How often did the New York Times and other media accuse Barack Obama in news stories of repeating lies and falsehoods? I don’t remember the MSM doing this to any other politician with the regularity it does it to Trump.
An opening montage of news reports contains several references to Mr. Trump’s unpredictability, and the message of “Trump’s Road” is that his combination of improvisation and obsession makes it impossible for traditional methods of reporting to deal with him. We’re now seeing the news media’s delayed reaction to that, as mainstream outlets (including The New York Times) attack the truth of his and his minions’ statements in an unprecedentedly aggressive fashion.
WaPo: “A journalist had misreported that Trump had removed the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office.”
So when Trump gets his facts wrong, he lies, but when journalists do, they “misreport.” Got it.

A few years ago, my work on white supremacy led me to the neo-Nazi tract The New Order, which proclaims: “The single serious enemy facing the white man is the Jew.” I must have read that statement a dozen times. Until then, I hadn’t thought of myself as the enemy.
Women tend to take things personally.
She never considered that different groups have different interests? She thought every group would think of Jews as friends? What about the Palestinians who were displaced by the Jewish state of Israel? Did she ever think that they might consider Jews as enemies? In a Darwinian world, life is a struggle to survive.
Around 1995, in his first lecture on the Book of Exodus as part of his 18-year project to teach the Torah verse by verse, Dennis Prager said: “The Jewish dream is that the world not be based on blood ties. It is the only dream ultimately that will save humanity given the horrors of blood historically. Blood beliefs are the greatest source of cruelty in history because if you are not my blood, you are not valuable. That’s how people have lived.”
“The reason that Hitler so hated the Jews was a belief in blood. The Jews are the world’s polluters of blood purity. If you are into the purity of blood, the Jews are your quintessential enemy because wherever the Jews are, they assimilate in part and stay Jewish in part. They are part of you but not fully part of you because of their blood. If they fully assimilate, they are still dangerous… The assimilated Jew was the ultimate polluter of German purity. If you believe in the purity of the nation, the Jews are the quintessence of opposition to you.”
“The only nation to keep its identity and still be all over was the Jews.”

And yet Jews are genetically distinct from non-Jews. So it seems that while Jews, according to Prager, are the enemies of blood purity, within their own kind, they value blood purity. In other words, they, according to Prager and Ferber, seek the opposite for the goyim than what they seek for themselves. They seek cohesion for me, multi-culturalism for thee.
When I began my research for a book on race, gender, and white supremacy, I could not understand why white supremacists so feared and hated Jews. But after being immersed in newsletters and periodicals for months, I learned that white supremacists imagine Jews as the masterminds behind a great plot to mix races and, thereby, to wipe the white race out of existence.
So she learned that what Prager said — “The Jews are the world’s polluters of blood purity.” She learned that some non-Jews value blood purity as much as Jews do!
The identity of white supremacists, and the white racial purity they espouse, requires the maintenance of secure boundaries. For that reason, the literature I read described interracial sex as “the ultimate abomination.” White supremacists see Jews as threats to racial purity, the villains responsible for desegregation, integration, the civil-rights movement, the women’s movement, and affirmative action — each depicted as eventually leading white women into the beds of black men. Jews are believed to be in control everywhere, staging a multipronged attack against the white race. For WAR, the newsletter of White Aryan Resistance, the Jew “promotes a thousand social ills … [f]or which you’ll have to foot the bills.”
Are there any groups that don’t value secure boundaries? Former Vice-President Joseph Biden seemed to have a similar view of Jews to the white supremacists Ferber read. Jennifer Epstein reported for Politico May 21, 2013:
Vice President Joe Biden spoke at length Tuesday night about the influence of Judaism on the United States, dating back to the country’s founding and to the present day as Jews helped shape views on gay rights.
“The truth is that Jewish heritage, Jewish culture, Jewish values are such an essential part of who we are that it’s fair to say that Jewish heritage is American heritage,” he said. “The Jewish people have contributed greatly to America. No group has had such an outsized influence per capita as all of you standing before you, and all of those who went before me and all of those who went before you.”
