7. April 16, a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Iraq was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison for raping a 17-year-old girl at festival in the Bavarian town of Straubing in August 2014. Germany, Migrants’ Rape Epidemic 18-09-2015

◾A 13-year-old Muslim girl was raped by another asylum seeker at a refugee facility in Detmold, a city in west-central Germany. The girl and her mother reportedly fled their homeland to escape a culture of sexual violence.
◾Approximately 80% of the refugees/migrants at the shelter in Munich are male… the price for sex with female asylum seekers is ten euros. — Bavarian Broadcasting (Bayerischer Rundfunk).
◾Police in the Bavarian town of Mering, where a 16-year-old-girl was raped on September 11, have issued a warning to parents not to allow their children to go outside unaccompanied. In the Bavarian town of Pocking, administrators of the Wilhelm-Diess-Gymnasium have warned parents not to let their daughter’s wear revealing clothing in order to avoid “misunderstandings.”

◾Meanwhile, the raping of German women by asylum seekers is becoming commonplace.
At the same time, growing numbers of German women in towns and cities across the country are being raped by asylum seekers from Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Many of the crimes are being downplayed by German authorities and the national media, apparently to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiments.
*August 18, a coalition of four social work organizations and women’s rights groups sent a two-page letter to the leaders of the political parties in the regional parliament in Hesse, a state in west-central Germany, warning them of the worsening situation for women and children in the refugee shelters. Women report that they, as well as children, have been raped or subjected to sexual assault. As a result, many women sleep in their street clothes. Women regularly report that they do not use the toilet at night because of the danger of rape and robbery on the way to the sanitary facilities. Even during daylight, passing through the camp is a frightful situation for many women.

The problem of rapes and sexual assaults :
In Bavaria, women and girls housed at a refugee shelter in Bayernkaserne, a former military base in Munich, are subject to rape and forced prostitution on a daily basis, according to women’s rights groups. Although the facility has separate dorm rooms for women, the doors cannot be locked and men control access to the sanitary facilities.
Approximately 80% of the refugees/migrants at the shelter are male, according to Bavarian Broadcasting (Bayerischer Rundfunk), which reports that the price for sex with female asylum seekers is ten euros. A social worker described the facility this way: “We are the biggest brothel in Munich.”
*August 28, a 22-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison for attempting to rape a 30-year-old Iraqi-Kurdish woman at a refugee shelter in the Bavarian town of Höchstädt..”
*August 26, a 34-year-old asylum seeker attempted to rape a 34-year-old woman in the laundry room of a refugee facility in Stralsund, a city near the Baltic Sea.
*August 6, police revealed that a 13-year-old Muslim girl was raped by another asylum seeker at a refugee facility in Detmold, a city in west-central Germany. The girl and her mother reportedly fled their homeland to escape a culture of sexual violence; as it turns out, the man who raped the girl is from their country. Although the rape took place in June, police chief Bernd Flake countered that the silence was aimed at protecting the victim. “We will continue with this policy of not informing the public whenever crimes are committed in refugee facilities,” he said.
*June 12-14, a 15-year-old girl housed at a refugee shelter in Habenhausen, a district in the northern city of Bremen, was repeatedly raped by two other asylum seekers.
*September 11, a 16-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified “dark-skinned man speaking broken German” close to a refugee shelter in the Bavarian town of Mering. The attack occurred while the girl was walking home from the train station.

Is Trump The Republican Bill Clinton?

* It’s because liberals fundamentally misunderstand what Trump is all about. They think he’s some sort of far-right extremist. In the modern liberal mind, signaling that you’re friendly to minorities is *the, single, issue* that matters, and everything else is boring policy stuff that no one reads or pays attention to. So someone like Rubio who wants to start several wars and cut off Medicare benefits gets moderate cred, because he says nice things about immigrants.

The truth is that Trump is doing so well because he’s dragging the Republican party kicking and screaming back to the center, jettisoning their insane ideas about foreign policy, dropping the unpopular entitlement program cuts, and focusing like a laser on the issues where Republican ideas are actually popular, like immigration control.

Trump is essentially the Republican party’s Bill Clinton.

* Or he’s a Reagan for the 2010s.

* That sounds to me like Trump is essentially the Republican Party’s new Eisenhower, not the Republican Party’s Bill Clinton. One thing that clearly distinguishes Trump from Bill Clinton is the beauty of his three wives. No comparison at all to that dumpy women in the pantsuits. Also Trump has invoked the 50′s as America’s great age. That sounds like he wants to take us back to Eisenhower. I believe Scott McConnell over at TAC makes the same argument about Trump invoking Eisenhower.

