I admire the work ethic that leads latinos to rob the recycling bins we put out at night to take from that which was supposed to fund city services. Only racists want to launch an assimilation campaign urging the adoption of civic virtue. After all, aren’t these latinos Americans, or at least undocumented workers, with strong family values who pay taxes and deserve a share of the American dream?

If there’s a cause that will make my name stink to high heaven, I’m on it like blacks on blondes. There’s just something about marginalized sub-cultures that grabs my attention.