“You make up 11 percent of the seats in the United States Congress. You make up one-third of all Nobel laureates,” he said. “So many notions that are embraced by this nation that particularly emanate from over 5,000 years of Jewish history, tradition and culture: independence, individualism, fairness, decency, justice, charity. These are all as you say, as I learned early on as a Catholic being educated by my friends, this tzedakah.”
“The embrace of immigration” is part of that, as is the involvement of Jews in social justice movements.
“You can’t talk about the civil rights movement in this country without talking about Jewish freedom riders and Jack Greenberg,” he said, telling a story about seeing a group of Jewish activists at a segregated movie theater in Delaware. “You can’t talk about the women’s movement without talking about Betty Friedan” or American advances in science and technology without mentioning Einstein and Carl Sagan, or music and Gershwin, Bob Dylan and “so, so, so many other people.”
“I believe what affects the movements in America, what affects our attitudes in America are as much the culture and the arts as anything else,” he said. That’s why he spoke out on gay marriage “apparently a little ahead of time.”
“It wasn’t anything we legislatively did. It was ‘Will and Grace,’ it was the social media. Literally. That’s what changed peoples’ attitudes. That’s why I was so certain that the vast majority of people would embrace and rapidly embrace” gay marriage,” Biden said.
“Think behind of all that, I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry. The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good,” he said.
Jews have also been key to the evolution of American jurisprudence, he continued, namedropping Brandeis, Fortas, Frankfurter, Cardozo, Ginsberg, Breyer, Kagan. “You literally can’t. You can’t talk about the recognition of … rights in the Constitution without looking at these incredible jurists that we’ve had.”
“Jewish heritage has shaped who we are – all of us, us, me – as much or more than any other factor in the last 223 years. And that’s a fact,” he said.
“We talk about it in terms of the incredible accomplishments and contributions” of Jews in America,” Biden added, “but it’s deeper “because the values, the values are so deep and so engrained in American culture, in our Constitution.”
“So I think you, as usual, underestimate the impact of Jewish heritage. I really mean that. I think you vastly underestimate the impact you’ve had on the development of this nation. We owe you, we owe generations who came before you,” he said.
Ferber writes:
Reading white-supremacist literature is a profoundly disturbing experience, and even more difficult if you are one of those targeted for elimination. Yet, as a Jewish woman, I found my research to be unsettling in unexpected ways. I had not imagined that it would involve so much self-reflection. I knew white supremacists were vehemently anti-Semitic, but I was ambivalent about my Jewish identity and did not see it as essential to who I was…
I am reminded that my ancestors were expelled from the dominant race, persecuted, and even killed.
Could you not make at least as strong a case that Jews have always seen themselves as a people who shall dwell alone? Were they expelled or did they choose to isolate themselves and their gene pool?
Speaking out against the high rates of intermarriage among Jews and non-Jews, [Orthodox Jewish leaders] issue dire warnings. Like white supremacists, they fear assaults on the integrity of the community and fight to secure its racial boundaries, defining Jewishness as biological and restricting it only to those with Jewish mothers. For both white supremacists and such Orthodox Jews, intermarriage is tantamount genocide.

Donald J. Trump campaigned as a populist rather than as a conservative, and won in the face of hostility from the conservative movement and Republican leadership. For all his faults, Mr. Trump recognized that the Republican path to the presidency was incompatible with many conservative shibboleths.
As the new leader of his party, Mr. Trump has the opportunity to change its ideological orientation. He should seize it.
If Mr. Trump makes peace with mainstream conservatives and defers to the likes of the House speaker, Paul D. Ryan, by backing upper-class tax cuts, economic deregulation and reduced entitlement spending, he will be a failed president, and the energized voters who sent him to the White House will feel justifiably betrayed.
During the campaign, Mr. Trump threw out the traditional conservative playbook. He appealed directly to the demographic that, in the mid-1970s, the sociologist Donald Warren called “Middle American Radicals.” These voters are not persuaded by tropes about limited government, but they have little interest in the Democratic Party’s cosmopolitan egalitarianism. They identify with neither Wall Street nor Occupy Wall Street. They are frightened by the prospect of privatized Social Security, but roll their eyes at the far left. They are not against government; they want a government that works for their specific interests.
