/cover-up was all the more galling in light of her 2008 campaign ad touting how she would be the experienced and wise one to respond to the national emergency 3AM phone call to the White House. Well, in 2012 that phone call came from Benghazi, and Hillary promptly stabbed the Americans in the back.

Also, she managed to compile this massive record of failure while having the uncritical backing of big media four-square behind her, so contrary to her whiny complaint of being a victim of (fictitious) “the vast right-wing conspiracy”, she was in fact a beneficiary of the actual vast left-wing conspiracy and still manages to work her anti-Midas magic on everything she touches.

Whenever I meet a Hillary supporter (not very often, few citizens want to identify themselves this way), I ask why? What are her accomplishments? An awkward silence always follows.

Hillary is a failure as a person, a politician and a “public” “official”. She may be the person in the US least fit for office. That she is the largest party’s front runner says a lot about the party and the nation.

* A similar occurrence happened during the 1999 Kosovo intervention (aka bombing the Serbs) which Hillary supposedly pressed Bill on. We were told of a hundred thousand missing Kosovars and Serbs using Albanians as ‘living blood banks’. Yet after the action Kosovo became the drug and human trafficking capital of Europe and Kosovo ethnically cleansed most non-Albanians while brutally attacking the remaining Serbs. Libya wasn’t the first nation Hillary helped to wreck.

To paraphrase a line from Clint Eastwood’s The Eiger Sanction, “I don’t consider a record of failure automatically grants you the right to lead.”

* I pray that Trump will get the chance to run against this monster and expose all of the horrors starting with the bombing of Serbia up to and including the enthusiastic support for frau Merkel’s flooding of Europe with jihadists, and opening the southern border of the U.S., the aggressive encirclement of Russia risking WWIII etc etc. I would dearly love to see how the White electorate responds given a real referendum on these issues.

* I bought [Samantha] Power’s R2P book anticipating a muscular political and philosophical work through of arguments for intervention, with strong examples designed to deflate objections and to show how it was possible finesse the problems of messy reality.

But no. Just a list of woes of the world and the necessity to do-something-about-it.

Ghastly, pompous nobody.

* There’s this, her position in favor of getting rid of Assad, her recent statement that anyone on our southern border who gets one foot onto American soil will never be deported, to say nothing of a long history in support of free trade, and pundits maintain Trump will never beat her in November. Ha!

Marine Le Pen Visits Canada

BLOG: Marine Le Pen’s visit to Canada last weekend has been described by the gloating French press as a near-fiasco, a disaster. But who is responsible for the “fiasco”? Marine or the Canadians themselves who greeted her as if she were a bloodthirsty serial killer, when in truth, she brought her usual message of the need for immigration restriction, tightly controlled borders, her criticism of the powers-that-be both in France and Canada, and in the case of Quebec, a demand for greater interest in the French language. Canadians were offended by her criticisms and banned her everywhere as if she were the ebola virus.

Her own camp is blaming her for the disaster, saying the trip had not been properly planned.

I say the Canadians, French and otherwise, are crazy.

Here’s a summary from Le Figaro, dated March 22, slightly abridged. It appears to have been written just before the Brussels attacks since they are not mentioned:

It was meant to be an escapade across the Atlantic far from the media. Anxious to distance herself from the French media, that she blames for part of her image problems with the foreign press, Marine Le Pen was nonetheless not welcome in Canada where she had intended to spend six days boosting her international stature. Shunned by local leaders who would not meet with her, she attracted the lightening bolts of Canadian public opinion when she attacked Ottawa for its policy on migrants. Worse: hounded by groups of activists hostile to the extreme right, Marine Le Pen saw her hotel reservations summarily cancelled in Quebec.

No sooner had she arrived than a group of anti-fascists and radical leftists prepared a welcoming committee. A tense atmosphere set the tone for the whole visit. According to several Canadian media, no political representative agreed to interview the presidential candidate, despite the schedule announced by the Front National. “She would have liked to discuss immigration with Quebecer politicians. But the majority of them refused to meet her,” wrote Radio Canada on Saturday. Same refusal from the cabinet of Prime minister Couillard. The Coalition Avenir Québec, a center-right party, also declined the invitation.

