Which Prominent Media Jews Back Trump?

I think it is hard to find anyone in media, Jewish or not, who supports Trump. Talkshow hosts Dennis Prager and Michael Savage support Trump. Jews dominate Breitbart and PJMedia (which includes Roger Simon, Michael Ledeen and David Goldman) support Trump. The Powerline blog is Mirengoff and Johnson (Jewish) and Hindraker and Hayward (not Jewish) and they seem sympathetic to Trump and will all vote for him. Matt Drudge is Jewish and pro Trump and probably the most important pro-Trump media Jew. Milo is part-Jewish and pro-Trump.

Steve Sailer: Media Applauds Hillary’s Latest Stroke of Genius: Praising Merkel’s “Bravery” on Refugees

Steve Sailer: From Politico:

In swipe at Trump, Clinton names Merkel as her favorite world leader

By NOLAN D. MCCASKILL 09/29/16 05:47 PM EDT

Hillary Clinton trolled two White House opponents with a single response, dinging Gary Johnson and Donald Trump by naming Angela Merkel as her favorite world leader.

The Democratic presidential nominee on Thursday joined the discussion about politicians’ favorite world leaders, a topic that went viral when Johnson, the Libertarian nominee, drew a blank when asked Wednesday to name a world leader he looks up to and respects.

“Oh, let me think. Look, I like a lot of the world leaders,” Clinton said, bursting into laughter initially when asked about her favorite world leader during a gaggle with reporters aboard her campaign plane in Chicago. “One of my favorites is Angela Merkel because I think she’s been an extraordinary, strong leader during difficult times in Europe, which has obvious implications for the rest of the world and, most particularly, our country.”

Clinton praised the German chancellor’s “leadership and steadiness on the Euro crisis,” while adding that “her bravery in the face of the refugee crisis is something that I am impressed by.” …

Her seemingly innocuous response could be interpreted as a two-pronged attack against Johnson and Trump, though.

When first asked the question, Johnson admitted that he was having another “Aleppo moment” …

Trump has frequently attacked Merkel on the trail, panning her for Germany’s intake of refugees, and will likely use that line against Clinton in the final stages of the campaign.

“Hillary Clinton is running to be America’s Angela Merkel, and we’ve seen how much crime and how many problems that’s caused the German people,” Trump said in a speech he delivered last month in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Trump, however, also named Merkel one of his favorite leaders Thursday, despite his rhetoric on the campaign trail that would suggest otherwise.

“Well, I think Merkel is a really great world leader, but I was very disappointed that — when she — this move with the whole thing on immigration,” he told New England Cable News. “I think it’s a big problem and really, you know, to look at what she’s done in the last year and a half. I was always a Merkel person. I thought really fantastic. But I think she made a very tragic mistake a year and a half ago.”

Well, sure, what Trump said about Merkel is far more reasonable than what Hillary said. But the point is that Merkel is a woman, and YOU CAN’T CRITICIZE A WOMAN.

You just can’t.

Those are just the rules. We didn’t make them up.

Well, actually we did, which is what’s kind of awesome about them. The fact that they are absurd and humiliating to thinking people is what makes enforcing them so satisfying.

Tomorrow, Hillary could promise to name Alicia Machado chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the press would be agog at her campaign genius. What, is Trump going to criticize a woman? A woman smashing glass ceilings?

NYT: How Donald Trump Set Off a Civil War Within the Right-Wing Media

The war is between nationalists and globalists, between cucks and identitarians. It is not just a war on the Right between pundits. It is a war for the soul of Western civilization.

New York Times: When Trump declared his candidacy in June 2015, the part of his announcement speech that most clearly foreshadowed the campaign to come had to do with immigration. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” he told the crowd at Trump Tower. “They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”

The line struck Sykes as awfully familiar when he heard it. A month before, he had run a segment with Ann Coulter, who had just published her 10th book, an anti-immigration screed titled “¡Adios, America!” Sykes was well aware of Coulter’s views, but he was taken aback when she began a riff on Mexican rapists surging into the United States (a subject that takes up an entire chapter of “¡Adios, America!”). “I remember looking at my producer and going, ‘Wow, this is rather extraordinary,’ ” he told me. “When Trump used that line, I instantly recognized it as Ann Coulter’s.”