Yet the Republican Congress appears ready to disregard the voting bloc that has handed it power. Instead of secure Medicare and building projects, Mr. Trump’s supporters may end up with fewer banking regulations — which they never cared about. If Republicans push for a traditional conservative agenda, and Mr. Trump acquiesces, many of the Middle American Radicals will not turn out for them in 2018 or 2020.
This group has made political waves before, filling the ranks of Richard Nixon’s “silent majority” and serving as Ross Perot’s base in 1992 and Pat Buchanan’s during his failed presidential campaigns in ’92 and ’96. Since that time, and especially since 2008, both parties ignored the Middle American Radicals, and it showed in their declining turnout rates.
Mr. Trump brought them back into the Republican coalition without suffering significant losses among ideological conservatives. He did not even underperform compared to recent Republican nominees among minority voters.
The conservative movement — the constellation of institutions, journalists, intellectuals and politicians who stand for limited government, traditional family values and a strong national defense — has dominated the Republican Party for a generation. But as Mr. Trump’s rise suggests, mainstream conservatism is a failed movement that has little to offer 21st-century America.
Steven Sugarman, the chief executive of fast-growing Irvine lender Banc of California, resigned on Monday, the same day the bank announced it is under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The bank offered no explanation for Sugarman’s resignation but the move, and the SEC investigation, appear to be continued fallout from questions about insider relationships at the bank and connections between bank insiders and a convicted fraudster.
In an early morning announcement, the bank said that Sugarman, a board member since 2010 and chief executive since 2012, had resigned as chairman and CEO. In a separate announcement, the bank acknowledged it has received a formal investigative order and a subpoena from the SEC.
The bank said the subpoena demands information related to an October press release in which Banc of California laid out its response to a blogger’s allegations that the bank was connected to and possibly controlled by Jason Galanis, an L.A. financier who pleaded guilty to securities fraud charges over the summer.

“The ‘alt-right’ or ‘alternative right’ is a name currently embraced by many white nationalists, neo-Nazis and so called ‘race-realists’ along with a number of other groups in a coalition of the far right. Their ideology emphasizes preserving and protecting the white race in the United States in addition to, or over, other traditional conservative positions such as limited government, low taxes and strict law-and-order,” according to the Associated Press definition.
While nationalists promise anti-immigration policies and protectionist economic measures as a boon to their country’s citizens, relying to various degrees on racial and ethnic undertones to make their case, the alt-right dispenses with citizenship altogether and appeals directly to racial identity.
The alt-right’s love of Europeanism blends racial politics with a quasi-religious faith in a pan-European identity. You can hear this clearly when one of the movement’s leading voices, the white nationalist Richard Spencer, praises Trump as the first politician “who’s fighting for European identity politics in North America.”

As we all know by now, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump got special rabbinic dispensation to ride in a car on Shabbat for daddy Donald’s inauguration. This led to a collective Jewish (and general!) eye-roll, but also to demands that we respect the young couple’s religiosity and let them be. Jessica Levine Kupferberg and Andrew Silow-Carroll both made versions of the case that the self-appointed guardians of Shabbat observance should mind their own beeswax Shabbat candles, as it were.
The ‘don’t frum-shame Jared and Ivanka’ take is… well, it’s like ‘don’t kink-shame Donald Trump’ (re: pee-gate) or the ongoing take that it’s mean-spirited and unfair to looks-shame the now-president. Yes, under normal circumstances, you should be respectful of private bedroom activities, and, heck, of the choice to sport orange foundation and an elaborate combover. But just as religious restrictions (such as those about driving on Shabbat) can be broken under special circumstances, so too can etiquette rules along these lines.
