Aside from considerations of faith, what it means to be Jewish/black/Muslim/Japanese is the same — to perpetuate the genes of your people and assist them in perpetuating themselves. As the preamble to the U.S. Constitution states: “For ourselves and for our posterity.” That’s the purpose of life.

No people and no country has a right to exist. Every people, every country, have to establish themselves against fierce competition and defend themselves and when opportunity presents itself, go on the attack to strengthen themselves. If your country and people do not become as strong as possible, they are reducing their chances to survive.

From the Jewish Journal:

“I realized how much Judaism for me was connected to yearning — to wanting what you don’t have — which is maybe why Israel is so complicated emotionally for Jews: It’s built into the emotional structure of our religion to yearn for a homeland we don’t have,” Portman wrote in the Times.
“So then, if we have it, what do we yearn for? We say ‘next year in Jerusalem’ as if we are still in exile. But maybe Jerusalem as an idea is never attainable — so we can keep longing for it, even when we have it.”
Portman’s eloquence on Israel is decidedly uncharacteristic of most of Jewish Hollywood. In good times and bad, Israel is a subject Jewish celebrities tend to avoid, lest they be seen as too tribal, or worse, unsympathetic to the Palestinian cause. But Portman is an exception, and, over the years, she has become a kind of a de facto defender of Israel (when I use this label with her, she laughs), especially in the face of public misconception or outright hostility toward Israel or the Jews. When a video surfaced in February 2011 of Dior chief fashion designer John Galliano spouting anti-Semitic comments in a Paris bar, Portman, then the face of a Dior fragrance, was quick to condemn him.
“I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments,” she said in a statement at the time. “In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.”
Galliano was subsequently suspended from Dior. Four years later, when The Hollywood Reporter questioned her about the incident, she said she could forgive him, but not his comments. In the same story, she was equally unforgiving of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom she condemned for “racist comments,” which she said she was “very much against.”

JJ: ‘Stephen Miller, meet your immigrant great-grandfather’

Rob Eshman writes:

