Back To Blood

From comments to Steve Sailer:

* What if everyone stops believing in the United States of America?

Oh I’m not saying that it disappears, the monuments fade away into a puff of smoke or anything.

But it is a pretty discussed thing about how different groups, that had a different conception of their identity, and in many cases different languages, were formed into nations in the latter half of the past millenia.

So what happens if people quit believing that the abstract entity known as the United States of America has any legitimate claim to their loyalties?

Some would say that certain ethnic groups in the US already behave in this manner.

So what happens if no one believes it, and quits trying to put lipstick on the pig?

What happens if everyone goes “Back to Blood,” if you will?

* The Romans didn’t ask the Celts’ permission; the Norsk didn’t ask the Saami’s permission; the English didn’t ask permission to steal New York from the Dutch. So why should Hassidim ask permission to make offers to buy this or that property?

The Man In The High Castle

Amazon.com has released eight pilot TV shows on its website. There is one great show among the lot — The Man in the High Castle.

REPORT: What if the Allies had lost World War II, the Nazis had been first to develop the atomic bomb, and the Germans and Japanese had carved up control of United States? That’s the premise of the new streaming series from Amazon, The Man in the High Castle — an adaptation of the 1962 book by the same name. And the show is fantastic.

Nazi brownshirts control New York City streets, San Francisco is lorded over by Japanese police, and postwar TV game shows prominently feature Nazis in full regalia. The people of the United States seem to more or less accept their fate. Except, of course, for a band of freedom fighters not content with the way that their former enemies rule this alt-America with an iron fist.

The new series is a dark and moody portrait of an America that could have been. And I really can’t get enough. The production design is wonderful, the cinematography is phenomenal, and the acting is superb. The Man in the High Castle truly seems to transcend the pitfalls of so much genre fiction by letting the new world wash over you rather than scream that things aren’t right with the space that these characters inhabit.

Chiropractors As Profiles In Insecurity

I laugh when everyone gives their first names at a Jewish gathering except for chiropractors who are so insecure, they invariably introduce themselves as “Dr….”. They are the only group to do this. Real medical doctors don’t do this socially. Even when chiros are acquaintances of mine and I am just chatting with them, they might well call themselves Dr. Smith or some such.

Real doctors don’t introduce themselves as “Dr…”

Occasionally, I will meet insecure academics (who are not medical doctors) who introduce themselves as Dr. Smith etc.

* Nice lady in line at Ralphs says to me tonight: “You should go ahead of me.”
I look at her cart and protest: “But I’ve got more stuff.”
Lady: “I’ve got slipped discs in my neck. I need to wait for someone to help me.”
Luke: “Here, let me help you.”
I stack her items from her cart to the checkout tray.
Luke: “Have you tried chiropractic?”
Lady: “Yes, but it’s expensive.”
When I finish stacking her items, I say: “I teach the Alexander Technique. It might help.”
Lady: “The Alexander Technique. Do you have a card?”

What About Yellow Privilege?

From Just Not Said blog:

The way yellow people walk around not realizing what unearned privileges they enjoy is enough to drive anyone crazy. Asians have an invisible package of unearned assets that they can count on to cash in every single day of their privileged lives. They may not see themselves as the oppressors in a damaged culture, but this just makes it all the worse.

They can take their lily-yellow asses anywhere and people will not be suspect them of being alcoholics or meth-heads.

No one assumes they’re spoiled trust fund babies.

No one ever assumes that they are acting like bullies, or partying too loudly.

There’s never any pressure on them to be the life of a party, or to crack funny jokes.

Nobody will automatically assume that they’re the kind of morons who can’t perform quadratic equations in their heads, or recite the periodic table.

And police are far more likely to arrest a white than a yellow. (Can you spell P-R-O-F-I-L-I-N-G?)

How did Asians come by these unearned privileges? By oppressing whites. Teachers obviously discriminate against whites, as does the Educational Testing Service. It has to be obvious to any right-thinking person that standardized tests have been rigged to discriminate against whites.