* Trump might follow up by promising, like Clinton, 300,000 additional police, the aim being to bring law-and-order back to inner city neighborhoods. This, according to Heather MacDonald, is the single issue local residents care about most.

More and better policing together with his promise to bring millions of low-skilled blue-collar factory jobs back from places like China and Mexico should help Trump attract a lot of African-American votes. Plus, they like his style!

* Democrats weren’t insane pre-Clinton.

They actually used to have very pro-worker stances on issues like trade, immigration, financial regulation, and unions . As recently as the early 90s, Democrats were fairly responsive to the concerns of working class whites. It was under Clinton that NAFTA was passed in 1994, the H1b visa cap was expanded in 1998 (with further liberalization of regulations in 2000), and we had the repeal of Glass-Steagal in 1999. Under Clinton, the Democrats went from being a workingman’s party to a financier-corporatist-diversitycrat alliance. For that, the media can’t stop giving him credit.

Republicans, on the other hand, have been borderline insane from W. Bush onward. On immigration, on financialization, on economic inequality, and on foreign policy.

Trump represents a return to moderation on economic issues and foreign policy, with an emphasis on majoritarian policies that benefit the white working/middle class. Clinton represented the embrace of extremist corporatism and financialization.

However, the ruling overclass tends to be rather extreme on most issues these days. So moderation is pretty radical from their perspective, while starting a war with Russia (Carly Fiorina actually proposed this) makes one a mainstream thinker.

* The problem is there is no more CENTER. Globalism undermined the notion of a center. Under nationalism, the nation is the center, and the majority population is the center, and middle class is the center, and core values are the center.

In US, ‘gay marriage’ is now considered the center. Rule by Jewish minority is accepted as mainstream. Favoring Israel over US is mainstream in both parties.

So, what is the center?

* So much has been written about the appeal of his anti-PC rhetoric. Few in the mainstream media have acknowledged the appeal of his largely centrist policy prescriptions. He’s not going to upset the apple cart over nickle/dime World War T-type nonsense. He’s going to focus his fire on immigration, trade, the debt. Jobs jobs jobs. He’s a money guy.

His foreign policy stance has generally been far to the LEFT of Hillary Clinton, who is a chickenhawk. It’s a beautiful combo, IMHO.

I don’t know if he (or anyone) is smart enough to figure out a way to slash the defense budget, raise the age for Social Security, and trim government pensions. But if anyone can cut those deals… maybe it’s Trump.

My biggest fear is that the Congressional wimps in his own party won’t fall in line. If they do he’ll end up on Mt. Rushmore.

* It seems that a lot of Trump’s ideas come from Ann Coulter. I remember Steve and David Frum separately making this claim. Also, Coulter is one of the few political people Trump follows in Twitter. He spends A LOT of time in Twitter.

I just saw Coulter mention there how she connected with Trump:

“…I attacked him on the Obama Birther stuff and he invited me to lunch.”

This is pretty important from the historical perspective. Who was influenced by whom and how? I remember Coulter writing things that strongly implied that she read iSteve.

* Lots of foreign oligarchs live in Trump properties. Trump himself uses who is buying and who is selling to get some sense of what’s going on in foreign countries.

* If Trump is serious about his biggest slogan, then he wants to be America’s Putin, who is the polar opposite of Yeltsin. Putin HAS made Russia solvent, functional and important again.

* I agree with your depiction of Clinton and his affect on the dimocrats. I’d just add that Clinton’s foreign policies were as bad as his domestic and even more influential. George Kennan described Clinton’s NATO expansion as one of the biggest foreign policy blunders of the 20th century. Clinton doubled down on this by involving the USA and NATO in a series of confrontations with Russian allies in the Balkans and the Caucusus. One outcome has been the conversion of Kosovo into a narco-terrorist state on the southern flank of Europe. All Clinton’s disastrous policies were neocon gambits and foreshadowed the disastrous neocon/zionist hijacking of US foreign policy under Bush II and BO.

* Have Hillary’s comments about Bill’s sex crimes struck you as unusually odd? Why? I think I know why.

Her responses are abnormally tangential, even for Hillary, to the point where she seems to have gone temporarily deaf and not heard the question. The responses are not just evasive, but almost completely off topic. She says things like “that is for the voters to decide” or “women victims should be believed unless there is a reason not to believe them,” and then she shuts up.

I think she has to do this for fear of a defamation lawsuit. Any denial, even the tiniest denial on her part would defame Juanita Broadrick and the other women, and could call down a nightmarish lawsuit that would drag on forever and force her to testify. She definitely can’t say “Juanita is lying” and she can’t say anything that implies Juanita is lying, such as “there is no credible evidence”.

