The Dissident Right Needs Better Speakers

I’ve heard Heather speak many times and she’s always struck me as articulate and impressive.

A friend says: “What Heartiste meant is that she is not enough of a demagogue when she speaks. In fact, for the right audience, she is a terrific speaker and advocate. Heartiste would rather that she be more polished and a better polemicist such as Ann Coulter. Unfortunately, a speaker or writer’s voice in some way has to reflect the speaker’s personality. I don’t know what Ann Coulter is like but her writing style, speaking style have been so developed that if her personality differed initially, its all merged now. MacDonald never wrote to shock, but to set forth in a cold clear bloodless brief style her strongest case. She speaks the same way which is not conducive to speaking in sound bites. Heartiste wants her to be something other than what she is. At her age (born in 1956) she isn’t going to change.”

From the Chateau: Heather Mac Donald was recently a guest on NPR to discuss (as the one token representative of the right to balance the four leftists) the myth of the black lives matter narrative. Her hatefacts were unassailable, and to her credit she did not shy from dropping the most explosive truth bombs on the NPRatchiks (you could practically hear them sucking in breath between their teeth). But, her speaking and debating style was halting, labored, and lacking inflection, leaving the listener with the obviously misleading perception that she lacked the smarts or gravitas to know what she was talking about.

This is something I’ve noticed with more than a few public Realtalkers; they express themselves much more cleanly and forcefully in writing than at roundtables full of sneering leftoids. If the Dissident Party is to get off the ground, it needs better impromptu public speakers — Trump is a great example — who can parry leftoids on their turf. Machiavellianism comes more naturally to leftoids, so taking them on will demand a certain facility with the crimson arts.

I think what holds back Dissident mastery of the public sphere is self-doubt. There still lingers a hesitation to embrace the ugly truth with both arms, hugging it till it becomes one with the soul. When the last shadow of doubt is expelled, the fire within can glow again, and only then will NPR echo chambers quake and crumble under the persuasive might of righteous alt-right rebellion.

Executive summary: Game matters, most of all when the truth needs selling to a catatonic public.

* I hear what you are saying and that’s why Nigel Farage is such a rock star. The guy can deliver in public.

* A combination of self-doubt and the understanding that expressing hate facts as if one should actually change public policy can get you Richwine’d or Watson’d or Summers’d or Derb’d. Much safer for one’s own hide to express hate facts as curious academic findings warranting further study. Only a truly NFG spokesman, like Trump, will deliver the message in a populist, convincing way. If one has anything of value to lose, the enemy is too strong at the moment. Hence the reason Le Heartiste is anonymous.

* Jean Marie Lepen has been at the front of right wing politics for more than 50 years in France (saddly getting a bit old and senile now).

The next generation looks pretty hot: Marion Maréchal Lepen . She is a bit softer/more pc than her grand-father.

* The Right has trouble in debates because they’re required to think before they speak, which eliminates the cool, suave wittiness of friendly conversation. The Left doesn’t need to think; they merely recite the same things “everybody” else is saying, with enough individualized spin, charisma, attitude, or what-have-you to make their words sound better. They aren’t challenging each other, nor are they learning anything of value by listening to each other. They don’t think.

That’s what makes a debate between the Right and the Left so difficult. The Right has to think their way through the conversation (like Men), while the Left thoughtlessly vomits up whatever nonsense they’ve heard that made them feel good about themselves (like women).

Game is brilliant in these matters. Don’t bother debating. Hold frame. Tease them. Call them out on their nonsense and make them feel bad, then give them a conversational pathway to feel good. They’ll take it. They have to. They don’t have the mental ability to think for themselves, and they have no idea what you’re doing or how game works or why they like you so much even though they hate you.

Don’t worry about the issues. That argument was previously lost, and it can’t be gained back in a culture that openly despises logic. So work their feelings. It’s their weak point, as they’ve purposely built up their own personal feelings as more important that truth, reality, or general Goodness. You can’t win with the issues. You can only win by teasing them until they feel too silly to speak.

* Ben Shapiro is a great at verbal war but he pulls the same magic act on nice conservative folk that has been done to them for 60 years: Align on a few issues, but eskimoisrael is the absolute #1 no compromise.

I wanted to like him, I really wanted to like him after his gun debate with sniveling Piers Morgan, but he is very staunchly pro-eskimo in a way that is really irritating. If you want to find his few golden quips, you have to sift through mountains of him calling people anti-semitic.

