Some Jews Suffer From Pre-Traumatic Syndrome

This is not how I was raised as a WASP. I was taught to keep a stiff upper lip and to not complain… Things have changed since I converted to Judaism. I’m listening to some Jews go into Pre-Traumatic Syndrome, ranting that UC Davis is filled with Nazis and Stanford University is divesting from Israel and the world is coming to an end, ISIS is coming over the boarder…

REPORT: “The Undergraduate Senate of Stanford University passed an Israel divestment bill Tuesday that had been defeated last week.”

What’s going on with Patton Oswalt?

REPORT: Last year he caught flak for tweeting an iSteve article about PC being a war on noticing. Then it came out that he’s been friends for some time with Jim Goad, the hilarious writer for Taki, who’s pretty much openly racist, homophobic, and anti-semitic. Now Buzzfeed has what appears to be a fairly recent picture of Oswalt hanging out with not just Goad, but also Nick Bougas. Bougas is much better known as A. Wyatt Mann, the cartoonist who drew sometimes hilarious but always shockingly offensive cartoons about Jews, blacks, and Mexicans for White Aryan Resistance, Tom Metzger’s old newspaper.

Oswalt has always been pretty left-wing politically, but it’s always been sort of clear from his rants about the tastes and intelligence of KFC customers that he doesn’t think much of low IQ blacks, which pretty much everyone knows is KFC’s main base. But he seems to be really pushing the envelope hanging out with Jim Goad and A. Wyatt Mann. But this article has been out for a few days and I haven’t noticed it getting much traction. It’s hard to believe Larry the Cable Guy could hang out with Goad and Bougas and not catch hell.

And notice how the writer tries to spin Bougas’s cartoons as possibly “ironic”, saying that Bougas may have drawn them to ridicule racists. They appeared in Tom Metzger’s paper, for crying out loud. They were apparently commissioned by Metzger. The idea that these cartoons were”ironic” is ludicrous.

Selma & The Forward Distorts History by Airbrushing Out Jewish Communist Contributions to Civil Rights

On January 5, 2015, the Forward had this long pious op/ed that begins: “When filmmakers choose what to include or exclude from the stories they tell, their choices often have repercussions beyond the drama on the screen. In films based on real-life events, omissions can seriously distort the way we remember the past. “Selma,” a film directed by Ava DuVernay, offers an ambitious portrait of Martin Luther King by zeroing in on a pivotal moment in the black voting rights struggle. The negative way in which President Lyndon Johnson is portrayed has already sparked significant controversy, but the narrative strategy of the film leads to a glaring omission that has not yet surfaced: the contribution that thousands of white people, many of them Jewish, made to the Civil Rights Movement.”

Understandably, the op/ed does not mention the CPUSA (Communist Party of the USA) promotion of Civil Rights going back to the 1920s and the dominant role that Jews played in American communism.

From Wikipedia:

The Communist Party USA, ideologically committed to foster a Socialist revolution in the United States, played a significant role in defending the civil rights of African Americans during its most influential years of the 1930s and 1940s. In that period, the African-American population was still concentrated in the South, where they were largely disenfranchised, excluded from the political system, and oppressed under Jim Crow laws…

In its early days, the party had the greatest appeal among black workers with an internationalist bent. From 1920 it began to intensively recruit African Americans as members. The most prominent black Communist Party members at this time were largely immigrants from the West Indies, who viewed a black worker struggle as being part of the broader campaigns against capitalism and imperialism.

At the 1922 Fourth Congress of the Comintern, Claude McKay, a Jamaican poet, and Otto Huiswoud, born in Suriname, persuaded the Comintern to set up a multinational Negro Commission that sought to unite all movements of blacks fighting colonialism. Harry Haywood, [1] an American communist drawn out of the ranks of the African Blood Brotherhood, a socialist group with a large number of Jamaican émigrés in its leadership, also played a leading role. McKay persuaded the founders of the Brotherhood to affiliate with the Communist Party in the early 1920s. The African Blood Brotherhood claimed to have almost 3,500 members; relatively few of them, however, joined the party.

