I just watched the excellent three-part Australian documentary series “The Killing Season” about leadership challenges in the Australian Labor Party 2007-2013.

Former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd kept using the word “betrayal” to describe his deputy taking his job.

It’s a shame that Kevin does not read my blog. There’s no such thing as betrayal. That’s simply a hyperbolic term we use when other people don’t have the priorities we expect. Julia Gillard did not betray Kevin Rudd, she simply chose other priorities above Kevin Rudd.

Nothing is personal. People never do anything that we can’t find an equivalent in our own dark heart.

The sacred parts of the doco are anything to do with racism and sexism. These are shown as heinous sins.

In a sane society, diluting your country’s identity and acting against its cohesion would be regarded as heinous sins.

Is It Wrong To Hate A Group?

I don’t believe in any such sin as prejudice, bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism, though frequently that hatred can be maladaptive because a more open attitude to out-groups is more in your best interest.

In some circumstances, openness to strangers is to your advantage. They might have information that keeps you alive. In other circumstances, suspicion of outsiders is more adaptive.

How much anti out-group sentiment you should allow depends upon the situation you are in.

There’s no commandment against any of these secular sins such as racism in my Jewish tradition. From my understanding of Judaism, you can feel whatever you want to feel about non-Jews, just so long as you act towards them justly. Judaism makes dramatic distinctions between how you must treat Jews and non-Jews.

What people today call racism and anti-Semitism and bigotry, I see as conflicts of interests. Different individuals, different groups, have different interests, and these often clash.

Christians hold that faith in Jesus Christ is the one true path to salvation. Why would any Christian nation want to invite in non-Christians to sew dissent, ridicule and unbelief? Why would a Jewish state want to invite in non-Jews to water down its Jewishness? Why would any Muslim state want to import non-Muslims who hate Islam? I don’t see such policies of exclusion as prejudice or bigotry. I see nations acting to maintain their cohesion.

I can’t think of any examples where a nation has been made stronger by diversity. It seems to me that diversity only makes a nation weaker. Every neighborhood, for instance, that becomes more diverse becomes less neighborly. People primarily care about their own.

When in the 13th Century the English nobles bribed King Edward I to expel all Jews from England, they may have made a good investment in the future of their progeny in that Jews, with their superior industry, tenacity and intelligence, were taking over the jobs that became synonymous with the Middle Class — accounting, banking, law, medicine, business, administration, etc. The primary reason that Western Europe developed such a strong Middle Class was that all its countries, at one time, expelled Jews, thus allowing the natives to develop a Middle Class. Eastern Europe didn’t expel its Jews. Hence Jews took over much of the administrative, saloon keeping, management, medicine, accounting, banking industries, out-competing the less intelligent, less industrious goyim.

Australia used to be 99% white (at the time of WWII). Now it is less than 90% white and more than 10% asian and the asians are forming Australia’s management class because they are, on average, more intelligent and more industrious than Australia’s goyim. Why would white Australia want to import groups that would displace it? It might make rational sense for white Australians to want to stop further Asian immigration and further control of Australia.

In a free economy, Jews are going to rise to the top and command much of the country’s wealth because they are smarter, more industrious and more cohesive, in general, than other groups. Asians will also rise in their skill set while whites will generally outdo blacks and latinos. Without welfare, many blacks and latinos will starve.

Say you have a black neighborhood and whites start moving in, that will diminish the cohesion and identity of that neighborhood. Blacks will say to themselves, “There goes the neighborhood!” I suspect that blacks in general have a blast being black and are happier among their own group.

Say you have a white neighborhood and blacks move in, that will hurt the cohesion of the white neighborhood. In general, blacks and whites behave differently and have different norms. Blacks have high crime rates, they’re more expressive, more aggressive, more out-spoken, more loud, more free with their emotions and more present-time oriented than comparatively awkward fearful hung-up future-oriented whites.

In comparison with Asians, whites have the black traits.