Lawsuits based on her original actions are barred by the statute of limitations. Any new statement, however, would be a brand new offense and not barred. Her responses sound so odd because she is basically taking the Fifth without explicitly saying so.

* One of Nate Silver’s points is that enthusiasts for a candidates often exaggerate the likelihood a trend will continue. If Candidate X has risen from 5% to 20% in the last two months that doesn’t mean he’ll rise from 20% to 50% in the next four months. Lots of Republican candidates in 2011 and 2015 topped out after a nice little rise.

So far, Trump has been the exception.

The Le Pens in France are an example of the difficulties of extending trend lines.

* Perhaps Trump has activated in America’s collective unconscious the need and desire for tribal safety, survival and growth. We are under attack, from without and within, and a strong fortress border and military to defend the country is paramount. We crave unity, purpose and prosperity and subconsciously recognize that many so called immigrants are more like invaders and parasites with widely different values and cultures rather than those of the past that willingly became Americanized. We want to be winners and not losers. We don’t want to start unnecessary wars, but if attacked we will destroy the enemy. We want peace and friendship among peoples and nations and wish to maintain our own strong national character and abide by our own supreme law and Constitution.
Seems to me if Trump is elected Chieftain to ensure these needs are met he would be far more like Washington than Clinton.

* The big picture: outside of the Anglosphere, Western Europe, Japan, Israel, South Korea, Singapore, and Brunei, the world’s tap water isn’t safe to drink. We take it for granted, but clean tap water seems to require levels of competence that are relatively rare.

* You forgot to mention the Gay Nazi Bodybuilder contingent. We’re very much a part of Trump’s support.

The gay anime nazi bodybuilder Alt Right types developed cuckservative, the most effective verbal shiv we’ve seen in forever. Meanwhile the “respectable” types with the big brains sat around like they have for the last decade moaning about how we’re all doomed because Demographics while they LARPed as doomed intellectuals. We’ve caused Rick Wilson to meltdown on live TV about how Trump’s support is “anime nerds jerking off in their mom’s basement”, among others.

The GOP Smart Set tries to pretend that “I know posting this is going to get my TF flooded by nazi animes” is some sort of in joke, but it obviously bothers them after about five minutes of getting their ideas shredded by someone with an anime avatar and then called a low test cuck faggot who can’t please his woman on top of it, usually with photoshop of them in cuck porn.

* Two related issues history shows are stupid to run on:

1) Reducing the growth in entitlement spending/making Social Security and Medicare sustainable.

2) Reducing the federal debt.

That doesn’t mean they’re stupid issues, they’re just stupid to run on. They’re easy for opponents to demagogue, and there’s no political benefit in addressing them before circumstances force the issue (e.g., the bond market balks at our debt and starts demanding high interest rates to buy it; the OMB or some other nonpartisan watchdog raises an imminent warning about Social Security and Medicare).

When circumstances force the issue, you hammer out a bipartisan fix and you move on. But running on it is just asking the other party to kick you in the nuts.

* Republican voters are going to get serious and choose an establishment candidate any day now, you know? Trump’s hateful rhetoric isn’t who we are.

* Chaim Amalek I think that is correct. Trump was fun, but I really am torn between Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio. Each has crossover appeal to hispanics (republicans even if they don’t yet know it) and each has the steady hand not to rock the boat in trade talks with China or Mexico.

VIDEO: A Path-Breaking Speech by R’ Shlomo Yehudah Rechnitz About Serious Issues Facing Lakewood

Yair Hoffman writes: Every so often a speech comes along that not only has a remarkable impact upon its audience, but it changes the trajectory of where that society is heading.

Churchill gave such a speech in May of 1940 to the House of Commons. England was at the point of yi’ush – giving up hope in light of Nazi victories. Churchill gave his promise of nothing but blood, sweat, toil and tears. The trajectory changed. The British were inspired to a level of resiliency that eventually carried them to victory over the Nazis.

There have been others as well. Patrick Henry’s speech against the Stamp Act of 1764. His speech of “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” inspired the colonists to eventually cast off the oppressive British government. That speech too, changed the trajectory of apathy and hopelessness in the face of oppressive tyranny. And America was born.

Last night too, a speech was delivered in Lakewood, New Jersey. It was a powerful, emotional speech that cut to the very heart of a grave and critical problem that is uniquely affecting the Jewish community in Lakewood. It was delivered by Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz.

It was a speech that will, no doubt, change the trajectory.

The problem Mr. Rechnitz addressed was the growing number of rejected children – children that have been excluded or precluded from attending any of the fine mosdos in Lakewood. He addressed the bullet-like blow to the self-esteem of these children – to the instantaneous destruction of the self-worth of our youth, possibly never to be restored again.

