If you’re thumbing a ride on a busy Southern California byway, and Jewish Journal reporter Brad A. Greenberg slows down to pick you up, here’s what you should know:
* He doesn’t look anything like the picture on his blog. That pic shows him to be a wild and crazy guy. In reality he looks like a conservative young Republican.
* He’s an aggressive young reporter. So don’t be surprised if he puts his hand on your knee and asks for hard-hitting insights.
Brad can be assertive and aggressive. Some of the older reporters he’s worked with, some of the female reporters at the Daily News, didn’t take to him too well. Some didn’t appreciate him airing the Daily News’s dirty laundry in this story. They feared it made the News look lacking in spine.
Duh.
Brad wants to jump on every story and do something with it.
I bet the Los Angeles Times had the Mirthala Salinas story and just couldn’t pull the trigger, leaving it to Beth Barrett of the Daily News.
