Marc Gafni Returns To His Rebbe Role

Marc refers to himself as a "rebbe" on the front page of his new "Jewish Liberation School."

I thought Marc was leaving the rabbinate behind him. That he was now a spiritual artist.

Marc’s partner in this new endeavor, Gabriel Cousens, writes about himself: "Although he first met Shlomo Carlebach in 1979, after 1983 Gabriel also became one of Rebbe Shlomo Carlebach’s physicians and spent many wonderful personal hours with him and was greatly inspired by his profundity He was a great soul."

Here is a different view of Shlomo Carlebach.

I have no problem with enjoying Shlomo Carlebach’s music and appreciating his religious genius and also recognizing he had some boundary issues.
