Father of Woman Killed by Illegal Immigrant in San Francisco Shares Her Heartbreaking Last Words

From TheBlaze.com:

“Help me, dad.”

Those are the last words Jim Steinle said he heard from his daughter Kate before police say she was fatally shot by Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an illegal immigrant who had already been deported several times.

“Suddenly, a shot rang out, Kate fell and looked up at me and said, ‘Help me, dad,’” Steinle said in an emotional testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday. “Those were the last words I will ever hear from my daughter.”

Steinle described his daughter as “a good citizen of the United States of America” who loved to travel the world.

“Unfortunately due to disjointed laws and basic incompetence on many levels, the U.S. has suffered a self-inflicted wound in the murder of our daughter by the hand of a person that should have never been on the streets of this country,” Steinle said.

Steinle, who is advocating for immigration reform, said it’s “unbelievable” that so many Americans have died at the hands of undocumented immigrants.

“We’d be proud to see Kate’s name associated with some of this new legislation,” he said. “We feel if Kate’s law saves one daughter, one son, a mother, a father, Kate’s death won’t be in vain.”

Kate’s brother, Brad Steinle, also slammed San Francisco’s sanctuary policies during an interview with Fox News last week.

Kate was 32-years-old when she died.

Who is responsible for the illegal immigrant crime wave? Many parties, but the Jewish establishment in America certainly holds a large part of the blood guilt. The blood of Kate Steinle falls on Jewish immigration activists.

Jewish values at heart of immigration reform
by Rachel Heller Zaimont
Posted on Feb. 12, 2014 at 11:31 am

Last May, an unusual delegation arrived at the State Capitol building in Sacramento: a contingent of some 50 Reform Jews, clergy and lay leaders, hailing from congregations across California. They had come to campaign for the Trust Act, a bill designed to limit deportations of undocumented immigrants in the state. A few months after their visit, Gov. Jerry Brown would sign the Trust Act into law as part of a sweeping October push for immigration reform. But that wasn’t assured at the time.
The bill had just passed through the California Assembly and was primed for review by the State Senate during the summer. Questions swirled: Were enough senators on board to vote in its favor? Was the language strong enough? Brown had vetoed a previous version of the Trust Act in 2012 — was this edition something he would sign?
Rabbi Larry Raphael, of Congregation Sherith Israel, and several other San Francisco rabbis stood in a corridor discussing these concerns with an aide to state Sen. Mark Leno (D-San Francisco), when an assemblyman walked by. He noticed the kippot worn by a few in the group and caught the drift of their conversation. “You’re here about the Trust Act?” the assemblyman asked. The clergy confirmed.
“Is immigration a Jewish issue?” he pressed skeptically.
Raphael answered, “We believe it is.”
It was a moment of affirmation in a historic campaign that united more than 1,000 Reform Jews throughout California in political advocacy for the better part of 2013. The Jewish campaign for the Trust Act coalesced under the banner of Reform CA, a new statewide initiative of the Reform movement aiming to reinvigorate social justice in synagogues and connect those small-scale pockets of energy to spur large-scale political change. The initiative’s first year was marked by trial and error, perseverance and ultimate triumph — along with unprecedented collaboration between congregations and clergy on what some might consider an unlikely Jewish cause.
The Trust Act, which took effect Jan. 1, prohibits local law enforcement from holding undocumented immigrants for deportation in California unless they have committed a serious felony. Previously, those who had committed minor offenses could be detained for deportation, leading to a strained relationship with authorities in immigrant communities and the separation of parents from children with legal status.
“This wasn’t an obvious issue,” said Rabbi Stephanie Kolin, co-director of Just Congregations, the community-organizing arm of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and lead organizer of Reform CA. “But we share this state. We will partner with our brothers and sisters across lines of race, class and faith to address the pain that we all share when this system is so broken.”
The seeds for this partnership were planted when Kolin moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to open the West Coast office of Just Congregations. She began working with synagogues across the Southland to help them kick-start social action programs, tackling local issues of injustice on a grass-roots level. But she found that many Southern California rabbis had an appetite to make bigger change than they could muster individually. And she started to understand the power of a crucial idea: “Together,” she said, “we are more powerful than we are when we stand alone.”
…For some rabbis and congregants, the issue was more immediate. Bruce Corwin, chairman and CEO of Metropolitan Theatres Corp. and a member of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, said he has had employees rounded up and deported during ICE raids. “They’re just scared to death,” Corwin said. “A lot of parents have been separated from their families. It’s a terrible thing that happens in this country.”

