I keep getting asked about former adult film star Jenna Jameson’s new reality show – not because I know a lot about Jameson, or her profession, but because the show chronicles her conversion to Judaism.
Jenna Jameson was one of the leading porn stars (I think now they call them “adult film stars,” presumably more politically correct) from 1993-2008, and built a large and profitable empire from her success (is that how you describe it?). Jameson has two children with her ex-husband, former MMA fighter Tito Ortiz. (Ortiz has full custody of their children.) Jameson is engaged to be married to an Israeli diamond dealer, Lior Bitton, and apparently she is converting to Judaism. And according to Bitton, they are making a reality show out of it for Israeli television’s Channel 2. The show is reportedly in the early stages of production, with no executive producers or production companies attached.
I know. There’s a lot going on here. I’ll try to break it down.
The porn industry is very problematic. While there are conflicting reports over whether there’s a higher incidence of women turning to porn as a way to make a living after coming from abuse, Jameson did say in a 2004 interview with Anderson Cooper that “It’s something that I’ve thought about a lot, and I can’t really say for sure if that is reasoning behind why I’ve gotten into the adult industry.”
Also, the treatment of women in particular in the porn industry is incredibly fraught (for a rundown of some of the topics and issues involved, see this article on ABC.net.au), and the images portrayed in porn of women in particular have been accused of everything from desensitizing men to “real” sex, contributing to the denigration and disrespect of women, and contributing to a culture that does not value intimacy.
I believe all of those things to be true, but I also know that especially with the invention of the internet, porn isn’t going anywhere.
Converting
I think it is tremendous when anyone decides to convert to Judaism. My ex did it, and so did his mother after our wedding. Joining a tribe of people who make up such a tiny percentage of the population but have such a large voice and presence and who have a homeland that is under global scrutiny for existing and whose politics are constantly challenged is no small task.

Three weeks after the gruesome discovery of a woman’s burned and bound body near MBTA commuter rail tracks, authorities in Massachusetts have issued an arrest warrant for a Boston man.
Forty-three-year-old Fernando Owens of Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood is wanted in connection with the homicide of 29-year-old Ashley Bortner of New Jersey.
This story reminds me of Richard Wright’s novel Native Son:
Bigger Thomas wakes up in a dark, small room at the sound of the alarm clock. He lives in one room with his brother Buddy, his sister Vera, and their mother. Suddenly, a rat appears. The room turns into a maelstrom and after a violent chase, Bigger claims the life of the animal with an iron skillet and terrorizes Vera with the dead rodent. Vera faints and Mrs. Thomas scolds Bigger, who hates his family because they suffer and he cannot do anything about it.
That evening, Bigger has to see Mr. Dalton for a new job. Bigger’s family depends on him. He would like to leave his responsibilities forever but when he thinks of what to do, he only sees a blank wall. He walks to the poolroom and meets his friend, Gus. Bigger tells him that every time he thinks about whites, he feels something terrible will happen to him. They meet other friends, G.H. and Jack, and plan a robbery of the white wealth. They are all afraid of attacking and stealing from a white man, but none of them wants to admit their concerns. Before the robbery, Bigger and Jack go to the movies. They are attracted to the world of wealthy whites in the newsreel and feel strangely moved by the tom-toms and the primitive black people in the film, but they also feel that they are equal to those worlds. After the cinema, Bigger returns to the poolroom and attacks Gus violently, forcing him to lick his blade in a demeaning way to hide his own cowardice. The fight ends any chance of the robbery occurring; Bigger is obscurely conscious that he has done this intentionally.
When he finally gets the job, Bigger does not know how to behave in the large and luxurious house. Mr. Dalton and his blind wife use strange words. They try to be kind to Bigger, but they actually make him very uncomfortable; Bigger does not know what they expect of him. Then their daughter, Mary, enters the room, asks Bigger why he does not belong to a union, and calls her father a “capitalist”. Bigger does not know that word and is even more confused and afraid to lose the job…
That night, he drives Mary around and meets her Communist boyfriend Jan. Throughout the evening, Jan and Mary talk to Bigger, oblige him to take them to the diner where his friends are, invite him to sit at their table, and tell him to call them by their first names. Bigger does not know how to respond to their requests and becomes very frustrated, as he is simply their chauffeur for the night. At the diner, they buy a bottle of rum. Bigger drives throughout Washington Park, and Jan and Mary drink the rum and have sex in the back seat. Jan and Mary part, but Mary is so drunk that Bigger has to carry her to her bedroom when they arrive home. He is terrified someone will see him with her in his arms; however, he cannot resist the temptation of the forbidden, and he kisses her.
