Did Peyton Manning’s Dramatic Decline Result From No Longer Doping?

Steve Sailer writes: Likely, the most difficult sports role in U.S. sports is NFL quarterback.

Do PEDs help there?

Probably …

There aren’t a lot of positive drug test results in the NFL so there’s not much evidence to go on.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if a certain quarterback’s physical decrepitness last year was due in part to him deciding he wouldn’t risk tarnishing his legacy by risking anymore getting caught by a PED test in his last season. At his retirement press conference he looked more like a middle manager on the 8am flight to DFW than the thick-necked superstar we were familiar with.

But even though he could barely throw the ball anymore last season, he went out on a winning note, which probably says more about the mental demands of being an NFL quarterback than anything else.

* “I would guess that there are more foreign-born white players in the NBA now than there are American whites.”

I haven’t done the count, but I’m almost certain it’s true.

“However, it would be interesting to have an Olympic team of White American Refugees, composed of boys from Duke, Gonzaga, and a few other outliers, and see what toughness, ball skills, and true teamwork could accomplish against dose supa affletes.”

They would lose, but put up a good fight. The list of best white American players in the NBA goes something like this:
Kevin Love
Gordon Hayward
J.J. Reddick
Ryan Anderson
Chandler Parsons
The Zellers and the Plumlees in some order

Then you get into the Cole Aldrich, Frank Kaminsky, Chase Budinger, Nick Collison, Sam Dekker, Meyers Leonard, Ryan Kelly types. All these guys except Reddick are 6-9 or taller. Who’s playing PG, 35-year-old Kirk Hinrich?

The best internationals, however, if they developed some cohesion, could and would win. Indeed, the Yugos, Spain, Greece, Argentina, Lithuania have all beaten the “Dream Team”. Australia came close yesterday, though of course the two main MVP contenders, Lebron and Curry, are not playing for Team USA.

The idea of an “American” (read: black) vs. “International” (read: white) NBA All-Star Game was raised years ago by Bill Simmons before he was cucked/emasculated by ESPN. Unlike the current All-Star Game, which is essentially a very high level AAU game with nothing at stake, it would generate tremendous interest. They could do pay-per-view and make millions.

The blacks would do everything to avoid the eternal shame of losing to whitey, and the latter would try their hardest to show organization and skill can defeat the inherent athletic and anthropomorphic advantages of West Africans in basketball.
