Professor Marc B. Shapiro Speaks In Los Angeles This Weekend

Professor Shapiro received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and holds the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Scranton. An author of several books and dozens of scholarly articles, Professor Shapiro is considered one of the most important young scholars of Jewish Intellectual History in the United States. His books Between the Yeshiva World and Modern Orthodoxy and The Limits of Orthodox Theology: Maimonides’ Thirteen Principles Reappraised were both National Jewish Book Award finalists.
