Boss calls. "Are you going to make calls tonight?"
Luke: "Yeah."
Boss: "I need to know. Are you going to make the calls?"
Luke: "Yeah."
Boss: "Did you have a stroke? Where’s the enthusiasm in your voice? You have to make the calls so I can get paid and you can get paid."
Luke: "When’s my next check?"
Boss: "I just paid you less than a month ago."
Luke: "Yeah, but I’m putting in an awful lot of hours on your Facebook projects."
Boss: "You need to see a dermatologist. There’s a startling amount of melatonin in your blood."
Luke: "Why you say that?"
Boss: "You’re black. You’re African-American. You have an African-American work ethic. You’re just like the inner city kids my mother worked with in the public school system. Now make the calls."
