The Texan Girl

My friend Pascal and I were reminiscing about sharks.

To more precisely share his feelings, the frog sent me this:

Wilder, than a dozen hungry tigers

She played the baby cat, just to get to my heart

Clever, as a blind folded starved mouse

Before the quiet trap, I opened my heart

She said: hi I’m a texan girl

And I love your country so much

I hate money and I hate the crowd

Would you show me the country side

She said: you have music in your eyes

In front of a cup of tea

And a chocolate cake my mother made

While my guitar was turning red

She was so sweet sweet sweet

As her mother used to say

She’s a baby baby bab’

The baby of her dad

Later, I put on my blue suede shoes

My favorite jeans, as a rock n’ roll star

I showed her the country side, my secret places, my deep inside

And then she showed me …….oh my God!

She said soon I’ll have to leave

But our love is a gift from heaven

We must keep it, and we have to pray

For the Lord to give us faith

Then she left and I chose the motion

I sold my piano, I sold my car

My books, my stamps, and my grandma’s cat

For the gift not to stay so far

She was so sweet sweet sweet

As her mother used to say

She was the baby baby bab’

The baby of her dad

In Texas, she showed me everything

She showed more and more and even…. oh my God!

For six months, we planned so many things

The babies and the house, and a place for God

I said now, would you listen

I’m still an alien

I want to stay, and there is a way

Would you marry me today !?

She said now, that’s enough !

You have to be realistic

To have a chance, we have to pray

For the Lord to give us faith

She was so sweet sweet sweet ….

So I went away, and I had to work so hard

To pay a new piano, and an other car

I was sad, sad so sad, and my grandma was still mad

When a gorgious blond, guess what, came my way

She said you have music in your heart

You’re so sexy and you sing so well

Would you like to come to the USA

I’ll show you the wilder side!

I said no, my grandma’s cat is dead

My mother’s cake is so so bad

I rent my piano and I rent my car

And I’ve never been so far

She was so sweet sweet sweet

As her mother used to say

Since I pray pray pray

The way she taught me, each night !

………………oh  my Lord!