The Comintern directed the American party in 1924 to redouble its efforts to organize African Americans…

The Sixth Congress of the Comintern held in 1928 changed the party’s policy drastically; it claimed that blacks in the United States were a separate national group and that black farmers in the South were an incipient revolutionary force. The Comintern ordered the party to press the demand for a separate nation for blacks within the so-called “Black Belt”, a swath of counties with a majority-black population extending from eastern Virginia and the Carolinas through central Georgia, Alabama, the delta regions of Mississippi and Louisiana and the coastal areas of Texas…

The party’s most widely reported work in the South was its defense, through the International Labor Defense (ILD), of the “Scottsboro Boys”, nine black men arrested in 1931 in Scottsboro, Alabama after a fight with some white men also riding the rails. They were convicted and sentenced to death for allegedly raping two white women on the same train. None of the defendants had shared the same boxcar as either of the women they were charged with raping.

The International Labor Defense was the first to offer its assistance. William L. Patterson, a black attorney who had left a successful practice to join the Communist Party, returned from training in the Soviet Union to run the ILD. After fierce disputes with the NAACP, with the ILD seeking to mount a broad-based political campaign to free the nine while the NAACP followed a more legalistic strategy, the ILD took control of the defendants’ appeals. The ILD attracted national press attention to the case, and highlighted the racial injustices in the region…

The Scottsboro defense was one of the ILD’s many cases in the South at that time: it also defended Angelo Herndon, a Communist Party activist sentenced to death by the State of Georgia for treason due to his advocacy of national self-determination for blacks in the Black Belt. The ILD also demanded retribution from state governments for the families of lynching victims, for their failure to protect blacks. It pushed for due process for criminal defendants. For a period of time in the early and mid-1930s, the ILD was the most active defender of blacks’ civil rights in the South; it was the most popular party organization among African Americans…

The party was also active in campaigning on issues concerning black Americans outside of the South. The CPUSA made a point of campaigning against racial segregation, both in the independent unions they were organizing during the Third Period and in the American Federation of Labor unions they were attacking. The party also made a concerted effort to weed out all forms of racism within its own membership, conducting a well-publicized trial of a Finnish member of a foreign-language federation in Harlem, who had acted insensitively toward blacks.

The CPUSA organized among African Americans in the North on their local issues; it was, for example, either the first or one of the most active organizations in campaigning against evictions of tenants, for unemployment benefits, and against police brutality. In other instances during this period, the Communist Party joined in existing campaigns, such as the economic boycott, under the slogan of “Don’t Buy Where You Can’t Work,” launched against Jewish and Italian businesses in Harlem that refused to hire African-American workers…

Communists joined with labor and civil rights groups to form the Southern Conference for Human Welfare, which campaigned for civil rights and socialism. A New York City school teacher and party member, Abel Meeropol, wrote the song “Strange Fruit” to dramatize the horrors of lynching in the South, which had reached a peak around the turn of the century.

The party tailored its campaign for unity against fascism to appeal to the black community, as in the case of its opposition to the Italian invasion of Ethiopia in 1935. Black members went to Spain to fight in the Spanish Civil War; the Lincoln Brigade was the first military force of Americans to include blacks and whites integrated on an equal basis and black officers commanding white troops…

The Communist Party made the fight against racism within the labor movement and Jim Crow outside it one of its consistent principles from the early 1920s forward. While maintaining a position against white supremacy, the Party made special efforts to organize black miners in the strikes its National Miners Union led in western Pennsylvania in 1928…

During the Popular Front era the party attracted support from a number of the brightest lights in African-American literature, including Langston Hughes, Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, Chester Himes, some of whom joined the party, only to break with it in later years. Paul Robeson, a vocal defender of the Soviet Union, apparently never joined the party, but was loyal to at least a few of its members including Ben Davis who was jailed under The Smith Act.

The Communist Party also took up benign issues. The party’s newspaper, The Daily Worker, started agitating for integration of major league baseball in the mid-1930s. The party also made a point of integrating its dances and other social events and continued to ostracize and expel members accused of “white chauvinism”…

In 1946, the NNC and the ILD merged to form the Civil Rights Congress. The CRC continued its activities during the height of postwar attacks on the Communist Party, denouncing discrimination in the judicial system, segregated housing, and other forms of discrimination that blacks faced in both the North and the South.