Miller’s powerful lines, the ones that really froth the mob, all revolve around immigration. To stoke the emotions, he repeatedly references the brutal murder of Kate Steinle at the hands of an illegal immigrant.
“How many children are dead because of our sanctuary cities?” he asks. “Don’t ever, ever let anyone tell you that you’re not a good person because you want to secure the border!”
And then, playing John the Baptist to Jesus, Miller says, “I have some good news for you, folks, I have some fabulous news.” And he brings on, that’s right, Donald the Savior.
According to a long profile of Miller by Julia Ioffe in Politico, Miller is fast becoming the forward face of the Trump campaign. His former boss, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, said he can’t think of anyone as valuable to a presidential campaign since Karl Rove. When Trump brought Miller on board, Ann Coulter, America’s blondest race-baiter, tweeted, “I’m in heaven!”
But what stopped me short in Ioffe’s report was this biographical tidbit: Stephen Miller grew up in Santa Monica, in a Jewish family.
Cue the record scratch. What? I doubted the Family Miller came over on the Mayflower, and I was positive they weren’t here to greet the boat. Could it be this young anti-immigrant leader is the descendent of immigrants? With the help of attorney and genealogy whiz E. Randol Schoenberg, I had my answer. On his mother’s side, Miller is a Glosser — and you could write a book on the Glossers. In fact, someone did.
For $19.99, I bought the Kindle edition of “Long Live Glosser’s” by Robert Jeschonek, a history of Pennsylvania’s first family of retail.
“Imagine living in a place where armed Cossacks ride through the streets, looking to cripple or kill you,” Chapter 3 begins.
And so it was Wolf Lieb Glotzer and his wife, Bessie, sought to flee “dreary, scary” Antopol, in Belarus. On Jan. 7, 1903, Wolf arrived in New York aboard the German ship S.S. Motke with $8 in his pocket. He was eventually joined by his son, Natan, a tailor, and his brother Moses, who had arrived earlier, having escaped conscription in the czar’s army. On a visit to Uncle Moses, Natan stopped in Johnstown, Pa., and fell in love with the place. He found work as a tailor and soon bought the shop.
You know the rest. Glosser’s expanded. More family, including brother Sam, joined in, and Glosser Bros. eventually grew into a chain of dozens of stores, becoming a beloved part of the community before eventually closing. And so it was: Sam Glosser begat Isadore, whose grandson is, yes, Stephen Miller.
By becoming Trump’s anti-immigrant avatar, Miller demonstrates that in America, truly anything is possible: The great-grandson of a desperate refugee can grow up to shill for the demagogue bent on keeping desperate refugees like his great-grandfather out.
But it’s different now, you say. Miller’s forebears came here legally, and Trump is not about stopping legal immigration.
Well, false. Last week at a rally in Portland, Maine, Trump attacked legal immigration from countries that are “prone to terrorism,” including Somalia, Morocco. Uzbekistan, the Philippines, Pakistan, Yemen, Syria and Afghanistan.
“We’re letting people come in from terrorist nations that shouldn’t be allowed because you can’t vet them,” Trump said, according to The Washington Post. He warned the crowd of “outsiders pouring into our country.”
(How a Trump administration will handle immigration from Israel, where far more terrorist acts are committed than in Morocco, is anyone’s guess.)
And for Miller to say his family came to America “legally” is simply a ruse. There was no illegal immigration at the turn of the century, because all non-Asian immigration was essentially legal until the 1920s.
Then, as now, angry voices fought to keep these immigrants out. They organized the Immigration Restriction League, focused on shutting the ports to swarthy Italians and Jews.
“The floodgates are open,” wrote one anti-immigrant newspaper editor as the Eastern European Jews docked in New York. “The horde of $9.60 steerage slime is being siphoned upon us from Continental mud tanks.”
Such sentiments led to the Immigration Quota Act of 1924 — which effectively shut the door to Jewish immigration on the eve of the Holocaust.
Miller’s stump speech taps into that same, ever-present strain in the American body politic. But when an American Jew turns on immigrants, there is a whiff of head-scratching hypocrisy, if not something more clinical. It is taking the side of people who, in a historical blink of the eye, would have met your own great-grandparents at the docks with stones and spitballs.
It is taking a fixable problem like immigration reform and making it intractable by stoking anti-immigrant fear and hate, by calling for a ban on an entire religion, by demeaning the sons and daughters of immigrants by race — all things Miller and his boss are doing. The goal of that behavior isn’t to fix a broken system, but to score political points off it.

Regarding this line: “Could it be this young anti-immigrant leader is the descendant of immigrants?” Everybody is a descendant of immigrants because nobody sprouted from the earth.

Wondering why immigrants might not want more immigrants is like wondering why a guy who lands the woman of his dreams might not want other guys taking her to bed.

Let’s take the example of a good Jewish liberal op/ed writer who secured the love and commitment of a wonderful woman. Would he want her sharing her bed with other men and women? If not, why not? If she is great, why keep her all to yourself?

So too if you are an immigrant who made it through the arduous legal process of becoming an American citizen (like my parents and I did), then you may not want American citizenship given to people who came here illegally and you may not want it given to people who are a bad fit (for instance, blacks and Muslims and mestizo Mexicans).

I suspect Rob Eshman lives in a nice home. Why doesn’t he give it up to people less fortunate than himself? Why is he choosy about the type of people he invites over? I am fascinated by leftists who have nice homes and are very selective about who they invite over. Why don’t they live in black neighborhoods? Why don’t they live in Mexican neighborhoods? Why don’t they live in Muslim neighborhoods? No. They always prefer to live in expensive white and east-Asian neighborhoods.

Eshman’s powerful lines, the ones that really froth the mob, all revolve around the evils of racism and yet he practices good racial hygiene in his own life, he chose not to live in a majority black or Mexican or Muslim neighborhood, and what’s more, he — gasp! — practiced eugenics by being very choosy in whom he selected to be the mother of his children.

