At the beginning, the Arab teen protagonist seems to have an IQ of about 90. He gets a shoddy bulletproof vest and has a contest with a friend to see who is the most courageous and will get shot first wearing the vest. That seems like low IQ behavior to me.
The Arab gets pulled in by his Shin Bet handler who seems to have an IQ of about 130. For rational reasons, the Arab is perpetually suspicious of people smarter than him. That’s why stupid people tend to be surly. The kid says he will kill this friend who’s bothering him.
The smart Jew tells him that being a man means studying and working. The Arab doesn’t agree.
Is it coincidence that IQ and Israel appear very closely together when you alphabetize my favorite subjects?
The Israelis in the film all appear to have IQs north of 120 (Israel’s average IQ is 96 with Arabs averaging about 88).
The Arab kid plays the stupid game and gets shot and goes to hospital. He asks his handler for new jeans because the expensive jeans given to him were ruined in the laundry.
Twenty five minutes from the end, the Arab kid screams “I’m not an idiot!” He then proceeds to break stuff.
