At La Sierra College Friday afternoon, I asked Professor Gary Chartier who were the rock stars in Adventism today.
When I was growing up in the church, my dad was a rock star. Whenever he’d walk into a room, people would swarm him.
I was talking metaphorically, but practically, Adventism does boast a singing star – Patty Cabrera.
About 12 years ago, she was named by People magazine one of the 50 most beautiful women.
Gary and I drove past her house. We didn’t stalk her. We just kept driving.
Sometimes my morals are so strong, I impress myself.