To stoke the emotions of Jews, Eshman repeatedly references the brutal murder of six million of his tribesmen in the Holocaust at the hands of goyim.

I doubted the Family Eshman came over on the Mayflower, and I was positive they weren’t here to greet the boat. Could it be this aging pro-immigrant newspaper leader is the descendent of racist people who would not marry non-Jews? Well, I never.

By becoming Trump’s pro-immigrant enemy, Eshman demonstrates that in America, truly anything is possible: The great-grandson of people who would not marry non-Jews and an ardent supporter of the Jewish state is bent on maligning those who want the same things for their people.

And for Eshman to say his ancestors refused to marry non-Jews for noble reasons is simply a ruse. It’s racism and racism is bad according to people like Rob Eshman. Being racist is being like Hitler and Trump is Hitler.

Regarding immigration from Israel, it is not Jewish Israelis who are committing terrorism.

As for illegal immigration prior to the 1920s, there were places like Ellis Island which screened people before letting them through. America was not a country where just anybody could show up. It was a country for white people of good character.

“Most immigrants, illegal or not, come to America to live secure, prosperous lives.”

Well, how are those second, third and fourth generation Mexican-Americans doing? Pretty lousy. Pro immigration Mexican-American intellectual Gregory Rodriguez writes in the New York Times: “In Los Angeles, which has the largest Mexican population in the country, there is no ethnic-Mexican hospital, cemetery or broad-based charity organization.” There’s no college either.

Why does American need immigrants from countries with an average IQ of 90 or less?

Steve Sailer argues that Hispanic immigration is “recreating the racial hierarchy of Mexico” in California:

While upwardly mobile Mexican-Americans marry blonde Anglos, downwardly mobile white men wed Mexicans. Now, there is no doubt plenty to be said for getting hitched to a Mexican lady. They probably tend to make better mothers, homemakers, and cooks than the leggy blonde careerists who, however, are so much more in demand in Southern California. But sadly, there is a big social cost to Anglo-Hispanic marriages—which raises severe doubts about America’s ability to assimilate Latino immigrants. As pro-immigration/pro-assimilation researcher Gregory Rodriguez admits, “Surprisingly, in most homes headed by an Anglo/Latino couple, Spanish becomes the household language.”

Thus, those L.A. blue-collar whites who don’t flee to Utah will tend to assimilate genetically and culturally into Latino culture.

Jewish Liberal Argues That The Book Of Deuteronomy Pronounces Republican Senate Out Of Order

Did Jewish liberals say the same things when the Democratic-controlled Senate did not want to appoint a Republican nominee to the Supreme Court just before an election? I doubt it.

One of the most popularly quoted Torah phrases about justice is “Tzedek, tzedek tirdof,” meaning: Justice, justice shall you pursue.
This is in Deuteronomy 16:20, in a Torah portion called “Shoftim,” meaning “Judges.” Shoftim actually begins two verses earlier, in Deuteronomy 16:18, with a commandment that gets much less attention but that seems every bit as important for people who care about justice: “You shall appoint for you judges and officers in all your gates…”
The obligation to appoint judges doesn’t appear to be optional. We “shall appoint judges.” There is no exception when a president is in his last year of office, or for protecting gun ownership.

On the Reality of Race & the Abhorrence of Racism Part II: Human Biodiversity & Its Implications

Professor Brian Boutwell writes:

If you observe the residents of Japan and compare them to residents of the rural southern United States, you’ll note some differences. Some differences will be stark, others less so, yet they will not be isolated to religious and cultural practices. The differences that emerge will bleed into psychological and temperamental traits that also vary in noticeable ways across populations.

The reason for the existence of these differences, though, admits of no simple answer. Prevailing wisdom holds that the cultural and psychological differences that exist across human population groups were shaped largely by a confluence of history, sociological forces, and pure chance. This is likely true to some degree, but the prevailing wisdom — from my point of view — is incomplete. In Part I, we argued that human races exist, meaning that humans can be meaningfully classified into coherent groups based on genetic ancestry. If we’re going to take seriously the existence of meaningful racial variation we also have to at least consider that the genetic differences that exist across racial and ethnic groups also contribute to psychological and ultimately cultural differences across those same groups.