* Yes, and with such folks, you will ALWAYS be betrayed. Those unaware of this are surprised when suddenly the Zionists and their loyals suddenly turn against the best and brightest on the Right, denouncing them as “extremists”. The average member doesn’t understand and says “Why can’t we all just get along?”

“Because he said this and this!” shout the Zios. “So he’s an extremist! He makes us all look bad!”

The ordinary member will go along with them for the sake of peace. Only a few people will be expelled, but then there will be peace. And those people get so angry during this process (surprise, surprise), so maybe the Zios were right, they really do cause trouble.

And then one of those expelled says something REALLY forbidden about the Zios, because he just doesn’t care to keep silent anymore. Now, we can’t have that. The ordinary member is relieved that he now has a good reason for supporting the expulsion.

And so it begins. This happens over and over again in nationalist parties, which are infiltrated by the usual suspects – but only when the hard, initial work has been done for many years, so that the party could get off the ground.

It will happen in the alt-Right too. People are holding up the Breitbart website as alt-Right now. That website is a very late member, set up by the Jew Breitbart only after people sacrificed careers and relationships to spread the truth for many years. Now you have a Jew like the homosexual Milo Yiannopolous there, saying some easy anti-mainstream lines – then denouncing “White supremacists”.

The same guy also declares that he would never sleep with a White man, only Black men. They love saying disgusting things as a by-the-way in a discussion about something else, knowing people will keep silent for the sake of unity. And he claims that homosexuals are “natural allies” to the alt-Right because they are “anti-mainstream”, the media being mainstream. False and absurd, but people keep silent in the comment section so as to not rock the boat. Giving loyalty to those who show no loyalty. You have to recognize the infiltrators’ modus operandi.

* The most important thing on the alt-right is that we stick with our own kind.

Don’t trust a yid or black on anything.

It’s like these cucks who want to get behind Ben Carson because he throws you a few bones.

* It’s what I am saying about writing fiction vs practical non-fiction. The former is like masturbating. You can make shit up as you go along. The latter requires real effort to get it right in a way that captivates readers. Leftists write fiction.

* It doesn’t help that most right-wing women, especially “reasonable” ones like Heather MacDonald, are natural appeasers and temporizers, as opposed to the deranged harpies of the left. It take a woman who is a fanatic, and two-thirds nuts herself, like Ann Coulter, to really go for the throat and stuff these people. As Eric Hoffer once said, “If you have a cause that needs fighting for, you had better get yourself some fanatics, because you won’t win without them.” Hence the enduring failure of the Cuck Right…

I heard this from a man in a nationalist party who was going to debate a local politician for the first time, in front of a high school audience I believe it was. It was the first time he would be in a debate and he was nervous, and he prepared thoroughly as the other guy was a Real Politician.

“But when it started I realized, he didn’t have anything! He only had the usual platitudes that they throw at each other. That you either need more welfare or lower taxes for immigrants. When I brought up all the statistics that we talk about he didn’t have anything to say. His hands even shivered and he looked down and got all red in the face.”

If there had been screaming leftist cohorts in the audience, that would surely have strengthened the mainstream politician, or if there had been a moderator who had propped him up as they usually do. But lacking moderator or audience support he had nothing. Anti-Whites can never win an unrigged debate with pro-Whites. And this was a revelation for my friend, who toughened up in future debates and interviews.

He also learned that you can never try to reason with reporters, or with those politicians who know the score and who willingly serve the media owners. (As opposed to the aforementioned politician who was simply a bureaucrat who believed his party.) If you meet those, you have to know it’s not a debate as such. They simply set out to deliver lies and half-truths meant to fool the people. You don’t “debate” them, you steamroll them before they steamroll you. You show clearly that you know they are the enemy.

Tekki. Have you seen the scene in Shogun where Blackthorne meets Lord Toranaga for the first time, and the interpreter is a monk from Portugal, a country at war with Britain? He doesn’t try to placate the monk – he doesn’t try that in the whole series. He points to the monk and says “tekki,” the Japanese word for enemy, so that Toranaga will know their interaction won’t be as advertised.

That is what Trump does with the media. He points to them and loudly says “tekki,” to tell people that the media won’t relay information about him in an honest manner. This is also a big difference between alt-Right and cuckservative Right.