Just then, the bedroom door opens, and Mrs. Dalton enters. Bigger knows she is blind but is terrified she will sense him there. He silences Mary by pressing a pillow into her face. Mary claws at Bigger’s hands while Mrs. Dalton is in the room, trying to alert Bigger that she cannot breathe. Mrs. Dalton approaches the bed, smells alcohol in the air, scolds her daughter, and leaves. As Bigger removes the pillow, he realizes that Mary has suffocated. Bigger starts thinking frantically, and decides he will tell everyone that Jan, her Communist boyfriend, took Mary into the house that night. Thinking it will be better if Mary disappears and everyone thinks she has left Chicago, he decides in desperation to burn her body in the house’s furnace. Her body would not originally fit through the furnace opening, but after decapitating her, Bigger finally manages to put the corpse inside. He adds extra coal to the furnace, leaves the corpse to burn, and goes home.

As anyone who binge-watched Netflix’s new superhero-noir series can tell you, it’s remarkably frank about sexuality: There are a half-dozen sex scenes, and they’re as vivid as they are realistic. Jessica Jones’s creators and performers told us that those scenes grew out of the show’s takes on gender, power, and superhero-genre tropes — and that they were much more enjoyable to watch than to film.
Read no further if you don’t want Jessica Jones spoilers.
“People go, ‘Wow, this must be fun.’ Well, they don’t realize you do it all day. It takes, like, half a day to film it,” said Mike Colter, who plays Jessica’s love interest, a fellow superstrong loner named Luke Cage. Most of the show’s sex scenes are between him and Krysten Ritter’s Jessica, and they’re pronouncedly athletic. The first one begins with the two of them in missionary position and ends with Jessica playing power bottom by getting Luke to take her from behind. Even for the eye-poppingly muscular Colter, the scene was physically draining.
“My chest and my arms were burning, there were points in my back — I was like, ‘Another take?’ Literally, I was trembling,” Colter recalled. He took solace in the leadership of episode director S.J. Clarkson, known for her work on Dexter and Heroes. “She’s the sex-scene director to have if you want to do sex scenes, because she knows exactly where to put the hands and what to do with the hands and what to do with the head. She’s just technically sound on it.”
Technical precision was also the preferred approach for David Petrarca, who directed the episode in which we see Luke and Jessica go at it three times. “The problem is, people bring their own kind of shame about sex to the table” when you shoot sex scenes, he said. “If you project that into the environment, you charge the atmosphere. So the best way is to make it as pedestrian as humanly possible.”
That said, one of the moments he directed wasn’t pedestrian by non-superhuman standards: Jessica is on top of Luke, riding him so hard that they shatter the bed’s bottom legs. The bed was a custom-built rig with breakable legs, which were held together with a pin. On command, a trigger would pull the pin and drop the bed. But even while filming that scene of sexual frenzy, the on-set atmosphere was one of artistic distance.
“That’s a technical shot! That’s me trying to get an Edward Hopper–esque image of the lonely woman in the window!” Petrarca recalled. “You work through the mechanics: Sheet’s gonna go here, your arm’s here, maybe he rolls this way to the left.”
Very few Jews have any agenda with regard to interracial sex. They work hard, they look after their families, they hang out with their own kind, they do the best they can in life. A tiny number of elite Jews, however, want to make the West more tolerant, more cosmopolitan, and less racist and they think it is a mitzva to show things like glamorous black-white sex and positive portrayals of trannies and homosexuals.
Portrayals of Jewish-Gentile hookups, however, are sure to raise the hackles of traditional Jewry (for whom inter-marriage is a scandal).
NEW YORK — A painting of a black woman and a Hasidic Jew embracing and kissing on the cover of the New Yorker magazine drew criticism Monday from leaders on both sides of a racially divided community.
The artist, Pulitzer Prize winner Art Spiegelman, and New Yorker editor Tina Brown said the Valentine’s Day cover advocates replacing conflict with love.