To suggest that races might possess slightly different temperamental, cognitive, and other psychological traits, and that some of these differences are partly genetic in origin, is to violate a powerful — perhaps the most powerful — academic taboo. The incendiary nature of the subject seems to flow largely from the fear that discussing biological group differences will foster racial prejudice among the general public. Indeed, people bent on quantifying human worth have erected racial hierarchies, propped them up with pseudo-scientific theories and folk understandings about group differences, and conscripted them into service towards reprehensible ends. History, in places, is a wasteland of tragedy when it comes to the treatment of minority individuals. Yet, the reprehensible treatment of minority groups currently, or in the past, does not constitute empirical evidence that race is a fiction, or that differences in the psychological constitutions across racial groups are purely environmental in origin.

COMMENTS AT STEVE SAILER:

* Race is the beginning of separation of species. This was the spark that kindled the idea of evolution in Darwin when he saw this. The idea is you take one species and divide it into different areas. The first difference that appears is color. If they stay separated long enough they become two species.

* What’s remarkable is that all those racial scientists from a hundred years ago; like Grant, Stoddard or Guenther, were basically right on the money, even without the benefit of modern genetic knowledge. It’s taken decades of incessant propaganda to prevent people from seeing what’s right in front of their eyes.

I focused on color because that seems to be the first marker. Maybe there are others. Color is what got Darwin thinking and I also noticed the same thing. Take a species lets say squirrels and separate it. Put one set into the USA and the other into the USSR. After some time one comes out grey and the other brown. Same with birds in England. There are lots of examples.

I sometimes feel like we’re just rediscovering “lost knowledge”, like Babylonian mathematics or Roman-style arch building or something.

It requires a strenuous effort to imagine the Parthenon or the cathedral of Notre Dame are just the same as one-storey mud huts and that identical worth-values can be assigned to their relative builders.

Actually, the current racial war that the Sandpeople are waging against us has its advantages too. Now we can see that treating them like civilised white Europeans doesn’t work. People are surely starting to piece together that culture is a function of biological inheritance. Every year that this nonsense continues, the more unpleasant the solution will be.

* I’m sure Darwin was not thinking of Germans and Ukranians.

This is very much a live issue. The equalizers have mandated ‘closing the gap’, following an expose of brutal treatment of uncontrollable teenage brutes in the Northern Territory correctional system.

* The race narrative serves the globalist agenda, otherwise it would be a fringe view like creationism. Celebrating diversity means rejecting the idea that there is anything special about your own race or nation. Having given up the identity you were born with, you are ready to purchase your new identity as an iPhone user or a Pepsi drinker.

* Speaking of minorities who should be given special consideration and deserve protection, humans with blond hair number only 1 – 2 % of the world’s population while those having blue eyes constitute only 8% of the world’s population. By any objective standard, both are endangered.

Brown/blackies gloat and love to point out that inasmuch as both the above traits are recessive, then it is likely that they will ultimately disappear from the human gene pool. Of course, this isn’t deemed racist, it is simply realistic. By means of this sleight of hand they deny their implicit agency and so the race war continues apace.

Certain tribes of brown/blackies say this with a tone of vindictive glee, as though they will be perfectly happy to sacrifice the higher standard of living that the blond/blue Industrial/Scientific Revolution has wrought in exchange for a promised, largely-imaginary Age of Peace that will dawn just as soon as they get their mitts on the tiller. With little to offer but promises and, lacking fundamental navigational skills, it is unlikely that this will take place as envisioned.

