It’s OFFICIAL now:

Newsweek ranks Yehuda Krinsky as # 4 and describes him to be:

The New LUBAVITCHER REBBE, Yehuda Krinsky

Newsweek 2008, wrote the following:

"4.Yehuda Krinsky (Lubavitch)
Global Leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, a branch of Hasidim."

Yehuda Krinsky has NEVER denied that he considers himself "THE" Lubavitcher Rebbe, as described by Newsweek.

Although Krinsky has not (yet) officially confirmed that he is accepting the "NESIUS", as the "new Lubavitcher Rebbe", but his unrelenting behavior of constantly attempting to control ALL of Lubavitch, (as though he is Rebbe), certainly proves the point that Mr. Krinsky, does indeed consider himself to have unilateral control, in a position of being a self proclaimed "NEW REBBE of Lubavitch".

The Rebbe’s 770 shull, under the management of the Gaboim, refuses to recognize Mr. Krinsky as the New Lubavitcher Rebbe and so Krinsky is fighting for control of the Shull and eviction of all Meshichisten who also refuse to recognize Krisnky’s control of Lubavitch as a newly emerged, self proclaimed, New Lubavitcher Rebbe.
In the year of 2007, Newsweek also referred to Krinsky as the new Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Since 2007 Krinsky has never yet denied his acceptance of the position as Lubavitcher Rebbe as defined by Newsweek.

It is unclear if Krisnky’s office had actually written his own "self description" for Newsweek or if Krisnky’s office, had specifically requested of Newsweek, to describe Krinsky, this way:

Newsweek 2007 said:

"Krinsky (not the Rebbe, but Mr Krinsky) has truly built a “shul” on every corner and brought the Chabad movement mainstream prominence."

"He (Krinsky) is the Leader of Chabad and its CEO". (i.e "REBBE") Newsweek wrote.

During 2007 Newsweek ranked the "Lubavitcher Rebbe" Yehuda Krinsky as # 2.