Spiegelman, in an accompanying commentary, acknowledged that his image is a dream that is “knowingly naive” and that the problems besetting Jews and blacks in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section “cannot be kissed away.”
“But once a year, perhaps, it’s permissible, even if just for a moment, to close one’s eyes, see beyond the tragic complexities of modern life, and imagine that it might really be true that ‘All you need is love,’ ” he wrote.
Tensions between the community’s blacks and ultra-Orthodox Jews erupted in August, 1991, with two deaths and days of racially fueled violence. Conflict continues, with alleged bias attacks from both sides.
The cover of the Feb. 15 issue, which appeared on newsstands Monday, may do more harm than good, said the Rev. Herbert Daughtry, a black activist.
“I think that instead of healing anything, there will be anger emanating because of this,” Daughtry said.
Daughtry and Rabbi Joseph Spielman, chairman of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council, both called the painting “unfortunate.”
“Rather than healing, this just makes everything ludicrous,” Spielman said, pointing out that Hasidim may not even kiss their wives or show them physical affection in public.
Spiegelman said the negative reactions from both groups made him sad. But he added, by telephone from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., it ultimately may have a positive effect.
“If it unites both communities against me, at least we’ve gotten them united,” he said.
Brown, who took over as editor last year, defended the cover.
“Art Spiegelman’s beautiful image, representing as it does his dreamlike vision of comity and love, speaks for itself,” she said.
Daughtry said he doubted that the magazine would have used a cover showing a black man kissing a Hasidic woman. Spiegelman said he considered such a picture and conceded racial stereotypes affected the final version.
* In recent decades, the leading Jewish organizations have invoked the Holocaust to argue that anti-Semitism is a distinctively virulent and murderous form of hatred. But in the first postwar decades their emphasis — powerfully reinforced by contemporary scholarly opinion — was on the common psychological roots of all forms of prejudice. Their research, educational, and political action programs consistently minimized differences between different targets of discrimination. If prejudice and discrimination were all of a set piece, they reasoned that they could serve the cause of Jewish self-defense as well by attacking prejudice and discrimination against blacks as by tackling anti-Semitism directly.
* …there was never much of a black-Jewish alliance on the communal or organizational level. There were a great many individual Jews who over the years had worked on behalf of blacks, but, with some exceptions, they were leftist and liberal activists who had little connection to the Jewish community. This was certainly true of the Jewish lawyers and student volunteers who worked with the black movement in the South in the 1960s…During the McCarthy era, Jewish organizations repeatedly pointed out that it was a fallacy to infer from the fact that a great many (perhaps even a majority of) Communists were Jews that a great many, let alone a majority of, Jews were Communists. The logic was impeccable with respect to alleged Jewish pro-Communism, and equally impeccable with respect to alleged Jewish civil rights activism.

Sara Mayer, 31, of Borough Park, who hanged herself Sunday, had a nervous breakdown on the eve of her arranged wedding about five years ago — and had already endured years of physical and mental abuse by relatives, according to the source.
“[Her suicide] was a family mental-health and abuse issue on top of being forced into marriage with her first cousin,” the source said, recalling how the union was annulled just months later.
“Ever since [her marriage], she has been in and out of mental hospitals,” the source explained. “She had been coerced by her mother’s side of the family’’ to marry her cousin. “She married the son of the mother’s sister.”
Some members of the Brooklyn family apparently didn’t find out about Sara’s torment until just recently.

Growing up, some relatives “kept calling her retarded, ugly, etc. We didn’t know this until later,” the source said.
The source added that Sara and her younger sister Faigy — who jumped to her death from a Manhattan rooftop bar in July — had been seeking advice from a family member for their depression, even though the relative wasn’t a licensed therapist.
“In Williamsburg, it was so bad that the rabbis got together and they put a poster up warning the community about her and the lack of her credentials,” the source said. “But despite the rabbis’ warning, people are still seeing her for family therapy.”
“To have lost two girls in less than a year shows that something is up with this family. It’s very sad.”

Anatoly Karlin writes: On the global scale, the Protestant world comprise nine of the world’s top 10 most financially literate countries, and an amazing 17 of the world’s top 25 – which is also a convenient threshold representing 50%+ financial literacy. (By which point the stock of both developed world Protestant countries pretty much ends). The world’s offshore bank, Switzerland, is a relatively disappointing 15th.
