Money Honey Maria Bartiromo

Khunrum emails: Naaaaa but I loved the little fatty Mexican waitress where I had lunch today. She asked me how the grub was and I answered "the food is tasty and you are gorgeous"…of course she wasn’t even close to being gorgeous but she was young and nasty looking. Followed me outside to remind me to come back again. Must have been that two dollar tip I left her (generous by my standards). That nasty look goes a long way with me.

Luke definitely has a shot at Maria. I read somewhere that she is tired of the upscale, phoney lifestyle of the high rolling rich and famous. She wants to give up the corporate jets and settle down with an impoverished Jew in a one room hovel. Convert and devote her life to studying Tora! Tora! Tora! …..Live the simple life as it were. Luke, make a move.

The Expulsion

Zipi emails:

There is enough blame to share in this on-going soap-opera:

Jewish education in town (YULA) and in Jerusalem.

While they PUSH Midot, Tzniut and Chessed, in actuality they are breeding a new crop of Monica Lewinsky wanna-be’s. The rabbis, teachers and parents should take a good look at themselves and figure out how did they fail. Is the high cost of tuition really worth it?

When two Beverly high students were killed in a DUI accident, the school called a parent meeting with professionals in the field of sobriety. In our community when we discover a shanda, we kill the messenger…expel him from shul and take the articles off the Jewish Journal.

As for you Luke, it’s your turn to hear some honest feedback too.

Your share in this story is: You are playing right into the hands of the rabbis. Stop acting as the innocent / injured party. You want to be a blogger. You are very good at it. You are providing the community with an important service, by keeping them ALL accountable. They are scared of you!

So, what is the problem? Why are you chasing your own tail again and again? Answer: Your stupid immature infatuation with porn. It destroys every solid piece you ever produced. Stop with the boobs and half nude women. Yes, including Orit Arfa, the Calendar Girls and the ‘Professor of Judaic studies’… You hypocrite! How can you blame an immature silly 18 year old entree, when you are doing it at age 40+?

Joe emails: You keep blaming your sex drive for everything, but haven’t you learned from the Rebbe?

Marc Gafni writes:

It is from the nature of the sexual that we learn what it means to live erotically.

Sex is neither our enemy nor our playmate – though it is sometimes both. Primarily however sex is our teacher, always hinting at the way.

Child Labor At Shul

Joe writes: "Every Orthodox shul hires teenage boys from local day schools like YULA to work childcare on Shabbat morning.  Don’t they have to daven as well?  What message are local rabbis sending to teenage boys that it is better to work Shabbat morning for $30 than to be in shul davening?"

I may have to withdraw my hechsher from such institutions.

Still, I wish some shul would offer me $30 to do some task on Saturday mornings instead of davening. I’m willing to sweep and clean and teach Torah and I’ll throw in a neck massage for the rabbi and a script consultation for the shul president.

Should The Giants Tighten The Noose Around Plaxico’s Neck?

From the New York Daily News: An outraged Rev. Al Sharpton is calling for the New York Post to take immediate action to address a column in Monday’s editions that he called "blatant racism" and a "media lynching." Post columnist Steve Serby began his column in Monday’s editions with "Good for Tom Coughlin. Good for Coughlin for tightening the noose around Plaxico Burress." Burress has been fined and benched by the Giants for infractions including tardiness and missing practices. On Saturday, the wide receiver skipped a treatment for his neck, and was benched during the first quarter of the Giants‘ win in Pittsburgh Sunday. In criticizing Burress, Serby used a racially loaded and offensive term, Sharpton told the Daily News. "To make such a blatant racist statement about an African-American football player with a neck injury is completely unacceptable," Sharpton said. "Clearly, the racial connotation is very disturbing. … This is the verbal reflection of a hanging noose." Sharpton said he was willing to consider that Serby did not intend to make a racially loaded statement. But the impact of the columnist’s words troubled Sharpton regardless of the intent. "Intent certainly makes a difference," Sharpton said. "As long as they understand the effect."

I Had A Particularly Good Acupuncture Treatment This Morning

It was moving and sensitive and I feel refreshed and ready to do more mitzvot and inhibit my animalistic desires in the name of the greater good and the glory of G-d.

I just looked up my acunpuncturist on Facebook and I want to send her a thank you email, but I need to know if this would be appropriate?