…On Tisha B’Av, a holiday of typically low attendance in Reform congregations, about 100 members from 10 Los Angeles synagogues gathered at Leo Baeck’s outdoor chapel to hear a teaching on how the destruction of the Temple mirrors the destruction of what is sacred to immigrants today. HUC-JIR professor Rabbi Lewis Barth challenged attendees to ponder: If they — of influence and sway — don’t access justice for their community, how can those on the fringes of society do so?

During the High Holy Days, dozens of rabbis across the state preached about immigration reform in their sermons, asking congregants to call the governor’s office to urge him to sign the bill. Simonds reminded University Synagogue’s young professionals’ group that Jews have felt the hand of oppression, and they now had the power to transform it into a hand of welcome. A number of congregants took out their phones right there and wrote notes to call Brown’s office, he said.

…At Leo Baeck, Rabbi Ken Chasen’s preaching led to another unexpected windfall. The day after Rosh Hashanah, an influential congregant set up a personal phone call between Chasen and the governor. Chasen told Brown that during the High Holy Days, when sermons usually take on worldly issues, Reform rabbis across California were making immigration their focus. “They weren’t mobilizing around speaking about Israel, or Iran,” Chasen said. “What was speaking to them was this issue of immigration within our state. This issue was deeply embedded within the hearts and souls of Jewish Californians.”
Brown told Chasen he hadn’t realized immigration was so important to Jewish constituents and thanked him for the call.
“When you start on a campaign of this sort, you just don’t know which is the moment that might lead to the greatest amount of access, the greatest amount of power, the greatest amount of influence,” Chasen said. “The narrative that unfolded was one that we could never have predicted.”

Nothing in the Jewish Journal article questions whether this support for illegal immigration is a good idea, but the commenters do:

* So it’s all your fault! Darn, I think I need to turn into a jew hater now.

* Israel has become deportation central with a fence system that jewish, including rabbis, won’t allow us to have. We should apply the Israeli model on immigration.

* Why do all these `holy` jews support deportations and walls for Israel but not the US? These jews are all anti American hypocrites.

* Deportation is an important part of enforcement of immigration laws. If illegal immigrants are allowed to remain in the USA and government relies on self deportation it sends the message that illegal immigration is ok. Illegal immigration is not ok and contrary to Jewish values. Illegal immigration devalues labor in an already extremely bad environment where most Americans are living hand to mouth or worse. The Torah and Talmud call for a society where work allows people to have a decent life. By flooding the job market even more with illegal immigrants both illegal workers and illegal immigrants are led to work in abysmal conditions.

* Kol hakavod to these Reform Jews.

The verse that occurs most often in the Torah (36 times) is some variation of, be kind to the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

* But where in the Torah does it talk about deportations? The is a difference between being kind to a stranger and not having law. Immigration laws protect working people–immigrants and natives alike–how is it kind to anyone except exploiting businesses to allow illegal immigrants to stay in this economy only to drive the labor market further down when most Americans are living hand to mouth or worse. Both Torah and Talmud support a having a labor market where people can live decently. Allowing illegal immigrants to stay in this economy is against this value.

Jews & Immigration

David emails: Your blog is one of the must-reads on my RSS feed.

I am Jewish and I am horrified by the American Jewish establishment’s open embrace of a policy of unrestricted invasion of our country (and, indeed, all Western countries) by an unassimilable horde of third-worlders. It occurred to me that one reason for Jewish enthusiasm for open borders (except in Israel) has to do with the memory of the world’s unwillingness to accept Jewish refugees from Europe in the 1930s. Perhaps, they think, if a norm of free migration of refugees is established, then Jews will never need to worry about this situation repeating itself, even if Israel no longer exists. What these fools don’t understand is that 1) the third world invaders will change their host countries so as to be less welcoming to others (cf the Muslim world’s lack of interest in helping their fleeing co-religionists), and 2) the rules are ALWAYS different for Jews — even if free immigration becomes the norm, there will always be an exception made for Jews.

It aggravates me off to no end that although Jewish people have largely thrived in the West, and have enjoyed the goodwill of the Christian majority, they do their best to destroy those demographic conditions which have allowed them and their Christian countrymen to thrive, and then piss all over the Christian majority’s culture, to boot.

How Do You Measure Illegal Aliens?