Why Is South Korea So Rich?

Will its experiment in multi-culturalism and multi-racialism lead to more prosperity? Will immigrants show the way forward?

Anthropologist Peter Frost writes:

“You’ll see Filipinos, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indonesians, other SE Asians, and then you’ll see your Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans…..they are everywhere, at bus stops, at bus terminals, at your grocery stores, walking around in packs and large groups, many of them loiter around the alley ways or behind grocery store buildings and have little meetings speaking loudly in their native tongues. At night, if you listen out your windows, you’ll hear mostly Vietnamese and Tagalog guys and girls yelling and screaming either in drunken stupor or just flirtatious exuberance…”

South Korea is prosperous because it has … Koreans. Replacing them with immigrants will destroy its competitive advantage. We see this in the poor performance of second-generation immigrants, which is only partly due to social or linguistic handicaps. There is also a cognitive deficiency that persists even when these handicaps are greatly reduced. Sure, more research is needed. In the meantime, wouldn’t it be best to put this massive demographic experiment on hold?

It’s not too late for South Korea to change course. To do so, however, will require a willingness to chart one’s own course, as opposed to blindly following what others do.

Homeland Security

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* I do background investigations for the U.S. Government for national security clearances. (confidential, secret, top secret, SCI, et al.). I would say 25-30% of my work involves recent immigrants from the third world [non-Latin America]. I will work on DHS/ICE TS clearances for people getting good fed jobs for critical-sensitive positions who moved from Mogadishu five years ago and got his/her college degree online. I will get people joining the U.S. military from Sub-Saharan Africa who are non-U.S. citizens getting TS clearances. These people come from lands where there are no street addresses yet I’m required to talk with their neighbors and canvas their neighborhoods. I’ll get TSA employees who were born in North Africa who have 20 financial accounts in collection, have been fired from a few previous jobs, have criminal records, yet they are never let go. I have TSA managers who are suspended for 5 days for testing positive for cocaine… three times, yet not only return to their jobs but get promoted. It is a Through the Looking Glass world and no one seems to give a shit.

The Planet’s Racial Breakdown In 2011

According to projections:

4.5B Asians
4-4.5B Blacks
1B Whites
1B Hispanics

* Haiti has ten 10,000 foreign NGOs but hours of Internet searching found maybe one or two that were doing anything related to family planning.

Death Comes to Pemberley

Steve Sailer writes: The TV miniseries adaptation of Death Comes to Pemberley isn’t bad. They should have had more scenes of Elizabeth Bennett sparring wittily with the grande dame, but it’s a pretty good Tory worldview TV, in the manner of Downton Abbey.

Comments:

* The miniseries is better than the book, I’d say: looks good (with one exception I’ll get to shortly), the plot moves along smartly (much more so than in the book), and its director/producers/actors mostly manage to avoid that fluffy tongue-in-cheek over-doing-it you sometimes see in bad historical dramas. Oh, and the actress who plays Lydia just burns up the screen; she’s extremely hot, and she plays Austen’s character much better than good ol’ Saffy Monsoon in the classic 1995 Pride and Prejudice miniseries.

The main drawback is the woman who plays Elizabeth. Solid enough actress — she’s great in the recent Bletchley Circle miniseries — but she’s too cranky-looking to play even a matronly Lizzie.

* The actress who plays Elizabeth Bennett would have been perfect to star in an Eleanor Roosevelt biopic.

Jenna Coleman as Lydia is terrific as a comic relief sex kitten version of Scarlett O’Hara. Would she be too distracting as Elizabeth Bennett? And then who do they cast as Lydia?

The actress who plays Elizabeth is terrific at the rapid fire exchange of polite insults with battle-ax Lady Catherine de Bourgh, but they don’t have any of that kind of Jane Austen humor until the third hour. They should have put more witty repartee scenes at the beginning and only then plunged into the somber murder mystery. They probably should have figured out how to bring onscreen William F. Buckley-lookalike Matthew Goode as Lydia’s rapscallion husband Wickham to banter with Elizabeth and get Mr. Darcy jealous again at the beginning, before the mysterious death makes everything so serious.