9 of the top 10 countries are within the Hajnal line of Europe, or are their descendants; and 17 of the top 25.
Predictably, the non-Protestant exception in the top 10 is Israel. The Jews can sure count their shekels.
The Catholics and Orthodox Christians tended to do a lot worse, even though as we know IQ differences between them and the Protestant world are fairly minor. Likewise with the Confucian civilization.
This suggests that Protestant populations have tended to culturally evolve (or gene-culturally evolve) an “intuitive” understanding of finance like things, while the rest of the world pretty much has to figure it out from zero. More intelligent populations with financial experience, such as the Japanese, tend to be relatively better at it (43% financially literate); less intelligent populations without much financial experience, such as the Indians and Iranians, do much worse at it (<25% financially literate).

(1) A solid majority of Muslims in Egypt support the death penalty. Conservatively assuming 80% of the population is Sunni Muslim, that’s 51% of the population that are essentially Islamist extremists and potential Islamic State sympathizes. That also happens to be the exact percentage that voted for Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Morsi in 2012. This probably makes liberal democracy in Egypt all but impossible: Its either the mustachioed soldiers or the bearded preachers. Choose one.
(2) The majority of Muslims in Malaysia and Jordan, both countries widely seen as “moderate,” support the dealth penalty for apostasy.
(3) The only country of the Arab Spring to transition to a more or less functioning democracy is Tunisia. Probably not coincidentally, it is also the most religiously “progressive” of all the Arab states. In those areas where the Islamic State has been taking power – northern Iraq, eastern Syria, the Sinai, the central Libyan coast, chunks of Afghanistan – it appears that the local population supports the death penalty for apostasy and other extremist interpretations of Islam, far more so than even in the rest of the world. Perhaps ~50% is a sort of “tipping point” for the most rabidly chiliastic Islamist cults to take root?
(5) It seems almost banal to point it out, but then again, as Gregory Cochran points out, even very obvious things need to be repeated now and then.

It is highly unlikely would find more than 1% of Christians in any country supporting the death penalty for apostasy, and even that 1% would as often as not be merely trolling the pollster. The only surveyed major Muslim countries with a comparable level of insanity are Kazakhstan and possibly Turkey. Regardless of 70 years of secular propaganda, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have three to five times the number of fundamentalists per capita, with 5-6% of their Muslim population supporting death for apostasy; though still an order of magnitude better than neighboring Afpak and the Middle East, these figures can already make themselves felt in events such as the defection of a senior Tajik policeman to the Islamic State.
It only gets worse from there on. Tunisia, with 16% of the population being fundamentalists, gets regularly wracked by terrorist strikes; Bangladesh, with 33%, sees atheist bloggers murdered with impunity. The percentage of Muslims who are fundamentalists in Western Europe is (based on other polls) probably generally around the 25% mark. That is a lot of fundamentalists. And it translates to a permanent, simmering terrorist threat. Which – rather conveniently? – requires an ever expanding security/surveillance state to keep suppressed. Once you go above the 50% mark, as in Jordan, Pakistan, or Egypt, only a dictator or a well-respected monarch prevents the people – the demos – from actualizing their back-to-the-roots fantasies.

From VDARE: In the first hour of his show on Wednesday (November 25, 2015), Rush Limbaugh had some fun prepping his listeners to endure being harangued about political issues by any leftist relatives with whom they’ll be sharing a dinner table on Thanksgiving. For example, the Democratic National Committee has a special web page titled “Your Republican Uncle” and bearing this introduction:
The holiday season is filled with food, traveling, and lively discussions with Republican relatives about politics sometimes laced with statements that are just not true. Here are the most common myths spouted by your family members who spend too much time listening to Rush Limbaugh and the perfect response to each of them.

One of the subjects they purport to set their (gullible) groupies straight on is “Immigrants & Refugees.” (Their talking point under that heading is a very brief challenge/response containing substantial misinformation about the vetting of refugees by our crack federal bureaucracy.)
If you’re anticipating such amiable colloquy at Thursday’s dinner table, how might you get ready for the onslaught?
