Dennis Prager: ‘What painful criticism did you hear early in life that changed you for the good?’

I remember after I twice told my seventh-grade teacher to shut up, she suggested I might be happier getting home-schooled. I then shaped up and stayed in school and was never in danger of getting booted from school, though I kept challenging my teachers in more polite ways.

Aside from that, I’d say my life has been largely marked and reduced by my ability to implement painful criticism.