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* Water consumption would be a useful tool to guesstimate total population in a given area over a given period of time as one could exclude new water hookups from the data to see if usage/per meter had increased but that also depends on other factors, e.g., upkeep of the property. In California where water rates are higher things like leaky toilets might be fixed regularly but in other areas of the country property owners maybe less likely to make repairs especially where apartment buildings do not have individual meters. Obviously conservation efforts would skew the data as well.

An relevant anecdote. I used to live and work in San Rafael, California. The local college biology department decided to study local water runoff going into the San Francisco Bay. They were getting high e-coli readings inconsistent with their expectations. They began eliminating sources like the local animal shelter and found the high e-coli levels were coming from a creek that ran through some woods and marsh area near downtown . This also happened to be an area where day laborers congregated and had built camps back in the woods. The contamination was from human feces being deposited or washed into the creek and marsh!

In San Diego around this same time frame ( late 80′s) local residents there were reporting illegals living in holes they had dug in the surrounding hillsides. This kind of substandard existence would just not show up on any Pew survey.

* Clever thinking, but you’d have to measure the actual volume of solid waste rather than the total amount of wastewater because low-flow toilets and shower heads have considerably reduced per capita water consumption since the 1990s.

Also, quite a few recent immigrants are from areas where toilet paper isn’t typically used, such as some Muslim countries. It’s tough to say how quickly people’s bottom-wiping habits will assimilate to traditional American norms.

* Perhaps looking at the incidence of measles is the best way to figure out the growth of the illegal alien population. Essentially, no illegal alien is inoculated for measles. Many are carriers. The CDC graph is scary. It suggests that during the Obama Administration the Camp of the Saints has gotten well underway.

* I recently heard a funny story from a coworker who was called in to do water damage restoration in a house that was inhabited by a bunch of foreigners – can’t remember the country, I think it was an African one. Anyway, after investigating the damage and questioning the residents (multiple single males), he determined that they had been shitting in the shower and peeling their vegetables into the toilet, causing all sorts of drainage issues as you can imagine.

* When you have twenty or more cars registered to one single-wide trailer it’s a clue. Solid waste is a clue although some immigrant groups are more used to a casual approach than others (we had to go to the general contractor to make his Guatemalans quit pissing in the corner of the foundation and shitting into the crockpot they brought for their lunch one day. There was two porta-johns thirty feet away but they didn’t want to go into the rain).

My town has an official pop of around 3000. The State Troopers run an unofficial estimate of about 3500 more illegals. More than doubling the official estimate. Now we do have some benefits from that. A murder rate that rivals Chicago. Before they moved here I only knew of people killed through my work. Now I personally have known five murder victims in 10 years. Some are unsolved or classified as ‘suicides’. Other murderers are simply deported. We have what one ER doctor described to me as ‘a DNA nightmare’ regarding the gang rapes where twenty or more take turns at a girl. We have gangs chasing people down the street with machetes.

I personally know they register to vote because they tell me so and at my work with DSHS you are required to ask if they want to regardless of their immigration status you can be fired for not doing so and you take their word for it. There is no mechanism to challenge it even if you know they are illegal. Again you will be fired. Our state knows which way these illegals vote and know how to use and absentee ballot.

We’ve lost several grocery stores but we have two spanking new Mexican groceries where for the right price (and if you know the owner) you can get illegal dairy and meat products like bad cheese and road kill deer sold as ‘goat’ or actual goat as well. Businesses have closed all up and down main street including two book stores, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing stores, and a jewelery shop but now we have a bigger food bank and thrift store attached. The lines stream out the door and down the street when they are distributing food. Plus we have many more dumpster divers.

Neighborhoods have gone from open doors and keys in your car to locked gates and fences. Our white trash meth cookers keep rotti pit mixes to keep the illegals from jacking their stuff at night so where once the loudest sound at night was a guy bringing his truck home from work we get big dogs barking.

Now the ones we get tend to be gang members or thieves so there’s not as much competition for day labor. Guys that used to work at one of the grocery stores, restaurants etc will mow your lawn for ten bucks including the gas to run your mower. They sold their mower they would have pawned stuff first but illegals and tweakers kept breaking into the pawn shop but they were never prosecuted because there was so many other crimes they could feed the police they were always let go. I could go on all day.

The benefits of illegals are endless.