* I think Dissident Rightists need to be a bit less pedantic in their style of speaking (as opposed to writing). These days it’s the soundbite and the emotive word-picture that will convert people – remember, you’re seeking to convert, not to reinforce the beliefs of those who already agree with you. Enoch Powell’s “Tiber foaming with much blood” speech was a great piece of oratory, but today at least, it would work better if the warning were expressed more demotically.

The Feminization Of European Men

* The feminization of the European male has contributed to the invasion in two ways. European women, like all women, desire masculine men. The low supply of masculine native men thus necessitates the importation of masculine ethnic aliens. And of course European men, being overwhelmingly feminized, do not resist this mass cuckoldry given that resistence would require a degree of manliness that is virually absent among native Europeans in the early 21st century.

* DNA testing is needed for all legal immigrants and illegal aliens. Also biometric ID data gathered from immigrants (legal and illegal) and all who enter America on visas. You don’t like it, then tough! Instead the PTB/NSA gathers as much information as possible on US citizens. The Feds are creating huge databases for medical records that get misused and leaked by authorized personnel of which (I will bet) there are some millions. Direct Federal employees and workers for Federal contractors.

Its not just Muslims scamming high trust societies with fake children and fake relatives. Goes on all the time and its a great way for legal immigrants to make thousands of dollars. They are being paid for smuggling people in legally (unless caught) this way! Its not done out of the kindness of their hearts.
Mexicans with those computerized one day border passes that allow them to enter here at any time. They legally cross in with other peoples children. Goes on all the time and they are get paid! Obviously!

* In Russia they used to let the klal pick the young men to be drafted. As long as the Jews met their quota the Tsar was cool. I expect they selected the indifferent yeshiva bochurs, layabouts and troublemakers. It was eugenic for the klal. But America was much more egalitarian: select by age.

What I can’t figure out was how the ultra-orthodox managed to dodge the draft during Korea and Vietnam. Surely they couldn’t dummy up their birth records in the USA.

* Draft Exemption category 4D- Ministers of religion or divinity students. I’m sure every draft age ultra-Orthodox male was a “divinity student”. They do this in Israel too.

* A large part of the insanity and arrogance underlying Merkel’s Boner and other similar schemes throughout the Western world–and one that’s seldom mentioned even by the alt-right–is the implicit assumption that everybody in the world would love to move to Germany (or America, or wherever) if they got the chance. This just isn’t realistic. If human beings were naturally prone to migrate their way out of difficult circumstances, then every poor country, war zone, and harsh clime on the planet would have been denuded of people long ago. This transparently isn’t the case, but the opposite notion is so firmly lodged in the modern mind that it colors all thinking on the subject.

What’s really going on here is that the operating system of the Western world is starting to crash. The lies we have told ourselves for several generations are bearing their fruit, combining in unstable ways and bringing the machinery to a halt. In the mind of the typical elitist, mass immigration is just QE for the meat-space; it is the printing of fiat wage slaves. When this can be done under the self-righteous veneer of SJW cosmopolitanism, so much the better. And if they can also use the self-same process to strategically depopulate Syria (so the thinking goes: If we can’t remove Assad with airstrikes, we’ll just evacuate his country!), then that’s icing on the cake. Yes, the upper classes really do think in this bizarre manner. They are the living exemplars of the managerial state run amok, viewing every human reality as some sort of logistical optimization problem.

Unsurprisingly, the real world refuses to be the endlessly malleable putty that they try to make of it, and the structure of reality avenges itself on the world-improvers through the timeless mechanism of unintended consequences. Unintended (by the world-improvers)–but neither unforeseeable nor unforeseen. Good leadership adapts itself to reality and is in the highest sense identical with reality. Incompetent leadership has a theory of what ought to be and ruins everything with its tyranny and shrill demands.

Merkel is one of those people sees the destiny of hundreds of thousands of human beings and the character of entire nations as hers to do with as she pleases. This staggering hubris will certainly be rebuffed by the gods.

* I think Merkel’s childlessness plays a part in her having opened the doors to all of MENA without any logical plan. The fact that she is on the other side of time now, without her own children, has transformed her thinking that she is doing this great “motherly” thing to all those big-eyed children we constantly see in the media. This last overture of a woman who never got a chance to be a mother, is touching in a nicey-nice way, but OMG, she has no plan!

However, now the chaos has started as winter is coming, and migrants arriving by busses to small towns and cities in Europe can not be left to just starve at the stations/town squares/succumb to pneumonia. Many are squabbling with locals and fights are breaking out.