John Abbott reviews Albert S. Lindemann’s book Anti-Semitism Before the Holocaust:

What then of Lindemann’s “remedies” for antisemitism? In his view, the only reason for non-Jews to oppose Jew-hatred is that they might consider the presence of Jews beneficial (pp. 11, 102). This attempt to reduce the argument against antisemitism to a sliding cost-benefit scale seems both mechanistic and uncharitable. Might it also be that people, Jewish and gentile alike, find antisemitism repugnant precisely because it is a vicious lie? And that people oppose antisemites because they try to play the majority for fools even as they subject a minority to persecution?

I guess you can tell where I come down in these questions. To me, it makes sense that people will resent those, particularly those in out-groups, who interfere with their interests. And it does not take the majority of a group acting in a particular way to bring opprobrium to that group. Consider Muslims, for example. Only a tiny portion of Muslims are terrorists and yet Muslims as a group are hated because of Muslim terrorism. Likewise, only a minority of Jews were active communists, yet Jews as a group have been hated because certain Jews carried out Stalin’s genocides. As for Christians, Jews still speak negatively about Christians because of the behavior of a few Christians in the Crusades and the Inquisition hundreds of years ago.

Few Japanese in America prior to and during WWII were spies, and yet Japanese-Americans as a group were rightly and rationally held suspect as America had a war with Japan. Few Chinese in America are spies for China yet Chinese in America are rightly held in suspicion because of the behavior of a few. That’s how reality works. Groups experience group punishment for the deeds of a few.

Generally speaking, in-groups don’t particularly care for out-groups. Anglos are about the only race that does not make strong in-group vs out-group distinctions.

There is no universally superior group. Different groups are superior at different things. In other words, the different races adapted to their environment.

As for whether it is wrong to hate Jews or blacks, plenty of Jews hate fellow Jews and plenty of blacks hate fellow blacks. Among Jews, there is an enormous divide between the Orthodox and non-Orthodox. Among blacks, there is an enormous divide between the talented tenth, who live like whites, and the rest of blacks. Jews and blacks with right-wing views dislike Jews and blacks with left-wing views.

Sweden: Rape Capital of the West

Report:

Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300% and rapes by 1,472%. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa.

Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists. One should, however, keep in mind that in statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.

In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists, and have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted to have sex with six, seven or eight men.

The internet radio station Granskning Sverige called the mainstream newspapers Aftonposten and Expressen to ask why they had described the perpetrators as “Swedish men” when they actually were Somalis without Swedish citizenship. They were hugely offended when asked if they felt any responsibility to warn Swedish women to stay away from certain men. One journalist asked why that should be their responsibility.

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries. According to a survey from 2010, Sweden, with 53.2 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants, is surpassed only by tiny Lesotho in Southern Africa, with 91.6 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants.

Two Muslims Kill A German Medical Student

* Two Albanian Muslim twins, no schooling worth speaking of, repeat offenders, killed a German female medical student by reckless driving. They changed seats afterwards so the younger, under-aged could take the blame if needed, that being favorably legally. When police arrived they attacked them throwing a flame extinguisher, telling that they didn’t give a #uck. At court they topped that, dressing and grooming identically, which they hadn’t done before, so witnesses wouldn’t be able to tell them apart–a new twist likely advised by their lawyer. Both got suspended sentences as a result of a plea bargain. Even quality press found that to be a little odd, ultimately shrugging shoulders, of course.

Why Aren’t There More Female Directors?

Steve Sailer writes: “…when the New York Times runs articles demanding to know why aren’t there more successful women movie directors and screenwriters, one reason is because a promising writer-director, actress Adrienne Shelly, was murdered in 2006 at age 40, shortly after finishing her quite decent debut movie Waitress, by an illegal immigrant from Ecuador.”

According to Wikipedia: On November 1, 2006, Shelly was found dead in her Greenwich Village work studio. Although her death was initially thought a suicide, police later arrested a construction worker who confessed to murdering Shelly when she caught him robbing her apartment.