The Post Divorce David Brooks Turn To Feel Good Oprahism

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* Brooks’s basic template is always ethnonationism for Israel, multi-culti for everyone else. More immigrants for the US helps break down the WASP establishment, which long ago was kind of skeptical about what Israel would do for American national interests. But it’s trickier now: many to the new immigrants don’t fall into line behind Jewish leadership either. The Iran deal was facilitated by a new Iranian-American group full of smart, politically engaged, young people. Pro-Palestinian activism on campus has the kids of refugees at its core. On the other hand, more immigrants means more canon fodder for American wars in Iraq, Iran, etc. I think that overall, continued mass immigration will lead to a foreign policy less pleasing to Brooks, but it’s a close call.

* Brooks: nationalism for me, anti-nationalism for everyone else.

* Steve, in recent years, has tried consistently to convince this sort of Jew to…rethink the matter. In principle a good idea, but I haven’t seen any evidence it’ll work.

* I’ve been really surprised at the nature of the war the Republicans have fought against Trump. Rich Lowry said Fiorina sliced his balls off, and then spent a day or so pretending to be butch in a Twitter “war” with Trump and his followers, cackling that this was the way to get Trump. It was weird. They don’t seem to realize Trump’s partly playing a game.

And then big talk now is that Trump is stalling. Really? Meanwhile, four days of excoriating Carson for his comment on Muslims didn’t seem to hurt his numbers.

It’s a weird, exciting, cycle.

As I wrote in my education policy series, I find it very revealing that the rest of the GOP candidates don’t–can’t, presumably–jump on the Trump bandwagon. They can’t adopt his message, because the elites won’t have it. I remain concerned that he’s going to be shut down, and all this talk will go away. But the really interesting thing, to me, is why. Why is there absolutely no real interest in shutting the borders?

These are rhetorical, existential questions, commentariat, so please don’t annoy me with answers. I understand the usual suspects, and worry about them myself. The real question is how long the American people will tolerate it.

* If I didn’t know any better, just from reading this Brooks column, I would walk away from it thinking that concepts like “American exceptionalism,” “American dream” and “conservatism” are meaningless trope at best and anti-white universalist weapons at worst, and therefore the obvious conclusion is that these concepts should be jettisoned.

The Glories Of Japan’s Slow Growth

Comments:

* It’s about “Who, whom?” as usual.

Foreign investors i.e. American hedge funds, banks, etc. don’t like Japan because Japan’s real estate and financial markets have been flat. That’s what’s meant by “lost decade”. It’s not that it’s been that bad for ordinary Japanese, what’s been “lost” is the opportunity for these foreign investors to make capital gains and extract more money out of Japan for themselves.

What the foreign investors wanted was for Japan to sell its people out and gin up its real estate and financial markets by things like immigration population growth.

A flat, low real estate and financial market is not necessarily a bad thing for your ordinary citizens. It keeps the costs down for your ordinary citizens to buy.

This applies not only between foreign investors and ordinary Japanese, but also between Wall St. and ordinary American citizens in fly-over country.

* Japan, like Finland, is a great counter-argument against people who claim the only way to have a competitive high-tech economy is to throw open the floodgates of 3rd world immigration (also against people who claim that it’s impossible for high-wage countries to maintain a manufacturing base). In the long term a smaller population will probably be good for Japan once they get over the demographic hump, resulting in more affordable real estate, less crowding, and higher wages. I give them credit for wanting to preserve their culture and ignoring the many commentators who have called for them to combat their declining population by importing a servant class from southeast Asia into an already overcrowded island.

Another important statistic the article didn’t mention: Japanese cities are light-years safer and cleaner than American ones. The comparison of the Japanese reaction to Fukushima and the American reaction to Hurricane Katrina remains instructive.

What Kind Of Women Cheat?

Study: Women who wear the pants in the relationship are more likely to cheat:

The imbalance of power in the primary relationship has been associated with infidelity. Edwards and Booth (1976) found that wives who reported that they “get their way” more often during disagreements were also more likely to have extramarital sexual involvements.

2) An imbalance in education increases the chance of cheating:

…in a large U.S. national study of dating, cohabiting, and married women, Forste and Tanfer (1996) found that women who were more educated than their husbands were more likely to engage in sexual infidelity; but if the husband was more educated than the wife, she was less likely to philander. Level of education relative to that of the partner appears to be more important than absolute level of education.

