The United States Is Becoming Like Greece

On his radio show today, Dennis Prager said: “The movement of the United States towards being Greece. Having the American media (outside of Fox News, the WSJ, talk radio) behind you, the carpet bombing of left-wing rhetoric on society is a major vehicle for any Democrat. Our national debt would be the number one issue for the media if it were not left-wing.”

“Mitt Romney has decided that the battle should be tactical. Are you better off or worse off than four years ago? Run on that and you’ll go to the White House. Tell people you can fix the job crisis because you’re a fixer upper.

“Fixer uppers are not inspiring. We all need plumbers but they don’t inspire.

“This notion of I know how to fix it because I’m a businessman does not work. That’s why businessmen tend not to run for politics. They think like businessmen, not leaders. The purpose of a businessman is to create profit, a noble purpose. That’s not the same as, ‘Here is why the Left is ruining this country as it is ruining Europe.'”

“Barack Obama is a fine man who’s ruining this country. That’s the story of the Left — when nice people, well-intentioned people, ruin society.”