He first spoke of almanos and young children who have lost their fathers. He spoke of the daily tzaar of the almanah. How they had lost the man who stood with them under the Chuppa not so long ago.. Who smiled, laughed, and danced before them. He spoke how he had spent Shabbos with yesomos and yesomim. Young boys under Bar Mitzvah, who don’t have a hand to hold onto, when they walk to Shul on Shabbos.

And then, Reb Shlomo Yehudah spoke of our own self-made problem – a problem we ourselves have created because of our attitudes. He spoke of fathers who don’t know where to turn, who were made to feel that they failed their innocent children. Of Mothers who cry themselves to sleep every night. He spoke of the children who at a tender young age, try to put on a normal face, but hide in their room and cry and cry more. This child’s parents have already cried their hearts out to their Rabbanim, to the school administration. “Please, please take our child. It’s six weeks, and he’s still not in school.”

He spoke of a 13 year old girl, who clearly sees that nobody wants her. She’s the town’s Pesoles. “Can you imagine,” Mr. Rechnitz asked, “an innocent Bas Yisroel, putting on a face for her friends, claiming she hasn’t had enough time to decide which school to go to, only to lay her head down on her pillow at night, the pillow which is still wet from the tears of the night before?”

He remarked that just on his drive into Lakewood that day, he receieved three calls from parents who asked him, “I hear you’re coming to Lakewood, can you speak to so and so. And I will address every one of them, because how can I not? We are a nation who is Noseh B’oel Chaveiro. How can we be comfortable just because everything is fine and dandy by us, while someone else is clearly suffering. Forget Ahavas Yisroel. I won’t ask for that much, but another Yid needs us, another Yid is crying out to us. How can we not answer him, yet expect Hashem to answer us, to take care of our needs?”

Israel’s press is usually far more critical of Israel than America’s press. European news coverage of Israel is more similar to Israel’s news coverage of Israel than it is to America’s news coverage.

Israelis are realists, Americans tend to have utopian notions about democracy, human rights and American exceptionalism. Israelis are more like Russians, Chinese, Japanese, Serbs in their realism and unabashed ethno-nationalism.

Israelis regard Americans as naive and foolish.

You have never had a Gentile country with more than a 5% population of Jews without massive anti-Semitism and disruption. It’s safest for Jews to keep our percentage in a goy country well below 5%. As Jews rise in numbers and power and out-compete goyim for scarce resources, the goyim fight back. It may well be the same in the media. It may be best we keep our numbers small in gentile lands so gentiles can shape their own myths and media. Jews can study Torah.

With a circulation as low as 6% market share of Israeli print media according to recent research, Haaretz is utterly unrepresentative of the Israeli public and political system at large. Yet, Haaretz is still considered by outsiders to be the Israeli equivalent of the New York Times.

To be clear, Haaretz, even with a low circulation, is still a vital part of Israel’s dynamic and democratic free press. But the fraught and often aggressive discourse that characterizes so much of the Israeli debate sounds very different to a foreign audience.

Indeed, Haaretz, through its English-language website, has demonstrated that it is more concerned with its international audience than its domestic Israeli one. Haaretz, unable to exercise any meaningful influence at home, is using its English-language website and print newspaper to encourage external pressure on Israel.

The latest and most prominent example is an opinion piece by the newspaper’s proprietor Amos Schocken, titled “Only International Pressure Will End Israeli Apartheid.”

Schocken’s piece would not be amiss on anti-Israel hate sites such as Electronic Intifada or Mondoweiss. Schocken refers to “nearly 50 years of Israeli apartheid,” and compares Israel to the former South African regime:

The Israeli apartheid regime is also illegitimate, and it is no surprise that the complete identification which the government is creating between Israeli policy and apartheid is causing the world to question not only Israel’s control of Palestinians without rights, but also the legitimacy of the state itself and the whole Zionist idea. If, as in the government’s policy, apartheid is a necessary condition for the fulfillment of Zionism and the existence of Israel, then Zionism and the state are illegitimate.

Schocken is entitled to his opinions, even to the extent of portraying Israel as an illegitimate state. However, he is apparently hell-bent on “weaponizing” his newspaper in order to delegitimize Israel:

Whoever fears Israel’s insistence on maintaining its apartheid regime and understands that there is no chance of eliminating it from within, should view the EU labeling of settlement products, the pressure FIFA has placed on Israel and Brazil’s refusal to accept Dani Dayan as ambassador as encouraging signs. This is a crucial beginning of global action against an illegitimate situation that Israel insists on maintaining, but will be forced to give up. The government will predictably take “appropriate Zionist responses” to this pressure and pass anti-democratic initiatives to suppress and silence Israelis who, understanding that only external pressure will bring change, draw world attention to displays of Israeli apartheid.

