OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (Reuters) – Three people were killed Sunday afternoon at two different Jewish community facilities in a Kansas City-area suburb, and a man was in custody as authorities investigated whether or not the shootings were anti-Semitic, authorities said.
Police said it was too early to determine a motive for the shootings, but they were not ruling out the possibility that the shootings were a hate crime. They have called in the Federal Bureau of Investigation to assist with the investigation, Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass said in a news conference.
“We know it’s a vicious act of violence. Obviously two Jewish facilities, one might make that assumption.” Douglass said.

For many years until his death in 2002, William Pierce (bio) led the National Alliance, which according to the Anti-Defamation League, was “the single most dangerous organized hate group in the United States today.”
According to Pierce, whites are committing suicide and the Jews, more than anyone, are responsible. In one radio commentary, he noted how much thoughtful mail he got urging him to go easy on Jews. Pierce argued that you have to see the forest, not just the trees.
According to Pierce in 1998, “if one looks into every destructive institution in our society, if one looks behind every destructive policy, one finds non-Jews as well as Jews. The ruinous immigration policy we have now in the United States is favored by some Gentiles as well as by virtually all Jews.”
Hmm. I suspect that most Jews in America oppose high rates of illegal immigration. On the other hand, despite Stephen Steinlight‘s efforts, every major Jewish organization taking a position on immigration favors amnesty and essentially open borders.
Pierce did not indiscriminately and primarily blame Jews for every ill in America: “If we look into the destructive exploitation of our natural environment, the cutting down of our forests and the strip-mining of our land and the polluting of our rivers, we probably will find greedy and short-sighted Gentile profiteers more often than we will find Jews.”
If you look at the environmental movement, you will find a disproportionate number of Jews. If you look at animal rights, you will again find a disproportionate number of Jews.
What is the most powerful institution in America today? According to Pierce, it is the news media and the news media is disproportionately owned and directed by Jews (almost none of them Orthodox, almost all of them secular, few of them practice the dictates of the Jewish religion such as keeping kosher, the Sabbath, and strapping on tefillin every day).
So why are there so many Jews in influential positions in the media? Because Ashkenazi Jews in particular have a way above average verbal intelligence, they come from a storytelling tradition, and they have more of an intense drive for success, prestige and the transmission of ideas than do non-Jews (because down deep, Jews fear that if they don’t dominate social discourse, if they don’t set the parameter of what is socially acceptable to publicly discuss, people unfriendly to Jews will and that will lead to another Auschwitz).
Jews in the media disagree about many things but they do tend to collectively shape what is OK to talk about publicly, and one of the things that is not OK to talk about publicly is Jewish influence in the media. Another thing that is unacceptable to talk about publicly is racial differences such as Jewish intelligence. Jews generally fear that such talk will lead to another holocaust.

Over 1/3rd of the 2009 Forbes 400 are of Jewish background, according to the Jewish Telegraph Agency’s reporter who covers Jewish philanthropy.Joel Stein of the LA Times found in 2007 that people of Jewish background hold a large majority of the most powerful positions in Hollywood.
This is not to say that influential Jews are at all united in what they favor. On the other hand, it is more or less true that Jews hold something of a veto over what topics are considered appropriate for discussion in the press, Jewish influence itself being the most obvious example of a topic that is off the table in polite society.
