Listening to Donald Trump, you’d think he’s running for president of the United States and that the welfare of Americans was his primary concern.

It’s really strange that Donald Trump isn’t all caught up in Israel’s security. I thought that was priority number one for American politicians.

Most Americans don’t care much about Israel. Strangely enough, they care mainly about America.

Politico: In a break with standard Republican rhetoric on a politically charged foreign policy issue, Donald Trump insisted at Thursday’s debate that he would not take “sides” in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, drawing attacks from his rivals and even a charge that his position was “anti-Israel.”
“It’s probably the toughest negotiation anywhere in the world of any kind,” Trump said when asked about his recent comment that he would be a “neutral” broker between Israel and the Palestinians. “But it doesn’t help if I start saying, ‘I am very pro-Israel, very pro, more than anybody on this stage.’ ” Trump added.

WP: Mein Kampf Now A Bestseller In Germany

One useful perspective here is naturalism. What is natural? What happens in the state of nature? Often what is natural is for individuals and groups to pursue their interests at the cost of the well-being of other individuals and groups. For example, what is good for Jews is not always good for other groups. What is good for Germany nationalism is not always good for other groups.

Mein Kampf is not some beyond-human-reason document. It fits squarely within the literary tradition of us vs. them. If Germany had been led by another leader in the 1930s, it would have had the same incentives to go to war to conquer Western Europe and the Soviet Union. In both world wars, Germany came very close to winning. Germany was constituted to win quickly. The longer its wars dragged on, the more it was at a disadvantage.

The same incentives that led Germany and Japan into war in the 20th Century have operated similarly on other countries throughout history.

On the other hand, there would not have been a Holocaust if Germany had a different leader during WWII.

Washington Post:

Today’s right-wing movements, which include the Alternative für Deutschland party, whose leadership recently advocated for shooting refugees at the German border to stop them from entering the country, have so far refrained from using Hitler’s brutal ideology to justify their contemporary goals.

Every nationalism contains a victimology and the capacity for genocide. Mein Kampf’s ideology is not unique in these respects. The Torah of the Jews for instance says that God commanded Israel to commit genocide against the native inhabitants of Canaan (Amalek). Amalek is the eternal enemy of the Jews and Jews have often used the term “Amalek” to designate modern enemies such as the Nazis and the Palestinians. From an Amalekite perspective, aka the enemy of the Jews perspective, the Torah is akin to how Jews view Mein Kampf. It’s all who gores whom. Unless you are a religious believer, there is no righteous group and there is no fairness, there is only group and individual conflict over scarce resources. One man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist.

Most Israelis, for instance, wish that all Palestinians disappear. Arabs and Muslim certainly wish for the Jewish state to disappear. Every group of people has enemies. Us versus them is a natural ordering principle. It is not unique to Hitler and the Nazis.

When Jews identify as a separate people but live in gentile lands, they are placing themselves in danger because nobody likes a stranger, not even the angels (Mark Twain).

The Torah makes no provision for non-Jewish citizenship in the Jewish state of Israel and no gentile is to be in a leadership position there, not even over water carriers (Maimonides).

What Makes A Team Productive?

People prefer to work with other people who are like them. Homogeneous teams are going to be more productive. Not mentioned in the article. Too commonsensical and boring. The narrative must be maintained at all costs.

Will They Stop Trump By Any Means Necessary?

Chaim Amalek: If you REALLY believe that a zygote is equivalent to a 9 month old fetus and to a three year old child, then murdering abortion providers becomes not only justifiable but a moral imperative. Similarly, if you declare Trump to be the second coming of Adolf Hitler and you REALLY believe your own words, then assassinating Trump becomes not only justifiable but a moral imperative. And that is the direction that the Globalists who have been running America for decades are now running towards. Stop Trump by whatever means prove necessary, including murder.

Bronx Rabbi Who Had Sauna Chats Is Stepping Down

New York Times:

The prominent senior rabbi of a Bronx synagogue who drew scrutiny for naked sauna chats with boys as young as 12 is stepping down.

