Caterina in the Big City The most beautiful film I’ve seen about a girl coming of age. I love it like Cinema Paradiso (the director’s cut is my favorite film of all time — thanks for the recommendation Dennis Prager). I’m falling in love with Italy and Italian cinema. I loved Il Postino. Yes, I loved that big ol’ lug of a communist. I know I’m going to love a book or movie when it starts with a cliche scene and then surprises me.