Maternal instincts are not always the wisest when it does not involve actual children, your kin or your community’s (whatever that is) youth. There will be abundant crime & and violence for years to come since very few Muslims have integrated well or willingly, within their host countries in the last 20-25 years in northern Europe. I hate the idea, rather fact, that parallel communities of migrant cultures will continue to grow which are entirely dependent on the host culture yet rebuff the host country’s culture.

* Homosexuals are also targets of the Muslim rape army tramping its way to Germany and Scandinavia. In the Middle East, sodomy is halal if you are the pitcher. Afghan men rape prepubescent boys pretty much at will. In Sweden, the first rape crisis center for men was recently opened coinciding with the explosion of the male Muslim immigrant population. Coincidence? I think not.

* There’s no doubt about it, the flood will be a never-ending one unless Europe slams its borders shut and deports all illegals. The trouble with many people in white countries is that they project their own characteristics on to other races. They think Africa and the Middle East are places whose ultimate goal is European-style democracy. Until that happens, they believe, they may need a helping hand, someone to take in a few million of their surplus population spewed northwards by war or poverty. They can’t see that poverty, war, plunder and massacres are the norm in these places.

* British women find those men attractive for the same reason that Anna Stubblefield described herself as “in love” with a mentally defective black midget. They’re all brainwashed SJW moon-bats in love with their own self-righteous conceits. Let the Muslims have them.

The Gap In Test Scores Is Bigger In Blue States

– The highest black scores are in Dept. of Defense schools (DODEA), followed by military intensive states like Arizona and Alaska and well-educated liberals states like New Jersey and Massachusetts that also have high white scores.
– The smallest Gap is in West Virginia, which has, by far, the lowest white scores.

* In most cases, a high gap is driven by TWO things: a. above average white people and b. below average blacks. Look at the states at the top of the list and you’ll see both.

In Pennsylvania, most of the gap is probably driven by Philadelphia and its suburbs. In the prosperous suburbs, you have very high quality whites (and increasingly Asians). You have public high schools that have dozens of National Merit Scholars and where virtually 100% of the students are college bound. In the city, there was (the last time I looked) not ONE National Merit finalist in any general high school (there are a few in a couple of special magnet schools).

Philadelphia (like a lot of big Northern cities, especially those that sit just north of the Mason-Dixon line) attracted a lot of Southern blacks in the 20th century, especially during the World Wars, when work was abundant. The Low Country of South Carolina is a common origin. Brains and education were not necessary qualifications, just a strong back. Their descendants attend highly segregated schools (not that desegregation would help) where the teachers are more concerned with maintaining order and their own safety than in actually educating the students, who are really not that interested in being educated.

There’s a big todo now about that white cop who flipped a black girl out of her desk but you don’t see what went on before – the girl talking on her phone during class and refusing to get off the phone even when confronted by the teacher – that’s why the teacher called the cop to begin with. This (and much worse) is an everyday occurrence in schools that are all/mostly black. All high schools in Philadelphia have their own cops (and metal detectors, etc.) because they are needed.

It’s true that blacks who grow up in a non-black environment (e.g. Obama) tend to do a little better and in the low gap states blacks are typically less concentrated in ghettos where dysfunctional ghetto culture puts no (or negative) value on education. In the high gap states, the blacks are found in a handful of big cities (D.C, Phila, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, etc.) Those same cities have above average whites – lots of lawyers and government agencies and doctors, etc. living either in gentrified areas or the suburbs. If those cities and their ring suburbs were to fall into the ocean the rest of the state would have average gaps that you would expect from the normal 1 SD IQ gap.

* The black scores seem remarkably consistent. The best way to eliminate the gap seems to be by driving down white scores.

* The girl was a disruption and did not respond to verbal commands. His choice was to A. use non compliant physical force. B. Clear the room and wait for her to respond.

Once you have made the decision to remove her you have to do that or you will never have order in the classroom again. The fact she went over backwards is because she refused to stand when he guided her upward with his hands. She’s a full sized girl in a chair designed for children with a whole front and side that does not allow movement.

She should have stood up and moved. Most non-compliant physical force looks bad. That’s one reason you’ll see fewer and fewer cops until the tide changes again.

* Black scores are fairly even, the gap between the highest and the lowest is just 20 (not counting DoDEA). The gap between the District of Columbia and West Virginia is 44.