The rabbi, Jonathan Rosenblatt, had fought hard to keep his job at Riverdale Jewish Center in the wake of an article in The New York Times last May describing the sauna sessions, and many congregants rallied to his defense.

But hundreds of other members quit in anger over Rabbi Rosenblatt’s conduct and the synagogue leadership’s tolerance of it and formed a breakaway congregation.

And Wednesday night, the synagogue’s president emailed members to say that the rabbi “intends to step aside from the Senior Rabbinate” of the Jewish center, a Modern Orthodox congregation in the affluent neighborhood of Riverdale.

Will Hillary Clinton Win The Adelson Primary?

From Mondoweiss: Yesterday’s Republican caucuses in Nevada came and went with no declaration from the state’s most famous political resident, Sheldon Adelson. The media say he is taking a pass on the Republican field for now. Politico says that he has declined overtures from anti-Trump forces– even though “he distrusts Trump’s commitment to Israel’s defenses, which is the mogul’s animating issue.”

Which raises the question: Why shouldn’t Sheldon Adelson go to Hillary Clinton? Why shouldn’t he be pleased as punch by Hillary Clinton and quietly building his bridges to her?

Adelson has to fear Trump greatly since Trump does not need his money. Trump is the least Israel-friendly in the entire Republican field, and he’s the frontrunner. Adelson has to like everything Hillary Clinton says about Israel, so why do anything to defeat her?

Clinton is the biggest Israel lover in the race right now, right next to Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. She has promised to take the Israel relationship “to the next level,” has bragged that she was born within months of Israel, she has promised to fight Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) and work with Republicans to do so. She has also promised to invite Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House in the first month of office. In her latest book, she kisses up to Dennis Ross, the leading policy advocate for Israel who works in both Republican and Democratic administrations, no problem; and Ross’s latest book is a giant shill job for Hillary Clinton not liking Obama’s policy on Israel.

Sheldon Adelson has to love all of that. Helping her out financially will only solidify her support for Israel. As Bernie Sanders says, those billionaires don’t give their money for nothing!

The Clintons have always excelled at triangulation, and this is a golden opportunity. We’re bound to see that triangulation if Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic nomination. She will instantly try to buy off the Sanders forces and move to the right. For instance, she could even reach out and get a middle-of-the-road Republican running mate, so as to form a new coalition. Adelson would be behind her all the way. There are rumors today that Mike Bloomberg is offering himself to Hillary Clinton as a running mate. Sheldon Adelson can’t have any real problem with Bloomberg either.

Clinton’s triangulation to Adelson should begin quietly right now. She surely thinks that Marco Rubio will be more difficult to beat than Donald Trump. Clinton’s game right now is to hope that Adelson doesn’t jump in for Rubio in a big way, thereby maybe upending Trump. Hillary Clinton should be sending a quiet message to Sheldon Adelson through his good friend her sponsor, Haim Saban, to stay on the sideline; because your favorite country is safe with me, and Rubio is a lightweight who can’t beat Trump and keeps coming up third and will just waste your money.

NYT: Bernie Sanders Is Jewish, but He Doesn’t Like to Talk About It

Is it a bad thing that Bernie Sanders doesn’t like to talk about being Jewish? Is that more or less bad than white people who don’t celebrate their white identity?

One Jew emails me:

Sanders is an appalling embarrassment, the worst kind of shonda fur de goyim. I love his Polish identity: I wonder whether he’d have helped his fellow “Poles” burn the Jews at Jebwabne. His Polish identification makes him worse than an “Uncle Tom.” He would be an “Uncle Bedford Forrest.”” Sick.

Is it sick for a Jew to not be out and proud and talky about his Jewish identity? I don’t think so.

There’s no inherent reason for race and religion to be a person’s primary identity.

Is it important that Catholics put their Catholicism before their Americanism? Is it important that American Jews are first loyal to their Jewish identity? Should American whites be white first? Should American Muslims be Muslim first? Should blacks be black first before American?

To identify as a Jew does not mean you must put your Jewish identity first.

