I got a suit and I just spent $90 for the tailor to fit it to me properly. Is that normal? She’s making a half dozen alterations so it seems reasonable to me. Incidentally, I think blacks may well be superior to whites at tailoring and selling clothes and many aspects of salesmanship because they are less inhibited and more friendly and warm. I just went in there today and I was cracking jokes and trading comments with the beautiful black ladies (southern belles) and having a grand ol’ time. If only it didn’t cost me $90 to talk to them.
I guess I have to spend so much on tailoring because of my genetically freakish proportions.