What that really shows is that redneck are really dumb.

* The gap is small in NY because a very large share of NYC Blacks have Caribbean roots. The English-speaking Caribbean itself is a hell-hole but for some reason Caribbean immigrants to the US do relatively well.

Blacks in Dept. of Defence schools are one point below West Virginia Whites – interesting to know.

* White people in red states might as well start agitating for special treatment and programs to close the achievement gap between them and their white cousins in blue states.

But white people aren’t allowed to agitate, and they are forbidden special treatment.

Note how the white averages cover a wide range, from the 270s all the way up well into the 300s, while the black averages are all pretty much the same, in the 250s-260s.

* These data just show that the only thing that really closes the gap is making the tests or schooling easy enough that 80-90% of blacks can pass. Of course that gives you 99% of whites passing, aka a useless measure for discriminating the performance of whites. But who cares, the SJW are pursuing justice! SJW’s define justice as equality of outcome.

* The average black-white score gap above is 31 points and since this is a cognitive (math) test we can reasonably assume the standard deviation is about 31 points*. The following is the equivalent IQ score from the NAEP data:
white 100
black 85
DC whites 112
WV whites 90
DoD blacks 90
Alabama blacks 79

* Classical and then Medieval education was about teaching the student rigorous logical reasoning. They didn’t teach Latin grammar because Latin grammar was useful. They didn’t teach geometry because geometry was useful. They didn’t teach music theory because music theory was useful. The idea was that having a mind which was habituated to the process of abstracting from mundane reality to the realm of ideas, manipulating the ideas logically, and then descending from the changed idea back to the realm of mundane reality was valuable.

Criticizing math for being non-useful in life is like watching someone sharpen a knife and then laughing at them: “What a stupid way to smooth a rock! What good are smooth rocks anyway! There are lots of pre-smoothed rocks down at the river!”

Derbyshire mentions that math was not useful in programming. In a sense, I suppose he is right. He could have learned the critical skills of abstraction and rigorous logic in some discipline other than mathematics. But he wasn’t born with those skills. They were acquired somewhere, and math is one way to get them.

* Smarter people make a bigger gap. They can narrow the gap by banging their heads on desks every day to lose a few IQ points.

* Massachusetts Blacks are definitely above the Black average, but have you ever interacted with Massachusetts Whites? Massachusetts Whites might as well be the brahmin caste of White Americans; we’re so high IQ/educated/well off/in prestigious jobs that we make Jews and Asians look like a bunch of dumb hicks who can’t do basic arithmetic. I went to a private high school where the average IQ was 118; everybody had their IQ tested and your chances of gaining acceptance went up drastically if you scored over 125. The lower IQ kids made up for their lack of IQ with hard work and good behavior. “Smart” meant you ended up at Harvard. “Average” meant you ended up at BU. “Dumb” meant you ended up at Podunk State U.

Will Islam Conquer France?

* Right now France has been somewhat more protected from the migrant invaders because of the difficulty of claiming benefits there. That’s why so many are camping in Calais so they can try to get to the UK. I think many of the migrants will eventually make their way to the UK when they have been given a German passport.

* Remember that anytime a nationalist party starts to pick up steam the EU elite crush it- in Belgium they simply declared the party illegal and ‘racist’ and that was that- in the UK the smashed the BNP by requiring them to accept minority members, etc. we all know what’s happening to Maria Le Pen. But then again, the left & globalist elite didn’t do what they are doing democratically, so why is that a qualification?

* Immigrants taught that rape is wrong. Gee, who knew?

* Patriots are terrorists. Invaders are welcome.

* I can never agree with the: “globalist corporate oligarchy” idea. I think people are too simple, too basic; they “feel” too much, unlike animals about to be butchered, for instance. Most people can not see beyond their own needs, neighborhood, town, city, state, region.

And, if we remember why we like Steve’s site, it is because we believe in the fact that IQ matters…which is diametrically opposed to the idea that people will ever act and behave for the global good of EVERYONE: people are tribal after all, and team players for their kin…like wolves or apes. People, like animals, naturally, distrust “outsiders.”

* Winning elections will be just about the last thing Muslims do after they take over Europe. They simply are not good at politics. The most successful Muslim politician in heavily Muslim UK is Scottish convert George Galloway.

The take over will not involve changing laws to suit their preferences, but undermining the rule of law. By creating “no go zones” and corrupting civil society.

