Here’s my 2005 interview with Ken Reich.

Reich admitted at the time that the much lauded Frank Del Olmo (late LAT editor) was no great shakes as a writer, reporter or editor, but he did not want me to publish that. He only wanted me to publish his admiring comments about Frank.

How this patronizing attitude towards minority journalists is supposed to help anybody beats me.