Well, immigration is a vast subject about which most Americans, even “bright, well-educated, well-traveled” ones, tend to know very little. So it’s difficult to prepare for the myriad of possible sub-topics that might arise. Thus it may be better to go armed (mentally!) with something simple and of large import.
That could well be the concept that’s in NumbersUSA’s famous six-minute “World Poverty, Immigration, and Gumballs” video. Roy Beck’s presentation in the video makes graphically clear—even to nearly-innumerate viewers—that mass immigration to the U.S. can’t materially succour “the wretched of the earth,” since there are so many of them.
Presumably because of all the refugee news of late, there’s been a new surge of viewership for the “gumballs” video. In a mass email dispatched last Saturday (November 21), with subject line “Our gumball video went viral again—have you seen it?”, NumbersUSA announced:
You may have seen it making the rounds on the internet, but here it is straight from the source.
This video is more relevant than ever as politicians in Washington are saying we should resettle tens of thousands of refugees in the U.S. It has been viewed over 17 million times on Facebook in the past couple weeks and we weren’t even the ones sharing it.

Their email links to the video at this Facebook page, but you don’t have to sign in with Facebook to view it there. (A comment at that page by one Shawn Kelchner, at 11:44 a.m. on November 21, is “Best video ever! even dumb people should be able to understand.”)
It’s also available elsewhere on the web. For example, this version at a YouTube page has English [!!] subtitles. More generally, just do a Google search on “gumballs video,” and you’ll find it on top.
If you, as a VDARE.com reader, have never seen the “gumballs” video, it’s high time you did. If you have seen it before, this is a perfect time for a review. Either way, it’ll be good to have it fresh in your mind if you’ll be sitting around with a cohort of the clueless at Thanksgiving dinner.
The “Off the Charts” video is particularly useful in debunking the “nation of immigrants” lie. Beck shows graphically that situation (the level of immigration that could cause someone to say this was a “nation of immigrants”) did not occur until about 2010. (Two minute version here.)
One of the most memorably vivid characterizations of the USSR was as a communal apartment, in which every ethnicity had its own room. Except the majority Russians, who had to make do with the foyer while paying the bulk of the rent, which didn’t make them too happy.
In some sense, US Whites are not in a dissimilar situation. They were the ethnic group that essentially built the country and produced virtually all its most eminent intellectual figures, but now have to listen to BLM activists claiming “their people” built Princeton. (Just as they were once Kings and Queens of Egypt, which just goes to show that at its root BLM is essentially a “progressive” front for Black Nationalism). They are faced with constant attacks on their “privilege” even as that very privilege not just vanishes by goes into active reverse (see Deaton & Case’s revelations about the the White mortality crisis, and Ron Unz’s finding that the most discriminated against group in university admissions are White Gentiles).
Thus, it is not surprising to see an incipient reaction against this, the latest facet of it being the rash of White Student Unions now being formed in universities across the US.
In todays society where people seem more divided by race than any time in recent history, is this even surprising or wrong? Maybe white people feel the need to band together in order to stand up for themselves.
But this narrative is incorrect. In private interviews conducted with the creators of a number of these groups, Breitbart Tech has found that a number of the new “White Student Unions” are indeed the product of students on campus who are afraid to speak out publicly.
But these students aren’t white supremacists, or even white nationalists. In some cases, they are not even white. One of the anonymous student group founders we spoke to, who did not wish to be identified, was of South Asian descent. Another founder was Mexican-American. They are concerned by what they see as unchecked hostility towards their fellow white students.
Interestingly, these pages themselves appear to be explicitly adopting the language of the diversity commissars, as seen on one of the posts at the UCF White Student Union.
The White Student Union surge is a legitimate one filled with positive intentions. We will continue to be a voice and safe space for people of Whiteness.

* This is a good article so it seems that we are finally getting to the bottom of the significance of the civil rights movement. The purpose of the civil rights movement and the doctrine of disparate impact is to undermine the idea of private property and the legal concepts of consent and consideration. It is not as simple as saying that women and minorities were “denied” a position on the other end someone has to offer it – at one time private property, liberty of contract and freedom of association were upheld to be sacrosanct principles. There are two ways of organizing society – status or contract as Sir Henry Maine stated in his book on principles on ancient law. In our disparate impact society any legal entity that does anything the civil rights leaders dont like (which cannot be defined ahead of time) is subject to legal extortion. Highly paid experts who produce nothing of value spend their lives trying to avoid and rationalize this extortion. Maybe some of the white working class should be retrained as disparate impact specialists in our new multicultural utopia.