3) Jobs have a lot to do with whether people have an affair:

Individuals who work outside the home while their partners remain in the home also express higher rates of extramarital sexual involvement (Atkins et al., 2001), perhaps because the work environment provides the opportunity and time to get to know coworkers (Treas & Giesen, 2000). In clinical samples, 46% to 62% of individuals reported that they met their extramarital sexual partner at work (Glass, 2003; Wiggins & Lederer, 1984). The likelihood of extramarital involvement is also related to the degree to which an individual’s job involves touching clients, discussing personal concerns with colleagues or clients, or working alone with co-workers (Treas & Giesen, 2000).

* 4) The timing of infidelity is predictable:

Among married women, the likelihood of extramarital involvement peaks in the seventh year of marriage, then declines; but among married men, the likelihood of extramarital involvement decreases over time until the eighteenth year of matrimony, after which the likelihood of extramarital involvement increases (Liu, 2000). Similarly, in a sample of couples in therapy for infidelity, sexual infidelity first occurred after an average of seven years of marriage (Wiggins & Lederer, 1984). Lawson and Samson (1988) reported, however, that the length of marriage prior to initial sexual infidelity is decreasing with younger cohorts. Certain developmental stages in a marriage, including pregnancy and the months following the birth of a child, are also high risk times for infidelity among males (Allen & Baucom, 2001; Brown, 1991; Whisman et al., 2007).

* So, to recap, here is what you need to know to prevent your woman from cheating on you:

1. Learn game and become the alpha male that women need.

2. Do not allow your woman to wear the pants, unless it is in relation to some trivial point of contention that you let her win to demonstrate your big-heartedness.

3. Be more educated than your woman.

4. Do not, under any circumstances, spend time as a stay-at-home dad.

5. If your wife works, make sure it is in an occupation requiring little travel, where she will be confined to a sterile office surrounded by women and beta males. Any job where a massage table is involved is an example of a job you don’t want her to have.

6. Act a little more asshole-ish and unpredictable when your marriage approaches the seven year mark. Or when she’s approaching her monthly ovulation.

7. Failing all of the above, cheat first. She will smell it on you, and her love will grow in proportion to her fear of losing you.

* This is a revelation about the female mind that escapes the logical thinking of so many men — why would a woman want to be with a man like Cashmoney? Why would any woman willingly offer herself as a rentable hole to a man hawking her goods to streetside bidders? Because women want to submit to a powerful man. Whether that power comes in the form of a crooning emo rock star, a CEO, or a pimp daddy with fists of fury doesn’t matter. All that matters is the male power, and the tingly feeling of submitting – wholly, completely – to that power. Every woman, deep DEEP inside, wants to be “daddy’s little girl”.

What About America’s Security?

Link: Barack Obama, June 4, 2008 (via Mangan’s):

Now let me be clear. Israel’s security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable.

. . .

Any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel’s identity as a jewish state, with secure, recognized, defensible borders.

Barack Obama, January 6, 2012:

Illegal immigrants closely related to U.S. citizens would no longer have to leave the country to try to obtain legal status under a proposed change in immigration policy announced Friday by President Barack Obama’s administration.

The change, which would greatly reduce the amount of time U.S. citizens are separated from undocumented family members seeking legal status, is the latest attempt by the Obama administration to use its authority to implement some immigration reforms without congressional approval.

It makes one wonder. Are the American elite ignorant of their hypocrisy and double standards, or is it that they just don’t give a shit?

Women Who Can’t Compete

From the Chateau: Women who can’t compete with the most desired women, or who fall tantalizingly short of competing, or who once competed by now no longer do, must get some kind of deep, ego-sparing emotional satisfaction by telling themselves blatant lies about the reality of female attractiveness and male attraction standards. If women didn’t have an IQ-lowering herd mentality and an obesity epidemic disfiguring the majority of them that prompted them to sing amens in unison every time a femborg shrieked out another reality-denying whopper, we’d hear far less of this crap blaring from all our media channels. Loser chicks would go back to licking their ego wounds the old-fashioned way — by taking up poetry and staring pensively out a bedroom window.

So, for the short bus regulars (this includes you, ♥Vanessa)…

Beauty is objectively measurable. Slender women are more attractive than fat women to the overwhelming majority of men. There was never a time when men liked fat women. A 0.7 waist-to-hip ratio is the most attractive body shape for a woman. A BMI of 20.85 is the most attractive weight for a woman. A young, healthy woman with clear skin is more attractive than an old, unhealthy woman with blotchy skin. Yes, ♥Vanessa, there is a sexual marketplace, women are just as much a commodity to be bartered in this marketplace as men are, there is no alternative to this reality, and there IS a wrong way to have a body.

Hope this hurts.
