I’m tired of all these government bailouts of other people. Extending unemployment benefits? Doesn’t help me. I’ve worked for myself the past 12 years.
I don’t want a bailout. I’m just sick of people lining up at the government trough to get some.
I don’t work for the government. I don’t get to average the $71,000 a year that federal employees get.
I’ve not found government employees to be happy people. It seems to be work that generally sucks the soul.
I pay for my own health insurance — $340 a month to Kaiser. Then I go outside of Kaiser to get superb physical therapy at $200 a session and I get acupuncture ($35 a session from interns, the herbs cost about $40 extra a week).
