The Funniest Place Online

Comments to Steve Sailer:

* The only place in the media I find truly funny anymore is the comments section for the featured videos at Liveleak. It’s thoroughly macabre and nasty over there, and it’s a relief to have it. I can’t imagine the hassle of being a professional comedian these days.

Maybe we’re just slowly entering a neo-Victorian era. It happened after the British got tired of the crude excess of the Georges, and they were happy to be able to get back to delicacy and start dressing up table legs. As someone who lived through the punk era, I absolutely do not understand these neo-Victorians at all. Even their music is wimpy. It’s as if they’re mortally afraid to rock.

I think we have too many people who are the children of divorced parents, and these people have used up their last nerve just trying to make it to adulthood without psychological breakdown. None of them seem to have any internal psychological resources for dealing with their problems.
