The Joys Of Diversity

Chaim Amalek writes: I live on the Upper West Side and I cannot imagine what it would be like without diversity. Who would deliver our Chinese and Thai, if not the Chinese and Hispanic? And who would slice our salmon at Fairway, or clean up after us or take care of our young or do any of the twenty other tasks that the busy white man and white woman haven’t time for? We need the undocumented Hispanic and the Chinese to do these things so that we don’t have to. So three cheers for diversity. It is part of what makes life here so special for us.