* The problem of people applying different rules to humans than to the natural world would be easily solved if humanity could get over the delusion that we are somehow separate from the natural world. We are animals, in most ways quantitatively different from the rest of the animal kingdom, but not qualitatively. We are genetically similar, inhabit the same closed system, and have identical needs for survival. Religious people have a set of beliefs that include a divine spark (or whatever the terminology) that sets humans apart. I disagree, obviously, but at least devout Jews and Christians also adhere to other, societally beneficial, ideas that go along with that. Atheist liberals have taken the simplest and most reductive approach to removing God from the culture that is unavoidably ingrained in them — they think if they just take out the icky religious words it’ll all be fine. Sadly, “All men are created equal” doesn’t mean the same thing as “All men are equal.” Evolutionary theory is only valid if we are animals too. “Scientific” liberals really don’t want to admit this, they’re too bogged down in being Christian believers with only the blind faith and no Christianity.

Does Baltimore Suffer From Too Much Law Enforcement?

* I was riding in a truck through Northeast Baltimore, today. And saw dozens of young men openly selling drugs. And saw at least 5 different women selling themselves on the streets for drug money.

So I’m confused about this narrative of Baltimore being some sort of authoritarian society? What I see on a regular basis is cop cars driving right past drug dealers. 911 operators refusing to send police officers to scenes of crimes in progress. Even when 5 or 6 people on a block call to complain about a fight, or drug dealing. And I’ve personally seen young kids ride illegal motor bikes right in front of police. To the point that they popped wheelies about 20 inches from a cops face. And laughed at the cop while they taunted him with the wheelie

Pot is openly smoked in Baltimore. Many streets and local parks reek of pot smoke.

Young teens openly walk through alleys. Looking into each back yard. Looking for things to steal. Or walk up to each car on the street. Blatantly peering into he car or trying the lock.

I wish that Baltimore was as authoritarian as David Grahm claims. But the sad fact is that criminals in Baltimore are pretty much allowed to do whatever they want to. Up to, and including, burning down a CVS while the police are told to stay out of the way.

* Seen from another perspective, the Blacks in Baltimore will soon get the low-key policing they ask for, balanced with the cliche that you had better be careful about what you ask for because you might get it. The Black citizens of Baltimore will soon get the law and order they deserve. Predict that Baltimore will eventually become another African “bantustan” within the contiguous United States.

One might call all of this … BLM, anti-cop, low marriage rates, high out-of-wedlock pregnancy rates, mindless violence, pervasive drug addiction … a Back to Africa movement. Regardless of affirmative action, diversity, safe spaces, and reparations camouflaged as welfare can make Africans into Northern Europeans. The cultural and social (and perhaps genetic) divide between sub-Saharan Africans and especially Northern Europeans is simply too broad to bridge. It is a permanent condition.

The United States tried a 52-year long experiment in racial and cultural integration costing trillions of dollars. The experiment destroyed model school systems, neighborhoods, communities, and whole cities in a social experiment to change the culture of its citizens … by force. It displaced tens of millions of people as internal refugees as citizens lost the fundamental right of association. The program was perhaps modeled on the Reconstruction of the South after the Civil War, although this time it was imposed on the entire population. It failed.

* It’s been pointed out here many times that one of the most important determinants of a nation’s success is the median IQ…same thing with cities. For most of my adult life I lived in DC and spent a lot of time in Baltimore as well since I had many friends who moved there for cheaper housing. In short, the average black resident of either city is just not smart – I grew up in a large city that was 30% black and both of my parents are from large cities with large black populations and the blacks in all three places are just smarter than those in DC/Baltimore, which also means everyone gets along a lot better too.

I recall the Washington Post pointing out in an article on education that poor black kids in NYC are two grade levels ahead of comparable kids in DC – the piece looked for technocratic reasons why this might be the case, but the simple answer is that one city just has a more intelligent group than the other and no amount of educational “reform” is going to close what is essentially a built in gap. Some cities have an unusual amount of human detritus – the only answer is to try and make them someone else’s problem, which is what administrations in DC and Chicago have tried to do over the last 10-15 years, with some success.