Even when a few pro-sovereignty activists from the Parti québecois expressed the wish to have their picture taken with the FN president, the president of their party quickly backed off. A rejection that Marine Le Pen commented on Monday on Radio Canada:

“I am in some way the symbol of everything they submitted to, of everything they renounced in the fight for identity, for sovereignty. They do not enjoy being brought face to face with this mirror, this reality. Perhaps that’s why they run from me,” she added.

During the entire trip, Marine Le Pen increased her criticism of the Canadian political class. After calling Justin Trudeau and his government “false humanists”, regarding Canada’s refugee policy, Marine Le Pen hammered the nail in more deeply in an interview with Midi Info:

“A certain number of governments are naive when faced with the problem of immigration. They are what I call bleeding hearts.”

Note: She went on to explain that what she meant was the “belief that all is well, that everything is wonderful and that there will never be a problem.” Note that she did not explicitly mention Islam. Her remark was quite mild.

But her misadventures did not stop there for Marine Le Pen. According to QMI, a Canadian press agency, she was unpleasantly surprised to learn on Monday evening that one of her reservations at the Marriott in downtown Montreal had been cancelled. She was expected to hold a press conference there on Tuesday. Between thirty and fifty demonstrators outside the hotel booed Marine Le Pen, who, in the end, did not show up, forcing the management to cancel her reservation. Earlier that evening, she had been booed as she left a party meeting. Three demonstrators were arrested by police.

Note: According to Radio Canada, she gave a speech Monday night to sympathizers, in a downtown restaurant in Montreal. More than one hundred protesters demonstrated their opposition to the visit on Quebec soil of the French politician. So I assume that though she was able to speak earlier in the evening on Monday, the management of the Marriott still decided to cancel her reservation for the Tuesday press conference.

One cancellation leads to another and a communiqué from the Front National published Tuesday added another misadventure to the already loaded series:

“After the Marriott-Champlain, the Sheraton cancelled the reservation that would have allowed Marine Le Pen to meet the press. The subjects tackled by Marine Le Pen since her arrival in Quebec must be especially sensitive and increased pressures are preventing her from meeting the media. Once again, not only is democracy at stake, but freedom of expression. In Quebec, as in France, Marine Le Pen will not yield to intimidations.”

To top it off, Marine Le Pen was not able to visit enterprises, as she had initially intended. According to what she said, the Trudeau government cancelled all her visits to enterprises, including one at Bombardier. She was to participate in these meetings in her capacity as a member of the delegation on international commerce of the EU Parliament.

Note: Was this a disaster for Marine, or a disaster for Canada? Even if some of her remarks were critical, nothing justifies this type of “welcome” from a major Western country with a sizable Francophone population to a major French politician, the only French politician with any ideas worth considering.

Below, an antiracist banner greeted Marine Le Pen on March 20. It reads:

“Here, in the land of welcome, we prefer the arrival of thousands of immigrants to a visit by one racist.”

Angela Merkel could not have said it better.

Another Hate Crimes Hoax

Comments:

* Has there ever been a single solitary documented case or WN/WPs actually putting Nazi or KKK imagery up in any black or immigrant/mestizo neighborhood except for Chicago in the 70s?

I don’t think so.

Real WN/WP ‘s literally have nothing to say to nonwhites. If they do anything at all, it’s to put fliers out in white neighborhoods, and never with threats or intimidating messages.

And as for the Triple K-there IS no KKK as such. Sure there are a few, isolated groups of losers, Feds and stooges calling themselves KKK, but anyone can use the name KKK. It isn’t a registered trademark.

By contrast, Hell’s Angels is both a registered trademark and a copyrighted symbol. No one calls themselves Hells Angels, with or without apostrophe, unless they are a duly ‘patched in’ member of a chapter approved by the Hell’s Angels Motorcycle Club. One, they’ll be killed or beaten to a pulp, and two, if they somehow escaped that, they’d be sued and forced to cease and desist in court. There IS a Hell’s Angels. But there is no THE KKK.