In many European countries, their Jewish citizens have historically been regarded as primarily Jews, not as fellow citizens. Russian Jews in Russia are not regarded as Russian so much as Jewish. French Jews in France are not regarded as French as much as Jewish.

If Jews are regarded as separate, then they are not likely to be much liked, for even angels don’t like strangers (Mark Twain).

If you are a man of the left, then you don’t put much importance on religious and racial identity. Marxism is about the determinacy of economic relations, not religious and racial relations. Jews on the left who are more leftist than Jewish don’t put great stock on ethnic and religious identity. Bernie Sanders, like Max Blumenthal, is a man of the left, and hence ethno-nationalism makes him uncomfortable.

New York Times:

When Senator Bernie Sanders thanked supporters for his landslide victory in the New Hampshire Democratic primary, he wistfully reminisced about his upbringing as “the son of a Polish immigrant who came to this country speaking no English and having no money.”

While the crowd cheered, Rabbi Michael Paley of New York was among many Jews watching the speech who were taken aback. He said he was surprised that the Vermont senator had not explicitly described his father as a “Polish Jewish immigrant,” a significant distinction given Poland’s checkered history with its Jewish population.

“Nobody in Poland would have considered Bernie a Pole,” Rabbi Paley said.

Two days later, in a debate with Hillary Clinton, Mr. Sanders referred to the historic candidacy of “somebody with my background” without overtly saying he was Jewish. That prompted the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, a news service feeding the Jewish press worldwide, to ponder, as its headline put it, “People are confused why Bernie Sanders won’t own his Jewishness.”

Mr. Sanders, those who know him say, exemplifies a distinct strain of Jewish identity, a secular offshoot at least 150 years old whose adherents in the shtetls of Eastern Europe and the jostling streets of the Lower East Side were socialists, anarchists, radicals and union organizers focused less on observance than on economic justice and repairing a broken world. Indeed, he seems more comfortable speaking about Pope Francis, whose views on income inequality he admires, than about his own religious beliefs.

Rabbi Paley, who worked with Jews in central Vermont when he was a Dartmouth College chaplain, recalled once talking with Mr. Sanders about “non-Jewish Jews,” a term coined by a leftist biographer, Isaac Deutscher, to describe those who express Jewish values through their “solidarity with the persecuted.” Mr. Sanders seemed to acknowledge that the term described him, Rabbi Paley said.

But the secular image that Mr. Sanders casts is also complicating the way American Jews regard the historic nature of his candidacy.

When Joseph I. Lieberman, an Orthodox Jew who spurned campaigning on the Sabbath, was Al Gore’s vice-presidential running mate in 2000, many Jewish voters saw it as a breakthrough. While Mr. Sanders’s surprising run for even higher office is eliciting many strong emotions, religious pride is usually not the main one.

“Joe was an observant Jew; Bernie is marginal,” said Morris Harary, a lawyer who lives near Mr. Sanders’s childhood home in Brooklyn. As a history maker, he said, Mr. Lieberman was “much more of a big deal.”

Growing up in Midwood in the 1940s and ’50s, Mr. Sanders, who declined to be interviewed for this article, had a not atypical Jewish upbringing. His father, Eli, who sold paint to hardware stores, showed up at a synagogue virtually only on Yom Kippur, Mr. Sanders’s brother, Larry Sanders, said in an interview from England, where he is the health issues spokesman for the Green Party.

MSM Can’t Torpedo Trump, Rule America

It is comical how many articles the establishment press, mainly the New York Times, Washington Post (less so) and Politico are running every single day in an attempt to assert influence over America and torpedo Trump. Typically including opinion pieces on the front page, I count at least four pieces per day, saying things like “shame on you, America!” or the ever popular “Trump = Hitler.” The elites fear trump will make it harder for them to hire nannies.

The Goy Is A Sleeping Beast

Chaim Amalek: “To us Yidden, the goy is as a sleeping beast. Best not to poke him with these sorts of questions.”

I fear Donald Trump is awakening the beast to their group interests, to their own form of ethno-nationalism. Who knows what will happen?