* The criminal trials of the Baltimore cops ended in a debacle, making the (black) mayor and (black) prosecutor look silly. The whole White Cops Killing Blacks narrative is losing momentum as a result. What to do?
Have the politicized Justice Dep’t issue some fabricated report , finding that there are Other Bad Things going on, seize control of the Baltimore Police Dep’t , and move on to the next crisis.

* Let’s see – about ten weeks before a hotly contested general election, the highly politicized Obama Justice Department releases a report detailing widespread abuses and racism in the Baltimore police department. No surprises here – just what we should expect. Baltimore (about two-thirds black) has a black mayor, a black states attorney, a black majority city council and a police department that itself is half black. No wonder there’s such extensive racism. Oh, wait – the police commissioner is white. There, that proves it. I feel better now.

* …having to deal with the dregs of Baltimore society on a daily basis would turn just about anyone into a callous, brutal asshole, if you weren’t one in the first place. How could one even survive in that job without being kind of an overbearing dickhead? That’s why the problem is more or less unsolvable.

if you ever seen the documentary “12 O’Clock Boys” (about black, illegal dirt bike riders who take over Baltimore whenever they want), you know law and order doesn’t exist in 65 percent black Baltimore.

“They impose a very immediate and extreme danger, to the community as they do not ordinarily follow traffic rules and regulations,” said Marc Partee, Commander North West District.

“This is not a sport, this is not fun, and it continues to drain my resources and the individuals that actually live in the community are not happy with it all,” Partee said.

According to authorities, a majority of these dirt bikes are stolen and encourage people to report them when spotted.

* Since Baltimore’s power structure is almost completely black, and the cops are ignoring crime, I predict the remaining whites and non-welfare blacks will move out of the city to avoid the rise in crime and the tax base will utterly collapse. At this point, Baltimore will turn into Detroit.

The only thing that might potentially bail the city out is its location on the Northeast population corridor, and the extreme high prices of real estate and cost of living in that region. A future Maryland governor may attempt a coup (ala Michigan’s governor) to undermine the city’s black political structure, ship out the poor blacks by refusing to give them new housing vouchers in the city, and in sum, attempt to gentrify the city. Baltimore’s location and housing prices are such that there’s too much potential money to be made by the elite white power structure to allow it to descend into black chaos. It’s not a bad commute from Washington. It could become one big bedroom community for whites and nice whitetopia. It’s located on the water and is well connected by highways. If you could get rid of all the blacks, Baltimore would be great place to live.

* On the subject of whether having more black police officers would be a solution, I recall an interview with Bob Teague, a black reporter who worked for NBC in New York in the 1980s, in which he said, “Blacks are more inclined to create police work than to perform it.”

* Everyone would love to believe that the black community is just filled with untapped potential, with Good Will Hunting type janitors who are secretly math geniuses. It just ain’t so. You could reform the schools (that’s been tried up the wazoo), reform the black community, reform the black family (all easier said than done in a free society), etc. and gentle giant D’Shavious and his girlfriend Jeantel will still have an 85 IQ and will still be best suited for life in an agrarian society and have no useful role to play in a post-industrial society, so they will be, one way or another, wards of the state for their entire life (or else they would literally starve). No matter what you do, you can’t make a housepet out of a hyena.

Yes, there is a smarter fraction in the black community (by smart I don’t mean Feynman smart, just above 100 IQ and capable of working in a modern society smart) of around 15 or 20% but these have moved out of the ghetto long ago so what is left behind is largely devoid of untapped potential.

* I remember DC trying to boost the number of black police officers a decade or so ago.

It didn’t turn out well.

* It’s time for a strategic retreat from blm cauldrons of criminality. Surrounding gated communities and livable suburbs should support a George Kennan inspired version of containment. Odd that such a dated cold war concept like that should now have internal domestic application.