I am not especially worried about France, which has done a fairly good job of stopping third world mass migration. The single largest source of immigrants in 2012 were Portugal at 8%. Africa was about 68,000 total in a country of 64 million. While even that is too much, that’s one bad weekend for Germany. France is also estimated to be only about 3% black. France’s anti-burka law also makes it, along with Switzerland’s anti-minaret law, one of the few places in Europe to have an anti-Islam law.

Where they really erred was letting in a ton of North African Muslims during their big economic boom from the 50′s to early 70′s. But they’ve learned from this.

The Republican Debate

* I’ve come to the conclusion that if you care at all about any aspect of immigration, there is no other option besides Trump. If one shaky debate answer changes that for you, he never had your vote to begin with.

* Trump’s problem is that he seems not to understand much about the H1b visa. I think his position paper was probably written by Jeff Sessions, who he consulted with before issuing the paper. Trump himself seemed to have no understanding of how the program works, other than to say he believes people should come here “legally” and people who attend top universities (Yale, etc.) should be allowed to stay.

* Christie was very good and entertaining.
Fiorina fell flat. She’s done.
Rubio was good and was very good in attacks against him (moderators and Jeb).
Carson is lackluster. Not very Presidential.
Jeb threw a half-dozen interceptions. Looks worse then going in.
Trump didn’t get much time. Was solid.
Cruz performed well but his used car salesman-ish style if off-putting.
Rand Paul didn’t get much time but was the most solid in policy.
Huckabee was very good and likable.
Kasich was made to look silly early on by Trump. He looks frazzled and frustrated. He’s done.

Winner: Christie
Loser: Bush
My candidate: Trump

* The meta points about Trump that are worth remembering are these:

1) He’s a nationalist.

2) He’s a pragmatist.

3) He’s smart.

So, if you put those points together, there’s a good chance that, in office – maybe with a little more tutoring from Sessions, particularly about the difference between 0-1s and H1-Bs – Trump would see the light on H1-Bs.

* Trump and Rand Paul are the only two candidates running for President that have not pledged to confront Russia, declare a no-fly zone in Syria, and support jihadists. Trump is the only one to say he’d work with Putin and Russia for our own mutual benefit. The other Republicans want corporate oligarchy and actively work for policies which make our country less white and stop Russia from attack jihadis and terrorists who are slaughtering Christians.

* It looked like Trump was trying to appear more in control of himself and presidential. He also looked like he has lost weight – getting shape for the job?

Huckabee? America will never have a Pres. named Huckabee. Never. Its ridiculous.

* I think it’s important to distinguish the large majority of H1b recipients (65,000 per year) from the foreign-student H1bs (20,000 per year). Trump seems to disfavor the former and favor the latter. He hasn’t even said he wants all the foreign students to say – in his statements, he’s mentioned that he wants immigrants from the top universities (Ivy league, etc.) to stay.

I’m not surprised, as Trump (Wharton graduate) has always praised graduates of elite schools. He’s someone who thinks highly of anyone with an Ivy degree.

The real question is what he thinks about the non-elite foreign graduates and non-graduate foreign workers. The overwhelming majority of H1bs are in these categories. It seems like he’s against these days, but it’s tough to parse his statements. My sense is that Trump is not fully informed on the H1b issue.

The good news is that, as Steve Sailer frequently says, “personnel is policy.” If Trump is asking men like Jeff Sessions to help write his specific immigration policies, that’s a good sign. Most candidates don’t even write the specifics of their policies (immigration, taxes, trade), instead delegating that work to their suboordinates. Most likely, whoever workers for Trump will decide the H1b policy. If that’s Sessions or someone picked by Sessions, then we may yet win.

I’m not giving up on Trump just yet.

* The New York Times was surprised to discover that it’s story about Disney employees being forced to train their H-1B replacements was a huge hit with its readers.

* For years Steve has been saying blacks see their politicians as entertainers more than leaders. When you know they all lie to you anyway, why not pick the entertaining liars? Enough whites now expect all Republican politicians to lie about race and immigration and anything important that we might as well vote Trump.

* Trump has been publicly anti-immigration since 1999. He’s for real. He bungled one detail and now we’re going to get a weeks worth of concern trolling about it which is just irritating.

* It’s all about career path. Once you fall off your path, it’s tough to get back on unless you have very high-demand skills and credentials. There are a huge number of well-educated people who fall off their career path and end up in lower wage work. Sometimes they fall off their path due to company politics (this applies especially to management track professionals), sometimes bad luck.