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* Remember Ezra Klein tweeting that The Donald’s entry into the race was the best thing that could happen to Jeb Bush’s candidacy? Yeah, The Donald has schlonged Vox.com before, and will undoubtedly do so again.

How many of the well known, or sorta well known, national political commentariat has The Donald schlonged at this point? Sailer, Kaus, Coulter & Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) are the only unsullied ones I can think of off the top of my head, though there must be a few more out there. Really, it’s been quite a sight to see.

For the record, I don’t know if The Donald can be trusted to do half the things he says, or even if he will do any of the things he says. But given that everyone else he is running against basically all have agendas that I think are more of the same shit we’ve had for the last 20+ years, I don’t see the reason to vote for anyone else. And the one indisputable thing The Donald is doing is pissing off all the right people, really upsetting the apple carts.

If we can’t have an order that works for us, let’s have chaos instead.

* Another way Trump is like Napoleon is that both faced opponents who had grown soft, corrupt and complacent. Napoleon tore through the vast patchwork of Italian and German kingdoms, principalities and grand duchies by fighting like he meant it against armies that had grown used to not fighting battles at all or, if they did, fighting them in an almost ritualized way.

Trump is Napoleonic too for the way he’s welcomed by huge swaths of people sick of living under these stagnant and wormy little kingdoms. Trump blasts through the toll collecting robber barons and their little castles at our political choke-points the way Napoleon blasted through the original robber barons in their castles on the Rhine and Danube.

One of the titles of the God-Emperor Trump shall be the Grand Vermifuge, for the way he blasts through the parasitic media and political consultant class.

* One of the slimiest slurs in the liberal armoury of national destruction is deployed again at a time of liberal crisis: white gentiles = nazi.

The Frankfurt School intellectuals repaid the United States for sheltering them from Hitler by discovering that boring white-bread America was proto-fascist. Their absurd 1950 ‘study’ The Authoritarian Personality provided extremely important backing for those who proceeded to disassemble traditional America and replace it with a new people. Trump acts as if TAP had never been written and so obviously = nazi.

http://www.kevinmacdonald.net/chap5.pdf

“Horkheimer and Adorno then attempt to explain the role of conformity in fascism. They argue that cohesive gentile group strategies are fundamentally based on a distortion of human nature—a central theme of The Authoritarian Personality.”

http://www.cepsr.com/clanek.php?ID=328

“The focus was mainly on the potentially fascist individuals whose personality structure is of such a kind that it makes them easily susceptible to anti-democratic propaganda…

“The goal was to identify individuals susceptible to prejudices as such individuals are more disposed to succumb to fascist ideology…”

* “If Trump is really smart he should create his own Conservative TV channel and magazine, blow the Neocon media out of the water.”

He should create his own conservative political party by renaming, reorganizing, and rebuilding the GOP.

The neocons are always itching for a regime change and they got one in the GOP. Now that Trumpzilla has smashed and destroyed the GOP establishment– he “burned that bitch down”– he should change the name of the GOP and rebuild it into a competely different and viable party. Put the Reagan bullshit to rest. Reagan was a dumb guy who financialized the economy, helped create globalism and Al Qaeda, turned our economy into a debt-based economy, et al. Stop the Reagan BS. Platitudinous people need not apply to this new Trump party.

* Wait, my friend! Wait until spring…and summer! If Morty Zuckerman’s bilious broadsheet will Photoshop a clown costume on him now and put it on their front page daily, can a brush mustache and heiling arm-salute be far behind?

Every day will bring fresh Hitler analogies, occasionally spruced up with Stalin/Napoleon/Saddam/Mephistopheles cautionary cameos. Believe me, you don’t know – none of us do – the meaning, or the depths, of desperation. But we will!

* “When political scientists use the term authoritarianism, we are not talking about dictatorships but about a worldview. People who score high on the authoritarian scale value conformity and order, protect social norms, and are wary of outsiders. And when authoritarians feel threatened, they support aggressive leaders and policies.”

Or you could simplify this and say that Trump voters are not globalists.