* As Steve said in another piece a year or two ago, KKK is the new UFO. There are people around whom MSM would describe as “white supremacists”, but they wouldn’t go around writing graffiti expressing hatred of non-whites. What would be the point? Most of what racially aware whites have to say needs to be addressed to fellow whites, e.g. politicians and journalists.

Also, nowadays these hate hoaxes are rarely perpetrated by people who are at the bottom of the social scale. From what I see, they’re mostly in middle class jobs or in college, where they’re in close contact with whites and are perhaps made to feel inadequate or resentful at being unable to compete with them.

* The US seems to suffer a grave shortage of white people to paint swastikas, nooses and so on.

* I hope this can somehow feed into Trump’s campaign. Please organise a press conference, make it a big deal, invite all of the press and really treat them well. Then state that you are looking for a reset while also calling them on their totally absurd excesses like the Hitler comparisons. They are quite battered enough and now is the time to show them the good cop, to show them the great, charming and fantastic cop in fact.

* Maybe Trump should announce that part of his economic plan is for reporters to be paid better?

* The real white supremacists are the progressives trying to hector the poor, uninterested African immigrants into their recycling schemes. As if shopping at the thrift store wasn’t enough.

* Yes, reporters have it incredibly tough nowadays. You have to intern for free forever, live in a major city like New York where your cupboard sized bedroom and fridge shelf costs half of your eventual salary, pay off tremendous amounts of student debt and do your work with very scarce resources. He should watch Girls for a perspective on what that is like. It is depressing.

Trump needs to feel journalists’ pain and come up with a solution for them. They are now a class unto themselves but one with their own 1 and 99 percents. He could get a lot more sympathetic reporting by doing a bit of this, it could hardly get less sympathetic anyway.

Perhaps he could declare journalism a public good and say that those working in journalism will have their student debt cancelled. A hiatus while they work would do, if it were combined with a full cancellation after a successful 10 year hiatus?

Maybe a reader might suggest whatever it is that Putin, Orban and others use as carrots for journalists, because the world is only giving them sticks at the moment. They are just as much bitter clingers now as any residents of fish town. They are dispossessed Americans, and need a Trump as much as any others.

* Right, it’s not unreasonable for Trump to devote some effort to addressing the economic problems of reporters. I can recall, in 1993, getting invited to sit in the press box at a Chicago Bulls game during Michael Jordan’s peak and thinking, wow, look at the rayon sweaters these reporters are wearing … these guys are poor!

And that was before the Internet.

* Look, nobody forced these guys to choose such a low paying career. 99% of them (even sports writers) are leftists and they chose journalism not as a means to a paycheck but as a branch of the Social Justice Warrior profession, so that they could “afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted”. I have no sympathy for them.

* There are a lot of problems caused by media sources going broke–it’s often the case that there is now nobody whose job it is to go to all the city council meetings, read the documents, talk to the principals, and inform the public about what’s going on, and that’s a genuine loss. The problem I see with trying to fix this from the government is that it will end up with some kind of official licensing of who’s a real journalist, because you have to have some way to decide whom to give money to. I can’t imagine such a scheme *not* being used to do some viewpoint-policing, around the edges of the Overton window.

Why a Stanford grad joined the Trump revolt

Charlotte Allen writes: I went to Stanford, and I voted for Donald Trump. So did my husband. He went to Yale…

The common wisdom is that the majority of Trump’s supporters are barely literate knuckle-draggers. They’re “low-information,” in the words of Trump’s leading GOP rival nationwide, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. And it’s true that the largest education-level cohort among the Republicans who have consistently given Trump a double-digit lead in the primaries consists of people with high-school educations or less.