It’s not good enough to be smart and educated, you need to have the perfect resume and continuous work experience. One reason for this loose labor market is the mass importation of immigrant labor, particularly through H1b. The second reason is the outsourcing to lower-wage nations.

How Can We Make Everybody College-Ready?

* The only explanation I have for the state of elite discussion on education is that most elites have never met unintelligent people in real life, or just never noticed them. Because, if you notice that there are dim bulb adults, and you remember that, at some point, those dim bulbs were high school students, you’ll realize that high school doesn’t turn dim bulbs into bright ones.

Once you realize that, you’re open to asking smarter questions than, “how can we get everyone college-ready?”.

I’ve been to these departments in three different states in the last few years and been appalled each time. At the granular level the US population has been dumbed down to a shocking level.

Because the DMV simply doesn’t target any niche of the population (or filter) you get the whole enchilada … and it’s not pretty.

* The fact that many schools now have a dedicated police presence says a great deal about what has become of this country.

* That didn’t used to be the case, but now that most routine paperwork can be done online the only people who show up in person are people incapable, mostly by reason of limited literacy, of doing that. It will come as no surprise that latins are heavily represented in this cohort. You also have a smattering of seniors who are uncomfortable with computers and high school kids getting their first license.

* White Fresno resident, here. My 16 year old daughter sailed through her perfunctory driving exam, after passing through a fire-hazard-capacity crowd of illegals at the DMV.

On the other hand, the Fresno County Sheriff (and, from what I’ve heard, the obviously-roided City of Fresno Chief of Police) is pretty liberal (in the archaic sense) about issuing licenses to Carry a Concealed Weapon.

* Go easy on Fresno. We’re the quintessential Salerian AFF town. Our suburbs and exurbs are populated by relatively a conservative core American bourgeoisie. Even our inner city is populated by a generally respectable white and Hispanic working class. However, as a result of mass immigration coupled with the degeneration of working class values documented in Murray’s Coming Apart, we have a growing multiethnic underclass fed on the bread of the welfare state and circus of the phony macho hip hop culture.

We’re tough on crime though. Also, lots of military families. And at the risk of parodying myself, I will say that we have three county stations.

A decent core American town.

Racism Never Sleeps

Another way, that’s also not mentioned in this article, for blacks to get more sleep is to turn off the TV.

* My guess is blacks are more obese (documented fact). More obesity equals more sleep apnea, and more sleep apnea means more disturbed sleep.

* I’ve tried just about every type of earplug and I think the silicon ones are by far the best. You can pick off as much as you want from the plug (they’re usually too big) and mould it to your preferred shape. There’s a trick in inserting them to maximum effect. You gently pull your ear wider as you put it in and then let it close around it when it’s in place, to ensure all the air is expelled and none gets trapped behind the plug. Then you bed them in gently ten minutes later when they’re warmer and softer.

* I sometimes wonder if black people actually have less sensitive hearing than whites. Otherwise how to explain not only their tolerance for very loud music (e.g. playing a boombox on max volume *inside a car*!), but also their tendency to walk down the street shouting at each other – not in anger, but just in ‘normal’ conversation.

* Has anybody been following the recent tragic story of the white GE employee hacked to death in Dallas while jogging while white, by a crazed, Black, ex football player with a machete. The national media has been silent on this one. I have been following the story and the murdered man’s wife just committed suicide two weeks after her husband was attacked. Terrible, awful thing this is! That is the kind of stuff/racism that keeps me up at night!

* Isn’t there another theory out there explaining away IQ differences as resulting from the exhausting effects of living in the hood and having a greater multitude of things to worry about? Brooks or Friedman was pimping it–hard to tell the two apart sometimes. So laughable; one of the things whites envy most about blacks is their apparent lack of perturbation, while we are supposed to be “uptight” worriers.

I’m just racist enough to think it’s correlated to cognitive differences; think more deeply, sleep more deeply. They should just go ahead and match sleep patterns against IQ. Or, it’s a warm weather/cold weather adaptation. Maybe on the Savannah, sharing environment with more and bigger predators, it’s a better adaptation to be more easily roused from sleep.

* I’ve heard many times that minorities have low self esteem due to racism, stereotype threat, etc., but surveys show black children actually have the highest self esteem, confidence, and self regard.