Why? Because it’s clear that the Trump looks-shame isn’t about, say, making everyone with small hands feel bad about this, but to get at what would annoy him. So, too, in a way, with the frum-shaming of Jared and Ivanka. It’s not that I’d expect them to be touchy about it, like Donald about his hands. Rather, it’s that the Trumps have invested a lot politically in the image of the couple as a good Jewish family. This fact is used to rebuff the rather heavily substantiated claim that Trump’s rise brought with it a new, right-wing American anti-Semitism. It’s also used, more generically, to suggest that the Trump brand stands for good family values, and not, say, trading a string of wives in for younger models.
So consider this your dispensation: You are totally allowed to frum-shame Jared and Ivanka. You get to do so even if you yourself aren’t pious (am I? is TMZ?), and you can rest easy that you are not, in frum-shaming that particular couple, in some way invading the religious privacy of all observant Jews, or of all converts to Judaism.
So Phoebe wants to go after America’s princess on her observance of Jewish law and anything else she can find.

A measles outbreak in Los Angeles County, California, is centered on the Orthodox Jewish community, according to reports.
Some 20 people have been infected in the outbreak, with 18 in LA County, 15 of whom, according to the LA County Department of Public Health “either knew one another or had a clear social connection, ” the Los Angeles Times reported over the weekend.
None of the 18 people could show proof of vaccination, according to the health department’s interim health officer Dr. Jeffrey Gunzenhauser. Most of those infected were in their 20s but the infected also included young children and older adults, according to the newspaper.
The outbreak comes six months after California passed a strict vaccine law, making vaccines mandatory beginning in first grade.

* A look at her LinkedIn page shows she has high-level skills in mathematics, computer programming, and robotics. She is also a marathon runner and has an incredible singing voice, based on readily YouTube videos.
And yet she was only able to get 40 people to turn out for her anti-rape protest at Berkeley.
* 1. I’ve noticed that among SJW/feminist women, there are disprortionately high percentage of Indian/Paki women. They’re something like 1.5% of the national population and mostly new immigrants, but they are very noticeable in activism. It’s interesting. For example, Hillary seemed pretty close to a few South Asian women (Huma Abedin, Neera Tanden), but she didn’t seem to hang out much with Asians.
2. Asians actually seem underrepresented among SJWs. I see some, but their representation is far smaller than their proportion of the population. Asians outnumber Indian/Pakis by a 2.5 to 1 ratio nationally, but are strongly outnumbered in the SJW world. Asian men are actually even more underrepresented as SJWs than Asian women. For whatever reason, Asians (especially Asian males) aren’t drawn to activism much.
3. Asian and Indian/Paki women have different personality types. Asian women (on the surface) are usually demure and try to be socially pleasing. Indian/Paki women are huge ball busters with attitude. Worse than white feminists and maybe even worse than Jewish women. That may influence their politics.
4. Both Asian and Indian/Paki women are really into white men. I’m not surprised that this girl’s boyfriend is white. Both races seem to regard their men as being undesirable and can be fairly accesible if you’re a white guy. Indian/Paki women seem to have an especially strong revulsion towards their men. Interestingly, Indian/Paki women seem to often marry their own men in the end. They’re accessible for dating, but have a strong preference for in-group marriages. They may rail against the white patriarchy, but they like dating it too.
If you live in the west, dating an Indian girl is one of the worst decisions you can make. Indians combine the worst of their native culture and the worst of American culture in one disgusting, rancid stew. Here’s why you should never date—or even pump and dump—an Indian girl.
1. They’re unattractive
Forget about Aishwaryi Rai and every other smoking hot Bollywood actress you’ve ever seen: the average Indian girl has a Coke can physique and bad genes. While not as disgustingly obese as the average American, even fit Desi girls are packing more poundage than any girl should be legally allowed to have. Even if she’s in shape, expect her to balloon up like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man the minute she gets a ring on it. Have you ever seen a skinny Indian woman over the age of 35? Thought not.
Not only that, even decent-looking Indian girls have unappealing bodies. Desis may have big butts, but their asses and breasts are always squishy and soft, like a bowl of Jell-O. Additionally, every single Indian girl I’ve ever known had too much body hair. Combine that with their obesity-prone genetics and you might as well be sleeping with a fat guy.
