The God Blog Quadruples In Traffic

Brad A. Greenberg comments:

A fellow journalist just called and suggested a reason for the spike in God Blog traffic: Maybe God liked seeing his name in print and e-mailed the url around to his friends, or encouraged his followers to read it.

It’s an interesting, if ridiculous, concept. I’m not sure though. Journalists do get a bad wrap for the way they treat God.

Brad posts:

Dear Bradley,

Yes, my child, I did stumble across your site while Googling ‘god’ and ‘porn’ (it’s good to make sure folks don’t use the name in vain, you know) and found TheGodBlog.org. Well done!

I did want to let you know that I harbor no ill will toward the media. After all, you kids are just doing your jobs. It’s not your fault there are all those nutjobs on both side of the religious debate that louse it up for everyone who wants to have an intelligent conversation.

Anyhow, TTYL ’cause I’ve got nuclear war to avert and sports games to attend to (how do you think Stanford beat USC? Hint: praying for a team named "The Trojans" falls on deaf ears, fans), but I did want to point something out:

I think you mean to say "journalists get a bad rap" in your final graf. Unless, of course, you think that I’m retaliating against reporters by sticking them with subpar burrito-like sandwiches, popular in the mid-Nineties. Either way, I mean you and your noble profession no harm.

KIT,
The Lord