Steve Sailer: I Guess Jeb Bush Won’t be Speaking at Kathryn Steinle’s Funeral Either

Steve Sailer writes:

The AP article doesn’t seem to mention which country Sanchez had been deported to five times. Informing the public of that would be racist. Nor does it mention how he got into the United States in the first place, much less all those other times. Was he ever legally here? Why are you asking? Only Donald Trump or Ann Coulter would find anything relevant about that knowledge. Ignorance is smart.

Thomas Jefferson once said:

“Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.”

But now we get all the advantages of government and newspapers working together to keep the public from knowing information it shouldn’t know, so all those Jeffersonian quibbles are outdated. Besides, Jefferson owned slaves.

COMMENTS TO STEVE SAILER:

* The outrage over Trump’s comments is interesting to watch; I’ve seen no one actually try to refute his statement on the facts.

* Angelic face, warm eyes, in the absolute blossoming of life; all things we should be nurturing and protecting in these dark days. And instead, in our ignorance, we failed him.

* The camera crew will survive the revolution though.

They know not to point the camera at inappropriate news.

* I watched a little Fox News last night. Greta van Susteren played Trump’s recent remarks on Mexican illegal immigrants, then went to a panel with a journalist from the Wall Street Journal and one from the Washington Post. Now, one might imagine this would represent a conservative-liberal balance, but when it comes to open borders all right-thinking folks agree, so both denounced Trump with equal furor. Both insisted that everything Trump said was a lie when in fact everything he said was the truth. How is the typical low-information voter supposed to sort this out? Only those motivated to read Ann Coulter’s book or visit iSteve or VDare will have any idea what’s going on.

* Speaking of news stories where the interesting part is left out for the good of the public, how about the one from today where the tech press is acting like it’s a big mystery why the person in charge of booking Jesse Jackson for an ill-fated press conference got fired? Most of the questioners were hecklers who repeatedly used the word, “shakedown.”

The unreported interesting story is (almost certainly) about Jesse Jackson shaking down Reddit. When Reddit gave in by firing the person who booked Jesse at a the online press conference stocked with hecklers, the firing backfired. Jackson didn’t merely cut the off the nuts off of a community organizer who embarrassed Jackson, he got to cut the nuts off a whole community.

* Here’s the kicker, from the San Jose Mercury News: “So, Sanchez, who is a citizen of Mexico, was released on April 15.”

So on the day when Americans are required by law to pay our taxes (or else), the government which requires us to do so gave us the middle finger, by releasing this thug to live amongst us.

* Isn’t it interesting how one violent act is proof of the need to ban guns for everyone else, yet illegals murdering people should have no impact on our immigration policy?

* Trump’s comments threaten to poison the well for purportedly serious anti-immigration candidates such as Scott Walker or, most recently, Rick Santorum. It’s all about the tone and Trump’s clumsy Willie Horton style attack (sans a specific criminal and sans a specific politician’s action/inaction) will be seen straight through.

A false flag operation would have done exactly what Trump did. Now all anti-immigration Republican candidates will be presumed by the liberal and moderate masses to share Trump’s “racist” views and support for immigration restriction will be more taboo than it already was.

* Besides the obvious tragedy – and Shelley was a talented writer/director, as well as a beautiful and appealing actress – one annoying aspect of that story was that Shelley’s husband was a stereotypical Jewish leftist whose blog was filled with snarky rage directed at “Rethuglicans”, some of whom showed up at there trying unsuccessfully to convince him that illegal immigration was a bad thing, given what happened to his wife.

* A Hispanic landlord keeps illegal immigrants in a rat hole and uses them to work on his buildings. One, a nineteen year old illegal from Ecuador working in Shelley’s building beat her unconscious because she asks him to keep the noise down, then he pulls a sheet off the bed and uses it to hang her in her shower to fake a suicide, and fools the cops. It was only because the husband insisted that Ms Shelley would not have killed herself that the ‘investigators’ went back and noticed the killers dirty great trainer footprint on the toilet beside the shower that he got caught.

* …despite the fact that Trump has surged in the polls as a result of his blunt talk on immigration, no other Republican candidate will seek to emulate him, even in a more moderate manner. Instead, the lesson they will take is that you can’t say anything negative about Mexican immigration without arousing a firestorm of media
criticism, so don’t do it.