2. They’re prudes
When I say Indian girls are prudish, I don’t mean they’re hard to get in the sack: God no. I mean they have all sorts of bizarre sexual hangups that make banging them about as fun as thrusting your dick into a vacuum cleaner. Indian girls have sexually conservative attitudes thanks to their parents, and navigating their sea of rationalizations is a prerequisite for getting your rocks off.
The first Indian girl I ever banged, in college, was an “everything-but” virgin, in that she did everything but normal, vaginal intercourse: blowjobs, anal, the whole nine yards. She actually believed that this excused all the slutting around she did. Another Desi I met not long after refused to go down on me, saying it was “gross”… even as she bragged about how much she loved it when guys went down on her. These selfish attitudes are reinforced by the spoiled, daddy’s little girl mentalities that Indian girls have.
3. They’re self-loathing
Membdiscussions by whining about how they can’t get white girls because of their brown skin. Indian girls possess the same exact inferiority complex. Every Indian girl I’ve ever known secretly loathed her ethnic heritage, wanted to be white, and fetishized white men to a degree that was downright creepy.
What separates Indian girls from other Asian girls, who wear their lust for white men on their sleeves, is their obsession with their native culture. Indian girls raised in the U.S. will never shut up about the glories of India, a nation where poor people shit on the streets and the government has to force people to use toilets. Meanwhile, these same loud-and-proud Indian girls date white men and complain about Indian men being “misogynistic” and “controllingers of the Roosh V Forum are well aware of Indian Race Trolls, self-loathing Indian men who hijack .”
4. They’re feminists
For some reason, Indian girls in the U.S. are unusually susceptible to feminist and social justice warrior brain rot. Despite their wealthy, cushy upbringings, Indian girls almost always become ardent feminists, swallowing the cultural Marxist program whole. SJWs like Beejoli Shah, who invent stories about being raped, are representative of the average Indian girl and the noxious ideological soup she bathes in.
Indian girls justify their misandry by claiming that Indian culture is “sexist” and “patriarchal,” but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian families are matriarchal, with mothers dominating their husbands and children. In particular, Indian mothers control their sons with guilt trips and shame, which is why so many of them become sackless weaklings and Indian Race Trolls. Indian girls growing up in America are some of the most privileged people on Earth.
5. They’re mentally ill
This shouldn’t surprise anyone, but Indian girls are almost always off their rockers. When you combine SJW ideology, racial self-loathing, and bizarre attitudes towards sex, you end up with a psycho. Dating an Indian girl will be a constant roller coaster of fights, drama and frustration, with your only reward being getting to nail a hirsute chick with a pudding pop ass.
The absolute worst types of Indian girls are the ones adopted by white couples, fairly common in upper-middle class America. The most insane girl I ever banged was an Indian with white parents: she was a borderline who tried to provoke me into hitting her because she felt I was “neglecting” her. While she didn’t mindfuck me in the way that BPD girls usually do to their men, the abusive relationship screwed me up for months after it ended.
The only justifiable reason to pursue a Desi girl is because you want to get your Indian flag. But hanging around them longer than it takes to bust on their faces will end in tragedy for you. When it comes to girls, any ethnicity or race is a better bet than Indians.
* I have noticed a similar phenomenon on the right with the meteoric rise of young (barely out of college), attractive women writing books and offering ‘conservative’ commentary on news shows. (i.e., Katie Pavlich, Tomi Lahren and Lauren Southern).
They offer nothing unique to the debate other than great legs.
* Both Asians and Indians place a huge emphasis on money-making and status-striving. This is likely a product of thousands of years of extreme malthusian selection. Both races are masters of the malthusian death match.
Their embrace of SJWism is motivated mostly by economic factors. They see there’s a lot of money and power being awarded to the SWJ leadership class – and they want in. Simple as that.
However, by personality, Asians tend to be socially introverted, verbally not that articulate, usually agreeable, and non-opinionated. They’re not the type to protest, annoy the public, or insult people. So they don’t make good SJWs.