Anyway, it’s a very Tory miniseries. P.D. James was Mrs. Thatcher’s favorite mystery writer so she made her a Baroness.

* I hate to say it, but there does seem to be a certain viciousness, and gross irrationality and unfairness, in a non-trivial number of women in positions of power. Most women in these positions are, I think, alright enough–some even very decent and compassionate. But there are number of them who seem to believe that they need not in any way be bound by any sense of fairness or objectivity–or perhaps they don’t even have a good grasp of the concept of fairness or objectivity. They seem to be able to rationalize to themselves and others any negative impulse they have toward an individual; they can always find and exaggerate some defect to justify their preexisting bias; there need not be any basis for their extreme judgments in anything resembling reality. Men do this to, on occasion, but I just don’t see them doing so in anything like the numbers one sees in women. Men seem to get embarrassed when it is pointed out, or it becomes apparent, that their judgments are out of touch with reality. Women in these positions often don’t, and simply double down on their irrational conclusions.

The more I’ve seen of women in these positions, the more apparent this fact has become to me. It’s surprising how prevalent the phenomenon seems to be.

* The problem for the Christians is that the movie pulls the rug out from under their carefully crafted image of the essentially pure female (a contradiction of traditional Christian views, BTW), and does so in a way that’s impossible to ignore.

If our culture awakens to a more realistic appraisal of female sexuality – and that looks likely at this point – those selling us the sham version will be totally discredited.

* It’s the Hollywood Reporter taking sides with the Hollywood crowd.

Taylor-Johnson has ONE full-length film and 4 shorts to her credit in 19 YEARS as a director. Maybe boy toy is keeping her worn out! How did she get the gig in the first place? The fact that the studio has everyone but her wrapped up for the full ride is also telling; judging by her career, it’s not like she’s too busy.

Of course this is all about the gender. A male author would have just cashed the checks and spent the shoot banging assistants.

A male director would have walked after the second fight.

What Does It Mean To Have Deep Roots In A Community?

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* The NYT story, of course, is ridiculous. It repeatedly states that the Latino community has “deep roots” in Pasco, yet it cites low levels of civic involvement perhaps due to “apathy”. The victim himself had been in the United States 10 years but spoke no English – did he have “deep roots”?

Deep roots is not synomymous with being somewhere for some time – it connotes making an investment in a community to produce future growth (hence the “roots”).

* In addition to any Ferguson-like motives, maybe this piece is also trying make us whites who live in flyover country better cater to our new amigos. From the article they reference the language barrier and the fact many of the residents in Pasco, including the victim, don’t speak English. “Of the city’s 68 officers, 14 are Hispanic. A dozen officers speak Spanish fluently, and some residents cite language barriers that complicate interactions with the police. “

I noticed yesterday another NY Times article complaining about immigrants in our hinterlands not having access to all the essentials they do in big towns like NYC. From that article, “Yet the kinds of services that immigrants rely on — low-cost legal help, language classes, interpretation and public transportation — have not kept pace with demand and remain disproportionately concentrated in big cities, scholars and immigrant advocates say.”

So maybe this is part of their push to make us in flyover country shoulder more of the burden. After all, if we make our flyover territory more hospitable to the newcomers, it might make gentrification of cool cities easier.

One final point, I’ve taken a couple of foreign languages, both of which were European and used the Latin alphabet. Though I have forgotten much, I found I could rather easily pick up those languages because of the similarities to English, especially with the alphabet.

So I find it odd that in both NY Times articles above, they discuss or interview people who have been in this nation for over a decade, yet cannot speak English despite the fact that Spanish is their native language. Wouldn’t a Spanish speaker have an easier time picking up English than a Chinese whose native language is so different?

* “He was arrested for assaulting a police officer in January 2014. The police said he had thrown objects at officers and tried to grab an officer’s pistol. He pleaded guilty in June.”

Why did this guy seem to make a habit of harassing police officers? He was also an illegal alien.