Furthermore, they’re all going to be terrified of being lumped in with Trump and so will distance themselves from him. When the mainstream media challenges them to denounce Trump, most will. They’ll be totally neutered.

I predict that the effect of Trump on this race will be that the Republican nominee will pander to Hispanics even more than usual. (If it’s Jeb Bush, that won’t be possible, of course.) At least he’ll have shown the other candidates up for the worms they are.

* I think some of the commenters here don’t grasp the political potency of this random killing.

It’s not just that this monster is the occasional violent sociopath that might be found in any population. It’s that he was deported 5 times, that he had multiple felonies on his record, that he had been asked to be detained, but that SF as a sanctuary city refused to do so. His case truly reveals the sort of evils the pro-illegal-immigrant policies and attitudes expose us to. How can such a person get into our country 6 times illegally? How can such a person, having entered our country 6 times illegally, and having committed multiple felonies, not even be detained when picked up?

On its merits, this case strikes me as at least as egregious as the Willie Horton case, and in certain respects maybe more so, because there are so many breakdowns in basic law enforcement that lay behind it, not just one foolish program.

I don’t see how any politician — not even one as carefully protected from criticism as Obama — can defend how this case was handled.

I really do wonder how Obama would respond to this case, and I doubt he’s going to be able to avoid being asked about it. Even if he says that it’s not his responsibility because it is SF that should have detained this creature, he risks blowback from the pro-immigration crowd who support the sanctuary idea and who also are core supporters of him.

* The media is a sniveling, shameless, herd of liars. Remember not that long ago when Arizona was a national pariah for its immigration laws (“Arizona! You got the rest of the Union, to help you along”) and Gov. Janet Brewer was mocked and ridiculed (repeatedly, in the same newspaper, just to rub it in) for claiming they’d found headless bodies in the dessert? Despite headless bodies in the desert being a well-known trademark of Mexican drug cartels, and drug cartel violence spiking around that time, and the whole point of Obama’s immigration policy being to erase any meaningful border between Arizona and northern Mexico.

“But you said said headless bodies in the ARIZONA dessert!”

And then headless bodies did turn up on our side of the border. And of course the media’s respectful, red-faced apologies to Gov. Brewer came pouring in… (crickets)

So what if Scott Walker makes a lucid, meticulously-cited case against illegal immigration, rides it to the White House, then actually musters the votes to pass it? What makes you think Blue State local governments won’t openly defy it (“sanctuary cities”), just like state university systems defied successfully passed anti-quota initiatives? What makes you think activists won’t window shop a Federal court to declare key provisions unconstitutional, making it inoperative for years while it’s appealed to the Supreme Court, which then throws it back down to the lower courts for a re-ruling on the most narrowly technical reason, after which it bangs around for even more years until finally a liberal + Kennedy court overturns it entirely (Sotomayor: “I just found a suppressed clause to the 14th Amendment- #FamilyValuesDontStopBorder” “But they didn’t even have Twitter in the 19th Century.” “Of course, they did! A recent Cornell Women’s Studies Dept. study shows Ada Lovelace…”)

I think Trump is smarter than any Republican Presidential candidate since at least Nixon- definitely more intelligent than either Bush brother. Crass, vulgar? What kind of America do you think we still live in, the one of the Lincoln-Douglas debates? And as someone mentioned, his mediagenic personality is likely to win more Hispanic (and maybe even black) votes than any thin-lipped, uptight white man, no matter how “family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande” on paper he is. And seriously, we cannot take back America unless we start taking back the culture, no matter how many elections we win, or how many Supreme Court seats we hold (something true conservatives should instantly realize). Trump has done more to break the politically correct, anti-white stranglehold on our national discourse in the last 2 weeks than any major Republican public figure has done in the last 20 years.

* Until Trump came along all the candidates were avoiding the issue including that prancing clown Walker who was caught several times showing his open borders bonafides. Of course he has to since he’s owned by the Koch brothers.