Indians seem very verbally fluent and adept at mastering vocabulary. They also are much more outgoing than Asians and enjoy opining a lot more. So they’re more suited for SJWism. Another advantage (as I mentioned above) is that Indian women have difficult, ballbusting personalities. Asians are too agreeable.
They’re a fair number of Indian-Americans on the right too (Governor Jindal, Ramesh Ponnuru of NR, Dinesh D’Souza, Governor Nikki Haley).
Indians/Pakis are verbally strong, a bit obnoxious, and highly adept at self-promotion and grifting. That makes them a good fit for careers as SJWs and politicians.
Lots of Indians seem very talented at gaudy self-promotion too.
For example, here’s this Indian kid who goes by the name of “Shawn Valentino.” He claims to be a pickup artist. He’s been very successful at promoting himself on tv and even selling a pickup advice book. I’ve seen him on tv (dating shows, Tyra Banks, Dr. Phil, etc) quite a few times.
Do you know what’s especially impressive? Despite having no discernible ability to charm women, he still manages to get himself airtime. It takes a certain shrewdness to do that.
* She’s hot in one photo but in the others she’s putting out a vague Jackie Coakley vibe which is a tad unnerving. Maybe she’s Jackie with a bit more talent and savvy. Though Jackie did fool a few hundred million people.
Now what about the skin tone fluctuations? Cream lightener, seasonal exposure, or photoshop? Only her hairdresser knows for sure.
* I work in Corporate America. “Diversity” is a scam designed to shelter upper class white men from financial and sexual competition. An upper class / upper management white dude introduces “diversity” to his organization in order to demonstrate his commitment to SJW-ism. The non-white male patrons reward said dude by never, ever criticizing a single thing he does, and by ratting out the individual contributors or first-level managers who say anything. Non-white male patrons will never seriously challenge an upper class white guy, who gives them prizes and gifts, for power in an organization.
Meanwhile, the introduction of protected persons introduces enormous tension in the organization at the individual contributor position. Moderately unacttractive or unattractive beta white males are required to pick up the pace left by non-whites employees, and to do so with a smile. The situation works to the advantage of upper management, by keeping employees distracted and conflicted with one another rather than competing for management positions. Also, the whites required to pick up the pace increasingly have SJW women and sub-cons for management, who will never care about workloads.
* I worked in a job that dealt with federal government hiring and federal contractors and non-profits close to The Swamp. You can not imagine the glut of young upper-middle/upper-class, self-assured liberal females with straight-A poli-sci and area studies degrees from Georgetown U. School of Foreign Service, GWU, Tufts Fletcher School, Johns Hopkins School of Adv. In’tl Studies, et al., with extensive foreign travel, study abroad, internships, etc., who all are expecting to get into the federal government or some contractor working in geopolitical busybody work to save the world. My work has also covered IC work and so I can tell you first hand that this type has throughly infected State Dept. and CIA and is the reason Trump really has to shut down CIA and move those intelligence operations to DoD.
* Consider also that the subcontinentals we get are selected from the Brahmin type castes–priest-king-scholar-scribes. I suspect that selects for/emphasizes verbal fluency. Indians as the new Jews–if there’s an intellectual movement, it’s going to need articulate spokesmen, and you’ll find Nikki Haleys and Kamala Harrises well out of proportion to their demographic numbers.
* Coming from a family full of Ole Miss sorority sisters, that one made me laugh. They spend a lot of time mastering that perfect BF hug angle.
A friend sent me a video of one of these SJW models speaking at an enviro group conference. She was perfect: cascading blond hair, tan, riot-girl outfit that didn’t have a speck of dirt, one shoulder tattoo. She went into one of those intersectionality/kitchen sink/Subterranean Homesick Blues/state of the world poems this class writes, intoning in precise boarding school diction. She made a nod to her “Viking heritage”- now that’s interesting. She gets to jet set around and speak and conferences as her gig, kind of like the half-Nordic teen indigenous activist who looks like he’s all set to be a brother in the struggle for the United Colors of Benneton.