Commonsense From Japan

This racial segregation happens naturally. Almost everyone prefers to work, socialize, worship and live with their own kind.

I disagree with the author about immigration. Immigrants will bring more disharmony to Japan than they are worth, particularly the ones with low IQs.

REPORT: A prominent Japanese author and columnist who advised the government has called for Japan to adopt a system to force immigrant workers to live in separate zones based on race.

In a regular column published in the Feb. 11 edition of the conservative daily Sankei Shimbun, Ayako Sono said immigrants, especially those providing elderly care, would ease the difficulties in Japan’s nursing sector.

She also said that, while it was fine for people of all races to work, do research, and socialize with each other, they should also live apart from each other. “Since learning about the situation in South Africa 20 or 30 years ago, I’ve come to think that whites, Asians, and blacks should live separately,” Sono wrote.

Sono, who was appointed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to an education reform panel in 2013, cited an unspecified whites-only apartment complex in Johannesburg that black South Africans moved into after apartheid ended. She said there was a problem because black people tended to bring large families into small apartments.

“Black people basically have a philosophy of large families. Therefore, they would bring their families into the apartment they bought. For whites and Asians, it was common sense for a couple and two children to live in one complex. But blacks ended up having 20 to 30 family members living there,” she wrote.

Sono went on to say that with so many people in such a small space, the water quickly ran out and the white people were forced to leave.”People can work, research, and socialize together. But only in terms of residence should they be separated,” she concluded.

Drudge: Jew Hell In Paris

I watched the video. It captured the worst moments from ten hours of walking around all of Paris.

Frankly, it did not seem that bad to me. Some Jews spit on Christians in Jerusalem and some Jews spit whenever they pass a church or say a prayer referencing idolatry. Here at least the goyim didn’t spit on the Jew, they just spat as he passed.

If this video shows the worst of what a Jew can expect in Paris, it doesn’t seem that bad to me. I find it hard to believe that somebody in Muslim regalia passing through the most Jewish parts of Israel would not encounter the same sort of treatment.

I would think it weird if a Jew passing through a Muslim neighborhood anywhere did not encounter hostility just as I would expect Muslims to encounter hostility when they pass through Jewish neighborhoods. Jewish hostility will be more subtle and less likely to be criminal because Jews are on average more intelligent and think more about the consequences of their behavior.

I know that when I see Muslims in full regalia in a Jewish neighborhood, I’m not pleased. Many of my Jewish friends feel great hostility when they encounter Muslims in full regalia around Los Angeles. We don’t see anything because we have comparatively high IQs and we don’t want negative consequences to careless words.

Different groups have different interests. Who is shocked that French Gentiles, French Jews and French Muslims want different things? They are of different genetic stock, have different cranial capacities and have different histories.

How many whites would feel unsafe walking around parts of America and Europe? How much of that is due to non-white immigration? How influential were Jewish groups in pushing for that non-white immigration?

Black crime exploded in America after the Civil Rights revolution. How many non-blacks have been slaughtered and raped as a result? To what extent is Civil Rights legislation responsible for the jump in black crime? To what extent were Jews responsible for Civil Rights for blacks?

Barbara Lerner Spectre runs a government funded Jewish study group in Sweden. She says: “I think there is a resurgence of anti-Semitism because at this point in time Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Europe is not going to be the monolithic societies they once were in the last century. Jews are going to be at the centre of that. It’s a huge transformation for Europe to make. They are now going into a multicultural mode and Jews will be resented because of our leading role. But without that leading role and without that transformation, Europe will not survive.”

Jews are going to teach Europe to be multi-cultural. How’s that working out? Jews have played a significant role in encouraging Muslim immigration into Europe. How’s that working out for Europe and for Jews? How many whites feel unsafe walking around Europe and America as a result of Jewish groups trying to make American and Europe more multi-cultural and multi-racial and immigrant friendly and Jew friendly?

There are parts of Australia where Jews do not feel safe. Are these the homogenous largely-white parts? No. Regional Australia is safe for Jews. It is the chaotic multi-racial big cities such as Sydney and Melbourne where Australians have the most experience with Jews that Jews are most in danger.