It’s a racist system, and it’s high time the concept of yellow privilege was taught in colleges.

No justice, no peace!

Is Israel’s Legitimacy At Stake If It Kills One Innocent Palestinian?

I notice that in all the coverage of police killings of unarmed black men in America, nobody ever says the country’s legitimacy as a nation is at stake. But just imagine if Israel did the same thing to a couple of Palestinians?

The novelist Tom Clancy, no fan of the Jews, imagined just that in his 1991 novel The Sum of All Fears. The following scene takes place after Israeli police kill two unarmed Palestinians who are demonstrating peacefully. The protagonist, Jack Ryan, is Clancy’s alter ego:

“Sooner or later, the Arabs had to wise up,” Jack said. Alden nodded agreement. It was gracious of him, Jack noted. He’d said the same thing in one of his books several years earlier.

“I think Israel can weather this, they always have -” Jack cut his Director off.

“No way, boss,” Ryan said. Someone had to straighten Cabot out. “It’s what Napoleon said about the moral and the physical. Israel depends absolutely on having the moral high-ground. Their whole cachet is that they are the only democracy in the region, that they are the guys in white hats. That concept died about three hours ago. Now they look like Bull – whoever it was – in Selma, Alabama, except he used water hoses. The civil-rights community is going to go berserk.” Jack paused to sip at his coffee. “It’s a simple question of justice. When the Arabs were throwing rocks and cocktails, the police could say that they were using force in response to force. Not this time. Both the deaders were sitting down and not threatening anybody.”

“It’s the isolated act of one deranged man!” Cabot announced angrily.

“Not so, sir. The one shot with a pistol was like you say, but the first victim was killed with two of those rubber bullets at a range of more than twenty yards – with two aimed shots from a single-shot weapon. That’s cold, and it wasn’t any accident.”

“Are we sure he’s dead?” Alden asked.

“My wife’s a doc, and he looked dead to her. The body spasmed and went limp, probably indicating death from massive head trauma. They can’t say this guy tripped and fell onto the curb. This really changes things. If the Palestinians are smart, they’ll double-down their bets. They’ll stay with this tactic and wait for the world to respond. If they do that, they can’t lose,” Jack concluded.

“I agree with Ryan,” Alden said. “There’ll be a UN resolution before dinner. We’ll have to go along with it, and that just might show the Arabs that non-violence is a better weapon than rocks are. What will the Israelis say? How will they react?”

Alden knew what the answer was. This was to enlighten the DCI, so Ryan took the question. “First they’ll stonewall. They’re probably kicking themselves for not intercepting the tape, but it’s a little late for that. This was almost certainly an unplanned incident – I mean that the Israeli government is as surprised as we are – otherwise they would have grabbed the TV crew. That police captain is having his brain picked apart now. By lunchtime they’ll say that he’s crazy – hell, he probably is – and that this is an isolated act. How they do their damage control is predictable, but -”

“It’s not going to work,” Alden interrupted. “The President’s going to have to have a statement out by nine.”

We can’t call this a “tragic incident.” It’s cold-blooded murder of an unarmed demonstrator by a state official.”

“Look, Charlie, this is just an isolated incident,” Director Cabot said again.

“Maybe so, but I’ve been predicting this for five years.” The National Security Advisor stood and walked to the windows. “Marcus, the only thing that has held Israel together for the past thirty years has been the stupidity of the Arabs. Either they never recognized that Israeli legitimacy is based entirely on their moral position or they just didn’t have the wit to care about it. Israel is now faced with an impossible ethical contradiction. If they really are a democracy that respects the rights of its citizens, they have to grant the Arabs broader rights. But that means playing hell with their political integrity, which depends on soothing their own extreme religious elements – and that crowd doesn’t care a rat’s ass about Arab rights, does it? But if they cave in to the religious zealots and stonewall, try to gloss over this thing, then they are not a democracy, and that imperils the political support from America without which they cannot survive economically or militarily. The same dilemma applies to us. Our support for Israel is based on their political legitimacy as a functioning liberal democracy, but that legitimacy just evaporated. A country whose police murder unarmed people has no legitimacy, Marcus. We can no more support an Israel that does things like this than we could have supported Somoza, Marcos, or any other tinpot dictator -”