Haaretz, for Amos Schocken, is an integral part of this “global action” against “Israeli apartheid.” Where does Schocken draw the line? If labeling settlement products or refusing the credentials of an ambassador are a “crucial beginning,” what exactly is the end game?

For the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaign, Israel is also an illegitimate apartheid state that deserves to be destroyed. If Schocken has adopted the narrative and language of BDS, then, presumably, he is content to see Israel as the pariah amongst the nations. Haaretz then becomes the token Jew, much like those small yet very vocal anti-Zionist (and sometimes even antisemitic) Jews who serve as fig leaves for the BDS campaign. After all, if Jews and even a major Israeli newspaper are in favor of boycotting the Israeli “apartheid state,” then this form of assault on Israel’s wellbeing must be legitimate in the eyes of the uninformed observer.

Haaretz is striving not for objective and accurate reporting but for promoting a political agenda. It is incumbent, therefore, that the foreign media see Haaretz as a political entity rather than a primary news source. Using Haaretz as a cover for biased reporting is unacceptable.

While Haaretz is a product of Israel’s vibrant democracy and free press, it also plays a major role in the demonization of Israel. Amos Schocken’s latest opinion piece sadly acknowledges that Haaretz is anything but an unwilling accomplice.

CHINA’S SEARCH FOR THE SECRETS OF JEWISH SUCCESS

Chinese in the diaspora are known as the Jews of Asia.

I had a Chinese computer tech ask me how Jews are so rich when they take so much time off for the Sabbath and Jewish holidays.

During my first trip to China in the summer of 1985, I visited English Corner in People’s Park in Shanghai one Sunday afternoon. It’s one of the places where young Chinese people used to practice their English with visiting foreigners. Officials from the university where I was teaching in Shanghai escorted me there, and a big crowd quickly gathered to talk with me—a tall, curly-haired foreigner—and pushed closer to shower me with questions.

Some of the questions seemed strange to me (“Do all Americans have AIDS?”) but most were routine, such as, “Where are you from? How do you like China? Are you married? Do you like Chinese girls?” After two months in China, none of this was surprising to me except for one additional question: “What is your religion?”

I was taken aback at first—it’s not a question I often hear when I travel abroad—but after a brief pause I answered, “I am Jewish.” The young questioner gave me a thumbs up and said, “Jews are the best.”

I got a similar question—and similar response—everywhere I traveled in China later that summer: Kunming, Chengdu, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Guangzhou. My unscientific survey suggested that the Chinese liked and admired Jews, although they didn’t seem to know much about them. I knew that there had been Jewish communities in Shanghai and other Chinese cities until shortly after WWII but that there was little evidence of their presence after the Communist takeover in 1949. There were a handful of Jewish tourists and visiting faculty at the time of my first visit. But I was curious about how average Chinese people had developed an image, seemingly a positive one, of Jews.

I visited China several times after that summer, but it wasn’t until 2008, when I was selected as a Fulbright lecturer at Nanjing University, that I had a chance to explore the popular Chinese image of Jews. By then, there were many Jewish visitors and business people from the United States and Israel. And economic reforms were transforming the country. Making and spending money seemed at least as important as Communist ideology.

When I first arrived to teach in Nanjing in the fall of 2008, I was joined by Yan Li, a history graduate student from my home university who had been staying with her family in Beijing. Yan and I visited bookstores throughout the city. We started at a small bookstore that featured books about evangelical Christianity. Yan asked the young woman who worked there if they had books about Jews, but the clerk had trouble answering the question. She didn’t know what Yan meant by “Jew.”

At larger bookstores, we found entire sections devoted to books about Jews. Most of the books focused on finance, such as 16 Reasons for Jews Getting Wealthy by Chu Ke; The Secret of Talmud: The Jewish Code of Wealth by Jiao Yiyang; and Secret of Jewish Success: Ten Commandments of Jewish Success by Li Huizhen. Yan helped me translate the books and we found they were filled with misunderstandings and stereotypes. And books purporting to be based on the Talmud were mostly pithy sayings about wealth with little or no connection to actual Talmudic passages.

Some of the misunderstandings are almost comical. One of the best-selling books is What’s Behind Jewish Success by Tian Zaiwei and Sha Wen. “It is said that Jews are distinguished by their noses,” the authors write. “All Jews have hooknoses. This is not accurate. Despite hook-nosed Jews in cartoons, only Jews in Russia and the Near East have hooknoses in real life.” They also write that “to save time, Jews never beat about the bush in negotiations as Chinese often do.” Jews control the diamond market, the authors also write, since diamonds are “valuable and easy to carry which is ideal for Jews who are always drifting.”