Trump’s not a firebrand either, except to the political and money classes. He’s saying what a lot of people don’t have the balls to say because of the threats by the MSM. Most of guys I used to work with were that forthright.

What’s happened in political discourse, it’s become so damn sanitized and watered down most candidates actually say nothing when you parse out what their talking points are. So people are used to politicians that are little more than a hot air blower and they freak out when someone speaks the truth and bursts their bubble.

He’s also smoking out all the Conservative phonies in the presidential race and in among the Wall Street crowd(which almost all of them). They aren’t conservatives at all.

The fact is most of the GOPers running are owned by mega-donors(like Adelson and Koch) and the Chambers of Commerce types. Both groups demand open borders.

And Trump is the only one talking about trade agreements that have wiped out millions of well paying jobs and will take even more once TPP is passed. All the other candidates are silent. So much for them caring about the country.

If one is a working or middle-class white guy, Trump is the only viable candidate. The others have a sugar coated chain saw waiting for you.

If you’re a professional of some sort, go support Jeb or Hillary, they’ll keep the status quo with a iron fist.

* Adrienne Shelly (born Adrienne Levine), the actress/writer murdered in her posh Greenwich Village apartment by the illegal Ecuadoran, didn’t realize that her life activities don’t automatically trump (no pun intended) those of some illegal. Violence is usually the first for these peoples. Welcome to the Third World. You’d better love violence and death. Watch some videos on Best Gore out of Guatemala or El Salvador or Mexico. Where they beat and burn to death a kid for stealing an iPhone as the crowd watches and cheers.

* In 2007. three black college students were lined up against a wall and shot execution style on a playground in Newark, New Jersey. Care to guess why it wasn’t a wall to wall weeks’ long story in the national media? Well the perps were three illegal “immigrants” from Peru.

Among them, one Jose Carranza, had been repeatedly arrested for violent and sexual crimes, and was released again and again. Carranza had actually been arraigned not long before for child molestation. His attorney asked for him to be released and the judge said “all right.” And he walked out of court.

Of this horror, the late Lawrence Auster wrote (http://www.amnation.com/vfr/archives/008560.html):

“It’s evident to me from this story that the judges and attorneys in the criminal justice system are alienated malcontents who deliberately or with depraved indifference unleash dangerous criminals onto society. As of yesterday the motive was not known. I mean of course the motive for the murders. The motive for Carranza’s repeated releases is known: hatred for society, sympathy for criminals and aliens, attitudes that are sacrilized and routinized within significant sectors of the judicial and government establishment. You can bet that this is one type of ‘criminals in their coats and ties’ that Bob Dylan will never sing a protest song about.”

* The media would gladly drop all discussion of this murder, but I don’t see that happening.

The other cases were too easily isolated from any political context to get much traction, if the media didn’t want to give them traction.

But Trump has, independent of this murder, already been propelled by the polls to second place behind Bush. My guess is that the murder and its implications, and Trump’s seizing upon it as he has, will push him even further up, and make him impossible to ignore for the media. But this murder showcases the exact problem he’s been talking about, and for which he has been ridiculed. He has every good political reason to push it as hard as he can.

And, really, it is such a bad case for the pro-illegal-immigrant side. It brings out everything bad about how such cases have been handled in our current environment.

My guess is that Trump will bring up this case in every discussion and debate of which he is a part. It’s not just going to go away. Other politicians will have to explain how their policies would have prevented such a thing, or explain how they will revise things so that they would. No politician can get away with saying, Oh, the system worked as it should — why revise it?

Stalin’s Willing Executioners

Here’s a particularly forlorn historical date: Almost 90 years ago, between the 19th and 20th of December 1917, in the midst of the Bolshevik revolution and civil war, Lenin signed a decree calling for the establishment of The All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and Sabotage, also known as Cheka.

Within a short period of time, Cheka became the largest and cruelest state security organization. Its organizational structure was changed every few years, as were its names: From Cheka to GPU, later to NKVD, and later to KGB.