In fact, Corey Lewandowski had reached out to Coulter for advice in the run-up to Trump’s announcement speech. The address Trump delivered on June 16 bore no resemblance to his prepared text, which contained a mere two sentences about immigration. Instead, he ad-libbed what Coulter today calls “the Mexican rapist speech that won my heart.” When Trump’s remarks provoked fury, Lewandowski called Coulter for backup. Three days later, she went on HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” and, amid shrieks of laughter from the audience, predicted that Trump was the Republican candidate most likely to win the presidency.

One evening this past March, Trump received Coulter at Mar-a-Lago. Though in recent years the two had developed a rapport on Twitter, she had met him face to face only once before he declared his candidacy, a lunch date at Trump Tower in 2011. Over lunch, Trump gave Coulter the impression that he had read her books. He also gave her a few items from his wife’s line of costume jewelry and told Coulter, who keeps a house in Palm Beach, that she was welcome to use the pool at Mar-a-Lago anytime.

The golf resort was the chief staging ground for Trump’s charm offensives against the conservative media. Many of its members have visited at Trump’s invitation in recent years, joining the resident Gatsby for steak and lobster on the patio, where Trump squints and appears to listen intently while his guests dispense political wisdom — though it is never clear whether he is actually interested in it, simply flattering his guests or sizing them up. When I dined with him on the patio this spring, Trump asked me eagerly about how I liked his odds in the election. Later, on the campaign trail, I watched him solicit the same counsel from random stragglers on the rope line.

Coulter, at any rate, appeared immune to the whole routine. A week earlier, Trump bragged during a Republican presidential debate in Detroit that “there’s no problem” with the size of his penis. On the patio, Coulter told the candidate that no one wanted to hear about his endowment. She told Lewandowski that he should buy a dozen teleprompters and put them in every room of Trump’s house until he learned how to use them. Reminding Trump that she had been his earliest and most dedicated advocate, she told him: “I’m the only one losing money trying to put you in the White House. You’re going to listen to me.”

LAT: Immigration officials tried twice to deport Ugandan refugee fatally shot by El Cajon police

Uganda does not send us their best.

Los Angeles Times:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials had twice tried to deport a Ugandan refugee because of drug and firearm convictions before he was shot and killed this week by El Cajon police, authorities said Thursday.

Alfred Olango, 38, of El Cajon was convicted of transporting and selling narcotics and ordered in 2002 by an immigration judge to be deported, according to an ICE statement.

Immigration officials said they tried unsuccessfully multiple times to obtain travel documents from the Ugandan government so he could be deported.

Unable to send him back to his native country, ICE officials released Olango in 2003. He was placed under supervision due to a Supreme Court ruling that forbids the detention of foreign nationals with final deportation orders for more than six months if they cannot be deported “within the reasonably foreseeable future.”

“This is often due to a foreign government’s refusal to accept the repatriation of its nationals,” ICE said.

WP: A spy’s unhappy wife could have turned D-Day into a disaster for the Allies

Washington Post:

But, as newly declassified British documents at Britain’s National Archives reveal, it could have gone horribly wrong had Pujol’s then-wife had her way. Reports kept by MI5, Britain’s domestic counterintelligence agency, indicated that, by mid-1943, Araceli Gonzalez was getting increasingly exasperated with life in London, homesick for Spain and her mother and eager to quit ol’ Blighty.

“I don’t want to live five minutes longer with my husband,” she is documented shouting at Pujol’s MI5 case officer, Tomas Harris. “Even if they kill me I am going to the Spanish Embassy.” Had she done so, British authorities feared, Pujol’s mission would be totally compromised. Spain’s fascist government, while technically a nonbelligerent during World War II, had obvious ties to the Axis powers.

The newly declassified documents show how Pujol and his British handlers managed to subdue his wife’s protestations through coercion and deception. The language used to describe Gonzalez’s demeanor is unkind. She was 23, living in a tiny flat in gray and war-ravaged London, spoke little to no English, and was coping with a newborn while her husband was gone most hours of the day.