The most prominent author and editor of Chinese books about Jews is He Xiongfei, who identifies himself as a literary critic, orator, Jewish studies expert, and visiting professor at Nankai University. He is director of Xiongfei Limited in Hainan and has edited a number of book series on intellectual, literary, and cultural studies. His most popular series is titled “Revelations on the Jews Superior Intelligence,” launched in 1995. His books include Jewish Wisdom of Family Education: The Cultural Code of the Most Intelligent and Wealthy Nation in the World (2005); Secrets of Jewish Success: The Golden Rule of a Miraculous Nation (2004); and Uncovering the Enigma of Jewish Success in the World (2002). He also has edited Collection of Jewish Strategies (1995); Jewish Life of Money (2002); Jewish Magnates of Ideas (1995); Legend of World Famous Jewish Celebrities (1996): Riddle of Jews (1997); and Jewish Bigwigs’ Skills of Making Money (1996). His most recent publications are cartoon books for children about Jewish wisdom and the Talmud.

In the best-seller The Spirit of Jewish Culture (the English title on the cover is Whats [sic] Behind Jewish Cleverness) by Sai Ni Ya, one of He Xiongfei’s pseudonyms, he writes that Jews “are the most intelligent, mysterious, and the wealthiest people in the world. In a sense, not knowing about Jews equals not knowing the world! When Jews sneeze at home, all the banks in the world would catch a cold one by one. Five Jews together can control the gold market of the humankind; the antagonism between the East and the West, in a sense, can be said to be that between two Jews—Jesus and Marx.”

Chaim Amalek: What can we as Jews do to add diversity to the cast of these programs so that they mirror the wonderful mosaic that is Mexico?

Comment: I haven’t watched any telenovelas recently, but — at least up until a few years ago — the standard plot-line was:
episode-1) Boy meets girl
episodes 2 – 25) Boy gets distracted by various sulty temptresses with heaving bosoms while girl gets distracted by various ultra-macho caballeros
episode-26) Boy and girl get married by a priest (or maybe even by the Bishop) in a grand colonial church with a lot of white doves fluttering around.
Hard to criticize, really.

Chaim Amalek: Sounds racially healthy to me. Whenever I channel surf through these shows, I see a bunch of white people, albeit of the Ricky Riccardo set. Never any short dusky sorts. Is that real life?

* Christopher Donnellan: You’d think Mexico was a predominantly ‘white nation’ judging from the complexion of most cast members of their Telenovelas.

* Chaim Amalek: One reason home delivery is so popular among the women of New York is that it gives them a reason to meet such men.

Sheffield says Latin players easier to control than blacks

ESPN: The percentage of African-Americans playing Major League Baseball is at an all-time low and Gary Sheffield says he has a theory why that’s the case.

In an interview with GQ magazine that’s currently on newsstands, the typically outspoken Tigers designated hitter said Latin players have replaced African-Americans as baseball’s most prevalent minority because they are easier to control.

“I called it years ago. What I called is that you’re going to see more black faces, but there ain’t no English going to be coming out. … [It’s about] being able to tell [Latin players] what to do — being able to control them,” he told the magazine.

“Where I’m from, you can’t control us. You might get a guy to do it that way for a while because he wants to benefit, but in the end, he is going to go back to being who he is. And that’s a person that you’re going to talk to with respect, you’re going to talk to like a man.

“These are the things my race demands. So, if you’re equally good as this Latin player, guess who’s going to get sent home? I know a lot of players that are home now can outplay a lot of these guys.”

According to a 2005 report by the University of Central Florida
Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport, only 8.5 percent of
major leaguers were African-American — the lowest percentage since
the report was initiated in the mid-1980s. By contrast, whites
comprised 59.5 percent of the majors’ player pool, Latinos 28.7
percent and Asians 2.5.

Are we ready to learn the hard lessons from Cologne?

That’s the first question I ask girls on Tinder these days — Hey sweetie, are we ready to learn the hard lessons from Cologne?