We cannot know with certainty the number of deaths Cheka was responsible for in its various manifestations, but the number is surely at least 20 million, including victims of the forced collectivization, the hunger, large purges, expulsions, banishments, executions, and mass death at Gulags.

Whole population strata were eliminated: Independent farmers, ethnic minorities, members of the bourgeoisie, senior officers, intellectuals, artists, labor movement activists, “opposition members” who were defined completely randomly, and countless members of the Communist party itself.

In his new, highly praised book “The War of the World, “Historian Niall Ferguson writes that no revolution in the history of mankind devoured its children with the same unrestrained appetite as did the Soviet revolution. In his book on the Stalinist purges, Tel Aviv University’s Dr. Igal Halfin writes that Stalinist violence was unique in that it was directed internally.

Lenin, Stalin, and their successors could not have carried out their deeds without wide-scale cooperation of disciplined “terror officials,” cruel interrogators, snitches, executioners, guards, judges, perverts, and many bleeding hearts who were members of the progressive Western Left and were deceived by the Soviet regime of horror and even provided it with a kosher certificate.

All these things are well-known to some extent or another, even though the former Soviet Union’s archives have not yet been fully opened
to the public. But who knows about this? Within Russia itself, very few people have been brought to justice for their crimes in the NKVD’s and KGB’s service. The Russian public discourse today completely ignores the question of “How could it have happened to us?” As opposed to Eastern European nations, the Russians did not settle the score with their Stalinist past.

And us, the Jews? An Israeli student finishes high school without ever hearing the name “Genrikh Yagoda,” the greatest Jewish murderer of the 20th Century, the GPU’s deputy commander and the founder and commander of the NKVD. Yagoda diligently implemented Stalin’s collectivization orders and is responsible for the deaths of at least 10 million people. His Jewish deputies established and managed the Gulag system. After Stalin no longer viewed him favorably, Yagoda was demoted and executed, and was replaced as chief hangman in 1936 by Yezhov, the “bloodthirsty dwarf.”

Yezhov was not Jewish but was blessed with an active Jewish wife. In his Book “Stalin: Court of the Red Star”, Jewish historian Sebag Montefiore writes that during the darkest period of terror, when the Communist killing machine worked in full force, Stalin was surrounded by beautiful, young Jewish women.

Stalin’s close associates and loyalists included member of the Central Committee and Politburo Lazar Kaganovich. Montefiore characterizes him as the “first Stalinist” and adds that those starving to death in Ukraine, an unparalleled tragedy in the history of human kind aside from the Nazi horrors and Mao’s terror in China, did not move Kaganovich.

Many Jews sold their soul to the devil of the Communist revolution and have blood on their hands for eternity. We’ll mention just one more: Leonid Reichman, head of the NKVD’s special department and the organization’s chief interrogator, who was a particularly cruel sadist.

In 1934, according to published statistics, 38.5 percent of those holding the most senior posts in the Soviet security apparatuses were of Jewish origin. They too, of course, were gradually eliminated in the next purges. In a fascinating lecture at a Tel Aviv University convention this week, Dr. Halfin described the waves of soviet terror as a “carnival of mass murder,” “fantasy of purges”, and “essianism of evil.” Turns out that Jews too, when they become captivated by messianic ideology, can become great murderers, among the greatest known by modern history.

The Jews active in official communist terror apparatuses (In the Soviet Union and abroad) and who at times led them, did not do this, obviously, as Jews, but rather, as Stalinists, communists, and “Soviet people.” Therefore, we find it easy to ignore their origin and “play dumb”: What do we have to do with them? But let’s not forget them. My own view is different. I find it unacceptable that a person will be considered a member of the Jewish people when he does great things, but not considered part of our people when he does amazingly despicable things.

Even if we deny it, we cannot escape the Jewishness of “our hangmen,” who served the Red Terror with loyalty and dedication from its establishment. After all, others will always remind us of their origin.

Do Jews Control The Media?

What do you think of the phrase, “Jews control the media”? Here’s one Jew who says we should stop denying it and just embrace it and accept the responsibility that comes with great power.

