Prager’s solution for our unemployment problem? Cut taxes.
I think the solution is for Obama to give more speeches and to hold more summit. That will really generate job growth.
Prager said that the reason that we got into this recession was the government intervening in who should get home loans. All the loans that had to be given to people who lenders did not want to lend to because the odds of getting paid back were low.
All these government manipulations inflated home prices and then set us up for this crash. The government distorted the economy. The government can do anything it wants. It does not have to answer to the free spending and saving of people.
Dennis said his own son worked in finance (perhaps Wall Street). I assume he’s talking about David, who’s in his mid twenties. I thought David was becoming an Orthodox rabbi?