Nobody has adequately zeroed in on the underlying triple whammy — government blindness to the problem of Muslim integration, police failure to act and media-government collusion in “seeing no evil” — that underlie this European — not just German — tragedy.
For years, Sweden’s third-largest city, Malmo, led by popular Mayor Ilmar Reepalu, failed to ever hold to account Muslim perpetrators of hate crimes against the city’s tiny Jewish population. Muslim attacks on local Jews were even condoned by city fathers as understandable “payback” for Israeli actions against Palestinians. Reepalu is now retired, but the culture of denial and complicity he helped foster has contributed to inaction and silence in the face of a tremendous surge in rapes by predominately Muslim immigrants in Sweden, with the third-largest number of rapes worldwide.
In France, the culture of denial and inaction against hate crimes targeting Jews set the stage for today’s threat by Islamic radicals to social peace and French ideals. Back in 2000, before then-Minister of the Interior Nicolas Sarkozy tried to do something about it, French authorities stood by as Jews were attacked in religiously mixed Parisian neighborhoods. There followed firebombings of synagogues, incited by fiery street-corner imams, with tepid police response. One incident tells all: Two Arab men, one with a gun, commandeered a Jewish school bus, terrorizing the students and smashing the windshield. The police refused to label it as a hate crime, only as an act of vandalism. The most then-Prime Minister Lionel Jospin would do was “pray for harmony.” The escalating hate and violence laid the groundwork for the Muslim terrorist attack on a Jewish school in Toulouse in 2012, killing a rabbi and three little children.
Today, France’s struggles with homegrown and imported Islamic terrorism are a direct outgrowth of its years of cynical indifference to anti-Jewish Muslim violence and the no-go zones that emboldened Islamist extremists.
And as the political and social dynamics continue to roil, Jewish leadership wonders aloud whether there is any future for Jews in democratic Germany.
Looking forward, it is clear that while police and intelligence agencies can do more to protect us from the next Cologne or San Bernardino, the key lies within the Muslim world. ISIS and al-Qaida deftly market their extremist agenda on social media. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, our supposed NATO ally, said this during a speech in Cologne in front of a Muslim immigrant audience drawn from as far as Belgium, the Netherlands and France: “I understand very well that you are against assimilation. One cannot expect you to assimilate. … Assimilation is a crime against humanity.”
Belatedly, the White House has announced it will launch a new effort to counter ISIS’ inroads among young Muslims. We urge President Barack Obama to seek the counsel of Americans such as Zuhdi Jasser, the Phoenix cardiologist who helped found the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) and the Center for Islamic Pluralism.
A devout Muslim who believes that “America in fact provides the best atmosphere for Muslims to practice our faith,” Jasser spoke a few weeks ago at the launch of a Muslim Reform Movement at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. He made clear that Erdogan’s anti-assimilation gospel is a dead end, that religious pluralism is indivisible, and that anti-Semitism will lead nowhere good for growing number of Muslim newcomers who want to be benefit from America’s historic “open door.”
Embracing that Muslim-to-Muslim message should be a top priority of a president in search of a legacy. It will make America safer and pave the way for new Muslim immigrants to become a part of the fabric of our democracy.

The answers to a problem never lie with “the other” here Islam. We need to tell Islam in no uncertain terms that our women and our lives are sacrosant, and this, unfortunately involves violence and intransigency, distrust and discrimination.
Islam needs a good reason to respect the West. So far it has a good reason to disrespect it, taunt it, and a well founded belief it can get away with it.

WATCH: ‘Angela Merkel You Have Killed Germany!’ – 16 Year Old Girl’s Migrant Fears Video That Some Claim Facebook Are ‘Censoring’

From Breitbart: “Please help us!… It is… very hard to live day-to-day as a woman” says 16 year old Bibi Wilhailm, a German girl who has uploaded her personal experiences of Arab and Muslim migrants in a new video that some claim is being censored by Facebook under it’s new “hate speech” guidelines.

The 20 minute video, apparently created by the 16 year old Facebook user Miss Wilhailm, starts with her saying that she is, “so scared everywhere, for example if my family and I go out together, or if I see a movie with my friends. Usually I stay out until 6pm in winter, and it is so scary. It is just very hard to live day-to-day as a woman.”

The girl – who some social media users report has now been banned from Facebook, though others say she has removed herself – then goes on to talk about an incident that happened to her at a local supermarket saying, “I ran all the way home. I was frightened for my life. There’s no other way to describe it.”

She talks about her experiences over summer, when a group of Muslims said that her and her friends were “sluts” for walking outside in t-shirts.

“Yes, we were wearing t-shirts. It’s summer!” She adds: “Another day, I was wearing this. My friend and I purchased it while shopping. If we feel like wearing it, we will wear it! And you Muslims have no right to physically assault or rape us for it! God willing, never in my life. You have no right to attack us because we are wearing t-shirts. You also have no right to rape”.

Miss Wilhailm then turns toward what she sees on social media, describing how she has seen, “a 17 year old attacked, a 15 year old attacked, two 12 year olds attacked, so many,” and questions, “why should we, children, have to grow up in such fear?”