* It’s just ironic that this kind of a White segregationist idea has long since been promoted by David Duke – a White nationalist opinion leader who has been marginalized and who’s always been viewed as totally “far out”. And here we have these White Student unions springing up left and right – it didn’t take very long.
Every time there’s a huge terrorist threat, the public gives up their freedoms for protection from the Government. And every time, our leaders use these new laws to destroy civil liberties.
What happened to ordinary French people (and their way of life) after the recent Paris attacks? All the mainstream media are concerned with 10 days after the event is making sure that public support for the increased war effort is high. We need more footage of ambulances, their sirens blaring and lights flashing. Put it on loop, 24 hours a day, with sad images of people crying and laying wreaths, then throw in some fear in the form of some ugly-looking jihadists, and the population will be cheering on another foreign mission in no time at all.
While all that’s going on, the Government invariably rush through tougher new laws against terrorism. And if history can teach us one thing, it’s that modern terrorism laws are actually anti-civil liberty laws in disguise. Today, with perfect timing, the French version of We Are Change was censored. This is a worrying and unprecedented crackdown on the alternative media in Europe, and one which French bloggers fear is the beginning of the end for freedom of speech.
‘Le Blog De Resistance‘ is a popular French-language alternative news source with over 10 million hits and thousands of regular subscribers. The author, who calls himself Z, has been in panic mode since a state of emergency was called after the Paris attacks. This high-level alert was extended for three months, along with a pro-war propaganda campaign and the media under strict orders to terrify the population like never before. While chaos continued outside, the French Government locked themselves away to discuss new legislation which would affect the alternative media in a very negative way. Today, Z’s greatest fear was realized, and he writes:
“And so it begins. How long will this blog remain open? The worst is that the French do not care, they are totally obsessed with more security at the expense of their freedoms. The world mocks the terrible secrets revealed by Snowden. Amazing – in France, the ‘land of liberty’. Today once again I repeat, I am very afraid for freedom of expression and the alternative media. I don’t know how much longer I can write and report freely. I fear for myself. Risk taking was already intense, made worse with the slew of laws passed since the beginning of the year (anti-terrorism law, intelligence …) now, it’s huge. It’s very hard for us to write under the state of emergency. Stress and tension are everywhere.”
The tone is clear. It’s fearful and worried. It’s eerie. It sounds like it was written in Nazi Germany in 1939, not France in 2015.
Les Moutons Enrages, Sputnik France and Fawkes are other popular alternative media sites which ‘Le Blog De La Resistance’ author Z references in his post. Most remain defiant, with the first promising to ‘open up in Russia if necessary’. Z points out that Francois Hollande has been promising to silence ‘conspiracy theorists’ since January this year. We Are Change’s crime was to post a video (below) with a few questions about the Paris attacks. They seriously pissed off the authorities, and it was enough to get the French version banned for ‘reasons of national security’. Z then quotes GeorgeOrwell, and laments the fact that telling the truth is now ‘an act of suicide’.
Here’s a question: when leaders keep telling us not to allow terrorists to change our way of life, why is crushing dissent the first thing they do when something horrific happens? Isn’t dissent part of living in a free world? Aren’t protests and asking tough questions of those in power just a couple of the liberties we are supposedly trying to ‘spread‘ around the world? Isn’t that part of what makes democracy so great?
Well, apparently not. We need tougher terrorism laws because the puppet media just told us that one of the evil guys came in from Greece pretending to be a refugee, and he even left a passport (later proven to be fake) outside the burning building he just escaped from. We need them because, despite the fact you or I could be arrested at home for an ‘offensive tweet’ within minutes of putting it out there, our intelligence agencies are supposedly too under-resourced to successfully track down a few ISIS Twitter accounts. They’re so crap, Anonymous had to step in and do their jobs for them. It’s strange how terrible the intelligence services are when it suits the agenda: Snowden has revealed how the government can control your mobile phone and listen in on your conversations even when it’s turned off, but somehow the real terrorists get to perfect their complicated and evil schemes without any detection at all. How very convenient.