The “Texan boy” with the clock was not. The “Floridian man” who murdered the homosexuals in Orlando was not.
And so on. Calling these people Texan, Floridian, French, etc. should be met with just as much outcry in the media as that crazy white lady (Dolezel?) who pretended to be black was met with. But it never is.
So we pretend Salma Hayek, a relatively fair, attractive, and buxom Lebanese lady is representative of swarthy, ugly, pudgy mestizos in Mexico.
We pretend murderous Somalis, Arabs, etc. are British, American, and French.
On and on it goes. You don’t get to dictate your own identity. Sure, you can take up surfing or learn to play a piano, study chemistry rather than philosophy. But those are behaviours. If I say I am a tall, blonde Dutchman with piercing blue eyes and washboard-abs, I’ll still be a 5’10″ American with brown hair, green eyes, and an unremarkable body. Period. If I described myself as the Dutchman I’d be pitied, ridiculed, reviled, or some combination thereof. At best people would think I had a zany sense of humour.
We must stop humouring the pretenders and play-actors. You wanna be something you aren’t? Fine, call over some friends to play Dungeons & Dragons. You can be an elven knight. When the game is over, though, you have to go back to being you; no one at the office is going to treat you like an elf come Monday morning.
* Note that Haley and Jindal were reared in the deep South (South Carolina and Louisiana, respectively) and Ponnuru in Kansas. Haley and Jindal changed their names to be more American sounding and both converted to Christianity. Ponnnuru was raised a Christian and became a Catholic later in life. D’Souza is a separate case, being an immigrant himself from a Catholic Goan family – he’s atypical both for an Indian and for an immigrant the U.S. from India.
I suppose the question is whether Indian immigrants are most apt to adapt to the culture and politics of where they land in the U.S. owing to their status-consciousness and need to climb socially and economically. In other words, would their politics in the U.S. be less Democratic if they immigrated in larger numbers to the South and Plains rather than the Northeast and far West?
Another interesting wrinkle is that in my experience where there is a mix of Indian and Pakistani immigrants in the U.S., the two groups tend to polarize politically. In my area, Pakistanis are patrons of the Democrats (probably because they apologize for Islam more than Republicans) and so the Indians coalesce around the Republicans. But the relationship seems to be a carryover from their home nations – they seem to understand the relationship as transactional rather than ideological. They donate money and later extract favors. I have no idea whether the Indians actually vote for Republicans above the Mayor/Township Supervisor level and therefore buck the national trends and averages.

Not so much. HIAS is greatly concerned with the security of the Jewish state. As for the security of gentile states, it seems not so much.
COMMENT: Now, it is true that HIAS indeed has a section on its website related to Israel. After clicking on a couple of links, the following information is provided:

Today, now that the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency have assumed full responsibility for immigration and absorption of olim, HIAS is using our expertise to help the country develop a humane admission system for refugees and asylum seekers that adheres to international legal standards and protects the security of the state. According to UNHCR, there are 55,000 refugees in Israel: roughly 36,000 from Eritrea, 15,000 from Sudan, and 4,000 from other African countries.
Assistance to Individual Refugees in Israel
HIAS meets with individuals and families (mostly from Eritrea and Sudan) to help them evaluate options for reuniting with family in other countries, including the United States, Canada, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, and Sweden.
So while refugee resettlement lies at the heart of HIAS’ work in the U.S., it is not a priority for HIAS in Israel. In israel, HIAS is merely willing to meet with the African refugees to help them reunite with their family in western countries, but not to help them resettle in the Zionist state. There are no appeals by rabbis telling the Knesset to keep Israel’s doors open for the refugees, urging them to prioritize refugee resettlement, protection, and human rights. No pre drafted personal letter to send to their Member of the Knesset.
So much for being guided by history and the Jewish value of “welcoming the stranger.”
If you’re looking for a clue that explains this difference, HIAS itself reveals it in the following:

I looked all over, but I couldn’t find a similar qualifier for HIAS’ work in the US.