“I cannot understand why they do this. But more importantly, I cannot understand why Germany is doing nothing! Why is Germany standing by, watching, and then doing nothing? Please explain, why. Men of Germany, these people are killing your children, they are killing your women. We need your protection,” she goes on to say adding, “The politicians live alone in their villas, drink their cocktails, and do nothing. They do nothing! I do not know what world they live in, but please, people, please help us! Please, do something!”

Continuing, Miss Wilhailm tells of her own personal experiences with Arab and Muslims migrants saying, “One day, my friend and I were walking down the street, and a group of Arabs were protesting and demonstrating. They shouted, ‘Allah! Allah! Allah is the one God! Kill those infidels! Allah Allah!’ What should I do? Should I wear a burka? Why should I have to convert to Islam?”

“It’s fine if you believe in Allah, but why do you want to make everyone else believe in Allah too? I just think it would be better if there were no religion. Stop trying to make everyone else believe in your God when they do not want to”.

According to the her experiences, the police are no help. She alleges, “they say it is a problem and they ignore it. It is unfair. They laugh at us. They say we are dumb,” and that, “they don’t care about our fears.”

This description matches many other cases where police have been afraid to be labeled as racist for taking a hard line on migrant crime and even victims of migrant crime have been accused of racism for speaking up.

Free market liberal group Freiheitliche Aufklaerung or ‘Liberal Education’ posted the video on their Facebook group page and made the following comment when it disappeared from Miss Wilhailm’s page:

“How many have already noticed the video “You make Germany broken!” is no longer there. In this video, the 16-year-old girl said that she now is afraid to go out alone and that they can not understand the insane asylum policy of the German government. Europe and Germany are thus ruined… Unfortunately, we live in a social dictatorship, in what critics of the establishment and its illiberal policies are tackled and accosted in the strongest terms.”

The group claims it doesn’t have evidence, but says it “can not rule out a censorship by Facebook 100%”.

Breitbart London understands from Facebook that while the matter has not been fully investigated yet, the usual reason for videos disappearing are down to the user taking them down themselves.

The censorship fears come after Facebook announced last year that they would help the German government monitor for “hate speech” and as recently as this month Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government has demanded Facebook remove posts and videos in the wake of the Cologne sex attacks. The company insists it does not comment on individual incidents.

The video ends with a stark message for German Chancellor Angela Merkel: “Thank you, Angela Merkel, for killing Germany! I have no more respect for you, Merkel. I do not think you know what you have done. You do not see how our lives have changed. Open your eyes! Is this normal? Should I, a 16-year old who is almost 17, be so scared to walk outside my house? No, it is not normal. You have killed Germany!”

She closes: “men please help your women. Help your children. I am so scared. My friends have the same fears. We are shocked that this has happened. I hope this video can convince you, and that these terrible events can stop.”

Social media users are posting the video to as many video sharing sites and blogs as possible in a bid to keep it online.

When I try to tell the authorities about what has happened, they hold their hand up towards me and they say it is a problem and then ignore it. and they laugh. It is unfair. They laugh at us. They say we are dumb. They think this not only of me, but of the entire state of Germany. They don’t care about our fear. Please help us. This is an emergency! There are more and more of them.

One time in summer, the Muslims said we were sluts for walking outside in a t-shirt.

Another day, I was wearing this. My friend and I purchased it while shopping hehe. If we feel like wearing it, we will wear it! And you Muslims have no right to physically assault or rape us for it! The life of Germany has changed because these people cannot integrate. We give them so much help. We support them financially and they do not have to work. But they only want more babies and more welfare and more money. Men of Germany, please, patrol the streets and protect us. Do this for your women and your children. If you do that, I believe that we will have a chance.

This sort of action would be wonderful. We would be so grateful and thankful. So many thanks, if steadily, more men would come to protect us. We are so scared.

I am so upset about what Merkel has done.

Thank you, Angela Merkel, for killing Germany! I have no more respect for you, Merkel. I do not think you know what you have done. You do not see how our lives have changed. Open your eyes! Is this normal? Should I, a 16-year old who is almost 17, be so scared to walk outside my house? No, it is not normal. You have killed Germany!

This is the truth. We are no longer allowed to walk outside. We are no longer allowed to wear our clothes. We are no longer allowed to live the German life. This is the sad truth.

I think it’s about time to end this video. I believe I have given a full account from a normal person. I hope others can see this and understand.

I only want to end with one message: Men, please, help your women. Help your children. I am so scared. My friends have the same fear. We are shocked that this has happened. I hope this video can convince you, and that this terrible events can stop.
