FM: London Haredi Women Try To Stop Non-Jewish Cleaning Ladies From Raising Their Fees

FM: A “goita” is a non-Jewish cleaning lady. In London, these women are most often from Eastern Europe and undocumented. They are usually paid a small amount of cash per hour off the books to work as house cleaners in the haredi community. And London haredi women want to keep it that way. From the the Heimishe Update, a London haredi newspaper. Please click to enlarge: goita

Chaim Amalek: “There is nothing worse than an uppity goita trying to shake down a Torah-True Yid for money. What part of “the more we pay you the less we have to pay the kids’ yeshiva bills” don’t they understand? Oy, when moshiach comes, they will fight for the chance to pay all of our bills and work for us for free!”

Lil posts: “Some lazy women need to get off their bums and so some of their own cleaning once in a little while. Come on, women, save your husband some money by cleaning your own home once in a little while. I am divided on this whole subject matter! First, I am glad the Haredi Jewish community is tight enough to make such a communal effort and I am on their side. On the other, some of the workers (according to the article) are undocumented and probably poor and just want to make ends meet for their children. This is why illegal immigration is so rampant, because people are willing to “pay someone else to do it”. On the other, I would pay the goita £7 and hour just to get on the lazy woman’s nerve. But, these housekeepers are doing it the DUMB way, you don’t make an agreement to clean a home at an hourly wave, you should charge a FLAT rate per home. 50 small home, 100 a big home, etc.. These housekeepers can start cleaning the homes of white goyim for the rate they want. Good luck to these Haredi women. I hope saving a few £ will be worth branded cheapskates.”

Wally Wharton: “Seriously, I would not allow a Muslim into my house— let alone an ILLEGAL ALIEN Muslim. I don’t allow any ILLEGAL ALIENS at my home— period.”
