The American Freedom Alliance will host a two day international conference on academic freedom on Sunday, June 15 and Monday, June 16, 2008 at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The title of the conference is How Free Is the University? and will feature, among many scholars, academics, government officials and commentators, Daniel Pipes, Victor Davis Hanson, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Anne Neal and David Horowitz. The conference will feature an exclusive survey, two years in the making, on the attitudes of academics throughout the United States on a range of different issues. The results of that survey are quite shocking. Among the seventeen cosponsors of the conference are the American Center for Democracy, National Association of Scholars, Campus Watch, American Council of Trustees and Alumni, Indepenent Women’s Forum., Intercollegiate Studies Institute and David Horowitz Freedom Center.