July 12, 2012 “Times Of Israel” — We Jews are a funny breed. We love to brag about every Jewish actor. Sometimes we even pretend an actor is Jewish just because we like him enough that we think he deserves to be on our team. We brag about Jewish authors, Jewish politicians, Jewish directors. Every time someone mentions any movie or book or piece of art, we inevitably say something like, “Did you know that he was Jewish?” That’s just how we roll.

We’re a driven group, and not just in regards to the art world. We have, for example, AIPAC, which was essentially constructed just to drive agenda in Washington DC. And it succeeds admirably. And we brag about it. Again, it’s just what we do.

But the funny part is when any anti-Semite or anti-Israel person starts to spout stuff like, “The Jews control the media!” and “The Jews control Washington!”

Suddenly we’re up in arms. We create huge campaigns to take these people down. We do what we can to put them out of work. We publish articles. We’ve created entire organizations that exist just to tell everyone that the Jews don’t control nothin’. No, we don’t control the media, we don’t have any more sway in DC than anyone else. No, no, no, we swear: We’re just like everybody else!

Does anyone else (who’s not a bigot) see the irony of this?

Let’s be honest with ourselves, here, fellow Jews. We do control the media. We’ve got so many dudes up in the executive offices in all the big movie production companies it’s almost obscene. Just about every movie or TV show, whether it be “Tropic Thunder” or “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is rife with actors, directors, and writers who are Jewish. Did you know that all eight major film studios are run by Jews?

But that’s not all. We also control the ads that go on those TV shows.

And let’s not forget AIPAC, every anti-Semite’s favorite punching bag. We’re talking an organization that’s practically the equivalent of the Elders of Zion. I’ll never forget when I was involved in Israeli advocacy in college and being at one of the many AIPAC conventions. A man literally stood in front of us and told us that their whole goal was to only work with top-50 school graduate students because they would eventually be the people making changes in the government. Here I am, an idealistic little kid that goes to a bottom 50 school (ASU) who wants to do some grassroots advocacy, and these guys are literally talking about infiltrating the government. Intense.

Now, I know what everyone will say. That everyone tries to lobby. Every minority group and every majority group. That every group has some successful actors and directors. But that’s a far call from saying that we run Hollywood and Madison Avenue. That the Mel Gibsons of the world are right in saying we’re deliberately using our power to take over the world. That we’ve got some crazy conspiracy going down.

Okay. Fine. So some of that is kooky talk.

But let’s look at it a bit deeper.

Maybe it’s true: everyone lobbies. Maybe it’s true there are actors of every ethnicity out there. But come on. We’re the ones who are bragging about this stuff all the time. Can’t we admit that we’re incredibly successful? Can’t we say it to the world?

I’ll give my theory for why Jews don’t want to talk about their control of the media.

First of all, as much as Jews like to admit that so many of them are successful, and that so many of them have accomplished so much, they hate to admit that it has to do with they’re being Jewish. Maybe they’ll admit that it has something to do with the Jewish experience. But how many Jews will admit that there is something inherently a part of every single one of them that helps them to accomplish amazing things?

The ADL chairman, Abe Foxman, was interviewed in a great article about the subject and he said that he “would prefer people say that many executives in the industry ‘happen to be Jewish.’” This just about sums up the party line.

The truth is, the anti-Semites got it right. We Jews have something planted in each one of us that makes us completely different from every group in the world. We’re talking about a group of people that just got put in death camps, endured pogroms, their whole families decimated. And then they came to America, the one place that ever really let them have as much power as they wanted, and suddenly they’re taking over. Please don’t tell me that any other group in the world has ever done that. Only the Jews. And we’ve done it before. That’s why the Jews were enslaved in Egypt. We were too successful. Go look at the Torah — it’s right there. And we did it in Germany too.

This ability to succeed, this inner drive, comes not from the years of education or any other sort of conditional factors, but because of the inner spark within each Jew.