* In a ghetto community, either the police are out there kicking ass and trying to keep some semblance of public order or else they are eating donuts and letting the feral wolves rule the streets. There is no in-between possible. It’s the same as places like Iraq and Egypt – either there is someone there to keep a lid on things or else people will run wild. There’s no internal superego in these places – if there is not some external force keeping them from taking your rims (or maybe even your life), they will take them in a second with no qualms. The idea that you can have a police force in those places that spends its time giving anti-drug lectures in schools (that seemed to be the main job of my local suburban police force) and stopping old white ladies and young black dudes in equal proportions, like some urban TSA, is laughable.

* And smack dab in the middle of this festering reservation: Johns Hopkins University, America’s premier medical college.

The history of prestigious academic institutions once located in white centers of influence and culture that now require their own police forces is an under-reported one.

* The quote pointing out the stench of pot smoke in Baltimore parks lets me bang another drum, for whatever purpose. Has anyone done research on to what degree marijuana usage permeates ghetto culture? In fact, many, if not all, of the blue on black non-compliance shootings seem to involve young guys cooked out of skull on pot, or worse. Yet it’s never noted at time, and if revealed in autopsy it seems as if by fiat it is not a big thing. Add marijuana usage to low IQ, bad decision making and no moral guidance, and you’ve got a young man who is looking to get tagged by a 9mm. Yet again, all these episodes are laid at the feet of the po-po (as the cops are called in Baltimore) and not depicted as the low-character stupidity they really represent, Kid, don’t want to get popped? Don’t go do crime while high. Don’t do ANYTHING while high. In fact, don’t get high at all. That’s only for ironic whites who can giggle, listen to old Garcia vinyl, then go to the Pancake House when it wears off.

* When you look at the agenda of the Black Lives Matter movement, it appears to be that of a lynch mob. If a white cop shoots a black, whatever the circumstances, even if the cop is completely exonerated, they want to lynch him. So to me, “BLM” stands for Black Lynch Mob.

* There may be kids who have potential in the ghetto, but is it really worth the time, effort, and resources spent to identify those “kids with potential” and then do everything we can to make sure they achieve that potential by showering them with affirmative action and letting all the other detritus run wild? We’re at the point we’re an old lady isn’t allowed to clutch her purse and cross the street when she sees “this youth with potential” because of the terrible psychological impact of this heinous microaggression on the poor “youth with potential.”

I say screw it. We all have obstacles to success in our lives. The obstacles to these “youth with potential” are primarily other blacks and the fact that they look like them. They can transcend those obstacles or they can not, but they aren’t being held back by any kind of institutional racism or anything silly like that. Best of luck to them, but I’m not interested in turning everything on its head to pick the grain from the feces. That’s an incredibly stupid thing to do. We should be maximizing the potential of our very best, not sifting through feces.

* “But who cares about the Black Lives Matter movement inspiring a 63% increase in murder victims? The problem with Baltimore, according to the Justice Department, is too much law and order.”

To make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs. Gotta agitate for those Hillary votes- otherwise we might get stuck with Trump and really have a tragedy if we couldn’t bring in more Democrat voters and pool boys for our Overlords.

* I seem to remember Atlantic magazine making a cameo in The Wire. Brother Mouzun – a legendary Nation of Islam hitman-for-hire from NYC – had a couple of lines about finding a copy of the Atlantic before he set to work icing and/or maiming a few baltimore drug dealers.

IIRC his gofer had to go a long way to find a copy of the Atlantic since they were in the hoods of baltimore.

So maybe the Atlantic is just playing to their drug-dealing, islamic, underworld killer-for-hire base with this article?

* There is something impressive about the big media’s ability to pick a patently false story (e.g., police racism in Baltimore, Haven Monahan) and then as the absurdity of it becomes more and more apparent, double-down and triple-down and dodecuple-down on the phony story.

As an aside, this Conor Friedersdorf is a bit of an interesting case. He’s occasionally presented as something of a house conservative by the organs who publish him, yet he’s never written anything conservative that I’ve ever noticed. His initiation into big journalism was as “underblogger” to notorious juicer sodomist Andrew Sullivan, which sounds dangerous as well as uncomfortable.