“God damn it, Charlie! Israel isn’t-”

“I know that, Marcus. They’re not. They’re really not. But the only way they can prove that is to change, to become true to what they have always claimed to be. If they stonewall on this, Marcus, they’re doomed. They’ll lean on their political lobby and find out it isn’t there anymore. If it goes that far, then they embarrass our government even more than it already is, and we’ll be faced with the possible necessity of overtly cutting them off. We can’t do that either. We must find another alternative.” Alden turned back from the window. “Ryan, that idea of yours is now on the front burner. I’ll handle the President and State. The only way we can get Israel out of this is to find some kind of a peace plan that works.

Jewish Migration Patterns

Steve Sailer writes: It was only when I got back from college in 1980 did I notice any Israelis in the SFV. The Israeli Influx I first noticed while playing 3 on 3 basketball at Valley College. There was a customary way regulating who would be the next team to challenge the team that had just won, but an Israeli threesome simply walked on the court. The team of laidback Valley Boys who were, by tradition, the next to play politely pointed out how the system worked, so one of the Hebrew-accented interlopers grabbed the Valley Boy by the shoulders and attempted to head-butt his face in.

COMMENTS:

* I almost got ripped off by an Israeli locksmith in New York City. I didn’t really think anything of it and just assumed it was a New York thing until later on I heard that there were a lot of Israelis in the locksmith business throughout the US and that complaints of scams, frauds, and rip-offs regarding them were common and that people even referred to there being an “Israeli locksmith mafia”. Apparently Israeli locksmith rings operate even in places like Missouri.

* I’m not sure if this is the case in the US, but in Canada many Israelis tend to be very aggressive sellers of cosmetics/creams supposedly made from dead sea minerals at shopping centre kiosks. The women are extremely beautiful and know how to reel you in. As a man, you have to learn how to say no or they will burn a hole in your wallet.

Showering Daily Is Apparently A White Thing

Report: After moderator Nicolle Wallace defended the fact that she showers three times a day (pre- and post-show, plus once before bed), the Fox beauty chimed in with a headline-making hypothesis.

“I think that white people shower a lot more than ethnic,” Rivera said as Wallace couldn’t help but burst out into a fit of giggles. ” I feel like showering more than once a day or every day is such a white people thing.”
The audience and other show co-hosts were visibly stunned by the statement and people jumped in to correct her. But Rivera stuck to her guns. “My mom is half black, half Puerto Rican. She showers every day, so I can say this,” Rivera said. “But I’m now married to a white man [husband Ryan Dorsey] “And he showers a lot, like two, three times a day.I’m like, ‘What are you doing?'”

NPR: U.Va. Reinstates Fraternity Accused In ‘Rolling Stone’ Rape Story

From comments to Steve Sailer:

* I don’t think we can say for sure whether or not Ukrainian boys were ritually sacrificed so that their blood could be baked into Passover matza. New evidence still might be discovered.

Anyway, the local Jewish villagers did need to reform, and so the pogroms did teach them good lessons.

* NPR is such a soothing cocoon of liberal pieties. Everything is carefully shaped to not challenge or discomfit the intellectually upper-crust liberal. The discerning liberal can count on every story to be exactly as expected.

It is interesting to notice how NPR has evolved over time. It’s tone has become quite elderly. Much less righteous indignation calling us to storm the ramparts. Much more soothing and pre-chewed morsels so as not to tax our digestion too much. It has become a combination of a liberal country-club and a liberal retirement home.

