Germany also has no fears about its neighbors so it is free to do stupid things like invite in millions of Muslims.

Merkel has acted on this. Unfortunately, and as a German once said, “all higher values devalue themselves”. The outlook of Europeans especially in north Europe is oh-so-advanced (environmentalism, animal welfare, special Olympics) and openness to immigration, which creates a vulnerability. It is not exactly a disparity in weapon technology it is a unilateral moral disarmament or disparity in outlook, but the effect is the same. They can kiss their current values goodbye.”