But in Massachusetts, home of Harvard and MIT and ranked as the No. 1 state in the union for residents possessing at least a bachelor’s degree, a CNN exit poll for the March 1 Republican primary showed Trump winning over 46% of voters with college degrees and even edging out Ohio “moderate” Gov. John Kasich (29% to 28%) among voters with postgraduate sheepskins. Exit polls in other states show similar results…

I’ve been a journalist by profession for more than three decades, and my reporting trips have taken me on many occasions across the vast coast-to-coast Rust Belt left behind as one U.S. company after another has outsourced its manufacturing operations to low-wage havens abroad. I’ve seen the construction industry, once a decently-paying bulwark for skilled working class American men without much educational aptitude, be turned over to non-English-speaking illegal immigrants toiling for labor contractors at under-the-table wages a fraction of what on the record employees make. The Republican establishment’s response to this has been pathetic: a “reformicon” agenda of using the refundable earned-income tax credit to hand out welfare to the displaced American workers.

Trump promises to turn America into a country that does what nations ought to do: Put the interests of its own citizens first. That’s why he’s promised to build a wall along our southern border and to change our tariff practices to comport with export-import reality. He has also managed to grow the Republican Party, apparently generating record primary turnouts and inspiring thousands of onetime Democrats to switch to the GOP. That’s why my husband and I will be casting our ballots for Trump in November should he become the Republican nominee. Some would call that “anger.” I call it “hope.”

Sailer: Another SoCal Contribution to World Culture: The Televised Car Chase

Steve Sailer writes: It’s a cliche, but I have to say that police pursuits televised from helicopters still make for pretty hypnotic TV. The cops have been chasing a carjacked pickup truck around the San Fernando Valley this afternoon. Finally, about ten minutes ago, the truck slows down and the cops bump it into a spin. Four cops level their guns at the driver who slowly gets out … and it’s a black lady in a purple Easter coat. She raises her hands in submission … and then she dashes (in a feminine Tracy Morgan-in-drag way) for the driver’s seat of an empty police cruiser.

The cops jump on her, yank her out of their cop car, and eventually handcuff her.

Yeah, the San Fernando Valley is only a few percent black, but if you stipulated that the driver who is committing about 175 felonies and moving violations is a lady in a purple Easter coat, well the odds of her being black go way up.

COMMENTS: * I’ll never forget the line a WN commentator told a liberal interviewer when he was asked about the late James “Yankee Jim” Leshkevich, an East Coast member of various white power outfits and podcaster who killed his wife and then himself after a particularly ugly marital conflict. He was asked why the late Yankee Jim “hated blacks so much”.

“Jim didn’t hate blacks! He thought they were funny as hell…when they weren’t robbing, raping, and killing”.

While not condoning what Leshkevich did, I do think it was hilarious what Leshkevich himself did immediately before his own demise. He put up a picture of Ariel Sharon’s son (who did something illegal in Israel and was in big trouble, as I recall) and captioned it as himself on his blog. News sources all over the country, including the Jewish Daily Forward’s website, ran the picture with the story as being Leshkevich. It took at least two weeks for the shoe to drop on that one as I recall.

* What is an Easter coat?

Something purple or yellow you wear on Easter.

* LAPD has toned it down a lot, They’ll often sit back and let the perp run out of road so to speak in many cases. It’s only when the the perp is a threat to other drivers do they try to take him down ASAP. San Bernadino also allows a police sharpshooter to shoot the vehicle and driver from a helicopter if they perceive the perp as a threat and did so a few months back.

* That was fun. These car chases could easily replace football as America’s favorite spectator sport.

* Fox News showed one of these chases a few years ago, which ended with the fugitive shooting himself. Shepard Smith apologized for them showing that, and I thought: you’d really show the whole chase and not the climax of it?

* They were supposed to put the live feed on a ten-second delay. Someone in the control room screwed up (and doubtlessly lost his job for it).

Right after the guy dropped to the ground, having blown a hole in his head on national television, they cut to Smith at the anchor desk shouting “Get off it! Get off it! GET OFF IT!” for roughly ten seconds.

If you watch the clip, you can see how royally pissed off* he was when he realized that the suicide, live and uncensored, had gone out over the air.

Fox then cut to a commercial. When Smith came back, he apologized and explained what had happened.

*Incidentally, there are reports that Smith, who is often seen on the town in the company of a tall, dark man who is some 25 years his junior, is not the nicest, most-even-tempered guy you’ll ever meet. But anyone would have been angry about what’d happened.
