What Does Tucker Carlson Really Believe? (3-8-23)

Virtual Pilgrim posts: 27:27 America is not an ideological nation. The State is ideological. Becoming a citizen of the United States doesn’t qualify you to become an American but being an American qualifies you to become a citizen of the United States. I agree with Luke’s comments afterwards. Your meaning isn’t found in State ideology.

44:13 Destiny ask the questions why can’t white people just be happy within themselves. This is similar to the claim by Dennis Prager that race doesn’t matter. Luke is correct that human nature has its biases and proclivities towards ingroup preference. What people like Destiny and Dennis Prager are really saying is race should not matter. And I agree that, in a perfect world, race should not matter, but we are not living in a perfect world, so we have to make real decisions for our survival as a people. White people have been tricked to turn their nation over to foreigners because people like Dennis Prager tell them that race doesn’t matter which is a lie. Prager and Destiny are giving you an aspirational claim which has nothing to do with the real world.

46:14 I love how Luke says that people that are attracted to Islam are low IQ. LOL! Sounds like something Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris would say.

Art Bell: He is dying his hair – a hint of the forced image, but as Luke explains he is a shifty human, possibly CIA, he wanted to join. An untrustworthy anti-populist.
News piece on CNN: Carlson “passionately” hates Trump: In a number of private text messages, Carlson was harshly critical of Trump. In one November 2020 exchange, Carlson said Trump’s decision to snub Joe Biden’s inauguration was “so destructive.” Carlson added that Trump’s post-election behavior was “disgusting” and that he was “trying to look away.” In another text message conversation, two days before the January 6 attack, Carlson said, “We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can’t wait.” Carlson added of Trump, “I hate him passionately.” The Fox host said of the Trump presidency, “That’s the last four years. We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”

58:00 nice point, podcasts and youtube discussion fests, SPENCER and Ford types, all that chatter vs music & video games. New Music has to compete with a dozen new threats, to be heard even once. Until Luke starts an AIR SUPPLY band with Spencer. Where were Air Supply during the berlin wall, Mr. Spencer!

Comment: Destiny & Richard Spencer Debate Race, Religion, Andrew Tate, Joe Biden (3-7-23)

Virtual Pilgrim posts: 18:33 Destiny brings up the tired canard against white identarians by asking the question “who is white?” While it is true that this can be a technical problem, I would say the more practical answer is that the further away your ancestry is from England then the less compatible you are likely to be as an American. “Ourselves and our posterity” was defined by the 1790 Naturalization Act as “white persons of good character.”

I have no interest in discussing these questions with liberals or leftists, but I do have something to say to conservatives who bring up this same canard.
Here is a video of Ben Shapiro defining an American: https://youtube.com/shorts/SDGu2SOQeAE?feature=share

“This idea that it’s about ethnicity as opposed to ideology or ideas is just not true. Then the amazing thing about Judaism – just like most other religions, is you can become one. I can’t become a black man. There’s no way for me to do it. I can become a Christian. You could become a Jew. This means that there are ideological systems that you can buy into that allow you entry. And I believe that the United States should operate the same way. You can become an American if you buy into central American ideals. But I’m not going to pretend that I care whether a bunch of people who are pro America and pro American ideals are from Cuba versus coming from Britain.”

Ben literally said that becoming an American is buying into American values. That means those who don’t buy into American values are not American. Is Ben willing to back that up? I doubt it. If you become an American by buying into an idea, then you stop becoming an American by not buying into the ideals. If Ben is not willing to deport these non-Americans, then he’s admitting that there are indeed Americans who do not buy into those values which contradicts his premise. Therefore, Joe Biden and all the leftist Democrats, according to Ben, are not American. His logic is absolutely ridiculous. The truth is, becoming an American is a birthright through your ancestry and no one can take that away. Race and ethnicity are the foundation of nations.

Would you date a podcaster? Most women say no! (3-6-23)

From the New York Times: Like many other women, she associates the form with a certain kind of man: one who is endlessly fascinated by his own opinions, loves the sound of his own voice and isn’t the least bit shy about offering unsolicited opinions on masculinity, sexuality and women. Many women have taken to social media to mock just that kind of programming and the men who make it.

On TikTok, hashtags like #menwithpodcasts gather videos of (mostly) women using a beard filter to satirize the sorts of things male podcast hosts say, such as: “Why, as a man, are you born in the month of February?” or “That’s the problem with women who read.” Others have called on them to “put down the mics” and “get a job!”

With the once-booming podcast industry currently on the back foot and hosts’ reputations for self-important mansplaining having long since caught up with them, is the “podcast bro” officially a persona non grata in today’s dating landscape?
