Comment: The Jewish Telegraphic Agency, at jta.org, is not “intended for the private consumption of Jews.” Nor are most communal Jewish papers, which get by on advertising dollars. The Jewish Journal, which publishes more Stormfront-fodder than JTA, has (or at least had for many years) a Christian as its main religion columnist in hope of getting more non-Jewish readers.
I know at one point they were also considering ways to get more readers from LA’s Koreatown, which sounds strange and was understandably abandoned.