Yep, the intelligence services are doing a terrible job. They have proven themselves incapable of predicting horrific attacks in advance, despite the fact that as soon as a terror attack occurs, a huge list of details is magically available to the media. How was it possible, for example, that alleged Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev‘s personal Amazon wishlist was being discussed well before the time it would take the authorities to even look at all the CCTV footage of the marathon? These perceived (ie fake) failings may lead many to support increased spying measures for the ever-growing sprawling network of global surveillance tentacles, but it’s worth asking whether these incompetencies are even real, because all terrorism laws tend to do is systematically dismantle what is left of our civil liberties.
We support our French independent media friends in their struggle against censorship. The following quote is falsely attributed to the French philosopher Voltaire, who was a great defender of freedom (and would no doubt be turning in his grave about France’s new gag laws). It turns out Voltaire didn’t say this, rather it was said about him- a friend’s description of the great man’s philosophy- which seems more relevant to his countrymen today than ever.
“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”

You already know this is happening because you’ve probably seen the media campaign where you live. Pro-Syrian Muslim groups and the federal resettlement contractors*** are putting in motion a campaign like no other especially since they have learned that the majority of Americans don’t want the US State Department to bring in 10,000 Syrian, mostly Muslim, refugees and scatter them throughout the country.
They think if they utter the word “robust” in regards to the vetting process, the public will say—well, then by all means let them in! WTH is “robust?”
Here is just one article about the media blitz by pro-Syrian groups and the No Borders movement, this one from Voice of America:
In three U.S. opinion polls published by Bloomberg, NBC News and the Washington Post/ABC News this month, 53 to 56 percent of respondents said no more Syrian refugees should enter. One reason cited by many respondents is a concern that Islamic State terrorists could slip through the U.S. refugee vetting process.
And, remember! The UN High Commissioner for Refugees told a Georgetown audience (here, we were there) that the Syrian Christians are not persecuted because the “regime” (Assad) is protecting them, therefore it is the Sunni Muslims that the UNHCR is focusing on and sending to your towns.
Here is World Relief’s Washington advocate (aka lobbyist) Jenny Yang:
Yang never tells the listening audience that World Relief is PAID BY THE HEADby the US taxpayer for their work in ‘welcoming communities’ and that they work closely with businesses to supply them with cheap immigrant labor.
World Relief’s vice president of advocacy and policy, Jenny Yang, also appeared on Hashtag VOA, and said her organization works with businesses and religious groups around the country to provide Syrian refugees with jobs and welcoming communities.
World Relief is also reimbursed by the taxpayer through a match program for supplying the volunteers in churches who pick up the refugees at the airport!
“We equip churches to respond tangibly,” Yang said. “We work with them in picking up a refugee family at the airport, or providing them with a meal, or even inviting a family [to join them] for the holidays.”
Then here she is implying that they are saving the Christians, WORLD RELIEF IS NOT SAVING THE CHRISTIANS! The UNHCR is picking Sunni Muslims for resettlement to America and as a federal contractor, World Relief must resettle the Muslims or lose their federal funding (it is about the money!). Imagine having to dodge and weave like this! I repeat, they are not helping Christians!
Yang said World Relief believes there is a need to help religious minorities in the Middle East, including Christians. “But helping Christians doesn’t have to come at the expense of other refugees like Muslims who also are persecuted,” she said. “As Christian evangelicals, we believe that we can live out the calling of Jesus in welcoming the foreign-born and others into our communities.”
One of their favorite talking points is this one about how Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan are doing more than their fair share. But, please remember that the Syrians who have gone to those countries will be sent back to Syria the minute the fighting is over and will never become voting citizens of those countries. Those coming here will live permanently in the US, bring their family members and become voting citizens of America. And, it will never end. More than two decades after the Somali civil war the US (World Relief and others) are still resettling Somalis in small town America by the thousands!
Yang said the number of Syrian refugees that the Obama administration wants to welcome in fiscal year 2016 — 10,000 — is a “drop in the bucket” compared to the millions of Syrian refugees absorbed by Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.
World Relief is just one of nine federal contractors working to change America for Obama, for the NO Borders Left, and for the Democrat Party.
