Otto, who keeps making Nazi salutes, says to Brian (about nine minutes in): “I wish to find the new leader and hail him. I wish to see the leader who has been promised our people for centuries, the leader who will save Israel by ridding it of the scum of non-Jewish people, making it pure, no foreigners, no riffraff, no gypsies.”
Otto insults his followers by calling them “non-semitic Roman lovers.”
I suspect that the urge to free your country from alien elements, from foreigners and subversives and gypsies, is well nigh universal, and not unique to Nazis. Even Jews feel it. The Torah, in fact, commands it.