Now, the reason groups like the ADL and AIPAC hate admitting this is because, first of all, they are secular organizations. Their whole agenda is to prove that every Jew is the same as every other person in the world. I cannot imagine a more outlandish agenda. No, we’re different. We’re special.

Of course, people hate when anyone says this. They assume that if you’re saying that Jews are special, it somehow implies that they’re better.

To be honest, I’m not really sure what the word “better” even means. What I do know is that being special simply means a person has a responsibility to do good.

I think that’s the real reason most Jews are so afraid to admit that there’s something inherently powerful and good about them. Not because they’re afraid of being special. But because they’re afraid of being responsible. It means that they’re suddenly culpable when they create dirty TV shows that sully the spiritual atmosphere of the world. It means that things can’t just be created for the sake of amusement or fun or even “art.”

Suddenly, we can’t screw up the world.

The interesting thing is that Jews have done so much for the world in so many other ways. They’ve moved forward civil rights; they’ve helped save lives in Darfur, Haiti and just about everywhere else.

But that’s not enough. Fixing the world physically is only half the battle.

Our larger battle, the harder battle, is elevating the world spiritually. And this is what the people that fight with every inch of their soul to prove that Jews are just the same as everyone else are afraid of. It means that we can no longer just “express ourselves.” We’ll have to start thinking about the things we create and the way we act. It means we’ll have to start working together. It means we’ll have to hold one other, and ourselves, to a higher standard.

The time has come, though. We no longer have to change our names. We no longer have to blend in like chameleons. We own a whole freaking country.

Instead, we can be proud of who we are, and simultaneously aware of our huge responsibility — and opportunity.

How Do Jews Feel About Non-Jews?

How about in the spirit of mutual understanding and respectful dialogue, we start surveying Jews for their attitudes towards non-Jews? Are there such surveys? Why don’t the goyim have their own anti-defamation league?

I appreciate the ADL’s survey of attitudes towards Jews in 100 countries. Why not something similar about Jews views of the goyim?

Let me answer some revealing questions about Hasidic Judaism. Does it withhold a broad education from their children in order to keep the children narrow-minded and uneducated? Yes. Does it vilify the outside world in order to keep its members from joining it? Definitely. Does it have a fear and/or doomsday element to it? Of course. Is there ex-communication for those who dare to leave? Oh yeah.
I still have not received anything past a 5th grade education. In fact, since I never attended a regular school, I don’t actually know what a 5th grade education is — I just picked a grade that seemed right. I don’t know what algebra is; I know I can Google it but I wasn’t made to care enough to do so.
For most of my life, I believed that all non-Jews hate us and want to kill us. I believed that all goyim are murderers, rapists, degenerates and dirty second-class citizens. Of course, they/we aren’t but I was taught that in order to make the secular lifestyle less appealing. I was told horrible things would happen to me in this world and the “next world” if I leave. I was told I would end up a criminal or drug addict. Many members of my family refuse to speak to me to this day.
I have had to transition both out of Hasidism and transition into mainstream culture. I have had to find a replacement for the void left by the lack of community and warmth. I had to replace my family, my friends and my moral compass. It was hard leaving everything behind but it was even harder to find something to replace it all with.

Anti-Semitism Before the Holocaust

I confess that in my first 20 years as a Jew, I vastly preferred books that blamed anti-Semitism 100% on the goyim.

As I have aged, however, I have come to see anti-Semitism as the natural result of conflicts of interest between groups.

I’m not a historian, but it seems to me that history suggests that the fortunes of Judaism and Christianity are usually inverse. For instance, Judaism was stronger than Judaism in the first two centuries of the Common Era, and then Christianity rose in strength and Judaism declined. The biggest discrepancy in power and influence between the two religions was probably the 17th Century in Europe.

Judaism has never dealt successfully with the Enlightenment. Christianity has had an easier time of it. Islam rejects the Enlightenment and has failed to produce a single country that is prosperous and free.

When there’s free competition, Jews (Ashkenazim have an average IQ around 110) always out-compete, out-earn and out-influence white Christians (average IQ of 100) who always out-do Muslims (average IQ around 85).

Albert S. Lindemann writes:
