Don’t Depend On A Single Source For Happiness

A caller to Dennis Prager’s radio show Friday, April 30, said: “A clear way to have happiness is to think of our life as a pier. Each pillar on that pier should give us happiness and sustain us. Each pillar could be things like faith, husband, family, work, hobbies.”

Dennis says WASPs are about the only group that does not heavily depend for its happiness on their children. Ethnics overwhelmingly look to their kids for their happiness.

I remember once describing my family to my ethnic therapist as “about average close for white people.”