“She is a highly emotional and neurotic woman and therefore I have never definitely disillusioned her in her hopes that she might be allowed to see her mother before the termination of the war,” Harris wrote. Other documents indicate that British officials attempted to calm Gonzalez with a present of silk stockings, which were in short supply during wartime.

They placed a watch on the Spanish Embassy to intercept her if she attempted to reach it. And then they cooked up a hoax with the willing participation of her husband, who pretended to be arrested by the British as a consequence of the security threat his wife posed. He was only “released” after Gonzalez issued a statement under British supervision that she would “not do anything in future to jeopardize the work being done by her husband or cause embarrassment” to the British intelligence services.

According to notes made by Harris, she was scolded dismissively by an MI5 lawyer: “He reminded her that he had no time to waste with tiresome people and that if her name was ever mentioned to him again, he would simply direct that she should be locked up,” the case officer wrote. “She returned home very chastened to await husband’s arrival.”

WP: ‘Duterte: Hitler killed millions of Jews, I will kill millions of drug addicts’

I don’t think Americans understand that to most of the world, Hitler is simply a guy who lost WWII, not the epitome of evil. That Hitler slaughtered his enemies is not a big moral concern for most of the world. They take that sort of thing for granted.

The Philippines are waging a real war on drugs, making the West look like wimps.

Rodrigo Duterte may be a model for what America can expect from Donald Trump. Or perhaps Bibi Netanyahu is a more likely model.

Washington Post:

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday compared his campaign to kill criminals to the Holocaust, saying he would like to “slaughter” millions of addicts just like Adolf hitler “massacred” millions of Jewish people.

“Hitler massacred three million Jews. Now, there are 3 million drug addicts. … I’d be happy to slaughter them,” he told reporters early Friday, according to GMA News.

“You know my victims, I would like to be, all criminals, to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition,” he said.

The comment was a response to critics who have likened him to Hitler. (An estimated 6 million Jewish people were killed in the Holocaust.)

Since Duterte swept to power in July, more than 3,300 Filipinos have been killed, either gunned down by police in late-night drug operations or felled by assassins, often after being named by police.

Victims of the extra-judicial killing spree are drug suspects — or those misidentified as drug suspects —named on police lists and targeted before they are charged or given the chance to stand trial. Often their bodies are dumped by the roadside with signs that read “pusher.”

The United States, the United Nations and the European Union have all expressed concern about the conduct of the “war on drugs.” When President Obama raised the issue, Duterte lashed out using a slang term that translates as “son of a whore.” When the European Parliament issued a statement, Duterte literally gave them the finger.

WP: ‘Could Clinton’s and Netanyahu’s common love of ‘Hamilton’ aid the cause of Mideast peace?’

No. Different groups have different interests. Shared love of a Broadway musical won’t bring Arabs and Jews together. As long as there is a Jewish state in their midst, Arabs will hate it because its prosperity shows them up.

Washington Post:

In a conference call Thursday with more than 500 American rabbis and Jewish leaders, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton emphasized her commitment to Israel — as well as the fact that both she and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu love the musical “Hamilton.”

Could the Broadway hit help foster Mideast peace? Most likely, not. But no one can question the two politicians’ sincere interest. Clinton’s seen it three times, she said according to one of the call’s participants. And on Sunday — the same day Netanyahu met separately with Clinton and GOP nominee Donald Trump — the prime minister stopped by the Strand bookstore to purchase Ron Chernow’s biography of the nation’s first Treasury secretary.

According to a Clinton campaign aide, Clinton joined a call with Director of Jewish Outreach Sarah Bard and Rabbi Julie Schonfeld “to wish the community ‘Shana Tovah’ and thank them for the work they have been doing on the ground to organize their communities.” The call came 48 hours before the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Clinton spoke of her deep appreciation for the late Israeli prime minister Shimon Peres, at whose funeral her husband will speak on Friday. Listening to Peres was “like listening to a psalm,” Clinton said, according to one participant.

The former secretary of state also said she and Netanyahu discussed her commitment to Israel’s security, to continue working for peace, and to protecting Israel from delegitimization in international arenas.

How stupid does this newspaper think people are?