* They are just stalling for time at this point (and shamelessly trying to consolidate gains while some shred of ambiguity remains). Eventually, the police and CJR are both (no matter how biased they are) going to have to fess up that there is not one bit of credible evidence that any assault whatsoever occurred.

The frats are wimps for agreeing to go along with these “reforms” in response to a hoax during this window, but the procedures agreed to are largely window dressing anyway and do not fundamentally alter their right to serve alcohol. It’s really amazing though how “feminists” haven’t really thought of anything new since Carrie Nation. After the end of nationwide Prohibition, in some states there were rearguard actions where various dumb restrictions were imposed on alcohol sales – you had to belong to a “club” or could not sell mixed drinks, etc. Naturally, these did nothing to actually discourage alcohol consumption but cause people to despise their rulers and their petty nonsense.

* CBS radio also wanted a hand in curing the cement of this story. In its top of the hour news last week it said Rolling Stone’s account had irregularities. I suppose we’re to remember its Dan Rather story of W’s sign-up as having what—grammar errors?

MORE COMMENTS:

* So has anyone lost a job let alone gone to jail over this travesty. Sullivan should be history, that she isn’t is further proof that being left not only means you never have to say you’re sorry, it means there are no consequences whatsoever.

* Interesting that the college prez thinks that she can just brazen it out and admit nothing…that way, the whole mess will eventually go away and all that will be left are the “addenda” the fraternities have agreed to. She may be right.
I am not surprised that the NYT has chosen not to explore the story, but I am surprised that the fraternities folded so quickly. They acted as if they were actually guilty of something. An interesting display of the powerlessness of the privileged white male on campus.

* Ann Coulter wrote a column last month in which she described how the left often stages hoaxes, and then demands changes to the system or law to prevent the recurrence of the event which never really happened in the first place. Though this case was not mentioned in her column, it appears now it fits the pattern with these new rules to protect future Jackies from the devious barkeep Haven Monahan.

* “A Man forbids his wife to drink too much because, deep in his secret archives, he has records of the behavior of other women who drank too much, and is eager to safeguard his wife’s self-respect, and his own dignity, against what he knows to be certain invasion. In brief, it is a commonplace of observation, familiar to all males beyond the age of twenty-one, that once a woman is drunk the rest is a mere matter of time and place: the girl is already there.” ― H.L. Mencken, Prejudices

* The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. ― H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women

* I hope Sabrina Rubin will grant me an interview.

I have a story of rape to tell.

2 yrs ago, I used to work as an intern at the NYT. A bunch of editors asked me to stay after hours and when I did, they turned off the lights and raped me for 5 hrs. And then they put me in a bag and took me to the office of CNN and raped me for 5 more hrs with the CNN staff including a tranny with a beer bottle and a lesbian with a strap on.

And then put me in a bag and drove me to Harvard and raped me for 5 hrs more with the staff of Harvard Law school.

I don’t know how I survived but I demand something be done about NYT, CNN, and Harvard.

* Jackie should have said she was Hispanic and that her fake non existent Blond male rapists were immigration restrictionists who are members of The Minute Men Project and that after they raped her they spray painted “STAY OUT OF OUR COUNTRY YOU DIRTY WETBACK” all over her dorm room. She would have gotten even more sympathy from the progressive left wing establishment.

* I just want to point out how insidious the editorial supervision is at the NYT. Look at the headline (typically written by the editor): it’s impossible to distinguish whether the reinstatement went forward BECAUSE OF the members’ innocence, or IN SPITE OF their guilt. The awkwardly-worded lead gives the same ambiguous impression, where “allegations” “unraveled” could easily be taken to mean something like a botched prosecution.

The result is that the naive reader scanning the headlines and lead paragraphs is arguably being misled, and at the least receives nothing in the way of useful information on the real UVA story. No serious editor would tolerate that level of ineptitude in the basic function of journalism. Which validates the comment way above that the NYT is a propaganda outfit. And it’s hardly alone.