* You can always tell when a black-owned television is broken. It’s off. I’m a landlord and I’m just barely joking.

* I don’t suppose anyone thought of bench marking there data by actually going Africa and checking the sleep levels of native Africans.

* I’d think Arabs would have the most trouble sleeping. They seem pissed off 24/7.

* A government subsidy for science or the arts is a form of censorship.

* Who hasn’t noticed from watching Tarantino’s movies his profound sympathy for the victims of violence and his disgust at the perpetrators of violence?

* Well, seems to me everyone is overlooking the fact that the best time of day for stealing hubcaps, hiding from cops, pimpin’ hos, and getting yo baby mama pregnant, etc. is the middle of the night.

* This gives me my new jab tweet response when called racist for noticin’: “You sleepy, bro?”

* Always interesting going out for 10:30 pm or later movie and seeing African American mothers out with children under ten. Many movie theaters by where I used to live had to adapt a rule that no kids under 12 could be admitted to R movie after 8pm.

* Oddly, this putative problem doesn’t seem to be one blacks–who are socially encouraged to bellyache loudly about perceived problems and suffered injustices–have any self-awareness of.

In 2010 and 2014, the GSS asked respondents how often they’ve had trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep in the past year. The percentages among whites (n = 1,802), blacks (n = 354), and Hispanics (n = 127) who answered either “often” or “sometimes”:

White — 57.5%
Black — 48.4%
Hispanic — 55.2%

Curiously, the ordering runs in the opposite direction of what the oppression narrative would suggest. Perhaps it’s the guilt weighing on whites and the clean consciences blacks enjoy that allow the latter to sleep better than the former despite the disadvantages they suffer in terms of poverty, discrimination, and loud music!

The item contains four possible responses–often, sometimes, rarely, never. If we just look at “often”, we get 23.1% for whites, 15.8% for blacks, and 19.1% for Hispanics. If we go the other direction and look at “never” responses, we get 17.0% for whites, 21.9% for blacks, and 21.9% for Hispanics.

No matter how it is sliced, blacks report significantly less trouble sleeping well than whites do.

REPORT: “This is the second time in as many seasons that a Cowboys player has left Valley Ranch after a demotion. In September 2014, cornerback Morris Claiborne skipped a practice.”

What type of thin-skinned people leave practice because they can’t handle being demoted? Hint: It’s not the Patriots way.

REPORT:

At a time the Cowboys are growing increasingly concerned about Joseph Randle, the Dallas running back is facing discipline for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, according to multiple league sources.
Randle met with NFL investigators this summer and within the past week, the NFL determined he violated the league’s personal conduct policy, which now will carry consequences. In a best-case scenario, Randle only will be fined. But more likely he will be suspended, quite possibly for multiple games, for a February incident in Wichita, Kansas, where Randle was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police received a call for domestic violence with a weapon after an incident with Randle and the mother of his son…
It was the second time in four months Randle had been arrested.
Last October, he was arrested at a Frisco, Texas, mall for shoplifting. He was attempting to steal underwear and a tester bottle of cologne. The Cowboys fined Randle an undisclosed amount, and he later apologized. In July, he was given six months’ probation for the incident.

REPORT:

One of the first calls Chicago made after releasing Jeremiah Ratliff was to the Cowboys to alert the club that he may be returning to his home near Valley Ranch.
Sources stressed that Ratliff made no specific threat against the Cowboys or anyone in the organization. Still, given the tumultuous circumstances under which Ratliff left the Cowboys, the Bears wanted to be sure the club was notified as a security precaution.
One week ago Ratliff engaged in what has been characterized as erratic and hostile behavior at the Bears practice facility. After several arguments and confrontations, including one with Chicago general manager Ryan Pace, the nose tackle was released. Lake Forest police were called to the team’s practice facility as a precaution and there’s a report that a heightened state of security was in place on Oct. 22 when the release became official.
Sources said Ratliff has not attempted to come by the Cowboys facility in the past week.
The split between Ratliff and the Cowboys was also acrimonious.

Greg Hardy didn’t talk to the media Wednesday.
But he did talk to Charles Haley…
Haley and Hardy have spoken before. The two have also worked together on the field with Haley sharing some of his techniques. But it’s no coincidence that Haley, who was also known as a volatile player, dropped by for a conversation three days after Hardy stormed the special teams huddle in the loss to the New York Giants.
