I had a girlfriend at UCLA in 1989. Because of my CFS, we’d lie in bed a lot and listen to Dennis Prager’s radio show on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Dennis said that men were more oriented to macro-issues such as politics while women were more interested in micro-topics such as personal relationships.
My girl was 4’10 and I told her that she had a micro-brain.
She complained that I didn’t take her seriously.
After a few months, I broke up with her. I thought I could do better.
She was fluent in five languages and she was the one who graduated from UCLA and got married and had a kid. The last time we emailed, about five years ago, she called me an old man.
